Friendly staff and the food was good. I had the Hawaiian pancakes for breakfast and my son had French toast, both were excellent. We went back the next day and had pizza and fries for dinner... also delicious.

Every time we come to OC we eat here at least once. Breakfast is really good and we've never had a dinner we didn't enjoy. Their pizza is very good, typical fare. We've had their subs and sandwiches also. All in all a good place to eat at fair prices.

Really good pizza for the cost. I dislike flat crust but even with that I loved it. Drinks are pretty big, too. Cheaper than my local pizza places despite being in a tourist location, so it's definitely recommended.

No longer a fan. The server made error on the order then management gave us a hard time for voicing the complaint. They took forever to replace the incorrect pizza while the rest of the table ate and then treated us as though we had made the mistake. Very disappointed and won't likely return.

We usually have breakfast here. Been coming for 30 years. This time we were very dissatisfied. We were seated by Chastity who was very rude to us! Then when our food came, the pancakes were so doughy we couldn't hardly eat them. We only ate less than half of the breakfast. So disappointed. The best part of the experience was our waiter Meach. He was very attentive and friendly You need to get more employees like him and get rid of that Crab Chastity. We probably won't be back.

This place has legit good food. The pizza was thin, crispy and chewy New York style pizza and it came out piping hot despite a huge line (probably why there was a huge line). The subs had the right meat-to-sauce-to-bread ratio and the roll has a little crisp to it. The only downfall was that we ordered to go and expected to get our food quicker than 25 minutes. But I would rather wait a little longer for good food than get mediocre food sooner. I would highly recommend to others and would 10/10 come here when not craving seafood options.

The food was good but maybe costed a little more than similar dishes at a similar restaurant. Our waitress was pleasant, but other staff seemed to have difficulty understanding us when we spoke to them (probably a language barrier; I believe Ocean City businesses frequently hires foreign citizens). Our meals came out at different times. The waitress told me my salad was made 3 times before it was correct. However, the meals tasted good and were as expected. Our daughter got crayons, a coloring page, and a little rubber ducky, which was a nice touch and helpful to keep her entertained. The waitress asked first before giving it to our daughter, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience.

Haven't been here since I was a kid. Still pretty much exactly the same. I think they have some of the same vintage lunch boxes on their walls that my friends carried to grade school. Anyway, we got the meat explosion pizza. Pretty pretty good. Ate two pieces past my usual limit. Oh well, when in Rome...

The service was nice and kept apologizing for the wait since it was busy, but both my friend and I agreed the food wasn't that good. I ordered a burger and wasn't even asked how I wanted it so it ended up a little more cooked than normal. My friend got a garlic grilled cheese and said it was alright. My Pepsi and her lemonade tasted a little off, but wasn't too bad.

Good food, but the waitress had a little bit of an attitude. When I asked for a half portion of something she gave me a dirty look and said no, when we asked to have the fan off (because half the people at the table were cold) she said yes, turned off the fans around us not the fan above us and when we asked a second time to have our fan turned off she said her manager told her no.

My husband and I ate at the Dough Roller on the boardwalk and the food and service was excellent. The next day we ate at the one next to the Convention Center, food was good but our server needs a class on etiquette. While chomping on her gum and not introducing herself, we ordered. Her attitude thru our time there was just cocky. Our bill was wrong and it seemed to irate her. I don't think we will eat at that one again.

Remains one of the best not too expensive, family friendly restaurants on the board. Started by a surfer beach bum back in the 60s or 70s it remains a family tradition that warrants at least one visit each time we go down the ocean.

2nd visit. The pizza is good but that’s about it. The sandwiches are below average. I ordered the tacos salad it was nothing more than lettuce pilled in the shell with chilli on top. I opened the sour cream packet and it was spoiled which I didn’t notice until after 2 bites.

