A great Asian restaurant. The food is very yummy, and the price is unbeatable. I ordered a seafood fried noodle, I got several large scallops, and dozens of shrimps, it’s beyond my expectations. And the waiters are very friendly. I would definitely go there again in the future

***First of all, I recommend China Moon in Timonium. The staff at China Moon are much nicer. They treat ALL customers with RESPECT and won’t hesitate to smile while serving you. The woman that answers the phone for this restaurant (TOWSON BEST) enjoys playing with your money. This establishment knows my family and I very well. We have ordered from these folks for the past 10 years. On one occasion, after ordering our meals, my card was charged twice with two different totals. One of the meals had a fingernail mixed in it. Last straw, my husband and I placed an order and were over charged. When, I called back after adding the prices ourselves, I politely brought the over charge to the same woman from before attention. I was told that the prices had gone up by 55 cents and that the prices could not be reduced. Though my menu read something different. This very woman isn’t polite at all when dealing with customers and will cause this restaurant everything. If the managers knew any better, they’d keep her away from the phones and all other customers. Best of luck.

Best sushi around, no contest. Used to be 5 stars but then they remodeled and never got around to finishing. Whole place always smells like drywall and drying paint, and the men's room now doubles as a storage closet. Nice.

After I placed an order online and confirmed my address and everything, this place called me and told me they would not deliver to my house because it was too far away (more than 10 miles). This is a lie - two different map apps list me as 4.8 miles and 5.1 miles respectfully. She then tried to say there was too much traffic, but today is a holiday so the traffic is not like normal. When I called to complain, she hung up on me. This is just bad business.

My first time ordering here and the food was good but the delivery guy wrote down his own tip I'm all for tipping but it's my choice how much I want the tip so make sure your checking your receipt I guess they don't think people read them smh

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I called to order and only asked for clarity on my order because she misunderstood me and added something i did not order. Then as i was explaining exactly what i wanted she hung up on me. I called back and asked her why she hung up on me and she told me they don't have any more food. Lol what terrible customer service!

Food had a funny taste. Kinda tasted over cooked but also just didn’t have a good flavor. Could’ve been the sauce for the General Tso’s chicken or the calamari. I’m super disappointed I just wasted money because the taste is so awful I couldn’t force myself to try and enjoy it let alone finish it.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. 3 out of the last 4 times I ordered delivery I had an issue. Most recently, my order arrived 3 HOURS late. I called several times, and every time I called, instead of an apology, I got screamed at by the man on the phone - telling me I am impatient and selfish, and that a lot of people ordered food, not just me! 3 hours! I don't know a single person on this planet that would not complain. I then asked if it would be possible to receive a discount or refund for the inconvenience. SCREAMED at again. I then made the suggestion that if they got too overloaded, they should really stop taking delivery orders, or tell the customer that the wait will be 3 hours so they can decide whether they want to follow through with the order. Well, its a shame - because the food is good - but if you expect it to be delivered in the same day that you ordered it, you will be out of luck.

Being a student of Towson University, Towson Best is just about the only Chinese Cuisine in walking distance from campus. My friends and I have continuously gone to Towson Best for convenience purposes. And every single time we do get their food, we say it'll be better next time and it never is. For example, today was the third time I had hard white rice. Towson's Best is far from "best", and to make it worst, their prices aren't the best either. If driving, spend an extra 5minutes and go to a carry-out that's going to allow you to savor its taste.

We ordered food around 8:12, and sit and watch tv in the living room right next to our front door. By 9pm we were already starting to complain about how long it was taking. By 9:48 I call the restaurant and ask about our order. The man tells me it was delivered already. He said the driver delivered at 9pm. I tell him no one knocked or rung the door bell, and he said the driver did knock for a long time. I asked them to remake my order and re-deliver, and he refused. I asked for a refund and he said he couldn't give it to me because the food was delivered. #terrible

The crab wantons tasted like they were microwaved and were filled with immitation crab. The rice was dry, the wonton soup was awful and the Mo Bo Tofu wasn't spicy and tasted like nothing. I've had some bad food, but this reaches number 1.

