We offer you the information of real people like you who buy the services and products of Chutney\'s Cambridge (Restaurant) in Massachusetts.
Currently this business has a score of 4.1 over 5 and that score was based on 172 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is quite positive, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can think that the score is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to set feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is included in the category of Indian restaurant.
They serve the best Indo Chinese in Massachusetts. It’s so delicious, tasty and authentic. My favorites are veg Manchurian and Chicken Momo !!!
Best Indo-Chinese!
great food, great prices, will always return!
The food is very fresh and the staff is really friendly. You get a lot of food! You can choose a wrap, rice bowl, or naan sandwich. I love how many vegetarian options they have. Highly recommend the spinach paneer!

A solid option in the area for those who like spicy food.
Best Indo-Chinese!
Passable food, Lousy service
A great place to get momos! If you don't know what momos are then you should try it.
Came three times took the order but later did not deliver. Rude behavior
Quick and painless. Good food fast can be hard to come by in Harvard Square. Definitely check it out.
Gives very little food, but they still charge quite a bit. Tasted ok though.
Great concept on the lines of Chipotle with Indian food. Tried veggie wrap and bhel, along with few chutneys. Loved it.. ambience can be improved and a little pricey !!!
absolutely love this place. favorite food to grab in harvard square. i had never seen fast food type indian cuisine and what an excellent idea it was! spinach paneer with naan is incredible, and super affordable
Tried the momos and samosa here...The taste was authentic.. Recommend this place to people visiting the area for a quick bite
Great food.. Nice cooks.. Really good price.. Naan with paneer roll.. Recommended
The best fast food Indian in Harvard sq!
I like Indian food!
Indian Chipotle!
it's like an Indian version of chipotle. The food is tasty imo and the staff is friendly.
Beware overcharged me and didn't give receipt .$18 for 1*lassi,1*samosa and 1* paratha while menu price is 11 plus tax.
Food was cold off the hot plate. Naan was burnt and rubbery. Flavor was good for my paneer saag. Decor is bad. Menu above serving bar was tapped up.
It's Chipotle style Indian food. I was a little disappointed by the portion size until I ate it. It was super filling and I stopped complaining. The mango lasso is also really good and complemented the meal well. I wouldn't eat on the restaurant though. It's cramped and there is prettier seating nearby outside.
Menu prices on google are incorrect so be aware of that. The food was okay. I think slightly overpriced and not amazing, but it’s good enough. The girl at the counter was a bit rude.
Very flavorful food and great service! Nice to see a good selection of Indo- Chinese in addition to traditional indian fast food. Everything we had was delicious - especially the veggie Manchurian.
The service was not very helpful and the food was only okay especially considering its relatively high price.
The best Indian fast food I've had in a long time!
Great for a quick dinner
I almost walked past this place on the way to subway. I am glad i stopped here instead. The food was great. I will come here again to get my curry fix.
9 months ago Love the Chicken Tikka Masala in a bowl. I highly recommend it.
The lassi is good but everything else is pretty spicy and tastes unauthentic compared to Maharaja or Tanjore.
This place servers average Indian food.. The prices are not too high.
Very good food.

