REVIEWS OF Beehive Restaurant IN Massachusetts

Emma Hodge

My favorite breakfast place ever and one of the most bright memories of San Francisco. Their Apple pandora is melting! Perfect light breakfast made my day. Swedish cinnamon toast is creature of art, very juicy & melt taste! Thank you guys for your wonderful meal!

ALLISON ROSE

The best restaurant in town, good food, good music and all good vibes. The live band is amazing, and so many local talents!

Drew Villarreal

Incredible place with Amazing atmosphere and Joey is the Best Customer Experience Waiter ever. Will visit this place again once I am visiting Boston again.

Claire Raab

Food and drinks are great! Music is super cool. If you want to meet up with someone to talk, I would ask to sit on the upper level or a little away from the music because it can get a little loud to talk when the music is playing.

Allyson Redhunt

Have only been for brunch. Loved the live jazz. Steak and eggs were delicious as were pancakes. Avocado toast and eggs Benedict were good, not great. Unfortunately, all the eggs were overcooked. Server was super nice.

metin arghan

It is a restaurant not very friendly management they don’t respect their customers. Food quality is acceptable also servers are nice.

Danielle Rudolph

The live jazz band was everything. Very elegant space with beautiful decor. The vegetarian options were delicious. Would be a .must for when I'm in Boston

Ching Chang

Nice food and restaurant. The only thing is the food came really late. Maybe it was because of the weekend.

Antti Koskela

Food was pretty good, but the service was incredibly disorganized: we waited for our food for 30 minutes, at which point one of us got their entree, one got their side, and one got nothing. After 15 minutes we got a hold of a waiter and asked to get the rest of the food. It took them another 20 minutes to get the rest of the entrees, and they still forgot to bring some sides. Overall, not worth it. At all.

Joanne Landers

The most efficient and attentive servers in the world. Delicious food. Try the swordfish! Special mention to Nelia, Tyrell and Joey from the South Shore. Also, best bartender, Martine!!!!!

JK Buckler

Jazz was very good. However La the bartender was excellent. We will go back just to have her make us a drink and discuss Boston.

Jake Ebersole

We got brunch here on a Saturday, reservations were easy to make and they had our table ready on time. All the food and drinks we had were quite good, and came out very quickly. Particularly the Queen Bee and the Poutine were excellent. Also the live jazz music created a great ambiance. My only issue came at the end of the meal (and is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars), when our server seemed offended at our 25% tip. We did spend two hours here, but as a party of 3 we spent over $200, so it's not like we were sitting around drinking water and eating bread, and the tip was generous. All in all the service was fine (except that last thing), the food was great, and the ambiance was excellent. Would recommend.

Marit Ivory

Very impressed with the service we received. The host outside gave us a rundown of the drink mene and what he liked. Bartender inside was friendly and shared samples of wine as well as tips for the area.

Susan Losey

Here to visit family, brought me here because I LOVE LIVE MUSIC, Food was excellent, I had babyback ribs, there was so much meat on them I only ate two. Salads were great! They didn't have Southern Comfort so I had a drink suggested to me, yum! Looking forward to another visit. Band was neat!!! Love a good guitar player and right songs. Atmosphere and old building incredible and wait staff so attentive and friendly!

Jennifer Post

This place was so good we went twice! Once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times there was very enjoyable live jazz. Would recommend for any meal!

Ginny Kwan

Came here for brunch on a Sunday, food was good, OK for the price. It was weird they ran out of cappuccino at noon. Our waiter seemed to be flustered and overwhelmed with service, we asked him for sharing plates and he only came back 20 mins after. Tried it, it was OK, not sure I’d go again.

Penny Zheng

Nice brunch. Cool atmosphere.

Corey Adams

Great food and drink. Atmosphere is amazing. It's also much bigger then the outside leads you to believe.

TW

We sat outside. Service was very nice. Choice of food could be better

Ashley Schmidt

Great live music spot! Ambiance energetic, friendly and fun! We visited downstairs and the host was super kind. We got a front row table at the stage and the food was delicious! Some of the best braised oxtail gnocchi I have ever had! Can’t wait to visit again! Reminded me of my days in New Orleans.

