Lee's Burger Place has a very unassuming outdoor exterior, but what lies inside is where the magic happens. Pretty much everything I have tried here has been excellent and just what I was looking for. No surprises and well priced, Lee's should definitely be worth a stop if you're in the mood for a burger, sandwich, or sub.

Some would say that their classic burgers are bland. However, it is a plus that their classic cheeseburgers are plain as they stick to their original flavors. Their thick patties and well toasted buns goes very well together along with the crisp lettuce and fresh tomatoes. Additions can also be added on for personal preferences. This place is my go-to if I'm feeling for an classic American burger.

This is a cute little burger joint in the heart of Newton Centre where you can customize your burgers and hot dogs with unlimited options for fixins and toppings. There is limited seating in the store and some seating outside.

This is a great little tucked in burger dive. The atmosphere is very "neighborhood" and the burgers and fries are just perfect. My next visit I'm going to try some of the vegetarian options. I expect I won't be disappointed.

I got the double jack burger. Not very flavorful. The burger was tender and juicy. I was there when they had the delivery come in. The burgers a premade frozen patties that come in big brown boxes. They don't even salt and pepper them for flavor. I got onion rings with the burger. The batter was crunchy and the rings were flavorful but the greasy feeling and nasty greasy burps left me feeling nasty all afternoon. I will not repeat. Locals seem to love it though.

One of the advantages of not eating meat is that whenever the masses are lining up and forking over buckets of cash for bacon ice cream or donut burgers or whatever the new food fad is, I can happily rise above the hype. For a while I was totally convinced this was the case for Shake Shack, and no amounts of lines out the door could convince me otherwise. Then I heard that their veggie burger is a fried portabello filled with cheese and I was like, "yeah, okay, smart move there, Shake Shack, I guess you're worth checking out."

Only the toppings are good. The burger meat is funky. Fries are pretty decent, though. Hotdogs are actually good. Still, I've given this place too many chances, and, I feel, have wasted my money every time except for the hotdog. At the end of the day, this place is a burger joint meant for high school kids.

Easily the best burgers in Newton, it is a small establishment so takeout is ideal if your party is bigger that 2 or 3 people. They have a really tasty "special sauce" that you could put on you meal or get it in little cups to dip fries or onion rings in, food there is moderately priced and all the employees are nice and will answer your questions. Would recommend.

Honestly, This place is a great local burger joint, but recently they went downhill. Fries are less crispy and they mess up orders all the time. today I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with no cheese only to get a grilled chicken cutlet with cheese. Really wish they could just get quality back.

Killer Burger, done right, for less than fast Food prices! The burger was $7. Cooked to perfection. They put the lettuce on the bottom not on the top - smart! Oh yeah, they have A1 sauce. Why is this important? It shows they are not cheap. Other places see A1 as an added cost. Overall, I would go back 3x a week if i lived closer.

Amazing place that's really underwhelming in terms of location size and appearance, but overwhelming where it matters, taste. Parking can be an issue depending on time of day, but well worth the effort. Pricing is about what you would expect, same with portion sizes. Drink selection is alright, with your classic fountain sodas, Snapple, etc. Seating is pretty limited, but there are benches outside.

Love their burgers, but this time I got the chicken sandwich which was very nice. Had smashed avocado which is different. The toasted, buttered bun is so good. They have crisp fries that are still soft on the inside and nicely salted. Their special sauce is a must, too!

I have been a Lee's fan since they first took over the Flippin' Burgers spot in Newton Centre years ago. I haven't been back as much over the past couple of years, but I took a walk there last weekend. It could have been a great experience, but I was with a friend who had her vested service dog with her. The guy running the cash register asked us repeatedly if we would eat outside. My friend stood firm on her rights, and he persisted that he couldn't *make* her eat outside, he's just *asking* her to please not eat inside. It was the most uncomfortable, disappointing dining experience I've had in my life. It's going to be hard for me to ever go back to Lee's now, knowing that they're the sort of place that would allow their service staff to participate in that sort of casual discrimination.

French fries are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their special sauce is a mayo based sauce with some heat. Great on the burgers. Burgers are all good and thick. Their chicken parm is fried chicken goodness with sauce and provolone. Can't go wrong!

Just went to Lee's for the first time after stalking it for a while (my wife loves the salon next door). And I'm happy I did! Great service (shout-out to Sasha who insisted we tried their fries... Would give an A to the regular fries and A+ to waffle fries, those are awesome!). She tried the chicken Ceasar salad, loved it, I tried the Godzilla Burger... That thing is massive. Loaded with goodies, nice kick from the jalapeños. Like 5 guys on steroids. Will definitely come back, now I just need an hour long nap to digest this :P
