Excellent local restaurant with dining rooms in South End and Chestnut Hill. I've been to both, one for brunch and one for dinner. Completely satisfied. Food was amazing. Classic French options. Daily specials. Filet was perfect. Dutch Baby for brunch was decadent. Service is outstanding. Great decor. Good location. Arrive early without a reservation. Highly recommend!

Corey Adams

Went for dine out week Boston, and I will 1000% be going back. Absolutley amazing food. And definitely listen to the waiters recommendation for wine. They know their stuff. And their drinks to die for.

Emeline Bacqué

I'm a french expat living in Boston and miss my cuisine. It's a great place to have specialities from different part of France. I had mussels, a classic in the North of France, which was cooked with the same ingredients (white wine, shallots and cream). It was really good and enhanced the quality of New England's products which are elsewhere just steamed (so very blend for me

François Guay

The place is definitely nice, though a bit noisy. I found the food to be good, but not excellent. Portion are also small. Overall, I think it’s a bit overpriced but you get a good meal or a good brunch.

Eduardo Fortes Alayon

Lovely spot for brunch, great service and great tasty food.

Taylor Wright

Everything was excellent. Highly recommend.

TheSoho120

Cute atmosphere. Lobster bisque was oily and escargot lacked flavour. Service was good given that there was one waitress who acted as host and bartender. Cheese plate was mediocre in flavor however French onion soup and drinks were flavourful.

Janet Moon

Lovely French meal, lovely french atmosphere and Great service. Has a very classic french feel to the dishes. Not too foo foo. Starters of muscles and warm cheese salad. Main courses of duck breast with a lovely cherry sauce and steak frites. Chocolate mouse and creme brulee.

David Minear

Usually reliable but quality and service seem to have declined since December 2017. Steak frites was ordinary with disappointing French fries served warm not hot. Sole meuniere heavily garnished with greens, overly fried, and served with a bland potato puree. Creme brulee tangerine garnish detracted from this classic French staple. Service was rushed with server interrupting conversation to offer dessert. Will return as this might have been an off night or perhaps a change in chefs. Historically this restaurant has been consistently excellent.

Apps, wine and atmosphere we're good, but entrees (both scallops and steak frites) we're either overcooked or under cooked. Service was friendly, but we were never asked if our meals were ok. Have had very good meals here in the past, but not on this day.

My first time here was on a Thursday night in October and it was great. My friend and I sat at the small bar to have some drinks. We received some great tips from the girl behind the bar who was very friendly and polite. My second attempt at coming here was nowhere near as pleasant, perhaps because it was on a Saturday night when the host showed no regard for whether he retains any customers or not. Again, a friend and I came in and asked to have some drinks. The host told us a couple of seats were about to be freed up so we waited right in front of him. The seats freed up and since he did not clarify whether we would have to wait for him to seat us we kept waiting. At this point two gentlemen came in, and after a brief encounter he told them it was ok to take those two seats we were waiting for. When I asked him about it, he said it was open seating, first-come first-serve, and we could have two seats in the corner, where we (being petite girls) could have barely fit in comfortably. The host in no way made it clear that seats were first-come first-serve when we first walked in, did not seem to feel bad in any way for giving away seats he implied we could take and just had a rude unprofessional attitude I would not want to deal with again. This place just came off my list of places to go out to in the neighbourhood. If you want a stress-free night I would suggest going somewhere more relaxed.

I visited Boston in hopes of enjoying some French food and this restaurant seemed to get a lot of good press. After trying it for myself I now realize they must be paying for the publicity. This is only one link in a chain of restautants owned by Seth Woods. A good rule of thumb is when you see the name of the restaurant you're eating on your own dinner plate, avoid it. The cocktail and wine list are lovely but the food was a joke. For an appetizer I tried the lobster bisque and it was 1/3 chive oil and totally disgusting. The escargot was fine but then again I am not sure if ant restaurant is truly capable of screwing up snails in garlic butter. For entrees the pan roasted Rohan duck breast was good but the quarter-sized seared scallop entree allegedly served with vegetables and an inedible fennel salad was a scoff. The scallops were cooked perfectly but there was no cohesiveness to this dish. By the time the server who shall not be named because she never bothered to introduce herself strolled back to my table inquiring if we liked our selections we had obviously eaten the scallops leaving the vegetable nonsense for the birds. She cut me off a few times to answer a question with the same question I was asking in a condescending tone so I cut the dinner before dessert and I won't be returning. Au revoir!!!