Sailesh Sidhwani

I won't go there just for the awesome music gigs they have. Oxtail dish is definitely worth try. Wine...good Food...good Music... awesome

Yuhan Zhang

A very busy restaurant. It is recommended to book in advance but you can still find a seat without booking. Bar and live music performances can be found downstairs. Seats are available outdoor. Prices are very high though and the food is only decent. The waiters/waitresses are very polite.

Arthur H

Awesome! The food was delicious and the live music great. We had a great time.

Jay Stacy

Great food, so flavorful, and quality live music. I ordered the duck breast and loved the exotic flavors. Rest of table ordered the steak. They were happy with their meal also.

Kevin Wallace

Fantastic brunch, bartender top notch! Highly recommend!!

Liz

Very nice spot. Fantastic prompt service. We went here before seeing a 7:30 show at the Wilbur which I would not recommend. The music was just getting started when we left. We felt for the $$ the portions and drink presentation were a but lacking, however it probably would have felt more "worth it" if we had also enjoyed some live music as part of my meal. I would definitely recommend making it more of an evening out rather than a dinner stop. I had the swordfish and the Queen Bee bubbly cocktail.

Jamie Beauregard

One of our favorite places for brunch. Their jazz breakfast is always wonderful.

Ryan Ruscetta

Amazing atmosphere nice music nice people it was just very small and crowded

Courtney Stricklan

We went for brunch and it was a wonderful experience. Live music and a diverse menu. The blueberry ricotta pancakes were terrific!

Lee F

Great Food. Good Music. Nice place to chill out and Relax with Friends

Alex Rockwell

The beehive is a treasure! Head downstairs to catch some live music while you dine.

Laura Zase

In Boston's theatre district. We've been a number of times now for Easter brunch. Has live jazz in eclectic old brick building. Good for kids with the Easter bunny and hidden prize filled eggs!

Matt V

Innovative menu that was well-executed. Live music that didn't really steal the show from the conversation. Pretty good cocktails. Decent wine list. The decor is a very Urban Chic. Staff was pretty good. They wouldn't seat us until I hope party arrived which is reasonable but they're a bit rude about it.

Daniele Giuffrida

Good food, vibrant atmosphere and nice music in this music pub restaurant in the centre of Boston. Be sure to reserve and bring along an identity card as well.

Mary Garhart

Lovely restaurant. You'll definitely want to make a reservation. I wish we haven't been seated right next to the stage, but the music was great! Really enjoyed the food and the service. Would recommend for a good brunch spot.

Danielle Perlin-Good

My friends and I really enjoyed our time here! We would have loved to sit somewhere and just order drinks, but there wasn't enough space. The drinks were strong but decent. The music was fabulous, though!

Gozde Arghan

We were there a few minutes before the start of service on a nice sunny Saturday morning and were not welcome to sit and wait at all even at the outside tables which we were told were being set - meaning they were just being adorned with two rolled up napkins with cutlery inside. Then we were kept waiting to be seated together with our friends who were to join us. And then were told we had to close our check for the drinks we were to have waiting at the bar because as a policy they could not transfer our drinks at the bar to our table!? Completely whimsical and everything but customer centric and not polite about it either but rather a very arrogant take it or leave it; customers are pouring in anyhow attitude (welcoming lady and waitress at the entrance level bar). The freezing and gloomily dark basement does not have the right feeling for brunch. Do ask to be seated outside when the weather allows it. Or at the bar level but certainly not the basement. The live jazz music was good. Food and service were good as expected. Good but nothing exceptional.

Lance Adams

Fantastic food & excellent service! Make reservations. Outside looks like a fun brunch spot but inside is a great experience & the jazz music is tremendous background ambiance. Highly recommend!

Shamekia Gordon

My husband and I came here while visiting family in Boston. The food and drinks were good. My 1 year old even enjoyed the French fries. The staff were all very inviting and friendly. Overall , we had a great experience.

