The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. We had the deep fried dumplings (Chinese menu), beef fried rice (Chinese menu) and spicy stir fried octopus (Korean seafood menu). Food came promptly and was delicious. I haven't had tofu or kimchi quite this good in a while. Can't show up here too often but I definitely want to come back. The portions are pretty big. After dinner we brought home a full day's worth of meals. The leftovers continue to taste amazing.

Just used DoorDash for the first time to order from here since I couldn't leave the house where I was babysitting. I thought I wouldn't receive side dishes or chopsticks because it was delivery, but I was surprised and extremely happy to receive both! Woochon is number 1 for flavor, friendliness, and generosity. If I could rate it an additional 5 stars, I would!

Location: Easy to find during the day. Harder in the evening. Parking: Available but limited Food: After living in korea town in Los Angeles, CA for over 3 years, I did not think that I would find a place that would closely resemble the mom and pop shops. Food was good. I ordered the seafood hot pot soup (soondubu), wish they had beef (galbi) but it was tasty. Spice level was on the lower end but they did have torgarashi to make it spicier. I ordered the bibimbap but it was not in a hot pot which was okay but not great. Service: fast and friendly

Absolutely outstanding!!! Authentic Korean, Japanese, and Chinese food without breaking the bank. Definitely coming back, my wife and I have been looking for some authentic Asian cuisine since leaving Chinatown in New York a year ago and this is the place. Don't let the appearance fool you its definitely worth it.

We ordered the Korean BBQ meal and it was cooked in front of us at the table. The food was good and had great flavor. I preferred all the hot items served. The cold side dishes were decent. It was definitely a new experience as I've never had authentic Korean food. The 4 star rating is due to the inside atmosphere and exterior as it is a hole in the wall style restaurant and has not been updated in a long time. I feel like the prices are high enough that they should be able to pay for some updates and make the atmosphere a little nicer inside and out.

Great authentic Korean food. Though I never understood why Korean restaurant insist in making a version of potato or macaroni salad? Portion size are large which give you additional value for your money.

Great Korean food on a pretty random part of town. I ordered the KimChi stew and I thought the food was great, rich and quick. It came with plenty of side dishes too which were excellent. Really authentic stuff here. It could definitely use updates on decor and aesthetics both inside and outside.

My girlfriend and I are eating here now and loving the food. Big side dish portions and huge lunch special plates. Korean flavors are both familiar and delicious. The lady that served us is very friendly. Here is the thing: Don't judge a book by its cover. Needs a serious remodel but the food is good, very good. A must visit if you are in the area. Love the portions.

This was my third time eating here. Food is wonderful, staff is very polite. Our waitress helped us with the proper pronunciation of each meal even and have recomendations. It doesn't look like much from the outside but boy is it delicious. Lunch specials (before 230pm) are very well priced. I recommend the bulgogi, monkfish hotpot, or the black goat hotpot.

Terrible Called to make sure they would be open when I arrived and check some prices (as they have no menu posted). After driving 25 mins, I arrive and they claim to be closed (almost 40min before thier posted closing time...). The lady tells me kitchen done then shoos me out the door. I could hear her lock it behind me...

One of the worst Korean restaurants I have been in last 10 years. As I walked in, the mysterious smell hit me in the first place. While i was waiting on my food which was Yookgaejang, the server got me 8 different side dishes and none of them were fresh, looked like a week old or more. Moreover, it was full of fruit flies which made me really busy trying to go after them. As expected, the food i ordered tasted really bad, ingredient in the food was poorly prepared and served. I was so hungry but i was not able to eat the quarter of it :(.

You'd drive right by and not stop, but boy are you missing out! Amazing customer service by the nicest ladies. The food is top notch! We got the half bbq, it came with so much meat. The meat was cut fresh at your table and cooked to order. Get past the look of the the building and enjoy the amazing food!

Anyone thinking of ordering from this place should STRONGLY consider ordering elsewhere. Being of Korean descent, I have a pretty good frame of reference for quality. The quality is very low, 20 dollars for 7 pieces of bulgogi, and the worst customer service ever experienced. I do not recommend this place in ANY capacity.

Usually love this place have been going here for a very long time, but went in recently and the waiter pressed me for a tip now usually i tip With no problem but lately i feel There is no need to tip because the service is not always that great but anyway the waiter was very disrespectful when she saw i didnt Tip her the amount she wanted and before signed the receipt she said i work for tips. 1- i was Already planning on tipping. But you will not force me to tip you if i dont Want too. If the service is not super spectacular no i will Not tip you like wth. I felt Very disrespected and put in an very bad space she wouldn’t even let me leave the table without seeing how much of a tip i left Her as she proceeded to put me down as if i was A child like that is completely unacceptable.

10/26/2015 Previous review Great authentic Korean food. The lunch specials are the best. Huge portions for $10. And they come with a variety of ban chan (side dishes). My lunch favorite is the spicy pork bulgogi. Sometimes it can be almost too spicy for my American palate, even after 5 years in Korea. But the flavor is always great! The dinner prices are a little steep, but the food is still good and the side dishes are more numerous and refillable. At dinner we prefer to get the Chinese dishes like sweet & sour pork, fried rice, and maybe a nice hot Korean soup. If it gets crowded service can suffer a bit because they only have a couple of wait staff. The building and furnishings are also old, but overall the food is worth it. Sometimes they change up my usual lunch combo of spicy pork, rice, salad, soup, and fried dumplings by replacing the dumplings with fresh kimbop. One of the most authentic kimbops I've had in America. Yum!

I never had Korean before, I went with a group from work. So glad I did! BEST dumplings I’ve ever had, fried ones are great, but steamed ones are even better. BBQ was amazing! Staff was great. Thank you Woo Chon for a delicious dinner!
