This Restaurant is classified in the category of Barbecue restaurant.
I grew up in Texas and have a deep and abiding love of Texas BBQ. As you may know, Texans tend to be a bit "patriotic" with regards to everything Texas. I absolutely love this place and would definitely rate it in the top 3 (possibly the top) BBQ places I've been to... Texans love brisket and the brisket at this place is buttery and flavorful with the perfect smoke ring.
Best BBQ in New England and quite literally in the USA in my opinion. I’ve eaten BBQ in upwards of 40 states, including Memphis, St. Louis, NC, SC, VA, TX, and many more. You would be hard pressed to find better anywhere you go. It’s a BYOB restaurant. Pro tip: stop in to Tree House Brewing on your way there to get some of the best beer Massachusetts has to offer. Yankee Spirits is also a good choice to bring your own as well. Always busy so be prepared to wait for a bit. The line moves fast though, so don’t let it intimidate you. Limited outdoor seating is nice during the summer months! They do catering as well for any size party! From a few small trays, to rolling up first thing in the morning with smoker in tow for a whole hog roast. Highly recommended!
Food is awesome and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. The wait, yikes. Prepare yourself for the wait. Very casual atmosphere with a BYOB policy. Have a beer while you wait. You will wait, might as well enjoy a beer. Treehouse brewery is fairly close by, and if you go there, you will wait more! But, they're both worth the wait...
Great stop. Guy at Tree House Brewery recommended this place. BYOB so we brought out Tree House beer in!
Best I have had in this area. Great service too.
Excellent food. If you're planning on a quick bite or takeout make sure to call ahead. We ended up having to wait at least 30 minutes for a two person order during the lunch rush hour.
Is the food so good that it’s worth the wait? Probably. However it’s incredibly unsettling waiting in a single file line while the one cashier takes phone orders and waits on customers. Food is delicious yes but efficiency is lacking.
Some of the best barbecue I've found anywhere--not just good for new england, but actually better than most barbecue I've had in the south.
Great food, great service. Wonderful hidden gem, a must for anyone passing through. I say again, GREAT FOOD.
This is our fourth spring visiting this restaurant we drive 40 minutes out . I don’t know what happen the first two times the food was pretty good However these last two visits have been drastically different unfortunately . Last time we were there the ribs were dry but the beef was good . This time the ribs and the beef were both dry and to be very honest and grits seem to be the only thing we didn’t have a problem with . Is there food delicious ? yes . it taste wonderful but that absolutely means nothing if the meat is chewy and dried out . I hate that I can no longer recommend this place ...
Food was great. Place is small and it was very warm in there.
Was a beautiful dinner, enjoyed with friends in a cool place. Thanks the salmon was great.
Wow the brisket today was perfect. Amazing dry rub on the outside but super fatty and moist meat slices. Not one bite was dry. The mac and cheese had a slightly salty taste that I absolutely loved and I'm pretty sure it came from the type of cheese they used for the mac. Well worth the wait and seating clears up by the time your food is ready every time
Food was amazing. Perfect smoky flavor on the pulled pork with some nice spicy bark on many pieces. All of the sides were fantastic. Plus on Saturday night there was a dude playing legit blues guitar. Great experience.
it's BYOB BYOB BYOB it never tells you that so bring some brews and you won'tfood have to drink the soda (which is pretty good soda) service(well the order taker) was pleasant and efficient food is GREAT get the brisket reuben or maybe anything enjoy!!!
Excellent BBQ, place can get really packed, I recommend using there online ordering system and pickup is a breeze. Tons of in-house made sauces and oh man so much variety, definitely coming back again!
Really nice food, layo8t of tables could do with some more thought
Food is great. Order online and pick up if you can because it is usually packed full when I go there.
Well, it wasn't the worst BBQ I ever had. All the meat was very dry, and their VERY sweet sauce didn't help much. They also burned the entire batch of onion rings that came with our order. Just all around not great food.
The Best BBQ in New England. Cucumber salad and potato salad is amazing! Brisket or ribs don't even need sauce. Truly great barbecue. Worth it!!!