Francisco Prieto

Interesting local bar with live music. Drink options were pretty decent and the crowd was chill. Only negative would be The staff was a bit slow considering the place was not even that busy. Food was a plus as they have a late night menu with some tasty shareable plates.

Karl Larsen

Super fun jazz restaurant with the best homemade chips I've ever had. You will need a reservation if you want to sit at all, but they have a decent amount of standing space for those who don't plan ahead. On Friday nights there is less jazz playing than you would expect, but it was still fun. Apparently they have a jazz brunch, so definitely check that out. Also just to recap, their chips are amazing. Just go for those.

James Antoine

Good music, staff, and atmospher. Always a great vibe there

Iva Anderson

Great and awesome place. Great drinks and food. Service is very focused on customers.

Jeanie Inglis

Friendly staff, funky ambience, live music just meh. Drinks inexpensive. I recommend getting amaros there after dinner elsewhere.

Keith Hall

I have been going here over the years and each time I go I have a really good time with the cocktails, the food and entertainment. Anyways, I saw a rhythm and blues band that made a tribute to Elvis and they were fabulous I had a wonderful time and I recommend anyone to check this place out. The food is really good with a nice southern flare. I just really think that if you want a bit of entertainment, definitely check out the website to see who's playing.

Andrea C

Brunch was good, sat at the bar downstairs. Cool atmosphere.

Scott S

Ordered the swordfish and skirt steak frites. Both dishes were very good. Service was quick and good. We sat outside in front of the restaurant.

Sonny Caplash

Great, hip vibe. Drinks were good. Live jazz in the background, but not very overbearing. Good place to catch up with friends and grab a casual drink.

Gillon Hunter

Love this place. Great atmosphere, cool decor, friendly people, good food and beer. If it was in my town, it would be the best in town.

Shelly Ross

We love the live jazz here. The restaurant is great, fun cocktails, love the calamari appetizer. They got a new chef and changed the menu so there's a few favorite dishes we miss. They need to bring back the duck breast! The staff is excellent and we love coming here for date nights.

Monica Lee

They had me at jazz. I loved the bar and the music, my bartender was really nice. Definitely recommend the braised pork and poutine, and I also enjoyed the drink "Queen Bee" and I am NOT big vodka drinker. Wish to visit again, and will make plans to come again if I ever go to Boston again.

Pam Coleman

Amazing food & even though we weren't there specifically for the music, we were still able to hear it. Very enjoyable evening.

Paavan Pulavarti

The live music, unique atmosphere and delicious food. It's a beautiful space with a large bar, and a great view of the stage. Would recommend.

Iqra Nadeem

Despite making a reservation, we were made to wait for around 30minutes by just standing because the bar was full. Two of the hostesses were extremely rude and acted so confused about our seating arrangement. The food is pretty average as well. The rudeness of the hostesses left a terrible taste and we intend to never go back here.

Fiona Lazaro

Spent our last night in Boston here and had a most wonderful dinner with live jazz. It is a soulful space that inspires and excites people who visit! Do not miss out on dessert, we had an excellent chocolate mousse with fruit and nuts

Linda Vaitkus

More than a restaurant. Live music venue. Good Brussels sprout appetizer. Interesting drinks. Friendly service e!

Steve Kitay

Generally great music in a pretty cool retro setting.

Charlie Sweigart

Server was over the top. Food Scrumptious. Live music brunch was fun.

C L

A must visit spot any time I'm in Boston. Fantastic atmosphere and very well maintained by the staff. Awesome art throughout really sets the vibe and add to that all of the live music!Gets very busy at times, so a reservation is definitely recommended. Food is out of this world with essentially everything on the menu being a solid choice. The chef and staff here really take pride in their craft. Price is actually very reasonable for all that you get. Signature drinks are the only thing I wasnt crazy about but theres plenty of other drinks that can be paired with a meal.

Rachael Vaughn

Great venue for food and performance! The downstairs tables have a great view of the stage with the upstairs tables providing a more cool environment. The menu has designated gluten free options and all of them were delicious. Although not gluten free, their frites are amazing!

