Don’t waste your time or money

About as good as it gets around the Metro West area in my opinion. The food had good flavor and the menu has all the classic stuff you'd be looking for. Leftovers heated up well and the food is not greasy. A little more expensive than you might expect from a Chinese place, but good for them. If people will pay $20+ for a plate of pasta why does Chinese food "have" to be cheap? The ambiance in here is nice and the service was attentive and friendly. As a Chinese person... my ideal food would be from the places I like in Chinatown but if you don't want to go to Boston this does the trick.

I went to Lotus Blossom in Sudbury for the first time recently. I arrived just as they opened at 11:30 am on a weekday and tried their $13.50 lunch buffet. I was seated immediately. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Soup is included in the buffet, but tea is not. I did not try the soup. Waiter was constantly attentive. Included appetizer buffet items - I liked the eggplant dish, but did not try the sushi since I never eat it. The quality of the luncheon foods was good. As others reviewers have posted, I would like to have seen a bigger selection. They have fewer choices, even for lunch, compared to other Asian restaurants. Dessert - only a couple of choices for dessert. I liked the chocolate mousse with chocolate crunch bottom.

I loved it! Beef was flavorful. Pork sparerib was tasty but not too fatty. General gaus was not at all spicy, but just the right amount of crispy. I've tried about 5 different Chinese restaurants in the area, and this was by far my favorite. I didn't try the sushi, but my part said it was excellent.

On 11-24-2013, my family and I enjoyed a memorable evening at The Lotus Blossom Chinese Restaurant in Sudbury, Massachusetts. The moment we entered the restaurant, we experienced a warm hospitable environment with smiling faces and sincere conversation from staff. We were escorted to our table by Toby Seto, one of the proprietors. Then we were greeted by Shawn, asking us for our drink order and introducing us to our waiter, Jen. Jen was very observant and attentive. Never had to ask for a drink refill. Surprisingly, I looked to my drink and discovered it had been refreshed without my noticing. Jen was always ready to explain or answer questions or assist in selecting from the menu. Far and away one of the very few waiters I have experienced absolute quality and complete excellence in performing his job description and responsibly. Toby, the proprietor I mentioned earlier came by several times. He simply spoke to us, giving us the opportunity to provide feedback. What a clever way of demonstrating his concern for his guest's satisfaction. In speaking with Toby, I asked about the Chef. The head chef's name is Wesley Chen. Toby mentioned he is a young man who has had the privilege of appearing on "Celebrity Chef"! That statement alone testifies to what my family experienced in quality, presentation, texture and flavor. Amazing! Toby is just one of the two proprietors at the restaurant last night. The other is Maurice. My take on the positioning and attention we got from Maurice is he and Toby make their rounds, having friendly conversation with their guest. Maurice is very courteous and genuine. When you visit, ask for Toby or Maurice and compliment them on their achievement. Congratulations from the Leasure Family to the staff in the kitchen and the attendants and servers in the dining room for your roll in creating such an elegant, flawless dinning experience.

Went for lunch at 1PM for buffet that runs until 2. 90% of buffet was empty for 30 minutes. When they finally brought out some more food it was almost nothing. They're obviously more concerned with saving $20 in ingredients than providing an enjoyable experience. I've come here for years and probably won't anymore.

I had been coming here for years and always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. However I stopped back today after almost a year since I had been there. This was a quick visit for take out appetizers and all four choices were extremely disappointing very different from what I recall from our previous visits. Not sure if it is under new management or a new chef, but we were sadly disappointed.

Update: 2/11/2018. Price for the buffet has increased to $23.50. Sadly, Daniel the bartender's salary has not. Still worth a visit or 12. I stopped in here after passing for many months to and from work. I finally took a Sunday and went for the sushi buffet. It was fantastic. The selection was great and very delicious and fresh. The hot buffet was equally delicious. Choice of several stuffed dumplings, seasame chicken, noodles, white rice and some daily options. The decor is modern, with classic tables with cloth. I will definitely be stopping by again. FYI.. buffet is $17.50 I go just about every other Sunday for the last 4 years.

BEST place to get sesame chicken and lomein! My girlfriends and I will often come here to enjoy a drink at the bar and then dinner. Their service is fast and their food is delicious. I never feel sick or bloated and the meat seems to be of good quality. I have also taken my little children here and they are child friendly and they even like some of their food. A win for all!

We went for their Sunday brunch. The restaurant was clean and at about half capacity. The food was of good quality and tasted freshly prepared. Buffet items were constantly being refilled and appeared to be cooked in small batches. Both the sushi selections and the hot food selections were a bit different then the usual Chinese buffets in the area. That made for some nice changes but if your looking to fill up on all your usual favorites you might be disappointed. All considered it was a good experience with some tasty new dishes.

This restaurant serves both Chinese and Japanese food. They have a broad selection. Food is flavorful, although sometimes the beef is chewy. Service is very good. Although one section (and the rest rooms) are down a couple of steps, if you have accessibility needs, staff will show you the ramp.

After being a loyal customer since they opened and having Christmas Eve dinner there for 18 years we expected some loyalty. We were treated shabbily and will never go back. Horrible customer service. This is a solid suburban Asian restaurant. The wonton soup and BBQ spare ribs are my go to dishes. The sushi is also good (albeit not very creative options). The dining room is large but expect to wait during peak dining times.

The food was very disappointing, prices were too high for the food that we got, and the service was absolutely terrible. The waiter refused to answer questions, did not want to talk to us, and acted very disinterested, and was very dismissive of four of us who racked up a fairly significant bill. And when we came home, we could not find one of our leftovers. The next day, when we poured the food out to a plate, we realized that he dumped two different dishes in one leftover container just to save a container!!!! It was like dog food!!!!!!! We threw the food away.

My grandparents told me that Lotus Blossom has awesome chinese food, but it wasn't what I expected. The pork fried rice was burnt, and the rice was hard. I had pork fried rice from other restaurants before, but this one from Lotus Blossom was bad. General Gao's chicken's meat was tough and dry. Hunan Crispy Shrimp was superb, every one should order that shrimp dish.