Great bbq. A must stop if in the area
These guys do a great job with BBQ! The food is always top-notch and the portions are generous. If you are in a hurry (which I do not recommend) you can call ahead and place your order. On top of the excellent food, the experience is always made better by chatting with the other patrons... I've never met a grumpy person eating good BBQ!
Excellent food oh my goodness great people
Amazing food (somehow sold by the pint) at very friendly prices. But of a small place for eating out, but great for takeaway.
Amazing! Don't miss it! Stop here for fantastic food, really fun atmosphere, and friendly service. Mmmm it smells SO good here
Service exceptionally friendly and helpful. BBQ itself more or a mixed bag. Pork was delicious. Brisket and chicken were a little dry. Collection of BBQ sauces were great. Sides we're all great.
Wow! Ordered the 3 meat platter of pulled pork, chicken, and brisket and this place lived up to the hype. Very good. Very filling. The 'fillings' (sides) I ordered were the mac and cheese and collards. I never eat collards as I am not a big fan of the them however I wanted to try them here. They were great! Will be coming here more often when passing through on 84
If you love smokey flavor, pulled pork, beef brisket,a rack of ribs and other smoked varieties that come in a very generous portion... you have to plan on visiting this restaurant!! When I looked around everyone was enjoying the meal they had and it was a very friendly happy atmosphere! The menu is very simple It has something for everyone From sandwiches to platters and they offer daily specials. If I am not mistaking on every table they have 6 of their own sauces for everyone to use. From a bland sauce to a hot sauce... everyone at our table tried them all!! 2 people at our table split a rack of ribs and ended up taking them home for lunch for the next day. Another person took home a platter dinner for the family for supper that night and just ordered a sandwich while we were there. When you walk in don't be overwhelmed by the line LOL I sort of wanted to turn around and leave myself!! It goes by very fast!! Alot of people take out or call ahead. So if you go .... have fun and enjoy your meal !!!!
Simply the best BBQ in the Northeast. Compares to the best you ever had in Kansas City, Memphis, Texas. All great, but the brisket!!!! And don't overlook the sides (carrot slaw, collards). A funky setup, but trust the system - it works.
Excellent. Not much else that needs to be said about this place.
Fast and friendly service. Amazing bbq and side dishes! Always a must when in the area.
Being from Nashville, I'm no stranger to good BBQ. Having family in Texas, I'm no stranger to good BBQ. This is EXCELLENT BBQ. I have never had brisket this tender. It literally falls apart with a plastic fork. The dry rub they use on the pork and brisket is seasoning enough, but their sauces are also exceptional. The potato salad is unique and tangy, highly recommended. The only undetwhelming item I tried were the BBQ beans. It was raw black beans in a thin sauce. The texture left much to be desired and the flavor was, well...nonexistent. Otherwise, the meal was excellent. My wife and I split a two-meat platter and purchased an extra side of mac & cheese (also amazing). We were both stuffed to the gills. Portion sizes are generous. Overall a fantastic experience. If I'm ever back in Sturbridge, I'll be coming back.
Got the pulled pork today and it tasted like gasoline. My buddy got the same thing and said the exact same thing. Was inedible. Very disappointed as I heard great things about this place
Very Pricey.Quick Service.Good Portions.
The pulled pork and brisket were amazing. The portion size was very generous, I brought home dinner for the following night with my leftovers. We will absolutely return
Cannot recommend this place enough. If you're up in that area and love BBQ you will not be disappointed. There meats were excellent quality cuts and their rubs, sauces and smoking technique is on point, fill of flavor and just plain awesome. I highly recommend trying their Brisket Reuben, best Reuben sandwich I've ever had, it's massive and extremely tasty. Grab some to go and check out the Treehouse brewery not too far from their. Beer and delicious smoked meats make for a wonderful afternoon.
Great BBQ!!! We came there at about 6 and waited in line for about an hour. When we left there was a line. Let me tell you... it’s worth it
Loved the BBQ, great place brought our own Treehouse beers, highly recommended. So far best BBQ I've had in New England.
This place is hands down one of the best bbq places I have ever been too. The atmosphere is great and the food is fantastic. From the brisket to the cucumber salad you can’t go wrong. If you looking for a local place that can’t be beat this is the place for you.
