Besides the food and service, this place has always been a go-to spot for me and my friends to enjoy delicious hotpot. I have to say that I am officially done with this place as it is completely unsanitary and oddly rude. Waiters and Waitresses stalk the table Im in because they are scared of me not paying or leaving a tip, which i have witnessed them before running after people for not tipping. I sat there uncomfortably and disgusted noticing that behind me on the wall, small roaches run around me and crawl over the table. It’s funny because the waitresses and waiters, noticed it too because as they walk around serving, their eyes would follow the roaches up the wall. Without making a scene, I asked for the check, left a 15% tip and promised myself to never show there again.

Super worth it for the price. The hot pot on the weekends is 25 dollars per person all you can eat. You can order all the meat you want. Also, you can pick your own soup base. There is a lot of variety on the food like a lot of vegetables, dumplings, noodles, and different kinds of meat. Super super worth it!

While I am not a hot pot connoisseur, I know what I like and what I don't. On the plus side this restaurant is a buffet so if you come hungry you will leave full. Pricing is very reasonable, and the staff is fairly attentive. The negatives are that it can get very busy very fast. The broth is not exceptionally flavorful and would rank on the lower side of the hot pot restaurants in the area. Its not a great place to visit if you haven't been to a hot pot restaurant before. However, if you know what your doing and have a big appetite it's worth filling up here. I will be back again.

The smell or the first floor was a bit interesting but once you get upstairs it is better, the server rrecomended his favorite items so we got them. The biggest mistake we made that night was ordering “crispy pig skin” when it came out it looked like a dollar store sponge and when dipped in the hot broth it took on the consistency or a leather shoe. Aside from that the meal was wonderful and I I’ll come back

If i could give a zero star experience i absolutely would because i'm disgusted with the way i was treated in their restaurant. I came in with my blind sibling and significant other and we were seated and made our order. Let me just put out there that im diagnosed with generalized anxiety; however, there was a group of 4-5 waiters standing around the downstairs area of the buffet RIGHT behind us just talking and looking at us, almost as if they thought we were going to dine and dash like seriously?? Our entire meal they were there behind us like literally watching us eat. It made me so uncomfortable and it was unfuriating that my brother is clearly blind and they kept handing out things to him as if he could see. Definitely would not recommend foods ok but who really wants to be watched while they eat ? Or treated like a criminal. Never again.

Many items to choose from and several broths. Buffet was great as we were a large party and all fit easily on the second floor. This also made splitting the check a breeze. I recommend the spicy broth and you can split the pot in half to add a second flavor - we got black chicken. Try the cuttlefish dumplings.

One of the best restaurants in Boston. They have regualr food downstairs and the buffet is upstairs. Very spacious and great food options. Everything comes frozen and you put it in the hot pot. Great variety of dishes and great food. Definitely try this place atleast once when in Boston. Staff can be a bit rushed sometimes because it is busy. But they work hard. Boba is pretty good here too. Would definitely come here again.

A delicious social event! This is my Go-To spot whenever we're in Boston, and it's a quick walk from South Station. Always have a great time here, and don't be afraid to flag down the wait staff for refills! It's an all you can eat hot pot buffet, where you're given a list and asked to pick some broth. We always go with the House broth and the spicy. They then bring out platters of the raw ingredients and it's up to you and your party to cook it! Things get lost and it's hard to keep track of everything, but that's half of the fun. Drinks are by the can or bottle, and feel free to order refills on those and specific ingredients that you liked.

Definitely a good place to go if you don't want to share a hot pot. There are a selection of 12 different dishes with pre-selected ingredients, each with a different theme. I chose the Sichuan style hot pot, which was probably a little to spicy for my palate, but definitely delicious. They also have boba milk tea! Everything was pretty good and super filling!

Great variety of hot pot options! They have everything steak, chicken, wide array of seafood, cow tongue, tripe and a bunch of vegetables and all for a reasonable price. Service was awful!! It seemed like the servers job to avoid every table. Literally the servers would turn around when you made eye contact with them. maybe they were all in a bad mood that night?? But definitely made the experience unenjoyable

We love this place! My husband gets the spicy and I get the herbal broth (still the best broths we've had anywhere), I always take a couple scoops of his spicy and add it to my herbal to give a tiny bit of a kick, the spicy is a little much for me, but it does have a great flavor! They have a great selection, still one of the only hot pot's I've been to that I can get salmon at (no idea why, but I love salmon in my hot pot).