Sooryun Lee

The food and the atmosphere were lovely.

Michael DeFilippo

This place never disappoints. Food and drinks are amazing. Always a great atmosphere with the live band.

Jon Gosling

Popped in here before dinner reservation elsewhere for a cocktail and some jazz. The trio that was on for jazz had a slow start and were very energetic but once they got going things improved and the music was very good. Cool spot in the basement that I'm told is normally packed and was filling in as we left. The cocktails were just ok. I'd probably go for a beer if I return as long as the mood supported it.

James Laurenti

One of my favorite spots in Boston. Definitely make it a priority to hang out downstairs vs. upstairs. It's a beautiful space with a large bar, and a great view of the stage. Versatile spot that is great for a dinner out for 2-6 people with decent drinks and surprisingly solid menu.

Craig Pressley

We love the Beehive, it has been a favorite spot since we moved to the Boston area.its hard to find a place with a great food menu, really great cocktails and live music. We are big fans of the Beehive, after 5 visits I would highly recommend it. This evening I loved the swordfish and my partner had the lamb shank, cocktails were ... great too!

Andrew Hackett

Always a good time at the beehive. We love their outdoor seating. Its never been an issue but this last time our server was clearly having a bad day.

Bertie Wright

The food and cocktails here are both top notch, I had brunch and it was delicious. Also our waiter was really nice. I do think the ambiance would lend itself more to a dinner setting, with low lights and table lighting this would be extremely romantic and cozy.

Kate Brown

Went here for jazz in Sunday’s for a celebration before getting married. The food was wonderful (something for everyone), the music smooth and subdued for the setting, and the service incredibly polite. We wish we could go back every week.

Dan Panea

Live band, great drinks, and service is very focused on customers. This place is very large, with a basement section. Very clean place, targeting urban segment.

Jesse Shearer

Fun atmosphere, beautiful architecture. Good drinks, and there's live music. Fun place to come have a few good drinks and listen to some music. Not overbearing but can get a little busy.

My Thoughts

Decent service. Food was very tasty. Live music was good, but it was loud in the restaurant

Michael Sweeney

Came here for Blues night, picked from West coast on last minute travel plans to meet my dad on father's day, ended up with amazing food, damriscotta oysters, fresh cod and melt in your mouth short ribs, and then ended up staying for the awesome music, not your typical restaurant background band, ingred grelson (sp?) Awesome show!

Sandro Lubas

We went to the bar downstairs. The location is big and cool with live music. The bier selection is vast and the food options are nice. The vibe is very cool and the staff is very friendly.

Chris Hurley

Amazing spot to relax and enjoy the luxurious atmosphere

Nicole Moreno

Great atmosphere and food! It is literally my favorite restaurant. Keep it up

Josh Meagher

Food tasted good and they had some great cocktails. Live jazz music.

Maria G Zalba

We hace a crear night the personal profesional and friendly ...ir was a bit expensive all in all

David Brann

Packed, lively place with multiple bars, great food, live music. Well worth the visit

Jace B

Do yourself a favor and reserve a table! Seating was limited when we arrived, and we managed to snag a stool at the bar one (lucky!) Sunday morning for brunch and enjoyed some live music that provided a lot of atmosphere. Between breakfast steak and avocado toast with some unique and flavorful elements, we left a quick trip to Boston with plans to definitely return to enjoy this treat!

Richard Raizes

Enjoyed the live music, good drinks too

Juan Diego Sol

Went for my birthday, food will get that hangover right down. Reserve with time as it is constantly full. Walls and ceiling covered in great art, you'll enjoy more than just the food

Ryan Collins

Beehive is a place I'd known of for years but had just never made it to. I can say with certainty, I'd like to make this one of my Boston staples! The cozy atmosphere, warm lights, and live music make for a great date spot or even a place to catch up with friends or to bring guests. The food is great and the options are great for vegetarians and there are gluten free plates as well. Drinks too were fantastic and well crafted. Though, our servers attentiveness and suggestions helped make our experience even more amazing. This is a place to book in advance but it is well worth the wait.