Andrew Pietruschka

Snare a spot at the bar by the window for some afternoon drinks, or have a great meal. Either way the service and food is excellent.

Alice Ursella

Amazing food, great atmosphere and attention to details, we had a perfect date night here!!

Leo Sampson

Good food and friendly staff!

Boopy Doo

Its okay

Luisa LaSalle

I have only been for brunch on the weekends but the food is good. They have a great weekend brunch deal pre-fix meal—bottomless coffee, fresh OJ, entree, and a cinnamon roll for approx. 11 dollars. Great deal, especially in the south end! Had a delicious bloody mary as well. Friendly staff!

Derick Hayes

The French toast was amazing

William Bonner

Really good wait staff, good wine selection, interesting entrees.

Qian Meng

Egg Benedict is sooo good! My friend loved her omelette as well.

James Lach

The sole was amazing. Highly recommend the bread pudding.

Matt Reid

Honestly, this place is pretty average. The service is very good but the food is just okay. Everything's pretty expensive. The wine list is very expensive. Several of our items came out dramatically under seasoned. And several items came out of dramatically overcooked.

fayeq husein

Good food and nice service

Amanda Maldonado

Great stiff mimosa, amazing chilaquiles and good coffee, but i felt the omelette basquaise was bland and dry. Service was ok. Had to wait a long time for our server due to some confusion. I enjoyed the decor.

Ron Dyer

Fantastic... Highly recommend the French toast

Carmen Baker

Great food, wonderful service

Nicholas Galinski

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience overall. Shoutout to Jon who was a great server with expansive knowledge of the menu and gave great recommendations. Perfect meal before seeing a show at the theatres next door. Only negative is the lighting - a lot of people use the flashlights from their phones to see the menus.

Igrid Fashingbauer

Good healthy food, but a bit over priced. Great friendly staff...excellent service.

Caio Rolim de Freitas

Great place for Sunday brunch. Excellent options and genuine French cuisine.

Alyssa Davis

The food was excellent, but everything we ordered came out a bit colder than we would have preferred. Service was also quite slow. After ordering drinks, it took 20 minutes before a server came to take our orders. Our meals came out over an hour later and we sat waiting another 20 minutes after the table was cleared for the dessert menu. But all of the food was amazing flavor wise.

Hilton Magier

Aquitaine is a fabulous restaurant portions are perfect, prices are right atmosphere is great. The food is fantastic. I visited many times in the South End, Chestnut Hill and in Dedham Very consistent, happy staff. it's one of my go-to places!

Bob Harrison

Great after theater dinner spot. Be sure to make reservations

Juliana Uribe

Nice place, good food, no wheelchair access

David Raissipour

Great service and the food was perfectly prepared

Thomas Kuchenreuther

5 stars! Came here for dinner on NYE. It was great, very nice environment and excellent service. The bartender was very helpful moving our bill to the table. She was calm and nice. Lots of wines to choose from. The dinner was excellent, food was very good! James was our server and he was prompt and helpful with the menu. They forgot to bring a side of frites with our main course but quickly resolved it by bringing some out and also comp'd them from our bill, which is always nice feeling. This is not the reason for a loss of star. The food and service of the restaurant was great. 5 stars, easy. The reason for the -1 star is because of the Valet situation. My car is a standard and there was only 1 valet working on NYE, understandable, but the valet could not drive a standard. (my car is a 2018 also, for reference). So after leaving my car with the valet, and coming inside to sit at the bar, the valet came in to track me down. Then, I had to go back out in the rain to move my car to a street parking spot that he cleared for me. When I got in the car, he must have stalled attempting to drive it, so I had to re-start the car. I still paid $25 for the valet 'parking spot' that i had to park into myself, which defeats the purpose of valet lol.. I could have just parked in the garage around the corner for a few bucks cheaper... which is what i will likely do next time. Or just Uber. How do you hire Valet without them knowing how to drive standard?! I understand that this may not be Aquitaines fault, but they use that valet for their restaurant so they should have some influence with how it is run.