My first time to hotpot and horrible! Service was bad! I needed a refill many times and the waiters were no where to be found. They didn't really interact with us when we walked in to begin with. They didnt bother once to come to the tables to see if we were doing okay, needed anything, nothing! The food presentation was nice when it came out but the broths had no flavor (very bland even the spicy- wasn't spicy, was watery. And a concern the chicken broth light colored broth tasted like a bleach cleaner). Seafood was nasty and slimy as if it was not fresh, has been sitting for days. The waiter right before brining our bill ofered more broth but nothing else amd walked away. All you can eat buffet and we only had one round. Groups of four or more people got more attention. Automatically added their own tip on bill that they did not deserve. As I was leaving they were all in a group hiding laughing on their phones not paying attention to customers. Bathrooms smelled like mold, was dark, and had no soap or paper towels.... Conceded about employess washing hands!!!! Point being - not the cleanist restaurant, not the tastiest restaurant, bad service, not worth coming back any time!

I and my family went there so many times a month. Sometimes service great but sometimes not, like today 11/24/2018. We went there and they’re not busy but the service was very slow , even vegetable not really clean ... when we need the drink or food we have to wait and keep looking around but the staff they just stand in the corner talking to eachother??? Until the time we call them pay and 3 staff standing right in the hallway??? If the service like this please don’t ever ask for more % of tip.

Very unhappy with my experience. Very poor customer service as soon as I walked in and it didn't get better as the meal progressed. Seafood didn't taste fresh. Soup bases were vary bland. The employees didn't even stop by our table until we flagged then down. The bill was just chicken scratch I couldn't even tell u what I was charged for. No sauce bar.

I come here all the time I'm into a big feast. Though, I NEED to ignore the quality of service and just smile away, the service has always been bad from day 1. Shabu shabu is always a great alternative. With great service. But if youre more into eating A LOT, hot pot is the place. Just be sure to ignore the Terrible service. Or as I said, shabu shabu is also very good.

The Hot Pot was amazing! The broth was good and flavorful, the seafood and vegetables was fresh and tasty. They also have an amazing strawberry shake that is made without dairy and taste DELICIOUS!! The staff was very friendly and always checking in to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves. They were also good about notifying the kitchen that we were vegetarians.

If you want to try true Chinese hot pot, don't waste your money, if you want to try Korean BBQ, don't count on here. Every dish is Mediocre, not fresh, the grill is never hot enough for the sizzling grill, the hot pot took 20 mins to boil, and won't stay boiling, the broth has no flavor. Wasted $200 here. Will not recommend to anyone.

there are three floors to this building and plenty of seating so there's never really a wait. there is a large selection of food for both hot pot and kbbq. the food comes out fast but they tend to forget some parts of the order or gives the wrong item. despite this it is very good food for a very good price.

I'm a huge fan of this place. The dipping sauce is unique to this place. High ticket item are one per customer. Even if you try to order more they just won't bring it out. My biggest tip is take your time it's a buffet. Cook each item to your liking. Only thing that need to be over cooked are pork or chicken.

Hot soup today so boring. Waitress didn't do there job, don't add more soup, no more water, no tea, never around just talking and talking in the room. The spoons are not good cleaning. They asked for tips but they don't deliver for good services. I'm very disappointed this place.

One of the worst hot pot places I ever been and I have been to a few. First the price is 24 for dinner which is really good all you can eat. From there everything else is horrible their seafood in the menu are disgusting they are so old and spoiled they smell horrible and all the seafood is covered what looks like dirt. Looks like brown pieces all over almost all the seafood. Also the seafood taste really frezzer burned. As for there meats I had beef tongue I cooked it for less than 4 seconds in the hotpot it was rubber I felt like I was eating piece of tire. The rest of their meat was just ok nothing special. As for their broth horrible as well I had the spicy broth with their house special. As for their spicy broth their was no spice it just looked spicy,my wife hates spicy food she tried the broth and said u sure they gave you the spicy food and their house special broth was from the sink we thought had no flavor tasted like water from the drain. I really dont care how a place looks like usually but this place was so dirty and so disgusting I felt I need a tetanus shot after.

Food quality isn't the best compared to other hot pot restaurants in Boston, but of course, you get what you pay for considering it's all-you-can-eat. Wide selection of foods to choose from. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but was busy at 2pm. The service was good. Any time my plate or glass was empty, I was asked if I would like more. This was my first visit to a hot pot buffet. Normally, I go for dim sum when in Chinatown. I enjoyed the food and was very full when I left.

This is pretty good for the price if you feel like eating a lot. Service is prompt and polite. They seemed pretty good in bringing out your order quickly which is critical to an all-you-can-eat place where you order off a menu. They have a big area for solo diners as well as big tables upstairs.

