Great food. More to the expensive side.
First, food is delicious! The service also was great, our server took the time to answer all our questions. Fresh guacamole prepared in front of you. Although it's not on the menu, they do small quesadillas for the kids.
Very nice mexican restaurant. Food was prompt. I love that they have Jarrito sodas! They were also able to accommodate one in our party who needs to eliminate gluten.
Shrimp empanadas, great guac and yummy fish tacos
Staff was hospitable, food was good. Nice atmosphere. No salt&pepper shakers though, I find it strange for a restaurant that tipe.
My family and I had lunch here yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Everything we had was so delicious and fresh and the service was excellent and so kind. The enchiladas and tacos we had were so flavourful and pretty. The margaritas and the chocolate coffee at the end too! On top of that, the atmosphere and decor is lovely and warm. I highly recommend!
Beautiful decor and wonderful service, here at Besito. The cocktails are innovative and really well made, I had a delicious Sandia, not too sweet, definitely for adults! All of the food water well made, strong foundation and nicely complex layers of flavor. Well certainly be back. It's upscale, Chestnut Hill, and the high prices reflect the rent, I'm sure. Pleasant evening out.
Delicious. They make guacamole at your table... can't get any more fresh than that!
so yummy and great atmosphere
Besito, aka kisses is one of my go to Mexican restaurants...and a favorite. I've never had a bad meal here and they've never made a mistake. The staff is always professional and friendly. The decor is nice and somewhat upscale. I always look forward to a nice quiet and delicious dinner at Besito.
Great Mexican food. Friendly wait staff.
The ambience is unique upscale yet authentic decor. The service was excellent. Everything was delicious but the table side guacamole is a must. They have special free goodies and food for little ones. The cocktails are innovative and really well made. The server gave us a couple of tiny little Mexican worry dolls.
Great family restaurant. Good food, good service. Only reason I ever go to the mall.
Great place!!! Rachel the manager was terrific! She went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our evening. I'm definitely going back.
One of the Best Mexican Restaurant I have visited in MA. The ambience was very cool and has unique upscale yet authentic decor. The food was so delicious and we were blown out of our minds!!! I loved everything from hospitality of waiters, food & complimentary Churos along with the worry-relief dolls they give before you leave!
The food is good. However, the guacamole has labeled $11.95 in the lunch menu; and I have been charged $12.95.
Delicious Mexican food. I always go there for their guacamole and sangria. But the whole menu is full of yummy items. A long time fave are the carnitas asade tacos. If you're a frequent flyer you will often have complimentary warms crispy/soft churros by the courteous staff. Free parking available.
Way, way overpriced. Very limited selection of oddly spiced Mexican food. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.
Wonderful , I travel a lot and I've been to many restaurants, but this place managed to impress me, the food was absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chef, thank you for being amazing .
Went here for dinner. Decor was nice inside with the wall of candles. Staff were friendly. We started off with a double portion of the guacamole which was honestly one of the best guac and salsa I've had. They make it infront of you and they do an amazing job! We ended up having 3 more portions of it lol. For entrees I had the ribs with chipotle sauce and a side of hot sauce. The ribs were very moist and the meat comes right off. The portion was not huge for the price but I was full after so much guac. They organize it in some jenga like tower that was cool too. The drinks were delicious! I tried the patron margarita which is the most popular. Mine tasted great and was strong. Afterwards I had the mojito which they bring out with a sugar cane. Never had a non rum mojito but tasted great (not as strong as margarita). For desserts we tried all that they had haha which was some chocolate mousse cup that tasted strange and almost carbonated, some melted chocolate cake with a lot of cream on top that was ok. The best two for me were the tres leches cake and some crem brulee type that was also very tasty. At the end we got tiny figurines that were told to put under the pillow at night to make whatever we are worried about go away. Overall it was great experience eating here!
Food, atmosphere and service was awesome!!
Guacamole tableside was excellent but filling.
There are vegan and vegetarian options available. Check in with the sever. Portions were good sized and the food was well seasoned!
Great cocktails and guac! They make it fresh!
Always great ... Be sure to get the guacamole which is prepared tableside
Hands down some of the best Mexican food I have ever had . Even compared to my favorite places in Cabo. Do not.. I repeat.. do not miss out on the street tacos (basically their version of fajitas) that are served in a hot skillet of melted cheese!!!! Also the table side guacamole was also delicious. Sorry no pics, I was too busy eating!!
Excellent pastor tacos. Guacamole was great as well. A bit overpriced but still very good.
good upscale mexican food. i wanted a light mea so ordered the fish tacos from the apps, and was perfect.
