Looks clean on the outside, but it isn't on the inside. Saw a member of the wait staff eat food from a buffet tray with their bare hands right before putting it out for the customers to eat. That waitress saw that I knew what had just happened, but still proceeded to put the tray out for people to eat. Very unsanitary. I guess with the cheap prices, you get what you pay for. Definitely won't be coming back.

Always the best! We started with Peking Ravioli & Scallion Pancakes. For entrees, we had the Pad Thai & the Chinese Eggplant with Tofu. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! Always a nice place for dinner or a special event.

We ordered appetizers and chicken lo mien. Everything was good. The chicken fingers had too much breading and the chicken was too small. Lo mien was tasty but needed more chicken and vegetables. Not enough crab in crab rangoon. Everything was tasty but could have been better quality for the pricing they charge. Unfortunately Milford lacks quality Chinese restaurants so they are able to get away with this and not lose customers. We will go again but not too often.

I love this local restaurant. The pricing is fair and the food is absolutely delicious. Service is always good and organized. On sundays they have a buffet and I LOVE heaping tons of food onto my plate. Its a good deal for the price and you cant go wrong. Most of the time I order takeout (scallion pancakes, crab rangoona, kung pao chicken, hunan spicy beef, and white rice) and all of it is top notch.

Been there for dinners & very much liked it but I'm mostly there for the sushi at the lunch buffet. Sampling other offerings, I've found Mandarin's buffet quality to be better than most. Sitting at the bar at lunch time I've always gotten friendly attentive service.

The food here is pretty good. The rice is fine. The servers are nice, but recently when I went here it took way to long to serve our food. And finally when we got it, they forgot to cook two of our meals. Very disappointed (and starving). Will go back but maybe not as often. I would recommend they get more servers because one poor woman has to wait on practically everyone in the room (bar). Might have to find a place where the food is served all together..

I have been a customer of Mandarin Milford for 6 years. Tonight, I experienced horrible customer service. I placed an order for pick up and when I got home and unpacked the food I discovered that I received vegetable tempura rather than the shrimp tempura. I called and asked if they could refund my card for just the shrimp not the entire order. The woman on the phone said she was aware I placed and order for shrimp (she took the order) but when I told her there was a mistake she was short with me and insisted that they could not refund my card for the shrimp. Again I was not asking for a full refund just for the shrimp. She said I could drive back and pick up the correct order or the next time I come in I could give my phone number and they would provide the shrimp at no cost. I asked how a credit in the future would work and she said she would write down my number and the credit would be associated with my phone number. That doesn't sound honest or something that a customer should have to do to receive a refund for an incorrect pick up order. I said I lived 15 minutes away and would just prefer a credit to my card and that I could give her my card number of the phone for the credit. She was rude and said she couldn't refund my card and the credit for a future order was the only resolution. Over less than a $15 app. all it took was rude customer service and I will never bother giving them our business again. The pick up order tonight was average at best and spoiled by the experience. Reading from other reviews this location is under new management which is a shame. The former management all the years I was a customer was amazing and ran a tight ship. There are plenty of places in the area that provide good food (even deliver) and are trained with the proper customer service. It also takes less than one minute to refund a credit card ....

Called to order take out and was asked 50 questions that were not necessary. They wouldn't accept a credit card over the phone so I couldn't have someone pick it up. I tried 3 times to have someone stop talking to me on the other end of the phone that wouldn't be rude to me. It didn't happen. I will never get anything from there and everyone who told me it was great, will have their minds changed.

Came for the lunch buffet at 2:30 for Christmas. Dinner is at 4:00 buffet but the buffet was completely empty they tried to sell us in the full price sit down menu they refused to refill the buffet even though there was still 1.5 hours till dinner.

The food was a 4 out of 5 I have tasted better better Crab Rangoon and steamed dumpling butt what annoyed me was my fortune cookie I dont like insulting fortune cookies. Service is what you make it if you leave rock for for some one to eat and then hurl up at the end of the meal that is bad service it's not for you to judge.

For a buffet, the quality was above par. Customer service was top notch and the place was clean.Do try their steamed dumplings if you ever decide to visit this place as they are top notch. That said, they do not have a lot of variety, which explains why they're only getting 4 out of 5 stars.

I usually end up going late so the wait is never bad and almost always eat at the sushi bar. The regular food is very good, but the sushi is outstanding. Be prepared to pay 17-18 for the good stuff, but GET THE GOOD STUFF. the chefs there dont screw around, it is seriously the best sushi around. Absolutely love it every time I go.

The Mandarin Milford has dishes that I have only seen in restaurants in Chinatown. The Peking Duck skin was crispy and very well displayed. Their take on Sesame Chicken put the focus on the protein and the sauce versus a thick batter coating. The sherbet based desserts were beautiful and not too sweet making them a great post-dinner treat that is not too heavy.