This place is incredible! Fantastic smoked meats cooked low and slow but the service is fast. Generous portions of smokey greatness. Seating is limited but tables turn over quickly. Only thing was we felt we had to eat quickly but if we are in the area, we will eat here again.
Food is awesome. Great staff. Great live music.
Amazing food. The best BBQ I have ever had. Seriously. And the portions are out of control. Even the sides are amazing. Only small complaint would be to have a more efficient form of taking orders. There was just one person taking phone and in person orders and a line out the door.
I was searching for BBQ joints in Mass and saw this place was on the top of every list I read. Now I know why! The atmosphere is awesome, when you pull in you can smell the hickory smoke coming from the back. The building is small, but large enough for the line to wrap around the center when busy. I stopped in around lunchtime on friday and it was busy, but worth the wait. I loved that they serve on trays will biodegradable paper products, great idea. Loved the brisket, ribs, slaw, potato salad and cornbread. Excellent place to eat BBQ!
We stopped in on our way home from a weekend camping in the berkshires with friends on a Sunday afternoon. It was a great find. This is real southern BBQ up north. Im a big fan of Memphis, rural Arkansas, and Texas bbq, and this is definitely the closest I've found in New England. Fair warning, this place is small and gets packed! The line moves quickly though and folks are pretty easy going (hard not to be at a bbq joint!), plus the anticipation as you wait in line and smell the goodness makes it taste better! I think you can order ahead of time, as I saw a few people walk in and pick up food. There's a little bit of outdoor seating, but if you come in a large group you probably can't sit together.
Extremely disappointed with a take out order I placed today. Told “everything was included” in pork dinner for four & got home to see no bar b q sauce in bag or no rolls? Who eats pulled pork with no sauce! The St Louis ribs were unedible...a hard burnt surface that had zero meat on it. I threw it out. The coleslaw was loaded with vinegar?? I mean, do they taste it? The cornbread was ok once I softened it in the microwave, but not fresh. The potato Salad earned the one star! Clearly they are overwhelmed and sacrificing quality. Such a shame!
Great food! Great atmosphere! Tiny place but flips fast.
This place is the BEST in New England!! I have been to lots of BBQ places, this one RULES them ALL!! Go, you will not be disappointed. I will be back, and anyone else who goes will too.
All I have to say is Wow! This place has such good quality BBQ and the ribs are to die for! Its BYOB so if you went to Tree House Brewing before you can bring in whatever you bought. The price food the food is on point. 10/10 would come back again!
Picked up the single meat platter (brisket). Brisket was perfectly tender and flavorful. Coke slaw was yummy (slightly vinegary style) and while the corn bread was dryer than usual, it was very flavorful.
Great brisket, pulled pork, potato salad and black eyed pea salad. We are from Georgia where there is great BBQ. This ranks right up there with some of the best. Love the atmosphere and music too.
Best beef ribs on the east coast. Very friendly staff looks like they love their mission of feeding customers fine BBQ.
Fantastic BBQ!!! I highly recommend ordering ahead of time as the line goes out the door. The brisket is outstanding with a flavorful crust and juicy meat! Ribs are outstanding and I prefer them with the mustard sauce, but they have plenty in house sauces to choose from.
Wow, just wow. Hush puppies and burger and collards were amazing. Everything else looked and smelled great. I don't live in the area, was just passing through and stopped to try based on high recommendations, will make the effort to stop on my way through from now on. Probably seeing back through tomorrow. There is always a line (sign of how good) but you can call ahead or order online and the food is ready quick once you order.
The blackened end piece was absolutely perfect; maybe the best bites of brisket I've ever tasted (and I've been to Texas several times and all over the South and Southeast). The fried chicken, also, is a candidate for best-on-the-planet. Can't recommend BT's more highly.
Awesome food! Great people, too!
Savory food and sauces! Be sure to bring your own beer.