A nice set up. Good lighting. Stellar service from start to finish. Price is higher but for what you pay you get good food & drink. Cheers!
Great food, friendly staff, large portions
I love the bar here and stop in often 3-5 Mon-Fri for their $5 Bar Menu Shrimp Tacos!
Incredibly delicious. Bartender Eric was very professional and skilled.
Always excellent quality and experience. Very authentic high quality mexican fares. Not cheap in any sense and worth it.
My family and I have been coming to Besito for awhile we go the the Restaurant in the Chestnut Hill mall ( Massachusetts) it is one of my favorite restaurants to come and eat in. The waiters and waitresses are very professional and kind the food is excellent. If I could I would give it 10 stars . The atmosphere is amazing the decor and the entire experience going there is something everyone should enjoy.
Incredible service delicious food!
Just came from dinner at Besito, at the Chestnut Hill Mall in Chestnut Hill, MA (near Newton, MA). I was there to celebrate my best friend's birthday. We started with the Queso Fundido ($11.95) which was fresh, hot, tasty, and served fast. . It wasn't nearly as salty as I've had before, elsewhere. Unfortunately, they served only 4 tortillas with it, instead of the 8 that we actually needed. We had to ask for the 4 extras. Our server, Juan C. was very good and spoke both really good Spanish as well as English. He was personable and took good care of us. My friend and I also ordered the Sangria Roja - which was delicious. Expensive, but delicious. Each glass was $11.00 and that's just too much. I'm used to paying ~$8.00 or so, but 11.00 is just too much for an inexpensive drink. That's something that they can and should fix. Note - while we were waiting for our Queso Fundido, we had the chips and salsa. The chips are good, but the salsa roja is *extremely* bland and not worth eating. For dinner, I ordered the grilled Pollo con Queso ($19.95). It's slices of grilled chicken, broiled in Mexican cheeses (that I couldn't identify) along with some very dead-looking pieces pepper (these are thin strips of re-hydrated, grilled Poblano peppers that are tasteless and sort of slimy-looking). There were no grilled onions in the dish, which there should have been, and the chicken was very, very dry. It had obviously been sitting around a very long while before being used. The sides that were served with the dish - Mexican 'dirty' rice, which was fairly tasty, and re-fried beans, which were decent, though not great. Also, and this is something that I mentioned to the general manager, the salsa verde (green sauce) was completely useless. It was tasteless, useless, and had no place being on the plate. If you like your food with an actual bite, don't bother with this green salsa. You'll be so disappointed that I can'd describe it. Now, conversely, my friend Brian had the Mixed Grill Mole and he said it was great. They seem to have learned how to make a Mole sauce and they used it to great effect on this dish. ($21.95) For desert, I had the Coconut Flan ($9.00), which though it was small, it was delicious. My friend Brian had the Tres Leches ($9.00) and he said it was awesome. It certainly was big and extremely filling. We each had coffee ($5.90 for two) and the coffee was good-quality and fresh. Our total bill before tax was $99.75. Tax was $6.98. I left a 15% tip.
Magical place for a late night dinner. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are very friendly. I will for sure be back!
Delicious authentic Mexican food in spacious restaurant with traditional Mexican decor and ambiance. Guacamole is made fresh minutes before making it to your table and the food is exquisite. The only reason I cannot give all 5 stars is because many entrees seem too small to merit their price tags. Overall, it's a great place for an outgoing or a celebration.
Was seated outside as a last minute decision which probably led to not seeing a waitress for 10 minutes. I had the tortilla soup to start with and although the chicken was good, the soup base was watery and mostly flavorless. I ordered a simple brunch item but the sunny side up eggs were undercooked, the potatoes needed more seasoning and the avocados were not ripe. The chorizo was the only saving grace. It's not the worst meal I've ever had, but for the price I expected more.
Great mexican in a clean but busy place
Good service, tasty food - not bad for a mall restaurant.
Food was ok. Great Guac, friendly service.
Nice atmosphere, but actually dont feel so well after eating here.
Perfect for friends and family. Staff are super friendly. They have special free goodies and food for little ones.
Not much flavor however great atmosphere
Good food. Like that the guacamole dip is prepared fresh while you watch.
So tasty! I would go back just for the guacamole to be honest. It’s soo good! A bit pricey, but worth it. The salsa was also really good. Not chunky, but smooth. Tasted really fresh. I tried their enchiladas and I thought it was alright. I probably would try something else next time. It wasn’t bad by any means, it just wasn’t my favorite. Service is great as well. Overall I would recommend this place.
Food is definitely 5 stars though the service is a bit slow. it took forever to get drinks and the bill
Had dinner with my best friend. There was quite a wait, so we asked if we could sit outside near the fireplace and they opened the patio and set the table up for us. We're definitely going to go back once a month because they went beyond for us.