Milford Mandarin is my FAVORITE Chinese / Japanese restaurant bar none. Some of my favorites are the Maguro Awase, Crabstick Avocado Salad, Spinach Fried Rice. Huge menu and everything is just so great. Service is amazing, staff is very friendly. PLEASE tell me exactly, though, the ingredients are in your Scorpion Bowl cocktail. They are the best Scorpion Bowls I have had, and I have tried making them myself at home using recipes I find online, but they aren't even close to the same. Can you disclose your recipe....PLEASE!?? : )

The owner Kenny was very nice and his staff was extremely friendly. I would recommend the Mandarin to everyone that loves good food and friendly people! We will be back :)

I do not live in the area but my boyfriend does. Our first visit there together I was blown away. I asked for extra spicy and I got what I wanted. Loved it! Our second visit was just okay. We were seated in the cramped front area and the experience was uncomfortable for both of us and I didn't get the spicy I asked for. The last time we were there it was awful. The service was bad and my dish, that was so awesome the first time, was hardly what it was supposed to be. When you tell your server that you like your food spicy and you tell them twice so they understand....they should make sure the kitchen knows to make it that way. Oh, and when you drop the food at the table and a water glass is empty, maybe it should be filled before you run to the next table to make sure they have enough to drink. I was so upset that night our server only got a 10% tip. If I were paying the check it likely would have been nothing. The next time I have the option to go to Mandarin or get takeout from the place down the road....I'll opt for the takeout. This was just my experience.

Staff was rude! It wasn't even a busy night plenty of tables open. Went to celebrate a birthday with a party of like 8 would easily have been a $100 + bill and they let us walk out over a $10 "fee" for bringing in our own birthday cake! Great doing business with you! We won't be back! Adding to this, after we left we went to a unos that had no issues whatsoever letting us bring a birthday cake in and even supplied plates and a cake spatula for us to serve the cake with offered to sing happy birthday as well. Much better service! Glad we took our business elsewhere. Much better night.

This is a great buffet. I eat lunch there occasionally, and I really like that they include sushi with the buffet. The only challenge is watching for when they restock the sushi, as it goes fast. Actually the real challenge is not eating too much. Yum!

We're no strangers to this restaurant. Have typically found that this is the best Chinese food since the Pago Pago closed, but this meal was a DISASTER. While there seemed to be many girls to follow up, there seemed to be only one waiter and the service was terrible. Finally got our appetizer, and had another ten minute wait and he brought out our Lo Mein (only). By the time the rest of the meal came out, our Lo Mein was cold. Had to ask (and wait) for duck sauce and hot mustard, then they were brought separately, out one at a time. Then had to wait for the bill, then to pickup the bill payment. .....and the restaurant wasn't even that crowded! Very unusual for this place, but a real turnoff. Will be trying other places before going back here. PS, the Egg Fu Yeun was good.

My Fiancé and I stopped in on a Saturday night around 9:45 p.m. and ordered food at the bar. We sat there 10 minutes and an employee eating at one of the tables came over and definitely not happy we interrupted his dinner. We ordered the BoBo Sampler for two and vegetable fried rice. The sampler was lukewarm and most items soggy and the fried rice was doused in soy sauce. The portions were small and drinks overpriced. I will not be returning. It was so much better before they expanded.

Great Chinese, good sushi! We've eaten the lunch buffet dozens of times. The sushi on the buffet is far better than you expect and the chinese food is also very good. However, I recommend you order from the menu because it is even better. The Chinese food is probably the best I have had in MA, among the best I've had anywhere. The Sushi is also quite good, definitely some of the better sushi in the region.

Absolute rip off, service poor and food unspeakable. I was not expecting much at this area in terms of good Asian food and I am not very fussy. This placed is overpriced you will pay $3.50 for sparkling water from the bar gun and $8.25 for vodka soda with splash of vodka. Hot sauce is so greese and tasteless is makes you sick only if you smell it. One thing I give them is bar and restaurant looked very clean. My honest opinion, you decide..

Fish on sushi portion of buffet looked like it was out for too long. Decided to order off menu instead. Hot/Sour soup was above average. Shrimp and Lobster sauce was way too sweet with huge chunks of bamboo shoot, raw frozen peas. Bar tender was inattentive. Needed to flag him down for everything. Too many side chores and texting all the time.

I would give 4 stars to this place since it's really nice and food it's great, but the service makes the whole experience not so good There are places where the food is average but with a great service it makes you come back Not in this place, we are attended by "Nancy" who not only bring us more food of what we ordered because she thought I order to dishes when I asked about how big a dish was, but always seemed as she was in bad mood. Maybe because of that we didn't see appropriate that she had her personal phone at the loudest ring and answer in front of everybody. Hopefully the management could do something

Wish i could give less then a 1 for this... Ive been here a couple times and each visit has gotten progressively worse. The servers have never been good. They do not know the menu, and dont seem to care to know. We hadn't even taken our jackets off when we were asked if we were ready to order. the server was friendly, but untrained. I could get into little details about examples... but id just rather say i wont be going back again.