Unfortunately I forgotten to take pictures if my brisket, but that is because I scarfed it down, it was just too damn good! The mac and cheese was on point, and so were the BBQ beans. The burnt ends of the brisket is a taste my taste buds wont forget. Being from Texas I was told to check this spot out that it stood tall with TX BBQ standards. And let me say this was phenomenal food. No matter where you come from, this is how BBQ is done. Wish I could have tried the ribs.
Absolutely phenomenal. Quantity is large. Quality is even better. So is the price Definitely would make the long haul back up there to eat there again.
This time i got mini brisket! Always good! So tough to decide!
5 stars every time. We drive over an hour for the food. Worth every mile and penny.
We have heard nothing but great things about BT's. So we decided to give it a try. Walked in, very nice atmosphere. Line wasn't too too bad.. would have moved a lot faster if the one person taking orders and processing payments wasn't also answering the phones and doing payments for walk in customers. Service was good considering how much volume they do. With that said the food tasted OK, I had the St Louis cut, but the rack I received was a full spare rib..not sure if they ran out but whatever. As far as the quality of the food goes, you could tell they are just pumping out BBQ with little attention to detail.. the ribs I had had zero trimming done to them, skirt still on and membrane still attached. Also we got the pulled chicken sandwich, chicken was dry and had very little seasoning on it. Its more of a novelty place if you have never had BBQ before, but if you are looking for good BBQ don't waste you time here.
I do not give out many 5 Stars, but this place is excellent. Pulled pork, delicious and not greasy, the bark on the brisket was AMAZING! Collards were very good, mac and cheese was a bit dry and I did enjoy the potato salad. I like that you the have a side sized side lol, you can try a little bit of something and not worry about wasting it if you don't like it. Meat Heat sauce was my favorite, there was another one with a slight kick to it, forget the name, also very good; mix them together, even better! Place gets busy quick, went on a week day, once we ordered and sat down, it was busy at 3:30! If you're in the area, you really should stop in.
Great place, great food, friendly staff. My first time here, got the beef brisket sandwich. Melts in your mouth and good portion. Many choices for sauces, i went with sweet.Hush puppies were really good, but I passed on the onion rings...too greasy for my liking. Not for dieters.
Best BBQ in New Englad. Can't get enough of it!
The brisket it's amazing. Line can be long but it moves very fast. Worth the wait
Phenomenal BBQ! The brisket is my favorite thing on the menu. You can usually expect a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it. You’ll see plenty of folks enjoying the Tree House cans they just picked up as it’s a BYOB. Friendly staff and outdoor seating make this place a can’t miss spot if you’re in the area.
The Most Amazing Bbq ever!!! Try their Brisket Sa8
Best damn BBQ in the state, lines are killer though - order ahead if you can.
Great food at a reasonable price
Absolutely some of the best brisket I have had. I used to live in the south and I can fully state that this BBQ is fantastic. I don’t know about their other meats but the brisket is piled high and is top notch!
I went on a double date. My friend and his girlfriend got their food in no time while I waited 50 minutes and watched online and take out orders fly out the door. My company finished their food 25 mins before I finally asked for a refund. Left hungry. Be ware, dine in customers are not a priority.
Not a bad little BBQ place. Brisket was as good as advertised. Wings were amazing. Highly recommend. I wasn't a fan of the beans and Cole slaw. To much vinegar
Enjoyed a nice, outdoor lunch here today. They had a large selection of meats, sauces, and sides. My husband had the big brisket sandwich with jalapenos and pickled onions. It was excellent and everything he hoped for. I had the smoked wings with dry rub. They were very crunchy and flavorful. I wish they had ranch/ BC dressing to go with them, though. Other general logistical complaints: tiny parking lot and no baby changing table.
I have no idea how this place can be lower than 5 stars! The food is absolutely amazing! Be prepared to wait in a very long line, though. Their parking lot is small and they get busy very quickly. Well worth the wait, you won't be disappointed here! Food is delicious, service is awesome!
Good food. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Full house when I was there.
This is the real deal. The service is amazingly hospitable considering the crush of people constantly marching through. The other reviews aren't exaggerating regarding the food. Be sure to get some jerky for the road. You'd have to really be in a fighting mood to find fault.
Absolutely amazing. Check out the fried chicken first Tuesday of each month.
