I have ordered Tuna sandwiches, it was so bad taste and the bread wasn't fresh and dry, when i approached the supervisor I got a response that's the sandwich they serve.... Very disappointing especially as I live nearby

Nice little European style bakery with a well rounded food and coffee menu.

You have to try the new Kouign-Amann. It's beyond amazing, that's me and almost half a dozen of my co-workers. Customer service is excellent too (+1 for Virginia Demian)

A lot of choices. I have not found any of them exceptional.

I LOVE this place! I just moved to the area and I've been here several times already. Awesome choice for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. It helps that each time, I've been treated so well by the staff! (Keep it up guys! I love it!) Prices and food quality beat Starbucks by a long shot, imo. Tip for the restaurant: don't make the Tomato, Mozzarella, and Basil sandwich a seasonal item, it's TOO GOOD! Lol

Authentic pâtisserie ! I would say only the pricing is American because it tastes as good as in France . The location is great since its downtown Rockville, the cashiers and bakers are very knowledgeable of their products. A great franchise !

Only had a baguette but it was wonderful

If you’re in the mood for danishes or croissants, you should consider this place! The bread looked so tasty, and the sweets my partner and I bought were delicious, with unexpectedly refined flavors. The croissant-wrapped hot dogs are great and juicy, and would be a good choice for adults and picky kids alike. The only downside is that it’s somewhat expensive, but it all definitely seems fresh and carefully prepared. If you’re in the area, consider Vie de France!

Good French bakery, good taste and lovely atmosphere though have only patio seats not inside. Coffee, on the other hand, taste not great esp Latte don't feel coffee at all.

**This is a little bakery cafe that offers take out only, meaning that there's no dining tables inside** Variety of selections including croissants, cookies, brownies, cakes, and salads. They have the best sugar cookies in the world, although they get sold out so quickly that there usually aren't any left if I go in after 3-4pm. Delicious macarons for a good price too!(6 for 10 :). they used to be too hard sometimes, but now they are soft like they were just made)

Good thing this place isn't in St. Louis or I might be overconsuming calories. We have bakeries claiming to be French in St. Louis, but this one seems as authentic as can be, wow! My friend and I chose their mini almond Palmiers dusted with powdered sugar. Delicious, they never made it home! More than anything, I would recommend their muffin-shaped croissant... not sure what it is called but it has three separate, pull-apart sections: strawberry, chocolate and cream. We got the last one. No wonder they were cleaned out.

Delicious food, I'm in love with the roast beef with herb cream cheese spread.

European style bakery, with lots of puff pastry options and other bake treats. Apple turnovers and chocolate croissants are great

Isadora Kaufman

The deserts were terrible. The chocolate mousse tasted like soap and was more bitter than the tiramisu.

Everything i ordered was fresh and delicious!!! Very homey like feel and clean! Ill definitely be visiting again!

I want to like this place, but the lunchtime options just haven't been particularly impressive.

Amazing, delicious pastries.

Oh! How I miss this bakery. The pastries are delightful and decently priced. With Starbucks right next door, I think this is a smarter choice. Both for price and quality.

Naïde Obiang

My Saturday ritual. The best madeleine in town.

I honestly enjoyed the dishes and service, awesome location right next to my residence. The employees are always very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Isabelle Ku

Yummy pastries and friendly service. Also, if they don't give you a receipt, your purchase is free. They have a relatively small selection here, but the quality is very good. My sister got a Napoleon and it was soft and tasty. Their chocolate almond croissant could have a bit more filling, but otherwise very good. Would come here again.

David Depaz

This place is great! Good breakfast sandwiches and coffee.

Ari Nordström

Great sandwiches.

Updated selections recently. I am happy every time I choose something!

Good selection. Try the crepes.

Service isn't great. Had the chocolate cake and it was stale with too much caramel so it was too sweet. Better 'French' pastries at La Madeleine.

Christopher Santos

My new favorite Boulangerie. On a good day, there is no bread for dinner because it won't survive the drive.

Everyone has their favorite pasty... and vie de france has all of them. I love all the croissants and the lunch sandwiches. Not great for bagels in my opinion. Always great service and cute outdoor tables.
