Always love this place. Weather we eat in, or call in and pick it up...always great. I don't typically like beans, but these are great. Get the trio. You won't be let down. Quiet environment. Sports and other options on TVs above tended bar. The bar isn't crazy busy, so you can enjoy the TVs from a distant table and still hear. I don't drink, so I like that aspect. Polite staff, quick service.

Every time we come here we have an excellent experience. The staff are all very friendly. The chili con queso is good, the salsa is delicious, everything we've had has been tasty! We've almost never had to wait, only on cinco de mayo and even then it was only a few minutes. Love this place.

It's a perfect 3.5 place. It was a 5.0 when it first opened in 2006. Occasionally it still is, but it's really hit or miss which makes it a 3.5. Still enjoyable nonetheless.

As a Mexican, I was honestly really disappointed in the quality of the food. I thought it was supposed to be authentic Mexican food but clearly the only authenticity of this restaurant are the really sweet employees. Customer service was great but if I could rate the food, it would be negative five stars FOR SURE!

Friendly and attentive staff, but the interior was dated, dark, and in need of a renovation. Our appetizer and meals were bland and tasted as if everything came out of a jar/can. We're hoping to give this place a second chance as we just moved to the area and love Mexican food.

Bartender was quite unattentive. Spent most of his time at the extreme end of the bar, talking to other guests. Did not even introduce himself. Besides a fruit fly in my drink...which no one has control over I guess, there was girl in a green shirt who was unapologetically putting on a peel off mask (while patting her face) by the drink station and talking to the bartender! Yikes!!! Food was okay, luke warm....Oh well, it’s not fine dining, but sheesh!

The most delicious Mexican meals. Right in the heart of Quincy where parking is sometimes tricky. The restaurant itself is quite large so I've always been able to get a seat. The staff are excellent and knowledgeable about the menu. Definately try the made to order guacamole tableside. The drinks are pretty good like the El Presendente...do savor the taste. I haven't tried to many things food wise but the dishes I did have were fantastic. I have been to other locations where the food was mediocre. Worth a try if you love mexican foods.

I love this place located in Quincy Center. I do not eat Mexican food but love the decor and they have the best warm tortilla chips with delicious salsa. If you do not eat Mexican food order their cheeseburger with french fries. It is the best burger I have ever gotten for that little money. I wish I could remember the name of the waitress we generally get when we go in on a Saturday afternoon but she is absolutely wonderful!

I love this restaurant. The food is always reliably delicious and caringly prepared. The servers are usually people who have been with the restaurant for a long time so they're both knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer questions but also great at making helpful suggestions based upon your personal tastes. I've never had a bad meal. The prices are very reasonable and the servings are very generous. Of course, each visit begins with a complimentary basket of tortilla chips and freshly made salsa so it's already comfort food Nirvana before reading the menu. After work it can be a little busy and a little loud but the ambiance is comfortable and casual. BTW please try the mojitos... They're delicious. Yes, yes, and yes to Acapulco's in Quincy.. you'll be glad you went!

I want to like this place, I really do. Went for Rita's one time before meeting up with a larger group elsewhere for dinner. The drinks were so syrupy and sweet it was a headache in a glass. I can't comment on their food because I can't come up with a reason to give them another chance. Also, they were out of the ingredients to make half the drinks on the menu. Go to la Paloma in North Quincy instead.

The place is huge and might be more lively if come for dinner and margaritas. I happened to drop in for some lunch craving for some quesadillas which was quite good actually no complaints, my guest ordered a combo option we were worried about the portion size but it was quite heavy. Food is good, nice ambience setting.

They've had the same specials since I moved to Quincy 8 years ago. Would not recommend the mole sauce, not their strongest dish, but you can never go wrong with fajitas and tacos!

Horrible.. not even a plastic forks to eat my to go order.. I used to go to the one in Jamaica plain but I was in the area so I tried it and I wish I didn't.. I spent more time picking over the platter than I did eating it .. I asked for a shredded chicken enchilada but instead the chicken was mixed with chunks instead of shredded chicken ..maybe if I was a dine in customer my food would have been presented properly but dining in or out one should recieve the same degree of service #neveragain

I live close by and can say this location can be very hit or miss. Some nights everything is great, some nights the food sucks, the drinks taste watered down, and they are severely understaffed resulting in long waits. Seems to be quite random when this happens, so hope you get a good night if you go.

Not sure why people are complaining so much about the prices considering the quality and taste. This isn't Taco Bell, by any means, so expect to pay about 7-13 per plate. I love the Fajita wrap burrito with steak. Their service is fairly quick so long as they're not busy. Portions are decent for the price. Parking is the worst part as you have a single side street close by, a few streets over there is free parking or there is a paid parking lot down the street (bit of a walk).

A great place to go to satisfy that Mexican craving when you don't care whether or not it's authentic. Food is predictable but still tasty and it's very reasonably priced. The staff is VERY friendly and the atmosphere is decent. Been here several times and no complaints. They have lots of seating so it's usually not a problem to get seated quickly. Their homemade salsa is pretty good. I recommend this place for quick, cheap, tasty Mexican but not if you're looking for something authentic.

It looks as if there is new management because the service has gone from excellent to very poor service. I personally will no longer spend my money at this place. The food was good but my experience was not. I came into to have a cocktail and meal at the bar. The 2 bartender/servers were more interested in flirting with each other behind the bar than paying attention to the patrons. First my drink order was made incorrectly and although the drink was made over, the bartender had a snooty attitude towards me from that point on. 10 minutes after my food arrives the female bartender/server comes over and asks to take my glass which was still more than half way filled with my cocktail and asked to take my plate of which most of my was food still on there. I felt rushed to hurry up and leave when I had only been there about 30 minutes. When I asked for the bill, they already had it printed and tucked in front of my seat!!?? I will not be returning or recommending this establishment as the service and treatment was very poor.