Worst place to order chinese EVER! I called to order and in the midst of making my decision I was told to “Hurry up because I have other others behind you” very irritated I gave him my order, they mever gave me a total OR estimated time which resulted in a call back, I called and he says 24.95....for a small lo mein and 4 wings with fries?????? Delivery took 1.5 hours and the delivery guy was rude to. I told him i was coming downstairs and I heard him say “oh my god” as he was hanging up. Not to mention no receipt or anything worst experience ever

My family and I had a great meal in Towson Best. What is so special is that this restaurant serves Chinese food, Japanese Ramen, and lastly but not least, Bobo Tea. Sounds like a good combination and variety. We had the Cha Su Ramen as the main course, and the Brown Sugar Bobo Tea for desert. I don't know much about Boba Tea, but from the ones i have tried in various places in Baltimore County, Towson Best has the tastiest. The gentlemen that served our meal is profesional and courteous. Overall very satisfied with our meal.

Had been a loyal customer for about 2 years since the food was decent and close to my job. Then they started charging my coworkers an extra $2 to their cards without consent, then when asked said it was a tip because they were "having a problem with people not tipping" -despite us tipping every time... Then last month I made an order over the phone with my card and called back a couple minutes later to cancel. I was told my card was already charged (understandable) but that the charge would be voided. I called over a week later to check in about my refund and was told to call my bank??? That was a month ago. Had to open a dispute over $19 because they did not refund my money. Incredible. Won't order again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This restaurants customer service is atrocious. The delivery driver argued with me about a hair being placed in one of my orders. A picture of the hair was even shown to the driver but he insisted until the end there was no hair. Don’t go here.

I've been going here for years. Never had a bad experience and eveyone is always friendly. No its not the "best" food like every self centered person on here dictates, but it is very good. I've had several menu items and most of the sushi, nothing was ever bad or "not fresh". A 16 piece sushi lunch with soup and ice cream (also crunchy 'chips', and tea) for under $10 is not what I would call expensive to everyone complaining about prices. I've never ordered delivery so I cannot comment on that, but overall my experience here has been nothing short of 5-stars everytime.

This place is so great. When you go in to eat they serve you little cups of tea,and crunchy noodles and then a little cup of sherbet after your meal for free. They are freindly and quick. The food is outstanding. Isn't "iffy" like some places I've eaten at. So that's a plus.

The staff is very friendly and the food is good at this no frills Chinese Restaurant. Try the 2 Roll Sushi Special it's a great deal. Just $12 for 2 premium sushi rolls. The Fried Dumplings are also very tasty and seem a bit larger than the usual you get from your average take out Chinese joint.

This is by far the WORST Chinese food place in the greater Baltimore area! Not only did it take over an hour for them to deliver my food, but it was wrong when it got here! when I called to see if I could get my missing food THAT I PAID EXTRA FOR they wouldn't believe me that I never got it and begrudgingly agreed to deliver the missing food to my house. IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR. I threw it out as soon as I got it because the food was cold anyway. I'm never ordering from here again and I suggest you don't either.

Out of all the Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at, Towson Best has the best service I have ever received and the 64 years of my life. The food was absolutely tremendous, and there was so much I had to take it home for the next day. It is a very peaceful restaurant to eat in.

LITERALLY just ordered shrimp and broccoli with brown sauce and spring rolls. When I called I made it clear that I only want little sauce, my portion was filled to the top with sauce. The spring rolls were flat, yes flat due to the fact that whom ever is preparing them didn’t fill them entirely with cabbage and other veggies. SALTY!!!!! SALTY!!!!! SALTY!!! Shrimp and broccoli, SALTY!! Spring Rolls, SALTY!!! I do not have a history of high bp but I’m sure after taking a couple of bites of this food my pressure is elevated. JUST SAY NO TO TOWN BEST, NASTY!!