Battaliondan

While my meal was tasty, the excruciatingly slow service was particularly inexcusable in the absence of other patrons

David Camacho

Doesn’t get 5 stars because recently having issues with kitchen. Chefs are venturing into cuisines other than straight forward French. They need to stick to what they’re known for: traditional bistrot French food. Very nice atmosphere but if you are looking for intimacy the place is cramped and your table’s conversation will be overheard. Their staff are wonderful and accommodating. Brunch on weekends is good and packed, although not necessarily French. This is always a good place to go for drinks at the bar (if you can nab a seat).

Gustavo Herrera

This place is amazing, no wonder it is still in business after so many years. Try the duck and escargot. You won’t be disappointed

Aisha Francis-Samuels

This is still one of my favorite places for a quiet business lunch. But the other day I went and the service was extremely slow although there were only five active tables and a few ppl at the bar. The duck breast Cobb salad was lovely. Just make sure you reserve this place for days when you have time for a long lingering lunch vs. a quick power lunch.

Brendan Fitchett

Great food and atmosphere. Try the lamb.

Jimmy Dee

Nice place but floors were slippery which means mopped with dirty water!

Kandragula Srikanth

Very good place for food.

clara märk

Pricey but good brunch menue and food and friendly staff, nice ambiente

Marcus Phan

Food was decent, so was service

Alexander Ortega

You've made it in life when you share, with your wife, a boujee plate of fries at a boujee restaurant!

brielle8383

Fabulous food, wonderful atmosphere, amazing service.

josh mather

Great place. I try to get there when I fly back into town. I almost missed it this trip. Stopped in with an hour to kill. Server was very accommodating. He made sure everything was out on time. The food is still out of this world. Kudos to the Chef. See you next time I come up. Thanks

Ames Shatzer

Great restaurant with fantastic food! However on a busy Sunday it can feel like they are trying to get you out the door.

David Hemingway

Anniversary dinner, first time here. Was great, great friendly service

Charles Barclay

Classic french bistro with good food and wine , its decor and service is wonderful but the price is more than you would pay in a more casual bistro. If you want to try some traditional French offering this is a good start.

C M

Expect a crowd here on a Friday night, and for good reasons. Bar service was excellent, and the desserts (whichever one you pick) are well worth coming here!

john corsetti

5 stats for the Russian bartender.

Trevor

The food, drinks, and service were all amazing. Everything was reasonably priced. The seating is comfortable and it's not too loud.

Barbara Douglas

Stopped in for brunch and had the Duck Hash & Eggs - Confit Duck Hash, Fried Eggs, Sriracha & a Mimosa, it was delish!

Anita Chang

Came here for lunch on Wednesday- not crowded, good for an intimate lunch or business meeting. Ambiance- open, bright, inviting, quintessential South End. Service- loved our waitress: helpful in recommendations, asked us our dining timeframe so she could be attentive without rushing us. Water was always filled. Our dessert came with a candle (we were celebrating a birthday). Food- DUCK PRESSE was tender and the side salad was light which complimented it well. Definitely recommend the CRISP CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING- it was moist, had a good texture (firm yet spongy and light), and was complimented well with the salted caramel ice cream. Will be back for brunch and dinner!

Zoe Yu

Excellent service and slightly above average food and drinks. Nice atmosphere. Will come back.