Hot Pot Buffet is a staple in Chinatiwn. This Chinese style Hot Pot restaurant is open late night til 2am and they have a great variety of ingredients, more so than other more expensive Hot Pot locations. They serve Japanese Plum wine which I recommed! The only downside is that the broth is a bit mediocre in flavor sadly. The service is usually very attentive and I always enjoy my meal here. At the end of your meal you are always given complimentary oranges.

Overall experience is great. Good cuts of meat. Fresh vegetables. You have to do the Korean BBQ and hot pot combo to get your money's worth. Be sure to ask for sauce condiments. The sauce you use will fully enhance your experience. The ingredients you need to ask for are, fresh thai chilis, garlic, sukiyaki sauce, lemon and hot sauce. Add those into their pre made sauce and i will guarantee you wont regret it.

If there is 0 star i will give it to them, we have 4 people eating hot pot, with expired food and terrible service, they even hurt one of my friend's arm while filling the water, and they were asking for 15% service tip and they said it is U.S law enforced to do so. They are treating us like some ignorant immigrant and try to lie for money. Do not recommand.

Nice place. Highly recommended. For about $22, you can get all you can eat vegetables, meat, seafoods, etc. You cook by yourself in a hot pot in front of you, with sauces if you like. Great for a dinner in a cold night. Love it.

Not a bad place for hot pot in Chinatown. With many other options around Chinatown, I feel Hot Pot Buffet is the best bang for your buck. For a set price, there are a lot more variety of food to choose from vs the other standard combo deals at other hot pot places. I seldom leave a review But you must READ this. My family visited this buffet during trip. While waiting for our hot pot order yesterday (August 22, 2018) around 5 pm, a foot-long, chubby rat was running back and forth on the second floor hall. I was freaked out and had to run out of the place. We visited there due to high review reputation but it was not totally reliable. You may eat food which rats tasted already. Also the plates and bowls were not properly cleaned at all. If you swipe the plate and bowl on the table with your fingers, you feel the surface is bumpy which is the remains of food from the previous guests...I requested to replace the plates but all of them were not properly cleaned. They must immediately call the exterminator to get rid of rats. Or I will call to the city office.

Worse experience with them very awful service we didn’t get what we asked for. Waiters treat us as trash. It’s called buffet so you can eat as much as you can but they expected you to eat less if you do more they will throw dirty eyes at you and won’t give you a damn service. I’m good at tip always do at least 20% because a friend of mine working in a restaurant so I know what to do but it won’t help I went there many times with good tip but still got awful service. I don’t recommend this place to anyone I know.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star .... this place used to be a go to spot because of the late hours it is open. But it’s become just a NASTY spot!!! DO NOT GO HERE. The waiters & waitresses are extremely rude, stand there and demand you to tip them if you have not, meat is hard and discolored often (never fresh anymore), service is HORRIBLE, and this place is never clean! The cleanliness has gone down from this place. I’ve had friends tell me about rats, roaches, etc EVERYWHERE . This place is gross please do not go here. Report to the health services board!!! I already have but any one who can help please call as well! Don’t support such a gross place. They either need a wake up call or just close down.

It was alright. I mean, coming from NYC and the Hot Pot Restaurants I've been too can't compare to this place. It was mediocre for what it was. Price was also decent for the experience I had. I also did a combo of the Korean BBQ and that was actually alot better than the Hot Pot. To top it off, there are 3 floors to this place with elevator access for those who cannot walk up three flights or accessibility scenarios. I'm sure it can get crowded. The place is relatively clean but it can be better in those terms. It would be a place I would come back to if I was ever in the area again and if I were to have that kind of craving.

It was great experience over there but they didn't bring everything we wanted. My waiter asked me for a tips which was really awful. I am from New York and I know what to do in restaurants. Usually I don't expect customer service in Chinese restaurants but this place is worst. I have never encountered anything like that in my life.

The hot pot is good if you know what you're ordering. Be careful ordering sausages, whet I ordered them I got cut up hot dogs (i do not eat hotdogs) and we were charged for leftover food.

Good for budget all you can eat hot pot, but there is some unsatisfied. Pros: -easy to find -wide range of foods -can host big party -price is so so Cons: -restroom is nasty, worst restroom ever. For your sake, do what you have to do somewhere else before you go to this restaurant bathroom. -quite busy, so you have to wait for your food. -after round one and two, the waiters are kind of avoid your table.

The food is great and the staff is straight to the point which I love! the lower level is a bit drab and can undermine how great this place actually is. My advice, go there at around 12pm, the earliest, that's when the upstairs dining area becomes available, much nicer seating!
