Breakfast was great except for the 2 glasses of milk for $8.58. I asked about the fancy milk and they reduced it by 1. $4.29 but was informed that this was a one time deal, in future visits it is $8.58 for 2 glasses of milk.

Table was very sticky even after I requested a wipe. What ever it was it ended up on a cashmere sweater. Hope it comes out. They were not busy but it was hard to get servers attention. Good was fine

My daughter and I had sat for about 14 minutes before anyone walked over to greet us at our table. Our french onion soup wasnt warm, which was surprising because the cheese was melted on too. We had the same dinner and then we both got really sick mine was immediate and my daughter became ill the next afternoon.

Not from the area was looking for a place for breakfast. Drove by decided to stop in. There was a wait which made me think this was gonna be a good place. I was wrong. The waiter seemed like he had no clue what he was doing. My gf ordered an ice coffee. When we received it there was no ice. It was still warm. The waiter asked how it was and when told it was still warm he asked do you want ice. That's what she ordered. The food took forever to come out and when it did it was cold and bland. The table they sat us at wasn't even cleaned after the last people.

Prompt and friendly service. The food is expensive considering the quality of ingredients. My kids had the hot dog and fries; $6.99 each for what usually cost $5 or less at similar restaurants. My ~$10 breakfast bagel was rather mediocre. We will not be returning.

I’m sorry to say that I was quite disappointed in my dining experience here yesterday. The table was sticky, and the wood around the booths had a visibly thick layer of dust on it. My guest and I both had breakfast. The eggs did taste fresh, but both of us received potatoes that were barely cooked at all. None of the other food was hot - just lukewarm. I will say that there were only a couple of waitresses working at the time, and they both did a very good job of paying attention to their guests. I have always heard good reviews about this restaurant, but it appears that its quality has gone down. I will not go back.

Kimberly is the sweetest waitress in the world!!! Every time I come here with my kids they always ask for her to be our waitress!!! My kids enjoy the atmosphere here and all the staff, we really look forward to coming here on Sunday with Kimberly. Kimberly is very attentive she knows exactly what the kids want before the even order and always has drinks ready before we even sit down!!! What can I say but this places rocks!!!

Not a fan of this Hearth ‘n Kettle. The food quality is ok, but the service needs work. Similar many other reviewers here, I have found that they tend to serve the larger parties first, even if a smaller party has come in earlier. This happened to us. It took very long for a few kids’ meals to come out, and when we addressed the issue, they just offered us a gift card. Disappointed.

I hate to say this but on September2.2018, my gf and I had one of the worst experiences at this H&K. We ordered our dinners and we waited over 45 minutes despite the fact that we were the only ones there, save for one other person. During that waiting period, the staff was just sitting at the bar, carrying on and playing with their phones. It wasn't until my gf asked them then they made a show of being concerned. Long story short, her scallops were under cooked and my fish was over cooked. We couldn't eat it True, management comped our meals that we couldn't eat, also we never received our dinner rolls,not that in of itself was bad but just reflected the overall uncaring of the staff, and the unsatisfactory customer service. We were very disappointed as this particular location never failed us. Now I'm not looking to get people fired or in trouble but the unusual uncaring attitude is what floored us. Please remind your staff to do better as we were always pleased in the past. We were wondering if this particular location is closing as the staff had this "I don't care" attitude.

Should be no stars. I couldn't get to the review unless I tapped at least one star. There were two in our party. Ten minutes after we were seated a party of eight came in and was seated next to us. We ordered a grilled cheese burger and a bowl of chowder. After waiting forty five minutes the food for the party of eight came out and we were still waiting. We were there over one hour and didn't eat. There were only three other tables of patrons in the restaurant. I spoke to the manager and told her we needed to be someplace and could not wait any longer. She gave us a gift card for $25.00. It will makra good swap it gift We aren't going back.

Food here is good, and they have turkey bacon, which is an all too rare occurance. Atmosphere here is great, and is reminiscent of the Hearth and Kettle on Cape Cod in Orleans, which sadly was recently closed down. Waitstaff is always friendly, and food is consistent. A good morning out, if you don't feel like cooking.

The first few times I went here I didn't really care for it as it was lacking in customer service and the servers was unable to complete the orders as which they were placed and were unable to answer questions accurately as to what was available. On my most recent visit however it was a major improvement if this had been my first visit I would've given 5 stars I only eat here when visiting family in the area however I would have to say the host Katie was the biggest reason for my change from 1 star to 3 she was very personable and knowledgeable of the area a true 5 star in my opinion

Dont be turned off by the old timey feel. The food was pretty tasty and well presented. Service staff were nice and fast. Some small physical things like the height of the benches to the table or the weird cushions in some booths but great otherwise. Also had a "old" smell out front in the waiting area but none of this mattered for the service and food!

I've been to Heath 'n Kettle about half a dozen times and it's a decent place to have breakfast when you don't feel like making it yourself. They have farm fresh eggs, not sure if it's antibiotic and hormone free. That would be nice if they were. The vegetables and other ingredients are fresh and not processed, but the taste is just basic. The pancakes are good, but nothing too exciting. I did like the baked sweet potato hash, that was pretty good. They also have some organic dishes as well as real maple syrup. However, the syrup is an extra two dollars. Otherwise, the prices are reasonable. You get what you pay for here.

Great place for great breakfast. I've never had to wait to sit. They have a full menu but I only come for breakfast and am never disappointed. Perfect screwdrivers start at 10am.

We made reservations for 2 we got there at least 15 minutes early. They didn't have any table ready for us until 40 minutes past our time we made the reservations for and we had to put a $50 deposit on the reservation. Then when we got seated it was another 20 minutes before somebody came to the table fall drinks then when they said for the food it was going to be an hour before we got even out appetizers off old. The Waitresses all we got slammed at 1 oh well you should have been prepared for this after all it was an Easter and we paid for the seating at a certain time needless to say we did not stay they were not apologetic or anything about the situation even for us waited and we had to elderly people with us. If I could give them a zero I would give them.

feels very expensive for the portion sizes, the plate was generously sized but a significant amount of it was just the sides I ordered. the dish was good, don't get me wrong, but it felt unbalanced. however, the staff was very friendly, the establishment is clean, and the atmosphere was quite nice. this is just not a place i would regularly visit because of the proportional prices.

Good food, clean and well maintained restaurant with speedy service. Our waitress was a bit of a grump so I docked a star. I ate here as part of a party of 8. Our last person arrived late (while we were putting in our orderes with the waitress). The waitress acknowledged he was there by making eye contact then rolling her eyes at the late arrival. After she finished with our orders she walked right past him without asking if he wanted anything (a drink, knew what he wanted to eat yet etc). So, he ended up jogging down the hall to catch her before she submitted the order so he could get a meal as well. The waitress did do a good job making sure everyone got a refill as needed and she did check in with us to ensure everyone was enjoying the meal. Overall a good experience.

Went for Easter Sunday had a group of 8. Waited 2 hours for food. My one year old pancakes were cold. My wife ordered the Turkey dinner and the gravy had a film on the gravy from sitting under the lamp to log. And I ordered a cheese burger with fries. Asked for medium rare and it was well done. And with in the fries there was a raw clam. So all in all not the best experience. The waitress was nice, but it seems as they were all set up for failure.

Reliably great service and food quality. Wonderful staff helped our party of 6 settle in with our 3 month old baby. Love that some of us could have breakfast while others had lunch. The cranberry pancakes and eggs were delicious, but the turkey bacon was a bit chewy. Salads were excellent also. This has always been the go-to place when our family gets together in the Weymouth area. Very welcoming, always good food.
