For breakfast, the bacon tasted like the home fries and the home fries tasted like the bacon, but neither really tasted like home fries or bacon. There was some other pungent, vinegar like flavor which cross contaminated the home fries and the bacon. The coffee was eh. The water definitely tasted like water. Wait staff was friendly.

Food was good but not great. I was really excited to have the turkey dinner that they are famous for. Apparently they dont serve it at 12 on saturday because its to busy. I dont know what time saturday is less busy seeing as they arent open late saturday.

Basic diner in Southie with a great menu and very reasonable prices. Had the eggs, toast and coffee for under $5. Decor is a throwback to simpler times among the more modern updates to the neighborhood. Service was good but not fantastic. To be fair there was only one waitress for the entire place and it was half full at 6 am. Credit cards accepted with a minimum $10 order.

I've been here twice now, about a year apart from each visit. Both times I have been very satisfied. I got their special of eggs and sausage or bacon the first time, and this time a southie omelette with corned beef. The people I went with both times had gotten burgers. Both times everyone was very satisfied and the prices are very reasonable

It’s nothing fancy, but the food is good and so are the prices. The waitstaff is pretty nice. But the place is small, so we had to wait a long time for a table. We also had to wait a super long time to pay even though there was only one person in front of us.

I always get the same thing: the farmers (two eggs, sausages, bacon, toast, french toast or pancakes) with dark rye and french toast. Eating this will cure what ails you, 100% of the time. Add a side of corn beef hash if you're still somehow hungry.

One of the best breakfast places I’ve been too. Never had a problem, been going here every week for the past 6 months about. Staff is friendly, price is cheap, food is delicious. I do wish they could expand as it is a small place and usually crowded (at least on weekends), never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to get a spot if it was full. Also their vegan options are delicious. I’m not vegan but the tofu scrambled with veggies mixed in is worth a try. They also deliver around the area (cash only).

Ridiculous... How a place could refuse to deliver to somewhere less than 2 miles away from the restaurant is beyond me. It's almost like you were too lazy to see that it was a 5 min drive. If I wasn't stuck at work I would come pick it up.

I was a little offended today, the bill was $7.06 and he gave me $0.94 back, remind you every time I go I tip $5,, I only ordered the special I let him keep the change and I still gave him a $5 tip,, yeah I'm very unhappy I don't think I'll be coming back here again, and to top it all off he doesn't remember what I order, isn't that their job? Oh well live and learn,,

Anyone who's accustomed to dining understands the ebb and flow of ordering food and receiving food. On the same side of that coin, anyone who's accustomed to working at a dining establishment understand ebb and flow of receiving an order for food and giving an order of food. And somewhere in between those two principles lies the subtle Balancing Act that cost me $9 for half a cup of coffee. For when they tell you to inform your server about any food allergies and your server, after being informed, ignores this and presents you with a meal consisting primarily of the food item you specifically asked not to be put on your plate. You have to take it as a subtle sign that your your Patron is either not welcome, or someone is experimenting with your patience. Either way. Pay your bill and walk away never to return

Hidden on A and 3rd St, this place is definitely easy to miss if you are just driving by. Definitely worth finding though for your quintessential diner. Menu is big and service is fast and they always have some great revolving specials on the board. Never had a bad experience or food here. They have 5 or 6 bagel sandwiches to pick from as well as numerous omelets. The strawberry waffles and BLT are awesome and the home fries are the best I've had at any diner. Just be ready to wait a few minutes on weekends, especially for groups of 4 or more.

Great food for cheap. Fries are always perfect. Never had a wrong order, which is more than I can say for most restaurants in Melrose. Chicken fingers are the best outside of Liberty Bell.

First time the food was wonderful. Eggs, bacon, toast and tea. Yesterday got hash and eggs...ABSOLUTELY NO TASTE AND WAS MUSH, which is surprising as they have a restaurant in South Boston, go figure. Service is fast and restaurant is clean. Good...but stay away from the HASH!

I think I remember seeing lines here on the weekend, but when we came on a Thursday in the early afternoon, there were only a couple of other people in the restaurant. Table service was polite and the food was good. We opted for two variations on Greek omelettes with whole wheat toast. They came with pan fried potatoes-- all in ample portions. The coffee was decent. Service was quick. No complaints!

This is a local diner in Melrose right on Main Street. The serve breakfast and lunch daily and only open from 6:00AM - 3:00PM. The food is delicious and prices are cheap and reasonable. The quality of the food is amazing and the portions are generous. I love their breakfast/brunch and you can get things like breakfast sandwich, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, homefries, hash browns, ect. Their lunch menu is very good too! They serve sandwiches, wraps, salads, burgers and even have a kiddie menu and a vegan menu. The food is delicious, well prepared, excellent quality and reasonable prices. There is tons of free parking on Main Stree, behind the restaurant and across the street.

I was craving breakfast food for lunch so I popped in here. I wasn't disappointed. Exactly what I expected out of a diner. Fast service, and good, cheap food. For the record I did just get scrambled eggs and toast, so it wasn't anything to rave about. Still good though!