Ashley Lazarre

My best friends and I decided to come here and we had a terrible experience. We were seated and waited close to 20 mins before a server came to our table - we also watched other people being served that came after us. The staff seem to be more accommodating to frequent customers and residents of the area. It was not a busy night so we questioned the quality of our service - we had to ask our server for things multiple times which made us feel like we weren’t welcome and affected our experience there. Given that we were the only minority in the room who had to deal with poor service, we wonder if that’s the atmosphere at Aquitaine!

Chris Bailey

Delicious cocktails, food was great, cooked perfectly, portions were just the right size.

이지현

Not that delicious. Tastes a little bit strong not delicate

David Nowell

Good location, great service.

Gentian Duro

French flavour, enough said!

Simon Jordan

This was really good. Perfect food great service.

Julia Bruk

Really great food, professional service, classic/cozy atmosphere

Joe Allen

Simply delicious

Ben Butler

Impeccable service and a perfect meal. Started with a great take on clam chowder (an appetizer special that evening), and it turns out you can improve that dish, even in New England. Then, moved on to a perfect duck a la orange, cooked to just the right level of medium-rare with ideal seasoning and and a flavorful bed of greens. Enough really cannot be said about the service--friendly, and did not leave me wanting for anything for a moment. A 5 star experience for a fraction of the price.

linkutzanice

The place is so cute and cozy, food was yummy and the waitress was awesome! We loved it!

Shouhua Shang

The people here have no morals, the customers or the boss, I see him beating and attacking the lyft driver, I suggest stay away from here!

Shashwat Namdeo

Very nice ambiance and good service. Whent there for breakfast and their omelets are amazing. I would also recommend the pankackes.

James S

I've lived in Boston for 30+ years and have eaten at virtually every restaurant in the city. Aquitaine is the most consistently excellent and reasonably priced (for Boston, that is) restaurant in the area. The food and service are always top quality. I bring all my business colleagues here and am never disappointed.

Lindsay Brenner

Went with a large group for lunch (we had a reservation). Service was horribly slow. After all that waiting, my gnocchi dish only had 9 gnocchi in it!

Andrei Barbu

Always great and one of the best places in Boston for a date night. The decor is beautiful and the food is delicious. We always get the French onion soup which comes with amazing cheese. You'll never regret going here.

Amber Drane

Went by myself to get a glass of wine last night and was told by the hostess that I had to order food if I wanted a glass of wine (she told me it was state law that I had to have food with my drink). I personally believe I was refused service because I was a single person and they knew they’d make more money off of bigger groups, but that’s neither here nor there. Regardless, it’s sad that they made something up. Went to another wine place down the way and had a great time. UPDATE: I asked to be seated outside and was told about the state law. I then asked to be seated inside and the hostess said “no, we can’t do that either. Sorry, hun.”

Austin B

Fast service and good quality at Sunday brunch. Prices are a bit high, but the portion sizes were generous. Service was very attentive, even while sitting outside when it wasn't busy. Great menu selection and patio atmosphere.

Josh Meagher

All I can say is WOW. Saturday and Sunday brunch is incredible, service is great. Highly recommend.

Michael Zhang

Lovely food, polite/prompt waitress, and quaint atmosphere. This location is situated on a sleepy street near the South End. Although the restaurant and tables seemed slightly small, the food tasted enormous, as expected of fine French cuisine. And there's an extensive wine list by the glass or bottle.

Jonathan Stankiewicz

Great food, great service and one of my favorite brunch spots in Boston!

Elena Lucas

The serves was bad (mixed up our order). The food was cold! The spring pea soup was awful (cold and flavorless), the chicken and fish were dry. Really disappointed with the food quality. We used to visit this restaurant very often. The Aquitaine in Chestnut Hill last year was also very disappointing. Sad...