This is the most disgusting chinese food I have ever had. The chicken is weird. Is it even chicken? The sushi has a fishy smell and it wasn't fresh. The white rice was okay. (Had to say something positive). Portions are small for the price.

I was getting ripped off. I paid for me and my two friends. Me and my one friend ordered meals that came up around $22 and $24 respectively and my other friend's meal came up to around $33. So we calculated all of our meals and the total should've came up to be around $80. Instead we got the check for about $120. My two friends argued with the manager about where the extra charges are coming from. The manager told us that state taxes and gratuity taxes were added onto the bill and the gratuity was added for EACH individual instead of one group. But by law, gratuity taxes should only be added to the bill with a party more than 10 individuals but my party consists of 3 individuals, including myself. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Total cons!

As a very long time customer, I can say the sushi tastes good! The place is pretty clean, and if you visit the restaurant long enough, they will actually remember you. That being said, these are my issues with the place: -they can be rude sometimes, even though they may know you well -their prices are starting to slowly rise -they won’t let you cancel your order, even if you call them right back -they automatically take out gratuity (I think that’s a trend now) In conclusion, I prefer this place as a quick, pick up order place.

I've been going to this place with my mother since middle school so they know us by name. A lovely cozy place with great customer service. I love the food, they have lunch and sushi specials every day. Complimentary tea and water aswell as ice cream and a fortune cookie after your meal. Sadly the older gentleman that use to make the sushi is no longer employed there after the recent switch in ownership so the sushi is now inconsistent and poorly cut.

I HAD TO GET GRUBHUB INVOLVED, CALLED 30 MIN AFTER ORDERING AND SAID THEY WON'T DELIVER TO LOCATION, COMPLETELY MESSED UP MY ORDER, INCLUDED NO NAPKINS FORKS, KNIVES, OR CHOPSTICKS. I HAD TO GET GRUBHUB INVOLVED. I ordered for delivery and 30 min after placing the order the restaurant calls to say they do not deliver to my address. I then opted to pick up the food from the restaurant (which is a 20 min drive in both directions) and did a quick check at the restaurant for all of my food. I get back to my address and the order was completely wrong. I was supposed to get a spring roll and instead I got an egg roll, a can of ice tea and got a sprite. Additionally, they didn't include napkins, forks, and knives at the bottom of the bag. I called to the restaurant and the gentleman said they don't include utensils unless asked (I respect the customer's option for utensils but not asking the customer and expecting people to eat food with their hands is not cool) and promised a spring roll on the next visit instead of refunding the food in the first place. I had to get Grubhub involved to intervene. They do not have the moral compass to and don't believe in fixing a mistake the first time. They used to be good before they remodeled but now they cut corners on their customers. There are many other great and well respected restaurants that serve much better food.DON'T EVER ORDER FROM THEM. PERIOD.

I just placed my order for several sushi rolls and soup at 10:47 and they were here by 11:06. Not only were they incredibly fast, but their delivery driver was insanely sweet, too. AWFUL. Been going here for years, this year has been the worst and will never go back. Charged for white meat, and got CARTILAGE. Food not flavorful, small portions, and rice SMELLED like socks. This is one of the most popular Chinese places in Towson—especially among Towson Students. They stay open and deliver relatively late which is really convenient. The people are super nice and attentive without being intrusive. The portion sizes are nice. The sushi is high quality but isn’t the best. It’s a little more expensive then the quality of the food deserves. The dining area is clean. The parking situation in the back isn’t very great.

