Not a fan.. at all....(only the breakfast is good) Several times a small child, like 9, was serving beverages. Not cute. It's gross. Food (not breakfast) is mediocre. If you decide to go... go for early breakfast. Eggs Benedict are great.

We ordered 3 dishes. One didn't come with the sausage it was supposed to. And the other, a sausage egg and cheese, didn't come with any cheese. We waited and waited but the waiter never returned so we just ate our wrong meals anyway so as to not have cold food. Our coffee was refilled once the entire hour and a half we were there (because we went up and asked), and we ordered the same iced tea three times before we actually got it...they weren't even that busy

Great service and pretty fast. Got a steak and eggs breakfast...taste was ok but for a cowboy like me the steak would rate about zero stars... they say is a choice Angus steak... taste more like it came from a worn out skin an bones Holstein... oh and did I mention that after several bites of potatoes I found a big course black hair in them... so anyway I don't even wanna know what the kitchen must look like....

Haven't been for almost 2 years but we decided to stop in. We sat in the lounge area. TV and KENO. A scratch ticket machine too. It was quiet. They seemed to be doing a good amount of takeout. My husband got the sirloin. I got prime rib. Both dinners came with soup or salad, and two sides. Our meals were great. They have a full bar with fun seasonal drinks and beers. Our server was super friendly. Food came out quickly. Priced very reasonably. I would definitely bring the family because of the home style menu. Something for everyone. Very casual.

This one deserves a big WOW, and, OMG! I ordered the prime rib and my girlfriend had the seafood diavolo. The food was fantastic, the service prompt and friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable. My only regret is that I haven't come before now, but don't take my word for it come try for yourself!

I use to work here I don't recommend going here unless u are ok with bad food. The cooks will throw ur food on the floor and wipe it of with a trash bag so if u are ok with that then u will like this restaraunt!

Definitely family friendly, but not vegetarian friendly. My carnivorous friends were only mildly please with their dishes, and one dish was sent back. Hope their menu can keep up with the times.

I can't comment on the restaurant but the ice cream is really good with giant cones. This was strictly a dairy / ice cream shop for a long time, my grandparents went there in the 1930's as kids, my dad in the 60's as a kid and I went as a kid in the 80's. Guess I need to take mine there. Anyway, it burned a number of years ago and they rebuilt into a more traditional restaurant but the ice cream is still great.

If you are into bland cafeteria microwaved food then this is the place for you. I ordered a bacon cheese burger... I got a burger that looks like it was made from cardboard and painted brown... The cheese was over loaded on the burger oh and it was nacho cheese so gross the bacon stretchy like it was bought out of a truck stop vending machine so unless you are elderly, or have no taste buds enjoy..

Lowell's is comfortable and has an old established feel. The regular menu is stocked with comfort-food standards, and a daily specials listing with a new age flair. Drinks (ie., mixology) could be better, but is reasonable priced, as is the overall menu. A good value and a friendly atmosphere.

Service was just that, nothing more, personality goes a long way from my perspective and honestly, had i had an out going friendly server i would have brought up the rating. The food was the same as the service.... just food,,, homefries while cooked right were lacking in seasoning.the omlet, well built but also lacking in seasoning. And when you send out the toast Dont be so cheap with the butter. Atmosphere was comfortable enough.

Actually..good food. Nice service. Absolutely horribly behaved children and adults with no control. Every person in large dining room had to move. Guess the staff cannot remove those types of patrons. We felt sorry for the staff.

It was my boyfriends birthday and we came here for brunch and it seemed to us that the regular customers and older couples were getting friendly service around us but when it came to us the service was cold. So from my experience if your a younger couple in your 20s you probably shouldn't go there.

My friends and I have been to Lowell's three or four times in the last couple of months and always been pleased. We took a friend for her birthday tonight and was very disappointed. We had a young man as our waiter. I ordered Turkey soup, it had bones and a very large chunk of fat in it. My friend ordered chicken parmesan and it was full of gristle . The birthday friend ordered a baked potato. Her first brought blue cheese dressing, then cream cheese and finally sour cream. When told of these problems, he replied, threes the charm ha ha. I'm not laughing.