Vickie Masséus

My best friend and I made a reservation for 11:15am on our last morning in Boston before heading to the airport. We had a small duffel bag bc we just checked out of our hotel and had to catch a trip out of the city around 1:45pm. The hostess was super disrespectful and condescending when we informed her of our reservation. She rudely said we had no reservation while keeping her eyes on my duffel bag the entire time. When I corrected her and showed her the confirmation, she offered no apology. Instead, she told us that she had no table ready right now and didn’t offer a wait time. I watched her offer 3 other people a table who did not have any reservations. When it came to 11:15am, she sat two other couples who had later reservations and just ignored us the entire time. We were so looking forward to the brunch menu, but her complete disrespect and dismissive attitude turned me off so I eventually canceled my reservation. I don’t know if it’s because we were black or bc we had a small duffel bag. Our experience was not pleasant.

Jeanine Browne

Cozy French bistro with wonderful wine list. Staff friendly and courteous. Worth a visit to the South End and you will not be disappointed ❤️

Dawn Forbes

Wonderful food and spectacular service

Tiffany Kwong

One of my go-to brunch spots and have never been disappointed. When I can, I prefer to sit at the bar instead of the table, but service at either is fine.

Alissa Bourne

Excellent service + exquisite ambiance

Debasis Dasgupta

Fantastic food quality and by French restaurant standard, it was quite reasonable. Relatively small restaurant with a separate bar. Good wine. Appetizers are excellent. Main course had lots of choices.

Steve Huynh

Servers were friendly and attentive. It was a quaint spot to eat and great atmosphere; great spot for a date. The tables are small and close together however, so if it gets busy I'm sure things will get tight, so plan accordingly! The food was great; the portions on the appetizers are on the small side which is standard at more upscale restaurants. The entrees are pretty decent size and both things together will probably be enough to fill you up. Also parking is terrible but it's Boston, so parking anywhere and everywhere is terrible. Good luck this will probably be the hardest part!

Bill Carey

High end, quality food with associated prices. Seafood bouliabase was the closest to what you get in France that I've had in the states. Wonderful atmosphere and great bar for watching the world pass by in the south end.

Jeff Spires

Wonderful Sunday brunch. Sunny atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Sang Lee

Decent food and good service. Came here for lunch. Last time, I ate here was about a decade ago. Somehow, my impression of this joint is the same as then.

David Churbuck

Classic French bistro with all the right greatest hits and some added surprises. Brunch on the weekends is worth the wait and the new floorplan opened up the bar and some badly needed seating. Shrimp and grits were so so but the gruyere/wild mushroom omelet, the onion soup and the croque madame were perfect. Great bloody Mary's and craft cocktails.

Lorne R

Great service. Best time

Youngjae Choe

Went in on a Saturday for an early dinner with a last minute reservation. Prices are moderately expensive. Service was excellent, we really liked out server. Drinks were good, I had a sangria that was pretty strong. Appetizers were escargot and pate. Escargot very good, pate above average, pickled bits were delicious. Entrees were what disappointed me. The bouilliabase broth was very salty and felt grainy and thick. One of my mussels hadn't opened either. Short ribs were much better with the seasoning on first bite and fried shallots but after a few more bites I wished there were a bit more complexity in the flavor. I'd say this was a good or decent meal, but cost a lot for it. Again, top stars for service, just the food was a letdown.

Leslie Norman

Everything at Acquitaine is always delicious - food, drinks, dessert.

Alyson Roberts

Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent price point!

Rafael Del-Razo

Best french place in Boston, Chef Douglas Rodriguez creates some of the best dishes I ever had.

Eric Borlaug

Nice, classic feeling French bistro. Good brunch.

James Lindley

Aquitaine is of uneven quality. Six of us met there yesterday. Four ordered the paillard chicken. This is supposed to be a pounded chicken breast, seasoned and pan-fried. All four were terrible. They neither looked nor tasted like chicken. The texture was that of a ground patty. The meat (?) looked dark. It tasted like compressed spicy bread crumbs. Also, our server had an attitude. I didn't want to order a drink before the meal, so she took my wineglass and never asked again. When my wife tried to explain some confusion, the waitress became defensive and tried to explain how she (the waitress) had understood her rather than merely addressing the problem. I doubt if I will be returning.

sarah bg

Excellent brunch, creative cocktails. Make a reservation as it is popular for good reason.duck confit presse..mmm and a bloody mary with a good bite

Pierre Ghobrial

Beautiful, romantic, classy, delicious food and awesome service!