Two words. Hot. Garbage. Words simply cannot describe the experience me an my family had here tonight. 1. We waited no less than 20 minutes to be served. mind you, this is 20 minutes after our menus were closed and those crisps things were gone. 2. We ordered, 3 appetizers and 4 entrees. My father's appetizer was going to be his meal since he wasn't that hungry. 3. 3 sushi entrees were served, when they arrived, the ginger was funky and had a really funky, composting garbage taste to it. 4. the spicy tuna roll tasted like straight siracha - to their credit, they did exchange it for a regular tuna roll. 5. Once we reminded the waitress that we ordered 3 appetizers, she blamed the kitchen and they were on our table within 2 minutes, with the exception of my fathers tempura appetizer. 6. One of the appetizers was completely wrong and the waitress told us she was right in what was ordered. We had to waive the manager over, who then confirmed that we were given the wrong appetizer. I'm not talking about a small difference, it was very obvious that we were given the wrong item. 7. Once the manager came over he said sorry and that he will take 25% off the check. 8. My fathers appetizer was still nowhere to be found. 9. We're all done eating when my fathers APPETIZER gets put on the table. It was obviously forgotten. 10. We get the check and everything from the horrific spicy tuna roll, to the the appetizer my mother DID NOT order was on the check, and neither was the 25% discount the manager said we were going to be comped. And in actuality, any other GM would have comped the entire meal to make up for what happened but I digress, at this point we just wanted out. 11. The waitress started arguing with us about the check and for the first time in my life, I slammed my hand on the table and screamed to the waitress, ITS NOT RIGHT. TAKE IT OFF! She shut the hell up at that point and I looked like a jerk as the other TWO tables in the restaurant we're staring. This was a terrible experience. Maybe if we ordered just Chinese food, the outcome may have been different. I can't speak for the quality of Chinese food as we ordered Japanese.

My family has been coming to Towson Best for years and will never go anywhere else for Chinese/Japanese. This is the best sushi around, and by far the best crew and service. We usually do pick up, but dining in is always a joy. Dining in includes a pot of black tea and crunchy wonton-like strips to snack on. Love the honey roll, green best roll, Baltimore roll, egg rolls, and shumai! But everything is great. Thanks, Danny!

By far the worst service I have ever dealt with. I was yelled at over the phone by one of their drivers because he could not find my address, and would not believe the address I was giving him. Once he finally found the building (already 20-30 minutes late) he called again and told me to come outside when he could actually see me through the window of the chain corporation building he refused to go into. I would have been okay with having to go out to his car (that he would not get out of) if it wasn't for the fact that I was working and wasn't supposed to leave the building. Once I got to him he got out of his car and crudely pointed to the building saying it wasn't a street address. It is. I can find it on google maps. Apparently I am supposed to be responsible for their bad sense of direction. The food isn't even good, and was cold. I will never order from here again. I would have made a complaint to the manager about how rude their driver was, but according to some other reviews the manager is just as rude. They are not the best, and not worth your time.

I have been attending this restaurant for years now and I have to say it serves the best Chinese food around. The sushi is amazing and the menu is vast! The waitresses are very kind and welcoming. My wife and are regulars here, plus it was the location of our first date. Top notch, top notch!

Although they have good food, their delivery service is horrible. I usually order delivery from them ranging from $15-$20, twice a week. I tip $2 every time I get food from them. Today, the delivery guy basically told me that $2 was not enough tip and that gas is expensive. I understand gas is expensive so they should either raise their prices or start having a delivery charge. But the fact that the delivery person is asking for more tip is very unprofessional. I will not be ordering from this place again. There are plenty of restaurants in this area that are more reasonably priced with great food and FREE DELIVERY: Chinese Wok and Chen's Kitchen!

I usually never leave Google reviews but considering that this place serves sushi and quality control SHOULD be top priority, I decided to. Ordered lunch here today and wasn't very pleased. I had the sushi (specifically cucumber/eel and tuna) along with a miso soup. The soup had a weird sour smell -- which isn't usual. Upon opening the sushi, some parts of the wasabi were dark green, meaning it had dried out and was old. The ginger also looked aged and discolored around the edges. As for the sushi, the eel/cucumber was flavorless and the tuna didn't smell very fresh. Just be aware that if you order sushi from here you'll be taking a risk. I saw some reviews here w/ fresher looking sushi so you may get lucky, but then again you may end up with semi-fresh sushi. Probably best to get sushi elsewhere.
