I have ordered twice and had great experiences. The food was delicious and delivered very quickly and by a friendly driver both times. My only complaints would be their website (outdated.. the time it takes to order is painful) and the duck sauce (watery). Other than that I was impressed by the food and happy to find a solid place who I can order from!

I visited your restaurant for the first time in a long time and the fried vegetable rice was awesome. I ordered from your restaurant the second time and I received frost bit vegetable with burned fried rice. I’m not sure what to expect from your restaurant. If the vegetables are frost bit please do not serve them. And if you burn the pot wash it out, nobody likes burnt rice. Please make improvements or my money will be going back to whole food. I would rather support local restaurants. Thank you!

Don't see why this has been getting harsh reviews lately. Still the go-to spot in east Boston late night. Can't go wrong with their Pork fried rice, lo mein, boneless spare ribs or chicken fingers. (Definitely prefer these here than at kowloons, or at the place two doors over) Food is always ready in seemingly 10 minutes or less whenever I call to pickup. Portions are generous and they haven't changed recipes or dropped their standards in the 15 years I've been coming here.

Ordered food late while at the townplace suite hotel, chicken fingers, crab rangoon and beef teriyaki sticks, was delivered fast but everything was overdone, dried out and basically not eatable. We called next morning to talk to manager and never heard from anyone as we could not eat food and wanted refund, we will never go here again.

7.5/10 (for American Chinese) TLDR: Good drunk/ late night food Place is open till 3pm daily, seating for 20+, private bathroom, parking near by, air conditioning, decent customer service. First time I was here, they messed up my order. However this ended up in my receiving free food after they fix my order which is always nice. For an individual I would just recommend the combos, anything more just get the family size if available.

The bathroom is always out of soap very disgusting. Last two times I ate here I got very sick. A few months ago the morning after eatting there I was vomiting and had diarrhea all night and day. Had to go to the hospital. This time more diarrhea. Do not go here.

The first order I tried to put in was with Apple Pay. They informed me that they did accept this form of payment, proceeded to take the money off of my card, then asked me if I had a physical copy of the card to give them which defeats the whole purpose of asking whether or not they took Apple Pay. I informed them that no, I did not. So they voided my order but my money has yet to be returned. I ordered again (due to the fact that I am stuck in the airport over night) using a different card. There were no problems with the second transaction but the food was mediocre. Would not recommend the chow mein.

We placed an order at this restaurant and received it very quickly. Upon opening the box, we saw that the food was disgustingly burnt and inedible. We called back to the restaurant and asked for a replacement of food. We were told that it’d be on the way in another 30-44 minutes. An hour passes, no food. We called back, to which they said that the driver is near. 40 minutes later, no food. We called back. This time, we were basically called liars and told that no one from their restaurant ever got a call from us. They repeatedly told us that we’d never called them. We have screenshots of our entire call log to their establishment. More than 5 calls. Initially, we just wanted a replacement of the food. But after waiting 3 hours; we wanted a refund. Before speaking to the manager, the lady who answered the phone agreed to us that she’d seen that we’d called multiple times. When the manager got on the phone, all of a sudden, their call log disappeared. When we offered to send an email with our call log, he responded “I don’t want to get into that much detail”. Terrible terrible experience. And the food is trash.

Food is always good. They can prepare the food however you like, no msg, salt or oil if preferred. Anything on the salt and pepper menu is amazing,my favorites the salt and pepper shrimp and salt and pepper wings. But the I've tried everything under the salt and pepper menu, just addicting. You can choose whether you want your fried rice to be cooked white, brown or dark color. And they deliver pretty far with no minimum and they deliver until closing time, which ranges from 3:30-4:30am. And they have Spanish speaking employees to help take down orders for spanish speaking customers.

Worst meal I have ever paid for. The sesame chicken was 75% bread and soaked in a red sauce, with the sesame seeds spread over just one chunk of the "chicken". It was just a sponge-like piece of breaded chicken which tasted nothing like it was supposed to. Don't even think about the Lo-Mein, it is very surprising how such a simple recipe was be made to be so terrible. The Chicken Lo-Mein we ordered offered us nothing but stale noodles with un breaded pieces of what was supposed to be chicken but resembled the organs of some other type of animal. Yes the delivery was fast but the presentation, and the actual finish for the food was beyond sub-par. I will never order from this place again, nor will I recommend it to those I care about. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else if you care about what you eat.

I got an angry e-mail from a person who's family has lived in East Boston for four generations because I called their neighborhood ghetto. To be fair my original review was probably not accurate if you frequent the establishment during daylight hours. I'm sure the area is devoid of drunk people at those times and is probably pretty enjoyable save for the bags of trash left out for the trash trucks to pick up. Regardless the ghettoness of the neighborhood may be a matter of opinion and I will stand firm with my opinion because I grew up in Boston and have been to this place over 20 times to eat and have witnessed many things in there. What isn't a matter of opinion is how delicious the SCALLION PANCAKES are!! I've searched far and wide for Chinese restaurants in other American states to have such a dish but most of them have never heard of it. I suspect that the scallion pancake might be a local American Chinese food endemic to at least the Northeastern U.S. but definitely not a national dish. If you go there get an order of scallion pancakes and dip it in the ginger sauce. They are to die for! Only literally to die for if you eat them every day since they are fried...) Also NOTE: I haven't been there since 2015, so if the quality has dipped at all I apologize I was not able to verify. Also read the original review if you want to know more about the food and what its like there at night.

I call this drunk food (though I was sober). It tastes great at 2am and the rest of the day it is ok. For $10 you can get a huge portion of fried rice with 2 sides and a soda. Nothing to write home about, but if you are stuck at Logan airport and hungry at midnight there isn't many options. Staff is nice

The employees were very friendly! Delivery was fast. The rice was not sticky white rice. It kind of tastes like instant rice and undercooked. The beef and mushroom had real mshrooms but three small pieces of beef in the large order. The sauce tasted like it was from a package like instant gravy. The egg roll was good.

Sadly, I'm having difficulty finding a truly amazing Chinese take-out joint since an "incident" at my usual go-to. Great Chef is solid, though, and gets the job done. They're even open til 3am, which is truly a miracle around here.

Experience = Awful. Walked in and got no attention. Girl taking our order wasn't helpful at all. I specifically asked for crab Rangoon and got fried dough stuffed with cheese. Also stated to eat in and served us in take-out plates. Yoi have to get up and get your own food and OWN EATING UTENSILS, which weren't given to us on the tray with our food. Never coming here again and wouldn't recommend it.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the chicken fried rice could have had a little more flavor to it. But I also ordered the spicy salt and pepper wings. Let me tell you guys something. I am southern and I know chicken. This is the best chicken I have had from a restaurant in a long long long time. The taste is unforgettable. It’s not fried but how ever it’s cooked it’s done to perfection. It’s not dry or too hard. Perfect. Welllllllll worth the money.

The worst food I've ever had and I was served out of the trunk of a car in Cancun by a woman who scooped with her hands. Flavorless, plain, everything was covered In a thick sauce that tasted like nothing. Even if I were drunk this would still be terrible. The fried rice was as brown as dirt, legit. Wasn't even cheap. To be more specific the "sauces" looked like colored hair gel and tasted like air. The spiciest thing in the place was the attitude of the kids in corner and they were pleasant.

Beef Nd string beans as everything else flavorless.