Charles Boulware

I thought this place would be bourgeois because of the people upstairs, but our waitress was dope. Food was also amazing.

Georgia Schumacher

Great music, good drinks (a little on the pricey side), and fun vibe.

Diana Dolishny

The Beehive is one of the best places in the city for nightlife. The jazz is always lovely, the atmosphere is incredible and the cocktails are top notch. I usually recommend it to newcomers. My only complaint is the food selection is pretty abysmal if you’re vegetarian or vegan or have other dietary restrictions.

Rafael Polidoro

well, I can't be unfair. The food I had (Brazilian special dish of the day, moqueca) was great. I also tasted the ribs and they were great too. But the other things are not special enough. That gave a star. The music yesterday was very good (that gave the second star), but YOU CAN'T DANCE. They don't have a Cabaré license, according to the safety guy in clear desperate need of power and control. That removed a star. Moreover, I let my tab opened with my card there and got an extra charge (it not overpriced enough already) that I had to reverse with my Bank. That removed one star for my time and another one for the need to check. Trust is so basic in this kind of service... Basically, if you don't want to dance and you want to overpay for average food, it's a great place. Otherwise, go somewhere else. Cheers

Kafilat Lawal

Not sure how it is currently, but when I visited, a bit of a hassle to get in. food was good, portion size was a bit small. place does have lively entertainment.

Elizabeth Robinson

Great place to eat delicious food at a decent price. The ambiance of this restaurant was lovely. Service was amazing. The quality and level of food that you receive was great.

Catalin Scrieciu

Great food, great live music

shashank shivakumar

The Half chicken with lemon garlic and quinoa was amazing but the Crispy callamary was but oily. I loved the jazz performance it was funky and crowd moving.

Niko Tsop

amazing music and drinks! The atmosphere perfect for singles 30-40

Preston Andreasen

Great and awesome place. The food is delicious and the drinks selection is great. It was served in a timely manner, nice and hot. Totally worth the drive!!!

taneille doyley

Loved watching the band play while having dinner and drinks.

Katelyn Kramer

Nice jazz brunch and evening shows with excellent artists, and a unique vibe for drinks or a meal at any time of day.

Franklyn Yao

The Rib is tasty, it coated with honey glaze.

Stormer Santana

This is definitely a great spot to bring friends for an awesome brunch. The live music, unique atmosphere and delicious food. It is slightly more expensive than your traditional spot for breakfast or lunch, but with the live music and vibes, it is totally worth it. The ricotta pancakes are to die for!

Manny J

Great service and food

edi eliezer

Excellent food and ambiance. Was lucky to be there on a Monday night with a very cool Raggae music band.

Harriet Frost

Lovely, intimate feeling bar and restaurant. Hipster cool, without the pretentiousness. Their live jazz music is perfection. I always try to go when I'm in town

Carmella Ciampa

Great place for a night out!

Philip Capuzzi

Absolutely wonderful experience! They were helpful with the reservation and trying to get a good spot for the music, the food was superb. The Beau Sassier Trio was amazing, and the overall vibe was so dope. 10/10 experience

Veronica Yu

Beautiful atmosphere, live music, great food! Will definitely like to go again - Monday's are reggae night!

Rebecca Flieder

It's expensive-- My portion of farrotto (farro risotto) was small for the $24 we paid for it. It wasn't bad, though. I thoroughly enjoyed the main course and the $10 dessert (butterscotch pudding, about 1c for the price. I'd like to say it was worth it but I'm not sure. If you're willing to splurge, worth it.

Timothy Hooper

The steak and beer was excellent. The staff was also thoughtful. It's a really unique atmosphere.

Mark Ingram

I enjoyed the band and the bar menu burger (1/2 the Thousand Island sauce would work) but was turned off by the fact they wouldn't seat me at one of the many available linen tableclothed tables at 10pm. They said those were set up for tomorrow's dinner. WTF. Then 20 min later they stripped the tablecloths and place settings off of a couple of those tables. Pro tip: no one wants to eat off formica tables when tablecloths are available.

