Sometimes, you just want some really good tasting chicken. If the people selling it are friendly and down to earth that's just a plus. Perhaps it brings the end a little closer but let's be honest, is a life without fried chicken really worth living?

Solid food if you want chicken of any kind. Nothing special or over the top, but you get what you pay for, and it's hot and tasty. If you have a Northeastern student ID, it's also tax-free which is an added bonus.

I am a student at Northeastern and this is my second time going here. The woman at the cash register was very rude to me. And, the grilled cheese wasn’t that good. I don’t like it when people are randomly rude, especially in the service industry. I was a waiter, cook, and delivery driver for years and I would never treat someone like that.

Really good sandwiches, and not just their chicken! Sometimes it gets a little hectic; you need have a strong voice and a strong resolve to place an order. The atmosphere isn't entirely their fault but I have to give it four stars for it.

The TKO is the least healthy thing to eat on campus. It's well worth every calorie. I personally like the southwestern variant of the TKO better, but I've heard it argued both ways. If you're here for breakfast, get a "cholesterol" or two. They do egg sandwiches pretty well.

this is in response to the person who thinks they are racist here. I am a hispanic male who went to chicken lous throughout my entire 6 years in Northeastern. I never witnessed or experienced any racism here. If you waited longer it could have been because sometimes what you order takes longer to come out. You also have to be be ready for your food and see who was in front of you and who was behind you. They get a bunch of people through out the day. I wouldn't be able to keep track. The food is the best and service is great. They actually know all the athletes on the sports teams, a large portion of them being african american. I know they knew almost everyone on the football team.

Food is amazing and really consistent, but the ordering process is an absolute disaster. There is no organization at all. Orders are yelled out and you’re not given any type of order number. If you order a common item they simply start yelling them out and you’re left to wonder if you’re taking an item from someone who ordered before you. I didn’t take a sandwich since others had ordered it before me, but then was yelled at by the lady for “my headphones being too loud” when in reality they have no idea who to give items to first. I love your food but please make ordering less stressful.

The food is always freshly made and extremely affordable ($7-8 for a footlong) compared to competitors. There is literally more meat than bread in most sandwiches. Half of a sandwich works as a lunch, and the other half can be dinner. Best value in the area IMO, looking at places like Popeye's or Qdoba just makes me compare them to Chicken Lou's, and for the $ it's literally the best place. Southwestern TKO is amazing.
