The service was a little slow to start, but we saw the manager recognize the issue and get the server on it. Our order was taken and drinks flowed promptly from there. Our order took a while and finally came to the table and was not exactly what was ordered, but we were hungry and pressed on.

Great location. Mediocre service. Our party of 5 was given an outside table in a remote corner. It was cold outside and there were no heaters in this area. Ordered table.aide guacamole but it took forever to be served, and by that time, they had run out of chips! Whatever food was served became cold very quickly because of the cold weather. Very disppointed.

Really good if somewhat pricey Mexican food in One Loudoun. Good service and a festive atmosphere. The table side-made fresh guacamole is the best I’ve ever eaten and the green chili burritos were out of this world.

I would love to review the food here but after waiting 90 minutes for it to come, I left without eating. I was with a group of coworkers at lunchtime. We were sat quickly and our drink order was taken right away. It took a long time for the drinks to arrive which as they were all non alcoholic was not acceptable. Our food orders were then taken. About 45 minutes later a little over half our food came out. The rest never did. Then the bill was completely wrong. Finally they did not charge us for anything but several of us did not get our food. Terrible experience.

Open seating in the bar area. Server was quick to take my order and refill drinks. Chips and salsa were served immediately. I ordered tamales 1/2 chicken, 1/2 pork. Small, but delicious!! I will go there again.

Love their chips and salsa; however, yesterday's salsa somehow lacked the usually smoky spiciness. My Cobb Salad was simple but delicious and my DH enjoyed the Carne Asada he ordered. Our server was courteous and attentive. They make their tortillas from scratch, which is a bonus. Overall a solid place for some TexMex fare.

First and last time customer.. Bad service... asked 3 times for water never received it. Was my wife’s birthday.. so had high hopes for a good time ......but not to be! 10$ for a very little margarita that was 80% ice!! Waited forever for the food Have had frozen food that tasted better So we cancelled the chocolate piñata for no check ups and no water.. So they didn’t even come sing happy birthday!! This place sucks!!! So they got a 3% tip instead of 20% Next time we will go to chipotle for better tasting food

Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. They have a huge menu selection including fresh guac. I went at lunchtime and decided to order from the lunch menu. The fish tacos were amazing and filled me without feeling too heavy. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience at the Uncle Julio's in OneLoudoun. The manager on duty, Elam was incredibly attentive and charismatic. She really wanted to make sure our dining experience was very pleasant. We greatly enjoyed seeing and interacting with her. Clean environment (including the restrooms), friendly staff from the door. The food was satisfying and service was timely. I particularly liked being able to pay for my meal, leave a tip and request an electronic receipt, right from my seat on a small tablet sized device (a bit of a techno geek).

I would do 0 stars given the option. We ordered tableside guacamole which came pretty quickly. Since we only had 5 chips and crumbs we ran out after shoveling chips and forking guacamole in my mouth. They brought chips after the food came. I started eating my fajita and went to get a second tortilla and it was empty. 3 for a 2 person meal. I left to get food. My girlfriend stayed and paid half for a meal we had to go somewhere else to get.

Unfortunately this was not my best experience. Wait staff was not friendly and absent. The food was room temp which was disappointing and it took an abnormally long time for the food to come out of the kitchen. I hope this experience is not an indicator that their standards are starting to drop. Disappointed.

Service slow. Found a hair in our food, and the Server still billed us for it. Nasty. She said since we received a replacement, we still had to pay. REALLY? After she went to the Manager, she removed that item from our bill. We WON'T eat there again. Plenty other places to get tacos.

I have been to Uncle Julios about a year ago and had oustanding service. Last night fell far short. The good things: We made a reservation online which was super easy and they got us in exactly in 5 min early. The table side quac is fantastic as well as the Lobster Y fajitas. Staff seemed polite and place was clean. Bad things: We were told they were running out of the chips which was a little concerning since we ordered the guac. Fortunalty, they were able to deliver. Then they brought out a tall glass for my toddler. They said they were out of kids cups. Needless to say we had a bit of a mess happening with no extra napkin service from the staff. Our food took about 50min to get to the table and the place was not packed. Not sure why it took so long but no one came by to offer an explanation. They also do not box your food which I feel is a nice touch for many restaurants that do. They also don't deliver drinks on trays and the delivery of ours dribbled across the table. Again, I have had a great experience here a year ago but a big let down last night. So ill average a 5 star from before with a 2 star last night. (Round down)

They entered a 20% tip and asked me to sign, didnt say anything abt the tip until I stood there staring at bill, I dont tip 20% for to go orders. It was a 45 min wait for to go order. Delicious food and margaritas! I love everything that I have ordered here. They have a nice flavored salsa to go with their thin, crispy chips. I got Juanita's platter which has two enchiladas and a tamale. My friend ordered the nacho appetiser and said that every bite was perfect! The service was great and we didn't have to wait too long for a table despite the restaurant being packed.

It’s one of my family and I’s favorite spots. The food is fresh, every part of the meal is delicious, the guacamole is made in front of you. So many nice touches. The only recommendation I’d make is to definitely book a reservation otherwise there’s a long wait. It’s really packed but that goes to show — food is great!

Prices are mixed. Tableside guac was a little high. Chicken fajitas were typical. Portions were a little large, plenty of leftovers Manager stopped by and waiter was attentive. No complaints about service. Food was okay. Desserts are pretty good. Otherwise, I'm just not impressed but several of my friends really enjoy it.

Fantastic food, not your traditional Mexican but pretty close. It more like a smash-up of Tex-Mex and Mexican. The New Mexican sauce is delicious I pour it over everything. I wish they had more salsa’s to choose from. I miss the authentic salsa with tomato, chilies, cilantro, a little white onion and lime.

Great restaurant with excellent service. Everything I ate from the chips to the tacos was made fresh and tasted like it was from scratch. The salsa was fresh with perfect consistency. I ordered the carnitas tacos and they were some of the best I've ever had, perfect. My only problem was that I ate everything, the tacos are larger than the normal order you would typically get at a Mexican restaurant, so my stomach ached a bit from eating all three. That was my fault, they were awesome! Our waitress was very pleasant and professional. Highly recommended!

We appreciated the courteous gesture by management to comp our appetizer, after we waited approximately an hour for a table. (We were informed that there was a 40 minute wait.) We ordered the table-side guacamole which was delicious! The chips were tasty as well. I ordered the Coronado Pollo Platter, which was disappointing, as the rice was undercooked, (lots of hard grains), the beans were more like a bean-bits soup, (very watery and flavorless). The chicken tamale was tasty, but the enchiladas were unfortunately dry. My colleagues ordered the Fajitas, which they appeared quite happy with. Service was good until we paid the bill. We sat and talked a bit after dinner, having coffee, and never saw the servers again.

I went to this establishment on a summer day. It was packed but I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. I got the chain vibe walking in the front door. In the restaurant it was 84 degrees. The manager said he couldn't do anything about it as it was 'just too hot outside'. I found the concept to be as hum drum as the food.

I have been El Patron of this restaurant chain for a long time including going to one in Chicago. It's still decent food but not as good as it used to be. The margaritas taste like Slush Puppies they're not very strong and they've become too sweet. The food quality though still good has taken a turn for the worse - now it just seemed like manufactured Tex-Mex under a broiler...... add a little amount of lettuce and pico de gallo and you can call it fresh. I hope the quality returns and until that time I won't be coming back but I wish you luck and I hope to see you again Uncle Julio's.