Nicholas Urbanek

Visiting Boston from Portland, ME and went for the Sunday jazz brunch. The service, space, and jazz was great. But, the food was below average. The Avocado Toast was a smear of avocado on a thick slice of mostly un-toasted bread. The Egg Shakshuka was bland AF and appeared to have been plated the night before. The Coffee Cake also left much to be desired. Never again!

Hamza Malik

If heaven came in a plate, it would be the grilled swordfish at the Beehive! That was ridiculously good, it is just indescribable. The combination of flavors and ingredients was to die for, they danced and swirled in my mouth creating a this beautiful art piece of taste buds bliss. The server was really awesome, and gave great recommendations. I wish I remembered his name, but he was awesome, welcoming and friendly. I would definitely won't hesitate to go back again, and would definitely recommend it for everyone. Cheers

Brian Finnegan

Great food, kool atmosphere, outstanding service, great place !!!

Sj Heywood

What's up what I expected. Quiet Didn't care for the music or the food.

Afua Sintim

The vibe is really cool here and the live band performances are great! Definitely recommend for drinks with friends or a cozy date night

Frederick Wright

My original review from a couple years ago still stands - this place is a hip, quirky, interesting bi-level spot with innovative cocktails and Mediterranean influenced cuisine, with some Moroccan touches. I appreciate the live music, usually kept in check and not amplified too high which is rare for Boston. One thing to note however - success has made this place extremely popular, so reservations are always a must, and the harried staff may seem a bit impatient sometimes if the table to which you've been assigned can't quite accommodate a full sized adult. Our brunch experience this past weekend was pleasant enough although marred by service issues like this, and eggs being overpoached and solid.

Megi Nevins

Fun place, good food. But not good place for a quiet conversation. Tonight they had a great music.

joshua wilson

Truth be told, I have never eaten a meal here, but absolutely want to! The atmosphere is phenomenal, gritty, bluesy, unpolished beauty. Walking downstairs seems to transport you to an old time speakeasy. Intoxicating vibe.

Federico Tomasi

Friendly and nice place. Food was great. Also, downstairs there was live music.

Sofia De Hert

The service wasn't good at all. It was our first marriage anniversary and honestly the service was cold and not nice. However, the food was very good.

Alana Westwater

Solid tasty well seasoned and cooked food with friendly service.

Alessandra Oliveira

Great Boston restaurant!!! great food, wine and live music! my kids also loved it! kids friendly, underground is my fave place to sit !

keith gopsill

Awesome place down stairs with live music playing starting around 10pm on the weekends. Drinks are a bit pricey but not overly expensive as anywhere else, but that is the city for you. Friendly bar staff and wait staff, the manager was always waking around checking in on things and helping out where needed, this proved to make things better for this packed house!

Lila Nazef

Very charming place with live music. I’ve been there multiple times for dinner and drinks. Food is not my favorite but the drinks are good and the live music makes the difference. One of the places to see in Boston

Roger Franklin

very lovely place. the food is great and the service is outstanding. youll love the ambience and live music really sets the atmosphere. its a must check out spot

Leo Pichette

This was our plan B restaurant after a full day of interviewing students at MIT and it didn’t disappoint. There were 6 of us and they were busy, but they found us a seat! I got a couple of cocktails, the Chancelor, and the perfect storm, and I’d recommend just ordering your go to cocktail vs their drink menu. For dinner i had the skirt steak with potatoes and chard, very good. Probably wouldn’t seek this place out again but it was perfect for what we needed that particular day.

Taray Thomas

Monday Night Reggae Band Phenomenal @Naya Rock

soriah V

Jazz music while having brunch on Sunday was just a dream! The brick walls, cool art, kind service, delicious food was a win!

Le Chalics

Great drinks. Relaxing atmosphere. Haven't tried the food.

Ja Cohen

Great food in generous portions, and a live jazz band during breakfast! The Bloodys were goood

David Morrel

Drinks/ live music/ vibe are all reason to make it a routine spot. Food is hit or miss.