Naanini!
Lamb curry nanini was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend.
It was okay. Lady was nice at first but was rushing me & somewhat off putting by the time I paid. Fast food Indian food.
Very bad service, took my orders for Vada Pao and Pao Bhaji and then after ten minutes asked us to choose one as they can't provide both since they didn't have enough Paos. This is the latest instance of their bad service after a few ones before.
Had yummy tasty food after a long long time.. I've been looking for such places since long..
They have brown rice. Woo. My chicken tikka was done well (although I could have used more), and the fire cracker sauce is truly spicy. Another woo! Although, it doesn't have too much flavor. Drop by for a quick, small lunch. If you have a big appetite, get two or go somewhere else afterwards.
Really nice Indian fast food joint.. Tasty and cheap.. Other restaurants in the same for court gives options to everyone.. Must try.. I will be back if I am in the area..
Really good fast food Indian resteraunt
Very good food, wheat or multi grain breads have to be added to the menu
I like it for its idli sambar
Halal options in chicken and lamb available so eat up. The menu mentions what is halal. Really nice food. Had samosa and masala chai.
Chutney's was pretty decent. I definitely like the idea of a naanini and the customizability of your order, but it was hard to decide which sauces would go best without really knowing what each tastes like beforehand. Also the ingredients didn't seem super fresh when I went for dinner around 6. I think the concept is good, and I would probably return, but I'm not craving another.
Very flavorful food and great service! Nice to see a good selection of Indo- Chinese in addition to traditional indian fast food. Everything we had was delicious - especially the veggie Manchurian.
I had an excellent experience at chutneys, the Nanini was just delicious and paratha wrap was also commendable, It just reminded me of Bangalore INDIA where we used to go out with friends and have paneer rolls and others. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Vivek
Fabulous Food
OMG.!! 1 of the best place I ever ran into for Indian Food. Loved it.
Love the Chicken Tikka Masala in a bowl. I highly recommend it.
Tasty food for fair prices.
Chutney's is one of the best places in the Garage and in the Square. It is not that expensive and comes very quickly. Make sure you try the Firecracker sauce; it is pretty hot, but very good. The people who work there are really friendly and it is a great place to get food. It is never that busy and your order will be filled right in front of your eyes!
The most disguiting momo i have ever had i can only taste garlic and chunks of ginger in the momo. My suggestion is plzz reduce the amount of garlic and ginger.
Great lunch spot in Longwood! The food options are very tasty, and the lassee is amazing. Never been disappointed in my lunch!
Awesome fast food..Desi chipotle style..
Amazing food. Its like chipotle but Indian food. The naans with lamb is really good. Chutney is yummy with the food. I would recommend it.
I visit this place for tasty and spicy Indian foods, especially chat and samosa Masala tea and Nepali style momo (dumpling) is delicious.
My first time visit to Harvard Square. Find #halal menu at Chutney. Having Chicken Curry over Rice. A relief to Indonesian stomach a long way from home.
Food is good here.
Customer service is good Brandela call me
"take your standard indian favorites, turn it into a naan panini (or ""naanini"", as they call it), and you've got a great fast lunch in harvard square. in fact, it's one of the best quick lunch places in the neighborhood."
good indian chai with a desi experience.Nothing exceptional. Hangout place for Indian students in Harvard
Unpleasant staff and unhygienic overall
Worst indian food ever. Food was not hot. Tea was too cold and when I asked to warm it they did not do that. samosa chat was cold too. Price is cheap but food quality is bad.
I already love Indian food - but to combine this with the convenience of fast food while still retaining the full effect of the flavors that make Indian cuisine great is a feat that Chutney, IMO, has been able to achieve
Cheap, fast and delicious Indian food. I particularly loved their rice bowls.
Standard Indian fare that had been tailored for the western palate. Nothing exciting but options for Indian food are limited in the Harvard area.
مطعم جيد ، لزم تقول لهم حلال ، مو كل اكلهم حلال .
Authentic Indian spicy food along with the sweetness of mango lassi <3
Great food, quick and friendly service...
Authentic and delicious! Also they are not kidding about their spiciest chutney: super hot and super good.
I had the rice and vegetable curry which was delicious and under 10 dollars. The serving was large and filled me up. I am a true lover of curry and not easily pleased- especially not in America- but this place is pretty authentic.
Chutney's was introduced to me by a friend in 2016. Since then I visited their longwood store once a week, symphony store when I was around college convenience store to do Indian groceries. I didn't knew about this location untill recently located right in the heart of Harvard Square. Some of the must have items are the recently added indo Chinese food selection I love chicken Manchurian and fried rice. My friends love veg Manchurian as well as momos. The usual Indian chipotle kind of plate is nice as well. My favorite is chutney chicken. At chutney's, you can add flavors what you like and that makes the place unique. I don't enjoy their tea that much, I am coffee person anyway. All in all if you are craving that Street style indo Chinese food with strong ginger and garlic flavors. Chutney's is the place to visit.
Seems like a winning combination on paper: take a popular takeout food and convert it to be fast food at a lunch counter. There's only one caveat: it has to actually taste like the takeout food. Chutneys is so close to being good that it hurts. The food isn't objecively awful. But compared to *actual* indian takeout food it tastes like wet cardboard. How do you even screw up chicken Tika masala to be flavorless? CTM is basically butter with a bit of tomato sauce for color, so how does that work? Maybe they're trying to be a healthy option by discarding the excesses that make their cuisine addictive? If so someone should tell them that not even Subway actually does that. It's missing the point of fast food. So yeah. It's edible and the price is ok. But unless your idea of flavor is face-melting spicy sauces then you will be disappointed by your meal here.
Perfect place to grab a quick bite if you are in the neighborhood. Always get the paneer tikka pizza or the samosa chat. they have great masala chai too.
Taste quality and price maintained for years. Good place for a quick bite.
Authentic and delicious! Also they are not kidding about their spiciest chutney: super hot and super good.
Have been here a couple of times in food is good, love their masala chai. Good for quick bites.
Fast service. I like the taste of lamb curry. Great for lunch
Solid Indian "fast food." Good and consistent quality.
Prices are exorbitant. Don't waste your money here. Food is ok. Staff not attentive
We loved chicken tikka paratha wrap with mango lassi
This place doesn't look like much, but don't let looks fool you. This is quality fast food Indian done right. I like the bowls better than the wraps and the food quality is always very good.
Price is the best thing about this place. Chicken Tikka was Okay. Rice cooked appropriately. Not a lot of flavor, but otherwise it was fine. Rice Pudding- holy hell... reeked of heavy chemical plastic smell. I couldn't eat more than a bite without imagining cancer growing inside of me. Avoid this. Figure out the weird chemical smells, turn up the flavor and keep the cost low.. I hope to see your place become insanely popular in harvard square.
Cheap Indian food
This place seserves 3.5 stars.
Delicious rice bowls, wraps and Naan sandwiches. Build your own and add custom toppings and sauces. Good place for a quick lunch/dinner.
The food is fantastic. It is cheap, filling, and fast Indian food. Even my Indian friends approve of this place, so it must be pretty good. When it comes down to it, Chutney's cannot be beat in terms of speed, value, and flavor. Definitely try it.
This place is awesome. Its like Chipotle but for Indian food. Try the chutneys paneer masala and bhel Puri.
Very average. Staff is tacky at times.

Rice was cold. Paratha was hard to chew. Paneer was underwhelming and flavorless and tasted like tomato puree. The place smelled like floor cleaner and bleach - unappetizing atmosphere.
This place brings a smile to my face. Indian fast-food a la the Chipotle model, but waaaay tastier, and super cheap.
Great food, great price, great service! Quick n easy!
It's Chipotle...but Indian food. Fast, delicious, and well priced. If you like Indian food you'll like Chutney's.

I got the vegetable momo platter. The wait was longer than I was told it would be, probably because there was only one person behind the counter, but it was super delicious, so it was worth it. The seating area was clean, and I liked the music that was playing, too.
Great place for different kind of Indian food. It’s chipotle style Indian food which I absolutely loved!
