Best sushi around by far! Not a fan of the traditional appetizers (chicken wings, chicken fingers etc.) but the "entrees" are good.

The Asian style food is a bit different than the average Chinese restaurants around here. The food has a slightly unique clean appearance and flavor. Most Chinese restaurants tend to throw everything into one pot and it tastes good to me but Mai Place separates it's cooking a little more so you get to taste all flavors separately. Final word. YUM.

Sushi was really good. The tuna fireball was out of this world if you like heat. Nice place, friendly staff and quite an extensive menu. A really good experience. I went back a second time and had a similar experience. Love the sushi here!!

I've eatten at Mai place restaurant plenty of times and even attended their grand opening! I have yet to be disappointed with this lovely piece of Chinese food heaven. My all time favorites are, of course, honey walnut prawns because they are bursts of perfection every time! And then beef chow fun because I'm a huge noodle person. The salty fish & chicken fried rice is delicious !!! Don't be fooled by how it looks from the outside, this place is really good Sauteed String Beans with Minced Meat- yummy !!! Most dishes are 100% authentic Chinese. Next time I'm going to try their Chinese Peking duck, crab/lobsters and sizzling platters. BTW, although this place was not packed, their calls for take-out were non-stop!

I can tell you right now I have no idea how they can be rated so good Sushi overpriced & charges $1.00 for sesame seeds and $1.00 for spicy mayo poor service we all drank water and we he to tell him twice to give us refills, and furthermore who in the world puts whole kernel corn in the egg drop soup

Nothing bad to say about this location but... Can we order Patron and Remy??? Patrons are asking for a product. Staff is great, bartender makes one hell of a Mai Tai special!!! The food, sushi, wings, etc I could go on. All great!

I stumbled on this cute, family restaurant after getting lost in a run. The place was nice and clean. The people were very nice and helpful. I was seated right away. I got steamed dumplings and two special rolls. Everything was excellent, especially the softshell crab roll, which was hot and fresh.

The waitress seemed like she was mad that she had to work that day and I got a dish that sounded great on paper, but was so sweet I couldn't finish it. It tasted like lemon meringue pie flavored sauce over chicken and shrimp, not the best in my opinion. Drinks were good.

Cute chinese place. Family-style dishes and a relatively happy staff make it stand out a bit from similar locations. Perfectly serviceable food. I have the orange chicken and my guest had the crispy beef. Both were good and plentiful.

We are not from the area and were here for a training class the last 3 weekends. We were impressed with the service every time we came. We were always greeted with a smile and left with three or four different people telling you they hope you had a great day. Great lunch menu and affordable - loved the "design your own" lunch option. I am vegan but my spouse is not. Great options for both and we both enjoyed the food. Highly recommend.

I ordered takeout and most of my food was good except for one which was the sweet & sour chicken, and it was the sauce that was all wrong for it to be sweet & sour. The sauce was not good at all it had onions, pineapples, peppers and the sauce was dark. This was first time getting food from Mai Place but I heard they were good so I took the chance. I also ordered the moo shu - veg, crab rangoon and scallion pancakes. The total for the 4 was $35.79, not extremely high but not that much food for the price especially when one of the meals don't taste good. But the other meal and 2 appetizers were great.

The shrimp shu mai were very good, with a nice but delicate flavor. The hot basil fried rice had the right level of heat(some may prefer spicier) with an unexpected element of tomato. Lastly, the noodle soup with a 1/2 roasted duckling was quite good. It had a wonderful broth, but my one issue was that it required a delicate touch with removing all the bones.

This place is great! The atmosphere is average but the sushi is reasonably priced for the portions and Chinese food and mixed drink menus are solid as well. Waitstaff have always been pleasant to me. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Yes, unfortunately we were those type of people who come in 20 minutes before close, but let me tell you, this was probably the best service I've ever had. The host was super nice and made sure we got sat right away. Our waiter was very polite and let us take our time with ordering. All we got was appetizers, two sides, and two beers. The waiter suggested a drink for us to try so we gave it a shot. We got a mai tie special and the drink was delicious!! The food was unbelievable and we didn't even try the sushi!! As we were putting our food in a Togo box the owner I believe came by to see how everything was and we all ended up having a great conversation about the storm. Over all I had a awesome experience and will definitely be returning here soon!

I really like this place. Consistent menu, excellent sushi. It's a bit pricey sometimes but I would say the food and portions are worth it. You can dine in or get delivery and the food is always up to par.

Great service. Great food. We had a special reunion and Jean put out a spread that was amazing. I can not share actual sushi dishes because some might not be on the menu. The Walnut Shrimp was excellent. Ask for recommendation!!

Food is okay as it can be over the top with soy sauce so make sure you let them know you dont want your food covered in soy. Most folks like myself have ventured here simply for the MaiTai's but again, it depends who your bartender is as some bartenders will fill your glass w/bs brown liquor and simply add squirts of the good stuff so be attentive & not shy to voice your opposition. When you do get a good bartender, the drink n mood is much better.
