I had the buffet today and it was excellent! For $10 you get a very fine selection of Indian food,plus fresh bread and desert. You can not go wrong.The buffet is Tuesday through Saturday.

Nice, cosy Indian restaurant in Maynard. The staff and very helpful and friendly. The food is good too. Unlike most Indian restaurants they cook according to the Bengali tradition so even though the menu items sound familiar they can sometimes taste a little different. Also has a good lunch buffet most days in addition to the a la carte menu.

They were the buffet place. Everyone went during lunch for the buffet. They are no longer the buffet place (they say only for the summer, well if they survive without business this summer, we'll check them out again). Myself and my party, as the others whom came in after us, were like deer in headlights when we walked in. If it wasn't pouring out we would have left. They changed on a Friday from buffet to table service only. They didn't hire additional staff for the change, and they fed us on prison trays. Did I mention this was a buffet place? Now they are small portioned amounts. To top it off, service was slow, slow, slow. So from hungry happy people, to disappointed, to angry hungry people in about 30 minutes.

Really good authentic Indian food. Relatively small menu but they knock everything out of the park. Only drawbacks is it is not ideal for takeout and that it is slightly overpriced. But this is probably the best indian food in the area.

It was okay nothing I’m going to rave about. I love Indian food. Well okay I like 1 dish Witt the same bread and side every time. Anyway I get the same thing, the Vegetable Korma is okay at best but eh. I have had mango lassi many times and each one tastes almost the same if not close. However this one had a bit of like a sour taste? I don’t (hope not) think it was bad. I’m assuming (hopefully) that is just a spice or something they put in. However they were very nice and gave us a free Kheer for free.

We got take out last night and it was all really good. Our choices weren't particularly adventurous (Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag, Malai Kofta), but it tasted fresh and delicious. So glad to have good Indian food back in Maynard!

I would not recommend this place. today I visited the place with my wife and 9 months baby. Ordered Goat Korma and nun. Korma meat was not cooked well. We were not able to tear off the meat to eat. The more surprising part is this. I informed the waiter and showed the meat. He did nothing and charged me in full. :D He not even told sorry.

Most reviews are from previous ownership. We ordered takeout - three different dishes - but all with the same high tomato sauce/ low curry flavor. Very disappointing

Nice environment and excellent and friendly service. We went for lunch buffet and the variety wasn't great, but it was enough. Food was generally tasty but with unusual undertones, such as a somewhat sweet tikka masala chicken. In fact, in general dishes were sweeter and blander than I'm accustomed to for indian fare.

This place is phenomenal! We had paneer pakoras, tandoori chicken, goat curry and (by accident) chicken curry. Everything was awesome and totally hit the spot. I had zero expectations walking in and had such a great meal. I will come back again and again. Highly recommended!!

They're take on indian food is a bit different than any other place I've been--very good though. The surroundings are polished, and the waiters are attentive. I'm giving four stars because the price competition is so tough for Indian food--Even though prices are reasonable at Savoring, other great places are slightly cheaper. Lamb vindaloo here is hands down the best I've had anywhere.

Extremely DELICIOUS food and THE BEST customer service. You can't go wrong either way. I've ordered a number of times before at work (King's Ink.) We always order main dishes, appetizers and some sort of naan. One time my tikka masala accidentally came with chicken which is cheaper instead of the lamb I ordered (still tasted phenomenal as always) and Subhas told me to call back next time I ordered. Called to order again a week later and they didn't charge me for my tikka masala!!! Definitely amazing customer service!!!

The food here was excellent, but we came for a date night, and it was a little bit of a hole in the wall, but not in the romantic way. In the future, we will definitely be picking up some takeout from here to eat at home, which is such a great option to have! It's such a relief to have found someplace nearby with delicious Indian food nearby.

I have ordered their food probably +/- 6 times. This last time they told me an hour, but it became two. Since I had a 7 year old to feed and it was a weekday, I tried to cancel it. The driver turned around and delivered the food anyway for free. I did tip the appropriate 20%, but they could have eaten the food themselves, donate it, or thrown it away. The food is always amazing.... but the fact they gave it to us was jaw dropping. I would eat in or order take out anyway from them, but that gesture was so flipping great, I will support them any way I can

This place was buns. The samosas were caked with oil and were really greasy. The oil didn’t seem hot enough when they cooked it. I ordered a spinach dish and it was mushier than a dust bowl when it rains. The chicken vindaloo has too much tomato but wasn’t inedible. The chicken curry that we got was flavorless. I had been there once ten years ago, and I was very disappointed. Overall a very bad restaurant.

I have never had a bad dish here! My only problem is that no other Indian restaurant can compare to this one. This is my go to for dinner out with girlfriends, dates, or takeout when I don’t feel like putting on pants. I even brought my family here to celebrate my birthday, do yourself a favor and check it out!

Been here twice now. Entrees for dinner was super tasty, super fresh, and reasonably priced. Where else can you get goat meat for dinner? All you can eat lunch buffet was super tasty, super affordable, and pretty fresh. The naan bread with the buffet was hot, crisp, and delightful. The server is polite and attentive, if a little quiet. I've seen the owner around both times I was here.

An excellent establishment. I have ordered over a dozen times the past year or so, and never once have had an issue with the food or the service. The food is excellent - I make it a personal mission to bring anyone visiting Maynard here, and I've never had a guest be anything less than satisfied. All of the staff I've interacted with have been super friendly and always a pleasure to chat with. Lastly, I am not gluten intolerant, but a friend is. She has a severe allergy and has had food here twice with no issues. The most recent time we ordered they had no issue swapping gloves and utensils to prep her food, and delivered it in a separate bag. Everyone here is a class act, this place deserves your business.