Ok, so this is a mixed review. The barbecue was truly amazing. Haven't had anything better since moving up north. Their fixings however, left much to be desired. Overall, I give them a 4 though, so well worth your time to check them out.
The best BBQ in New England! It never disappoints.....
Amazing hidden gem. Bring a can of your freshly bought Treehouse inside to enjoy the best BBQ and the best beer Massachusetts has to offer!
Best brisket around! Candied bacon is delicious. A great stop especially after a visit to Treehouse!
I heard a lot of good things about this place. I was happy with some of the items but a little disappointed with others. The collard greens were awful. They had way too much vinegar on them. The ribs were also not great. They were a bit dry and chewy. The mac and cheese was amazing, one of the best I've ever had. The pulled pork and the brisket were hands down, absolutely the best I've ever had. I did not try the bbq sauces because i wanted to taste the meats as is. The portions i got for the pulled pork and the brisket were massive. They definitely have great food here, but i think there just needs to be more taste testing by whoever made the collard greens and ribs.
Get there early on the first Tuesday of the month for the fried chicken. It’s absolutely worth it. The rest of the month, their standard offerings are amazing
Best BBQ I have ever had in my life. This place is BYOB so make sure you bring some great beer to drink while in line and chat with the other friendly guests here. Extremely busy place is completely worth the wait if you follow the rules, your experience will run smoothly. I even made a beer trade in line!
For what B.T.'s lacks in space, they make up for with PUNCHING smoked meats. Everything on the menu is delicious. Literally order whatever, it will be amazing. If I feel like some amazing pulled pork, brisket, or ribs, guess where I'm going? B.T.'s! (Also try the Collard Greens, damn they are good).
Awesome food, great price! Always busy, but PACKED on weekends. If you're in a hurry, use the app (or call) and order ahead.
Best BBQ I've ever had. Great portions at the price, great deal. Hands down fantastic place.
Drove from Buffalo NY for this. The bark on the Brisket was so good. Mix the house sauce and meat heat sauce to rock your world. Get you some!
one of the few best BBQ establishments in the northeast. Although we have few, this one really stands out. everything I had here was great but I"m especially partial to the Mac n Cheese. Simple things like the pickled carrots and the "hell"fish are done very well. The fact that it's located down the st from Treehouse Brewery is a HUGE bonus.
You will wait in line. You will be happy you waited. To-go? Don't forget sauce! If you're eating here, there's an array of sauce options at the table, no need to decide at the counter, but do grab some spicy pickles. I've never seen this place not crowded, but the staff manage to maintain a cheerful and welcoming attitude and the food is satisfying comfort fare. Just get there before they run out of brisket.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Gets busy a lot, but doesn't take away from anything. Great staff as well and very friendly.
The single most consistently outstanding food establishment I've ever been to. Was introduced back in 2013 by a local. Now I go out of my way whenever I'm headed westbound on the pike. I suggest you do the same!
Awesome bbq, great service, they might run out of some meats but plenty of other options
Great pork! Homemade sauces are awesome. Usually busy but worth the wait. I suggest online ordering, they will send you an ETA to pickup and it is usually spot on.
The BBQ is delicious. It is very tasty due to the fact in the pork. It had a bit more than I prefer but it was excellent.
Line was long but organized. Was worth the wait!! Best ribs I've ever had!
Amazing food if I could give 10 stars I word. Definitely word recommend
Grab your Tree House and head over to B.T.'s. The line may be long, but goes very quickly and everything is very worth the wait.
Real deal BBQ! Good size portions and variety of meats.
The food was worth the wait. Don't get scared by the line, it moves quick.
Great spot. Not too often you can get real southern BBQ in New England. I would highly recommend it to anyone!!
Thank you, Kyle!!! I celebrated my 70th birthday party, on June 22, with ribs from BT's- and drove from the Cape to get them. I had been telling guests they were in for a treat... 4 racks of pork ribs... 1 rack of beef ribs (this was saved for only a few!)... two large orders of Sticky Tips... It was perfect. The food is only surpassed by the people at BT's- Thanks for a great party!
