This place is awesome!!!! My girls mother recommended it otw to the movies so we stopped for a late lunch and holy hell! The menu is pretty extensive. It took us awhile to order just because everything sounded so good! All of us got different meals and all 4 were perfect! Im so happy to find a new place with such great food and great service!!!!

Yesterday 1/21/17 FIRST VISIT even though I had heard about it replacing the "99". Went with a group of 15+ (See below + Husbands, Children, etc.) to "Toast & Reminisce" (w/Liquor) after the Funeral Service of my Childhood Neighbors DAD. FANTASTIC time & Janet, (Our Waitress), did a GREAT JOB (alone) filling all those glasses for Round #1, then #2, & some #3's!! "I'll be Baaak"

This place used to be the 99 in the Market Basket Plaza in Ashland Massachusetts. It is now an independent establishment and I think it's fantastic. Anyone from Framingham would remember the chicken bone, this is a very classy chicken bone. Excellent food excellent service live music.

Decent beer selection. The servers are hot and miss, or maybe it was a tough night. They make their own onion rings, no frozen rings.id go there just for rings and a beer. There is a ramp to get in and a reasonable waiting area that is not inside the restaurant itself, but is not exposed to the elements. It used to be a 99 restaurant.

Fantastic place, worth a 40 minute drive! I might have my next birthday party there, one tray of nachos should feed them all, haha. In all seriousness, though, this place has very serious claim on the title of the best in its category anywhere in Greater Boston. The food is excellent, prices reasonable and draft beer selection very respectable.

The generous food is worth the prices. The service is friendly and the food comes out at a good rate. They lose a star because it's the darkest bar in the area. Especially in the spring, when everyone is sick of winter, the last place you want to go is a cold and dark bar.

I eat here when I can.I have been a regular patron since it opened after the old nines closed. I do enjoy the fish and chips but the seasonal meal salads are always so tempting. The staff is always A+ and it is nice to see the managers involved with what is coming out of the kitchen. Always clean . This is my favorite "go to" place with friends and family. Consistently very good.

Everything from service, food, atmosphere, cleanliness, was great. We were seated quickly by a friendly waitress. While the beer list isn't the most extensive I've ever seen,for a local family pub it's got a great variety. Also has some specialty drinks. I haven't tried them but they were there and sounded pretty good for mixed drinks. The food was great and came out pretty darn fast. It wasnt very crowded, but the place was buzzing. One thing I really loved was the decor. From vintage movie posters to comics, to sports memorabilia, it had a great look. Bathrooms were clean, 3 stalls in the ladies room. Overall, if you're looking for great place to sit down and have a beer you may not have tried, or your regular dram, some hearty comfort food, and casual fun, look no further.

3 stars because I got whole clams that were terrible. I got sick from them at first I thought was a stomach bug 2 days later I ate them again and got sick again. Clams are one of my favorite dishes. The place is clean people are nice.

So the bar is pretty good. Food is absolutely dreadful. So bad. Like ordering a steak tip sandwich.A big pile of bread and 3 tiny over cooked tips with unmelted Gouda . Apps are terrible. Everything I’ve had here for food has been awful. About 12 things. I’m like a dumb monkey that does not learn. But the bar is fun I suppose. Can get super busy.

This place is warm and inviting, we had the steak and cheese eggrolls and I had the dasy Mae chicken sandwich. I highly recommend both. Wait staff was upbeat and friendly, recommend a dessert for my friend and he loved it (chocolate tower cake) two thumbs up and I recommend this to all of my local friends. Paul they are also famous for their salads.

A great local bar with a well stocked beer selection. Fun atmosphere full of active music, special game or tasting nights. The food menu holds it's own offering all the pub style favorites extending into a filled out restaurant list. Anything from wings or calamari to flatbreads, steak tips ,flame Grilled salmon. Easy access on 126 in Ashland.

Local pub on the eastern side of Ashland. Very dark inside and a lot of the menu is fried offerings. Portions are large, so pack your appetite! Beer list is mid-range with some local offerings. Biggest plus is a convenient location when you don't want to stray too far from home.

Same owners as Medway cafe in Medway, menu and decor very much the same. There is a bigger bar (40x20) here than Medway and was great for our experience. It was Sunday gameday so a little slow on the servers but food was still great as normal and the "game day menu" was good as well, try the tater tots, a very good choice. Either way glad to end up here on a Sunday afternoon for alcoholic beverages and an early dinner! Thank you Ashland Ale House!

The hostess who took my take out order this afternoon made my experience here exceptional. I had a somewhat complicated order and she was extremely patient and took the time with me on the phone to make sure she got it perfect! I was very impressed as this rarely happens at restaurants. Ashland Ale House has become the place to be on a Friday night in Ashland. They have a well balanced menu, but it leans to the comfort side of the food spectrum. That being said, their food is hearty and delicious and served generously. They always have great specials going as well that can make it hard to pick because they all sound real tasty. My personal favorite is the fried corn bread croutons that come with one of the salads, they're little cubes from food heaven. I prefer to come here for a late lunch/early dinner type of thing rather than a night out on the weekend as it can get rather loud. If you're looking for that, then don't think twice, this is a lively place. I don't hold this against them because they do have a great bar for sports and libations so it's only natural. 5 stars for food alone!

My husband and I go here all the time. We love the food...everything we've ever tried is fantastic, especially for a bar! The Buffalo Chicken Mac n Cheese is heaven, the nachos are wonderful and the Daisy May Chicken is my husband's favorite. The bartenders are attentive and friendly, and the service is always decent. It can get loud, and you often have to wait for a seat at prime time, but I would highly recommend the AAH!

My folks and grandmother and I went there tonight and it was uncharacteristically bad. The chowder came out barely warm, then the food was cold. We told the waitress who said she'd speak to the manager, she didn't even come to talk to us in person until we asked her to. We weren't looking for a free meal (and we didn't get one) but just to let her know they had a problem. Won't be in a rush to go back.