Excellent, that's why I keep going back. Great food, EXCELLENT service ~~~
Absolutely spectacular Mexican food, with the homemade guacamole artistically prepared before your eyes. Outstanding atmosphere and ambiance, with the perfect aromas of the most delicious cuisine. Gives the mental impression you have been magnificently transported to the majestic lands of Mexico. Cheers and enjoy
I'm Mexican and until now this is the best Mexican food restaurant I've ever tried out of Mexico.
Beautiful restaurant and ambience. The waiter, Tony, was delightful, helpful and knowledgeable. Food was superb, tortilla soup, baby ribs, shrimp empanadas-Riquísimo y delicioso!
It was great! I had the ribs and the meat was just sliding right off the bone and the sauce that was on it was superb. I don't remember the actual name but it started with a B and ends with ribs.
I can proudly say that this is by far one of my favorite restaurants ever. For date night: Besito, for chic drinks with friends: besito, just because I’m craving those scrumptious ribs: Besito. It’s the most authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve tried here in Boston. They have such great variety of food. they start you off with a complimentary chips and salsa! We went ahead and ordered the guacamole because why not and we where pleasantly surprised to see that They make the guacamole on the spot for you from a cart! They have such delightful appetizer like the queso dip that's just the meltiest yummiest thing you've ever tasted. Their margaritas are so good and have a kick to them, where they offer an array of tequila, they offer reposado as well. The empanadas where the perfect size for an individual appetizer. The street corn comes already served in the plate not whole like other restaurants serve it, so it's easier to share. I recommend you to try the Ribs, they come with a grilled piece of watermelon on the side and the spice on these babies is so good and so hard to try to replicate, it's just so unique and authentic that it leaves you craving so much more. Most meats come served with complimentary rice and beans. But it's no regular rice and beans, the rice itself is bedazzled with a few pepita gems and some yummy veggies that take it to another level. The beans are creamy and topped with cotija cheese that just melt in your mouth. Now for dessert the Tres leches was so spongy and moist it felt like I was biting into a cloud full of yummy sweet heaven. Besito really is the place to be, after our satisfying meal the waiter brought over our worry doll: so as they explained it it's a doll that you put under your pillow and it takes all your worries away, I told the waiter can I have 10 more please since I'm always worried about something! He proceeded to hand us our complimentary churros two per bag and sent us off into the cold cold churroless world. After that beautiful restaurant experience I felt at a loss, I knew then that I was never going to be pampered and treated as well as I had been treated here at Besito. Nowhere else would ever compare. Besito you're an overachiever at best keep up the good work!
Best guac in town
Reslly bad food and service. Food was overcooked, the dessert ( 3 leches ) was sour. I was told that it had orange juice but the truth is the the inside was Sandy and sour. The skillets had the worst meat I have had. I will deidnetly won't come again. Finally, the manager came to the table and walked away from us. He didn't listen , he just wanted to give us coffee, and or other desserts. He tried to be accommodating but he lacked sensory accuity.
The great service and ambiance was a whole experience in itself. At the end of the day the server gave us a couple of tiny little Mexican worry dolls and that was such a nice touch. Wish I remembered his name to let you know who to ask for. The food was quite good. Tableside guac and steak tacos.
I love this place
We stopped here for a lunch while shopping. It was a pleasant environment with great fresh food. Their guacamole was delicious as well as their street tacos.
Service. Amazing. Food EXCELLENT - like take home leftovers excellent. The star of the show though - the drinks!!!!!!! And the place is clean and spacious yet cozy feeling! Easy parking!
Amazing food, great service. Their tacos are the best!
Great ambiance, good food, wonderful service
Food and service are good. They make guacamole at your table and according to your flavor buds (mild or spicy). We found that ordering appetizers rather than a dinner plate works for sharing and variety. It can be a bit pricy, especially if you have drinks.
Ohhh! Such a great food! Perfect balance on the flavors and on top of that an outstanding staff since the moment you step in until you ask for a dessert (to take out) I definitely will go back!
Excellent and fast service, delicious food, I was in a rush because I had to catch a flight and my server was really nice and helpful. I'll definitely come back to this restaurant. Also the atmosphere and decor is spectacular. They even gave me a little gift after I pay my check.
Great guacamole. Otherwise way too pricy for Mexican food that you can have for half the price at borders cafe . But it’s chestnut hill so you gotta pay more for everything. Had the steak tacos . Meat was not high grade . Full of melted salty cheese on it . Typical Tex mex style . Not authentic at all despite what they claim .
Great food and drinks
