I found this place by accident, and I'm so glad I did! The owner was very friendly and talked to us while we were waiting for our order. I can't even pick my favorite meat, they were all delicious. All the sauces made everything taste even better! We got potato salad, mashed potatoes, and mac n' cheese as our sides. I gotta say, I'm usually not impressed with restaurant sides. I find them to usually be mediocre, at best. 2 Jerks had some of the tastiest potato salad I've ever had. The mac n' cheese was flavorful and creamy, and the mashed was buttery and delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Yay! A fantastic BBQ restaurant with craft cocktails in Bristol County! I ordered a cocktail that has garden in the title- don’t quite remember the name- it was like Tito’s vodka and herbs basically, it was very good. And I’ve been ordering the pulled pork, because I can’t get enough. The BBQ sauces and mustard sauce are very good. They also have pies that I have not yet had, but look very good. The atmosphere is great- kind of a country chic with old license plates on the wall and lots of wood. I’ve had the same waitress each time I’ve gone and she is delightful as very helpful. The only thing I would change about the place is that they’d keep the bar open later- I would love to make this my place to go and get a drink as well as a delicious restaurant. I highly recommend.

Great Bar-B-Q and all the sides. I always end up on taking some home, because I want to eat so many things on the menu. Every app and every main dish I've had has been excellent and the staff is friendly and the service is very good. We often have family dinners there on Sunday and everyone loves it.

It was my first time, the tator tot casserole. Was very good but the ribs and briskit were dry and tasless, the service was terrible i only saw the waitress when i ordered and when i got my bill she never asked how everything was or offered to get. Me another drink, i will not be going back.

Food is outstanding. Portions are very generous. Setting is cozy. Prices are pretty good for what you get. Service is fast and accommodating. My only gripe, and its bit rough to lower my rating, is that the windows don't have blinds, so certain times of afternoon can be a little uncomfortable in certain seating areas because of the sun blaring in your eyes.

Incredible food and service. Great menu I recommend the pulled chicken sandwich served on a brioche bun with coleslaw and French fries. Also the brisket and black truffle mac and cheese. Full sized pies and deserts can be found waiting in a glasses in section near the bar which is spacious and great liquor selection. Atmosphere and staff are friendly and all sorts of barbecue classics and comfort food like chicken fried steak and Rueben sandwich. Located and visible right off main road with adequate parking lot provided.

Try the tots and gravy, truly tasty, I get it without cheese curds. All of the barbecue is made to be eaten with there different sauces that are at the tables. Also paper towels at tables too. There is a desert place next door ,Desert Diner, try there cashew muffins that are next to register. Also there 7 layer bars are so good.

In that particular area, youde be hard pressed to find a good meal with a decent atmosphere, but this spot satisfies. Not fine dining, but it definitely hits that good ole soul food mark, right on the head. I recommend the brisket, it was deliciously satisfying.

An overrated food thought I was in for a treat . No ribs no pulled pork no chicken etc so I went for the brisket .it was a letdown overcooked the complimentary corn bread was burnt that was sad because what I could taste it was a good corn bread old fashioned style even had corn in it . The other patrons at my table felt that everything was overstated beyond belief. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

This was our first time at 2 Jerks BBQ. Will not be our last. Waitress was very attentive. Inside was clean. Food was delicious. I recommend the Tots and Gravy. To die for!

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. We used to order from there often but the last time that we placed an order they forgot part of the order. When we attempted to get the missing portions that weee paid for they told us, “I think that it was in there so there’s nothing to be done.” They then immediately hung up. They also charge $1 for each bun that you request. A family meal costs about $80 then they charge $8 for a pack of buns that cost them $2. The “family sized” sides are enough for 1 or 2 people at the most. Way over priced. We will never order from them again.

We went here last weekend after wanting to for a while from seeing it on Phantom Gourmet. It was really good, I had the fried chicken sandwich and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich. Went on Saturday at about 7-730pm. They were out of Ribs, Beef Ribs and Pulled Pork. Disappointed with that but did see they had beef brisket so decided to stay. It was very good. Tender. Portions of everything are big! You shouldn't leave hungry! Pickles are delicious. The cucumber salad is good but wish it had red onions instead of white. Sauces are very good. May go back to try the pulled pork which is my favorite in bbq food. I just hope they have it. Would recommend this place.

They're BBQ is good but the real reason we come to 2 Jerks is the specials. The one pictured is Detroit style pepperoni pizza and barbecued lobster (half of it's missing in the photo because I took the pic after we started eating). Check them out on their social media account to see what specials they are having before you go. Even if you don't get the special, I have not been disappointed by anything on the regular menu so your good either way.