Richard Monahan

I am a regular, however, I have had two extremely stressful and disappointing experiences recently and I am debating whether to ever return again. Service at tables was very slow and inattentive due to a paucity of staff. Not much better at bar after I moved. Staff is friendly but service is LESS than satisfactory. I have been VERY frustrated as of late.

David Ramirez

The second manger sucks they think your drunk but they making a lie Just because they see Hispanic crowd. They don’t allow people who are Color because they are WHITE only. The guy with the red bread and had white t shirt and gray pants who doesn’t like Hispanic. I suggest you fire this guy before I bring the law to this club and bring it a.l bigger issue.

Garrett Cunningham

Great venue. Fair selection of beer on tap. Note that the crowd is a bit more interested in socializing than actually listening/watching the performers. Would recommend.

Scott Ross

This has been an outstanding jazz supper club for YEARS! I hope it NEVER closes. Mature crowd Sunday-Wednesday, college kids come in Friday and Saturday, mixed results on Thursdays.

William Howard

Thank you for all your help. Your service was excellent and very FAST.

Todd McMurtrey

Great food and service. The eggplant parmesan was amazing. Basically a giant lasagna-style layering of delicious goodness.

Wissam Jawhari

Very nice vibe with live bands performing! The atmosphere is kinda hippy and cool! The steak is so good, salmon not too much!

Lawrence Kelley

53 yo spent Father's Day 2019 here. Love this place! - Dad / Natick, MA

Wes Hadley

The Beehive is a great destination if you are looking for live music and a fun atmosphere. The food and drinks trend on the more expensive side, but everything I've had has been good. I may reccomend it more for drinks, apps, and music than a dinner destination. It gets pretty crowded so reservations are a good idea; although there is lots or bar seating. Update: went for jazz brunch last Sunday and loved it! I could hardly decide what to get, because everything looked and sounded so good!

Karen C.

Fun spot with great live music and a laid back atmosphere. Food and drinks were okay - I’d say definitely the ambiance is the selling point

Rachel Robey

5 stars for the live music and 3 stars for the food.

Eli Siskind

Delicious twists on brunch classics. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the building itself feels like a fancy maze of spacious underground caverns. It's almost worth going just to see the building, although luckily the food is amazing as well.

Andrew Dai

Awesome restaurant, we got seated right next to the band on Saturday morning which was incredible. Food was excellent and service was prompt! Will definitely be coming back.

jane gober

Creative (and tasty) food and drink with wonderful service.

Andy Furkins

Sunday night good food and blues. lively atmosphere and fun staff

Phyllis Plioplys

What an adorable place! Family owned and open for breakfast and lunch. Good selection of food and much of it homemade. Big portions of salad and soup. Never had breakfast but it looks good. Nice to have a regular restaurant amongst all the fast food/chain restaurants. Will definitely go back.

raidome

Part restaurant, part bar, and part music venue. This place can get crowded. I would recommend reservations on the weekend. They usually have at least one vegetarian option and a few gluten free choices. They also do brunch. The music can be hit or miss but usually revolves around the jazz, blues, world music genres. This is a good place if you want dinner and music but want to avoid the typical bar scene. College kids usually go down the street.

Chris Neylan

Always a pleasure. The food is creative and we'll executed as are the cocktails. They always choose musicians that know what their doing and can read where the crowd wants to go.

Geoff Bocobo

Went on a double date here about a year ago. Great food/drinks and upbeat vibe, especially if you get seats near the on-stage live music.

Andrew Potenza

Used to be cool, kind of lost that vibe but the food is still pretty good

Matthew Williams

Went to the beehive for a friends birthday. Ambience - jazzy and rustic. The music can be a touch loud for table convo but great for dates or a group hangout. The table was tight for our group of 5 but we got used to it fast. Food - Delicious, we ordered a lot it I personally had the Oysters, duck meatballs, the short rib main course and the peach cheesecake. All well prepared. I drank the bigwig which was tasty. Service - spot on, well dressed and eloquent.

Justin Kates

Cool spot in the basement. Skirt steak was good. Drinks are a little fancy. Live music was great.