Darrel McLeod

Spectacular setting, customer service and quality of food and wine. I'll be back.

Eric Scott

Fantastic service and food to die for. A great dining experience in here. Highly recommended. I wish i had an option to give some additional stars

James McCarthy

Great brunch Duck Hache is awesome Benedicts as well. Service is the best

David Lyon & Patricia Harris

Perfect lunch for tasting wines of the Loire valley

Brett Will Taylor

Always love it here

Erich D.

Always a solid meal at Aquitaine. I went with an omelette today instead of the eggs Benedict, and it did not disappoint. Service was great as well.

Ernest Manin

Simply amazing and brilliant on a busy night. Great experience and will return

Marcus Hamblin

Gorgeous and tasty! Brunch here is ALMOST like going to Paris.

Syed Sulaiman Hasany

Great place, outdoor seating was nice for a warm summer evening.

Charlotte James

The service at Aquitaine is absolutely excellent. Our waiter was friendly, professional, and very happy to offer recommendations on the menu. Every course was delicious and the On the Eve cocktail I had was great too. Will definitely be back when I visit Boston next.

Amy Chavis

My husband and I frequent Aquitaine. We've done brunch and dinner. Get the French onion soup with a side of fries! The service is always fantastic, you will not be disappointed.

Ayesha Aleksov

Awesome omelettes!

Yoly Gomez

Great food and atmosphere

Steven Hargrave

I love French food and I loved Aquitaine.

Nicole BG

Great food, wine and mixed drinks

Lauren I

I've only been here for brunch, but I have been many times. It is very convenient for people living in the Chinatown area, but unfortunately the brunch menu is somewhat limited and the home fries are not very good. In my opinion, the best thing on the brunch menu is the egg sandwich and it is quite tasty.

kirk coy

Class and Good taste, a fine restaurant!

David Richards

Great ambiance, questionable service, very good food

Kayla Myros

You will not be disappointed, menu is delicious, staff is great, all around 5/5 dining experience.

Stephanie Janes

We had a great Sunday prix fixe brunch. $12 for coffee, juice, cinnamon bun, and an omelette. We made a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was very attentive and kept the water and coffee filled up. The only bad thing is parking in the area is challenging. Otherwise, we loved it!

Mark C.

What more can one ask for? Great food, great service, intimate atmosphere...and I met some new and older acquaintances...perfect!

Cristy

Every time we've gone to Aquitaine we've sat at the bar. Love the quaintness of it. Bartenders have always been friendly. Food is consistently good. Would recommend trying this restaurant out!

Jimmy B

I have never been so insulted by a restaurant in my life.... my friend and I went there for drinks to catch up and the bartender was very friendly and the place was empty so we kept the bartender company and was very sweet, kept offering to refill our glasses of prosecco and everything was fine. The place was not busy at all and we were really the only ones at the bar for 2-3 hours, another friend arrived and we were going to get another glass before we walked across the street for a late dinner.. well to our surprise the bartender stated “manager said we can no longer service you another glass as we have cut you off”... we were there for 2-3 hours and spaced out our tiny glasses of prosecco so we were completely fine nor were we loud. We ask to speak to the manager to ask what the issue is, and i quote “we cannot serve you anymore because if you left and something happened I would be responsible but we are not kicking you out just careful about your wellbeing”..... this completely baffled my friend and I because we were not taking shots or drinking hard liquor and it was just prosecco and were just having dinner across the street so no one was driving even though we were completely sober because we spaced drinks out over a course of a few hours. Then the manager said it was her and the bartender’s decision to no longer serve us.. well funny because the bartender was involving herself in our convos and being kind and kept refilling so suddenly now after 2-3 hours we were being cut off?? Extremely embarrassing and appalling.. we will never go here again, the manager and bartender were out of line as we were not causing any issues and were not drinking heavy liquor.. they should have been appreciative we even showed up and spent our money there because the place was empty anyways.. manager was out of line and extremely rude about the situation.. NEVER AGAIN! I’ll stick to Stephi’s and Gaslight and Stella.. bye Aquitaine in the Southend!