Stop by for lunch, sat at the bar and ordered a half chicken with Mac n cheese and brussel sprouts. Chicken was very good along with the Mac n cheese. The brussel sprouts were a little salty. After reading the description of them, I should have expected that seeing that they had chunks of ham cooked with the sprouts. Staff was great. They were chatting with the regulars but they never got distracted from doing there job and they did it with a friendly smile and a good attitude. I will be back to try some of their other things.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. Nice beer selection, good recommendations. Had the special, scallop and bacon flat bread. Was afraid the cheese would overwhelm the scallops, but it was nicely balanced. Good grill flavor on the scallops and the thick chunks of bacon were crispy outside and juice inside. Looking forward to a return visit!

I was in the area, curious and since I hadn’t had breakfast and it was lunch time I thought why not? I went in I asked if they did take out the bar tender said, yes. I ordered the half chicken with mac and cheese, I ask how long she said, seven minutes. I proceeded to take a seat ordered a cilantro cooler. She muddled lime with cilantro and added what I thought was the usual alcoholic ingredients. Until I tasted it. Yuck! It tasted like alcohol, ice and water much like her attitude. The actual meal wasn’t much better. The rub was on the skin but never got to the actual meat which rendered it bland once you remove the skin. When I got home I added black pepper to the mac and cheese to make it edible but it couldn’t be saved. Too bad, I was looking for a good bbq spot. I know this is not the south but there has to be a good bbq place in Massachusetts.

TAKE OUT Just ordered the chicken fried chicken dinner. It was 2 huge chicken breasts with the best breading fried beautifully, great mashed potatoes and a delicious brown gravy. Enough for two dinners. It was amazing. Every time I visit for dinner the food is awesome. Seriously...every time.

If you like southern comfort food you'll love this place. The steak tips were on point melted in my mouth and I got them well done! The atmosphere was cool our server was amazing. However you only got one side with the steak tips. They didn't have any healthy alternatives for veggies, so I couldn't even order a side of say broccoli or string beans to go with my steak tips and mashed potatoes. Fair warning the cornbread has pieces of corn which threw me off and the butter had honey in it. Too sweet for me. My husband got the collard greens I tried them they were fantastic and I'm really picky about who's collard greens I eat. I guess next time i get the steak tips i could get the greens...lol my hubby got the ribs with a rub on them I hate rubs, but these were delicious. If your in the mood for southern comfort food this would be your place.

Stopped here on the way home from Cape Cod. The food was very good and filling. For a Sunday it seemed pretty busy as there were a few large parties. Our waitress was very polite and energetic. Would definitely return next time I'm in the area.

The food was out of this world. The portions certainly were impressive. One platter could most likely feed two comfortably. Having feasted on barbecue in Memphis on numerous occassions I was not prepared to be blown away by the quality and flavors. Simply stated this was significantly better than any I have had. The brisquet literally melts in your mouth! The dry rub ribs were meaty and delicious and the service was spot on. Can't wait to go back!

Really amazing food and lots of it. Bring allot of people and come hungry. Sausage is smoky and mild. Chicken is juicy and tender. Brisket is flavorful and the cornbread is pretty damn good too. Waitstaff is always fast and friendly. Have to check it out if you like real barbecue

My favorite here is the dry rub St. Louis ribs. Very meaty. There is also a lot of smoke in the brisket. So it is another great choice. An interesting side fixin is the shishito peppers though they are a bit salty.

Nice cozy place. The service was nice, I loved to warn corn bread they served us. The food portions are so big and the food is delicious. I got the half smoked chicken, it was flavorful, I wish the skin was cooked more so it can be a bit more crispy but that was my only complain. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their meals. Definitely a nice place to go when in the mood for some nice barbecue!

I had the ribs, dry, and my wife had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were very good. I would recommend eating there to anyone. Overall, we were very satisfied. My wife says her sandwich was amazing. The ribs could have used a little more brining and longer in the smoker, they were a bit dry, even for dry rubbed. I've traveled the entire country with my job, so I've had a lot of ribs to compare too. You could tell they weren't smoked very long because it was a very mild flavor and the color didn't penetrate the meat much. They were delicious and perfectly tender, just some room for improvement. The best part of the meal was the cornbread at the beginning. Some of the best cornbread I've ever had. Probably top ten. Actually tasted like corn, was moist, and had whole corn kernels in it. Warmed up enough to melt the butter. The cornbread was worth the meal by itself. In my opinion, the Carolina mustard sauce was the winner of the four available options. The others were good, the mustard was best.

My son took me, my husband and our 7 year old daughter here for a birthday/anniversary dinner. The food is delicious, not as hot as we would like it, but delicious. We each ordered the two meat plate which came with two sides. The 7 year old got chicken and fries. The sides I went with were fried brussel sprouts with ham and sweet potato fries. Both were amazing. I would have liked the sprouts a little more done, that's my preference.