I will never go back. They told it me it was no problem to make a half and half pizza but I would have to use the build my own menu and pay the extra. What a bunch of cheapskates. As it is, a large pizza is $26.00. They charge $3 extra for a small order of fries to go with any overpriced sandwich. What a bunch of chespskates. Quality of pizza was not great. Everyone at the table agreed it is not worth going back when so many other pizza places are around. This location is right on the boardwalk so they will have a never ending supply of first time customers. Can you imagine how successful they would be if those people would come back a second time?

I came in with a group of 20 tonight and was very disappointed with the service and professionalism of the general manager and owner of the location on 3rd street. All of the food came out fairly quickly but one of our subs were missing and when brought to the attention of our waitress, she brought the general manager out who right away accused us of hiding it. We were simply asking for another sub to be brought out since one was missing. She continued to argue with us and when brought to the attention of the owner, he couldn’t have cared less. Customers are what make a business and today, dough roller lost 20.

The family-style setting and accommodating courteous staff. This one was on the boardwalk further east of Ocean City. Great tasting thin crust pizzas. BUT....not all The Dough Roller establishments are made alike. Went to another one closer to the Ferris Wheel, soggy crust and staff who seemed a little tired.

Had high hopes for this place, but was very disappointed. Service was great but the food was subpar. Ordered a Cesar salad, and it came out with iceberg lettuce, not romaine as advertised, and the dressing was gritty and sour. Also ordered a side garden salad that came out as a bowl of lettuce, cucumbers, and carrots with some croutons on top - no tomatoes, no onion, no cheese (and I had requested cheese). We sent the salads back and waited for the pizza - bacon and mushroom. Pizza came pretty fast, but the mushrooms tasted terrible, like they'd been soaked in vinegar... we brought it up to the server and she told us its because they're canned mushrooms, which, I've never had an issue with canned mushrooms before, but we just let it go and picked the ($2 extra) mushrooms off. We did eat the pizza, but for $35 I could have gone to a dozen other places and had a better experience.

I have eaten at this restaurant before and usually I had to wait at least 10 minutes to get a table. They upgraded their system when taking orders, they are sending your orders to the kitchen as soon as you order at the table, so the food gets fast to your table. We didn't have to wait a lot to get a table, even though sometimes is a very crowded place. The food is good, nothing better or worse than any other big chain restaurants (Waffle House, IHOP, etc.). The restaurant is well located at the boardwalk, so we could wake up early, eat breakfast at the beach, and start enjoying the water. They have other locations but i prefer to go to this one for breakfast. The atmosphere is very nice, welcoming, I loved the carousel horses at the entrance, nice touche. In general the restaurant for me is good, clean, fast, good costumer services, and okay food at a reasonable price.

She was very rude with all guys around her and giving very bad energy ...if she read this i would like to give her advice, most important when you work somewhere to make atmosphere nice so guests and everyone's enjoying, i was long time in hospitality and i am talking with my experience, good luck with that!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant! From the time my pregnant daughter, her fiance and I walked in it was a bad experience. We had 3 people look directly at us before being seated, we waited over 5 minutes for our waitress to bring us strawberries and then I got them myself, then all 3 orders were wrong and on top of that my pregnant daughter found plastic in her food. When we asked if there was a manager we could speak with we were told yes however the manager didn't even have the decency to come talk to us!! The waitress came and said they were not charging us for her sub and nade her another one....Needless to say we will NEVER eat there again and we will tell all of our friends not to either!!!! If I could have rated them in the negative I would have!!!!

Meh... Food was good. Dough Roller is a classic stop and generally up to expectations, but this visit was no good. Service was poor. My daughter ordered hot chocolate instead of chocolate milk because the menu indicated "free refills", however after a second one we were told it was a misprint and each one is another $3.50? I did not order a drink and asked for water, but the waitress brought me a drink anyways and then tried to charge me for it. My water never came. She then became upset when I sipped my other daughters soda, apparently it was a buy a drink or don't drink kinda night. Because of the huge food selection on the boardwalk, we intended on splitting the spaghetti too, rather than filling up. No extra plates were given when we asked and the garlic bread was soggy and cold. The entire experience really just missed the mark. Sad, but I am not sure we will return with so many other options available.