Always great food. Should consider a second register, or a second cashier to speed the line up or just to handle the phone which seems to be constantly ringing.
Just a fantastic enjoyable time thank you.
Parkings very bad, seating is a nightmare and the food wasnt that great, brisket was mostly char and fat.
Stopped at this little goldmine after seeing other great reviews on our way up to Maine and SO glad we did. Had the 3 meat platter and their special of the day, shrimp & grits FRIES. ... They were amazing!!
This is possibly the best BBQ I've ever had! Brisket, Ribs, burnt ends, amazing sides, mac & cheese, collard greens, potato salad and lots more. The place is so good the line is often out the door into the parking lot. It's well worth the wait!
Perfect spot to hit up after a tree house run. The three meat platter was huge and delicious. Pork ribs were the highlight.
Amazin BBQ. Great "little old place". They know what they do well and they consistently deliver the best food day after day, year after year. They will stay on my must visit list, forever.
This place is THE best southern BBQ around. Cannot even explain how good. Parking lot can get pretty jammed sometimes. 100% recommended!
Good hearted staff. Dedicated to satisfy your mouth. Not a good place to go on rainy days the process is hard when everythings drenched. These guys now how to move the meat
If you pass this place on your trip, make this stop. I live far away from this place, but I always stop off here if I am near the area. Amazing.
Awesome barbecue! Nice little outdoor dining area easy to get to!
The bbq is worth the wait. Always packed but always delicious meats and sides. Bring your own beer!
Their brisket, french fries, and Cole slaw are the best! They are always busy so call ahead and place your take out order so when you get there they let you skip the line and go to the counter. The owner is extremely friendly and you can tell that he loves what he does.
I grew up in the south and miss and appreciate authentic BBQ. I am thrilled to find something in the NE that is comparable to the BBQ I'm used to. It is simply amazing! The wings are the best thing on the menu. Smokey, flavorful, tender inside and a nice crust on the outside. Perfect meal after a stop at Treehouse Brewery!
BTs is the best BBQ I've had in New England. The meat had the perfect texture of fall of the bone, the pork was the perfect amount of smoky and the brisket was juicy. Also one of the few places you can get Beef Ribs which is fun. Sides were amazing as well. Great fries with homemade ketchup and killer slaw. Delicious homemade sauces as well
Great menu, great food, and great service!
Amazing food! Worth the wait and the price!
My wife said this place had better barbecue than places she has gone in the south. I don't typically like sweet barbecue sauces, so I was thrilled that they dry rub and smoke all of their meat. It was delicious and I loved having the option to add a little bit of spice with the variety of sauces that they offered.
Bbq is awesome, but be prepared to wait... Good things take time.
A lot of fat in my plate and I ordered pulled pork and got chicken instead and asked to swap it and I was told no. Also they said that they have no mayo but had things with mayo in them. Hmm please address this.
If you go there be prepared to wait in the line but the food is great
I absolutely love this place I bring my family here all the time they have the most amazing BBQ. Pulled pork brisket chicken ribs you won't be disappointed. They have their own homemade jerky. Looking for BBQ in Central Mass this is 100% the best.
Best of the best bbq joints. Been going here for 3 years now never disappointed
Got their "whole hog" meal for take out. Absolutely delicious!. Well seasoned, not dried out, some of the best I've had. Make sure to grab some of each sauce to fin your favorite. I'm torn between the "meat heat"( spicy), and sweet. Definitely worth a trip
Delicious BBQ!!! The menu is fairly large for the type of restaurant. Always a line so possible consider calling ahead so you won't have to wait.
This is the most amazing smokehouse on earth. Everything is done right every time so much consistency everytime I've gone it's been perfect. The portions are huge and you always want more and they're not over priced at all. I've never had better pulled pork or ribs anywhere else in my life. Will be back very soon!
Phenomenal brisket and french fries! Love all of the sauces, especially the "Meat Heat" vinegar sauce. Might be a little hot and packed on some summer days but the meat is worth the wait. I wish there was more than one bathroom but it is a small spot. Friendly staff and be sure to bring your own beer, preferably from Treehouse.
Amazing food, must stop if you're in the area!