The waitress was more concerned with someone she knew, than waiting on us. When, I asked for a few things after she brought us our meals, she waited to finish her conversation with friends. My meal started to get cold. The food was GROSS, I had turkey dinner, with extra gravy, got beef gravy, beef, squash was really sweet, they put brown sugar on it. The stuffing was Stove Top Stuffing. I asked for mash potatoes and was told they were instant, who makes instant.

Slow service, awful food. Onion rings were just thin strips of fried batter. Turkey dinner was dry. The rueben sandwich was okay but they didn't bother to add the dressing. Thank goodness I didn't have to pay for it, I had a gift certificate given to me from a friend. Never going back to this place!

Lowell's Restaurant is a great family owned restaurant in Mendon, MA on the Bellingham line. They are open 7 days a week with hours starting at 7AM right through 10PM in the evening. Their menu has a wide selection of foods available like, Seafood, Italian, Beef, Poultry, and Pork. Of course they also have their breakfast selections all at very reasonable prices. They have a large family orientated dining area along with a private room for a small event gathering and they will do catering also. Their large fully stocked bar area can serve beer, wine and mixed drinks. Lowell's is a landmark restaurant in the Mendon area. If you're ever in the area they are a definite place you should try for a meal out.

When we arrived at Lowell"s( mid week around 9:15am) the place was empty. This should of been a warning to us to pull out & leave. Three of us went to Lowell's for breakfast & we were all surprised. The ice coffee we ordered looked like discolored water. The bacon & homefries were cold & the egg sandwiches were warm at best. Not sure what happened to this place. To make things worse, a hair was found inside the egg sandwich melted to the cheese. I kindly paid the bill & even left the tip to the waitress. Sadly, this is not the same Lowell's I grew up with. I really hoped that it would be the same quality of food when it was up on the hill & the greek family ran it!! That was the best in the state!! Now it's just a memory....

Casual Italian/American. Their marinara sauce is the best I've ever had. Lasagna, eggplant parm, chicken parm, with a side of pasta they'll let you customize in their Italian Combo plate is amazing and can EASILY give you a take home meal from it to boot. Family recipes and homemade. Specials change frequently. My son went there with me really waiting ravioli, but it wasn't on the menu (it's a special they run sometimes when they make it). When the waitress saw his 10 year old disappointment, she went in back to see if they would make it just for him. They did, and he loved it. It's wonderful to see there are still places that value the customer like that and are willing to go the extra mile to make someone happy...even if it's a child. The staff made us feel like guests in their home. Saying this place is causal - its casual like having dinner cooked for you as a teenager by your best friends mom who everyone tells "you should open a restaurant!". Here it is! Comfort food at its very best.

Friendly staff, very accommodating. I work nights and I went there in the morning and I wanted lunch or a dinner from the menu. And although I couldn't get a side they did accommodate me with a hot sandwich coleslaw. I'll go again.

We went there last night for Father's day and our waitress was absolutely incredible. The food was incredible, and we didn't feel rushed even though we stayed close to your closing time! We had a big group too and everything went awesome! We are truly impressed and will be in contact to maybe set up a dinner for our upcoming wedding in August. Thanks again!!!

Enjoyed a good breakfast with my little guy. The food was good but took a little too long coming out for a fidgety 5 year old. I also would have expected a fresh refill on my coffee while I was eating breakfast but was finally asked after I finished my breakfast. It was a typical busy Sunday so that could be the reason for the slow service. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. My little guy loved the Mickey mouse pancakes. Definitely a nice family restaurant with a good atmosphere.

Waitress very nice, but got a bad batch of Cole slaw that had obviously gone bad. I ask her to take it away and ill just eat the fish and chips. Then the supervisor makes the server leave a "fresh" batch on my table even after I tell her I'm nauseous and don't want it! All I got was attitude and no apology what so ever!!