Great food! Got the giant sampler and it was great. Every meat tasted great and was cooked perfect. Good selection of sides, I chose the collard greens and brussel sprouts which were amazing, baked beans and coleslaw were good. Wished I got the mac and cheese but that will be next time. They had a pretty good beer selection, and it looks like they rotate. They look like they have a large fresh desert selection also but I was too full to try anything. If you get the "whole pit" sampler you'll understand.

I have only been there for lunch, but each time the food has been outstanding. Service is fast, and friendly. The menu offers traditional BBQ fare and some well done interpretations of Southern cuisine. Each main dish and/or side dish stands on its own...excellent presentation, perfect seasonings, and cooked to perfection. A definite recommend.

Went on a Saturday night. Place was crowded, bar staff was overwhelmed. Waited at the bar for at least 10 mins, couldn’t get anyone to even acknowledge my presence. Gave up, sat outside waiting for our table to be ready. Such a waste of revenue. Pickles are great, cucumber salad is too. Enjoyed the fries too. The meat: we had pulled pork, ribs, both dry and wet, and brisket. Found the brisket to be a bit dry. The ribs were ok, but not falling off the bone as I would like them to be. The pulled pork was ok as well. In summary, I thought the meal was ok, drink service lacking. While nothing was bad here, there was also nothing to make me rush back for more.

Stopped here randomly on my way to the Cape... BEST FOOD EVER !! The service was awesome, bathroom very clean, the resturant was clean and decorated great... But the food... It was so good. I love bbq ,eat it often, this place hands down takes the cake. The mac and cheese is perfection, and the Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had. The meats were amazing too. The smell just from the parking lot is intoxicating. The flavors are delicious, and it tastes like food your grandma would make for you. The wait to sit and the wait to eat were above my expectation for how busy they were (less than 90 minutes from arriving to leaving). I will definitely be back. Pulled pork is to die for! I've gotten take out twice since I first came here, and it's just as fantastic as having it served in the restaurant. Absolute must try for any BBQ or meat lover!

Two Jerks is a local gem, and I'm so happy to have discovered it! All too often, barbecue joints in the North do, at most, one thing well. This is not the case at Two Jerks: the pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and hot links are all delicious. The sides are fantastic, too, with the collards being a particular standout. The food has a slight Asian inflection evident in the rubs (and in the availability of shishito peppers as a side), and this adds a delightful level of depth and complexity without overwhelming the smokiness of the meats. The meat is so flavorful, in fact, that I always struggle to decide whether or not to use the house-made sauces, tasty as they are. The only thing less than stellar is the corn bread, which is fine but overly sweet for this reviewer's palate. My only actual grievance is that they don't sell burnt ends, so one just has to hope to get lucky in with the brisket distribution.

Food, drinks, and staff were great! We both got the 2 meat platter (tried the chicken & brisket, and the brisket & hot links) with sides. There was a wait for Saturday dinner, but it wasn't too bad. The pies in the display counter looked good; we took a slice home for later (so full). We will definitely be back to try some more menu items!

I thought the food was absolutely wonderful but this is not why I am giving this restaurant one star. This is not a family friendly restaurant. I went in tonight with my family and the older woman behind us started to reprimand my 4 year old daughter for “yelling”, which she wasn’t. Everyone was watching as we started to argue across tables. No staff intervened. I took my daughter out of there while my husband and sister- in -law wrapped up and paid. I NEVER plan to eat here again with the type of clientele this place keeps. So sad because the food was great.

Greeted with homemade corn bread (on the sweet side served luke-warm with butter, yum). I got talked into ordering the ramen on this snowy day (surprisingly good, served with a whole egg sliced in half with 2 pieces of pork that were charred on one side before marinating in the sweet broth). Very small portion for $11 but it was good. Bbq- 2 meat platter Dry rub ribs- small, seasoned well but a little dry (not many people in here early evening Saturday). Not super smoky but a touch of smoke helped with the sweet rub. Brisket- again, seasoned well but a bit dry. Brussel sprouts- not really a brussel sprout guy but these were very good. Light char on the outside, marinated in something delicious... def need 2 try these. Mac and cheese- good but nothing special Service- had 2 very attentive waitresses that continued to check in on me but could tell I didnt want to talk much and gave me my space (while I wrote this review). My bill $36 before tip... probably wont be back cuz this is a hike, but if I do I wanna check out the fried chicken that phantom gourmet highlighted.

Have gone down hill in the last few months. The brisket was not cooked long enough and the sweet tea is no longer sweet or drinks let tea. Best BBQ I've have north of theMason-Dixon line. Brisket was tender, cornbread with great, true Southern sweet tea. Would definitely recommend!