Excellent bbq some parts a little too smoky for me so i just ate around it, the bacon bites/bits you have to try-sweet, but peppery. Go early or very late if not the wait is long.
Best Brisket period. Seasonal sides and staples are all great especially the carrot slaw. Staff and service aim to please!
Could not find a better smokehouse in the area. The meat was incredible, the sauces zingy and sides generous. Expect a bit of a wait and sometimes trouble with seating but it is worth it!!!!!
B.T.'s catered a company outing for us and everyone was impressed. I had pulled pork and brisket. The brisket was hands down best I've had! Most of us ate so much we had to be rolled out. I'm going to bring the family out to Sturbridge!!!
Big fan of this BBQ. Brisket is moist, pulled pork is delicious, ribs are tender and cooked right on. The lime to order is the biggest problem! Don't forget to stop at tree house first and grab some beer to have with it.
Great food! I recently got into smoking meat
They have excellent bbq. We tried pulled pork, spareribs, and brisket. The sexy grits and collards were great too. Black beans were boring and I wish at least one of their sauces was a thicker one. There piedmont sauce was pretty authentic for New England.
Food was amazing but the checkout process took forever! It took almost a minute to just charge my card. Huge line builds up because of it
Great BBQ! Prices are reasonable and you get lots of food!! Be prepared to wait though. It's very busy. It's counter service. Once you order you can grab a seat or wait for one to become available. You can't do it until after you order. There's usually one available before your food is ready. I recommend stopping. It's worth the wait!
I mean it's amazing. You can't go wrong with anything you get
Excellent Food. We waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes on a Sunday night. I suggest calling the restaurant for take out because they answer the phone right away, essentially getting your order sooner. They need additional help. Attached is the full menu
Insanely good. They need a bigger space and a few more employees - the line was about an hour long. But so worth it.
Love this place! Excellent for smoked meats!
Awesome food and a local business. I’ve had BBQ all over the country. This rivals anywhere that claims to have BBQ as their thing.
Great barbecue place, with counter service and great selections of meats and sides. The brisket was a tender, with a nice amount of smokiness. For sides, the cucumber salad was nice and tangy. If you're in the mood for barbecue, you can't go wrong with BT's.
Forget the food Network. You can be your own food conoseur if you eat here it's so good.
The whole time we were waiting on the ridiculous line, winding around the restaurant, I kept saying that there's no way this food was good enough to deal with such nonsense. I was wrong. Totally worth it.
Reminds me of back home below the Mason-Dixon line. Line moves slow and takes a while to get food but the pork barbecue is awesome. The brisket was awesome as well. The fries were so-so but the sandwiches made up for it.
Don't worry about that line. Get in it, wait your turn, follow the lines rules and enjoy amazing barbeque. Oh, go to the convenience store next store for a cold one or bottle of wine. BT's is BYOB and the store next to it sells a good variety of singles
Great dry rubbed ribs. Awesome brisket. $18 for 2 meat platter. Good value. Wonderful taste
Line was very long, took about an hour but it was well worth it. I got the brisket platter and a few wings and was not disappointed.
Best barbecue we have ever eaten...portions are enormous...sides are great.. But don't be intimidated by the long lines...the wait is worth it...you can order online to avoid the lines...do yourself a favor and go there
Bring your cans of Tree House and enjoy this gem that rivals any BBQ in the country.
Food was so good! Highly recommended!
Good food, but I really wish the cashier would leave her attitude at the door. The other guys behind the counter are really super nice and friendly. The cashier could learn a thing or two from them.
Excellent BBQ every visit. Small interior however large portions more than make up for it. BT's is BYOB so a stop to Tree House Brewing beforehand is the power play you're looking for. Stop by on Tuesdays for the best fried chicken in New England
Incredible authentic BBQ, from a van and shack on Route 20, over 20 years ago, to today's brick & mortar eatery, BT's gets it perfect every time. Try the brisket sandwich...so darn great.
Can't say enough about the great BBQ at this place. It's an institution, and you can bring your own beer from any of the fine local breweries. The brisket and beef ribs are downright amazing. Some great sides too.