Alan Peoples

Great food. Good service.

Edward Li

The place ended up being only so-so. Don't get me wrong the food was great. But the portions were dainty without purpose other than for the sake of being dainty and some of the flavors didn't quite work together.

NANCY HASSELL

Very nice French ambiance. Very welcoming new new manager, Alexis, who was very available. Waiter was charming. The escargots were “nuclear”, Parmesan fused to pan, so hot they list all flavor. The waiting time may be a tip-off. The fish was nicely presented but overcooked-not sure why fish was encrusted when the “nature” method is just fine. The mousse au chocolat was very nice.

Roman Boychenko

Exquisite food, delicious drinks. And very nice atmosphere. This is one of our "go-to" places in the area.

Steven Bishop

The Eggs Benedict were just okay. Probably won’t go back for Brunch but will definitely give dinner a try!

Eunice Giarta Hon

went here for brunch with a medium-sized group of people; packed but the wait wasn't too bad. food and service were great and they were able to cater to my special requests. highly recommend!

David Andrick

AMAZING food! My new favorite.

Gabriele Manganaro

Great food. Very nice ambiance. Friendly service.

M G

Madame Defarge will be manning the bar, so enter if you enjoy being treated like unwelcome street urchins. With our 5pm reservation, especially made to celebrate our 12 year wedding anniversary, paying homage to our first trip overseas together to Paris, we entered. When questioned by her I stated we had a reservation for 5, it was about 4:50. She informed us that the kitchen was closed and there was no place for us. So I asked if there was a spot where we could wait, the whole place was empty except the full bar and she said no we couldn't be seated anywhere. I sarcastically asked if we should just hang out at the bar and she said that was fine but of course I would not with my child! Then she came to look at the book and asked if we had a reservation and I told her again yes we were there to celebrate our anniversary. She said coldly and carelessly well they are having a meeting in the dining room so you have to wait. My husband walked in from parking the car and couldn't understand why we were left standing there like that. So he suggested we sit down at one of the empty tables and wait until "exactly 5." At 5, I went over to the maitre d and asked her if she realized we were just left to sit there and noticed us. She said she didn't, even though she saw us and never offered an apology. She said someone should be coming over soon! My husband had had enough and it ruined any hopes of a worthy evening. The manager finally showed up and instead of him apologizing and offering to make it up, he said they were lucky to have the hostess there and she was gracious enough to be helping them out tonight! Well I guess they need all the help they can get but I should never have had to be bothered with that information. Sit your hostess down and cater to her dinner whimsy because we were done.

Matthew Ballou

Great food and fantastic service. The dishes were cooked to perfection and the flavors were fabulous. The service staff were attentive polite patient and professional. The manager was a great host.

Sam Coleman

Traditional French food. Wonderful waiter suggested the Mussels. I am glad he did. Fries made me think, for a moment, I was back in Paris. Don’t miss this place!!!

Izzy Goldsmith

All I can say is the bartenders rock!!!! I great place to drink with a few friends.

Luke

Bit pricey but worth it and a beautiful place with a really nice bartender /server

Frank Pulito

Incredible. Arguably my favorite meal outside of Vegas. Flavor and texture artfully combined. Worth every dollar.

Andrew Potenza

Nice place, food was okay, service was okay. Wouldn’t put it atop my recommendation list but it’s good for drinks.

Heather Davis

Excellent food. I had the duck Condit in a grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich was paired south a lightly dressed salad that was a perfect compliment to the deliciously oily/buttery sandwich.

Edwin Gaston

Delicious "french" styled food and just an awesome location, if you can get a seat (:

Haji Gul

I love they're dessert
