The food itself was okay, but the service needs to get better. I’m not going back there. Maybe order in, but probably not. Like I said food wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t really bad either. It was okay, but service needs improvement now. The only time this restaurant seems to get good reviews is when they have the mariachi bands and the open mic stuff, but service and food should be good throughout the whole week not just the weekends or whenever they do those things.

The food is great, the waitresses are friendly , hoewever, the music sometimes can get SUPERRR loud that you cant even conversate with anyone you go with. Also, it gets pretty busy, and they overwhelm their waitresses to the point where they can be gone for 20min without you having a chance to ask for anything and the manager or owner that was there will stand there in a corner and just watch then struggle and not do a damn thing. This last visit they had our waitress doinng to go and she already had quite a few tables so... we didnt end up being able to order more tacos and drinks we just waited the 20min to get our check to pay and leave. Ive had good dining experience here before though so im not discarding this as one of my favorite spots but damn, they need to figure it out. Its NOT the waitresses messing up, its the management overloading them.

The food is amazing here, I definitely recommend both the corona-ritas and the micheladas. The owners and waitstaff are extremely friendly and courteous, and always take their time, especially with their regular customers. Great decor, and even features a live mariachi band on the weekends!

Mi Salvador was an auditory as well as gastronomic experience. When I walked through that door, I forgot I was in Boston. My friend ordered a Colombian steak plate with chicharrón, the highlight of our meal. The portion sizes are extremely generous with rice, beans, salad, plantains, and extra tortillas, so bring your entire posse along for good food and karaoke. The most memorable part was the deafening karaoke coming through the tinny, bass-heavy speakers, which made conversation difficult but was fun to witness. The restaurant manager would periodically wrestle the mic away from the hands of over-enthusiastic singers, sparing us from their out-of-tune warbling by singing a few songs himself. Although the tacos al pastor and the beef enchiladas weren’t quite as succulent as those in the mercados in Mexico City, they got the flavors right. Strangely, the horchata tasted more like Nesquik than a rice-based drink. This may appear to be a critical review, but the positives far outweighed our minor quibbles. 10/10 would recommend if you crave quasi-authentic Mexican food in a rambunctious atmosphere. Absolutely worth the trip to Chelsea.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with grace an felt welcome. The environment is clean and very authentic. It was only myself for lunch, so I sat at the bar. I was given homemade chips and salsa immediately with my menu. The service was wonderful and friendly. A note from me who doesn't speak great Spanish, the ladies spoke great English. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, and it came fairly quick. Very fresh, and the avocado on the side was perfect. So I have to give them 5 stars. I'll be back. Thank you. PS. Very affordable.

Yesterday I ordered some tacos, typical dish, when my plate arrived to the table I noticed something very unusual and made me get really mad, two of the tacos had half the portion, very noticeable next to the rest of them, that really made me mad, I didn't say a think because I was afraid of the waitress spitting on my food in case I decided to order something else afterwards, the waitress is the man reason why I would not go back to that place neither recommend the place, its sad because my family and I like the restaurant a lot, I didn't care enough to ask for her name, it wasn't worth it since she's a very unkind person, let's just say she's the one with the fake teeth and witch's laugh, her attention to the costumers is bad, it is normal that we forget stuff, but she wrote our order, my son was missing a portion of his order so he decided to ask her for it, she did not like that, came back and practically threw it on the table in front of my son

A great family friendly restaurant! The surrounding enviroment truly exhibits hispanic culture. The dishes are exquisite to the touch of the tounge. As a frequent customer I enjoy and reccomend the Margaritas,Steak Quesadilla and Nachos !
