Adding this place to my list of fave brunch spots in Baltimore. The service was top notch and accommodating. My 20plus crew enjoyed the breakfast items. The temperature of a couple food items were cooler than preferred. However, that was the only hiccup we encountered. The red velvet pancakes were a hit with the group. They even allowed separate checks. Definitely returning.

This is my go to for brunch. I stumbled on this place doing a Google search for brunch spots. I'm so glad I did. The shrimp and grits and the red velvet waffles were incredible!!!! My son and husband had the waffles and pancakes and everyone loved their meals. O and can't forget the sangria which was so good. Sunday brunch can get busy so I recommend a reservation. You won't be disappointed.

I normally love this place, however my last visit was very disappointing. My waiter was so involved in talking with his coworker he forgot about taking care of me. ..the customer. It was so bad, I don't even want to patronize the restaurant anymore. To add more fustration. .I ordered a certain dish and waited. ...then waited. ...then asked about it. My waiter was so terrible he lied about the making of it and said they was still cooking the dish. So it must have been 20 minutes passed by, no salmon mini. Come to find out. ..they stopped selling it. Had me sitting all that time. ..I even had to put more money in the meter for my car so I wouldn't get a parking ticket. So disappointed. I think management should address this. They just lost a valuable customer and I wouldn't recommend others to even support it.

I was exploring the area and ran into the place in need of a hot beverage. I ended up getting a soy milk matcha. The staff was quick and courteous and delivered it with a smile. The place was spacious and had lots of great options for everyone and great space for large groups. I'd like to stop by here again and enjoy their food options.

It’s a great trendy concept that is poorly executed. The poor wait staff has too many tables to service. The manager did not great any tables or help the wait staff during the busy lunch rush. We literally had to grab another server to pay our bill because we’d been there for over 2 hours and were ready to leave. As far as the food. With the exception of having almost endless choices between tea, expreso, etc beverages, save yourself the service headache of spending 4 star prices with 2 star service with mandatory 18% gratuity on all orders. Just go to Miss Shirley’s instead.

The food was bland--at best. The charge for every little thing, like addition salad dressing, or asking for 1% milk instead of whole. The salad was wilted and spoiled--had to return it. The service was...decent. Even though they were slow and a bit sloppy, our waiter tried to make the best of the bad experience we we're having. The only redeeming quality is their tea/latte. Was very pleased with the dirty chai latte.

If you haven’t already DO NOT book an event here. Not if the reputation of your business depends on it. I don’t ever write reviews. But I am literally broken hearted about our experience with this place. Making a reservation was easy and painless. I spoke with someone over the phone to gather information since I’d never been before. The person let me speak with someone else who was more familiar with the business practices for large party event reservations. I was told that the Alcove area would be ideal for my event. I was told that someone would email me in a few days with the contract. We got the contract, completed it and sent it back. We received email acknowledgment from the owner. This was in October 23, 2018. Our event was scheduled for today. We arrive 1 hour early. Long story short, our space was not available and we were essentially ignored. After asking for the owner one man came over made excuses and walked away. Sunni (owner) then came over and essentially said that our contract meant nothing. She said the we needed to decide whether we wanted to wait for a table in the middle of the commotion of the restaurant (not possible to hold a seminar) or leave. She was not apologetic or accommodating at all. All of our attendees were turned away. We were operating on behalf of a client who now has to explain to his clients why the event did not happen. It is disheartening that this was not handled better. Our reservation was made nearly a month ago. All we receive was indifference.

First stopped at a restaurant at the Inner Harbor and was told it would be a 45 min wait. A dear friend and Baltimore local recommended Teavolve as one of their favorite spots. Called and they said there was no wait and they’re just 5 min from the Harbor. We were serviced right away and the food came out in about 5 min. Hearty portions and EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious. Kim, our server was attentive and friendly. I met with one of the owners briefly to praise the restaurant. She was busy but took the time to chat. Will definitely be visiting again and again.

Absolutely horrible! Is there a negative option??? Reservation contract was essentially not honored. We signed a contract approximately one month ago. Not only was the space we were recommended unavailable, there wasn't even a table available to accommodate our large party. The owners acted as though our contract terms were "optional." I don't know how they run their business, but I'm unaware of any business that operates like contracts are optional. I will NEVER RETURN for business OR personal.

As a remote office worker, Teavolve is by far one of my favorite spots in the city - it's quiet, calm and spacious. You can sit by the windows and enjoy a delicious pot of tea or food (OMG THE WAFFLE IS AMAZING) and the team is always there to be lovely!

I've been here several times and this time it was for Sunday brunch. My Friends and I really enjoyed our food, it was delicious and filling. Be prepared for a wait so try getting there early. **Be aware: Don't sit much longer after you're done eating! The staff will totally stare at you AND walk back and forth until you get their hints to hit the road. Extremely rude and not the way to treat your patrons if you want them to return! And just so you can understand timeframes, this began 10-15 minutes after we paid our checks. Which isn't unreasonably long in our opinions. It was four of us and we all noticed it so we finally took their queues and left. This was obviously my last Teavolve visit, I've never experienced such anywhere else and I dine out often. This would've otherwise been a 5 star review.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I've been twice now and each time I've enjoyed it. Food is great as are the drinks. Servers are polite and attentive. They even have live music sometimes. Atmosphere is relaxed and chill-- perfect for date nights, girls nights, or solo outings. Shrimp and grits is worth the money! Parking is affordable both on street and a block away in a garage.

This is a cute place to grab brunch. Sadly they are building an apartment building next door so when you eat outside you don't get much of a view. Our waitress was nice but took a long time to deliver our check. I had to actually track her down to get it. The food was yummy and came out quickly. There are a ton of drink choices but they specialize in tea. I would recommend getting the mango smoothie with bubbles, it was delicious! My partner got their Bloody Mary and it wasn't good, tasted like watered down tomato juice.

We stayed at the nearby Courtyard Marriott and almost had lunch at their Bistro. Thank god I searched for nearby eateries and found Teavolve. Place is clean, the staff very friendly and the food was too notch. Our server Oliver was awesome. Looking forward to coming back.

Love this place! Free WiFi. A great comfy place for studying /working. Food is yummy (you can get your Old Bay fix with the crabmeat Chesapeake omelette). Wide selection of yummy teas for only $3 for a whole pot. Excellent, friendly service. Clean and well-lit. I will be back.

I joined my friends at Teavolve for a bridal shower. The place is beautiful and filled with vibes and they have a friendly staff. The food was good but I wasn't blown away by the taste of anything. Here is my #1 complaint: it was too hot in there. I don't think that customers should deal with that level of heat, but I was more concerned for their employees. The AC needs to function better. Overall, we had a blast.

Great spot for happy hour and dinner! All of their tea infused sangrias are delicious, happy hour deals are good for the pocket and the food is great tasting. Very accommodating to all whether you need an adult beverage after work, some coffee to study, or just have some tasty food with friends! My favorite is their White Sangria and their Home brewed sweet tea!

My food took 30 mins to come out, no problem, but my coffee and my soup still hadn't come out at this point. Food was cold, coffee order was messed up. Our server (Nyah, I think) did her best to fix every issue but this place was not busy at all so I am not sure of what the issues were exacting.

The food was just ok, definitely not the tope 5 best brunches in Baltimore.The reason behind such a low rating is that we made reservations on Thursday for Sunday brunch. The reservations were made for 12:30 for 5 people. The first person of our party arrived at 12:15 and checked in, the rest of us arrived we at 12:25 and also checked in. When I checked in at 12:25 I was told 10 minutes until our table is ready, that was no problem at all, unfortunately we did not get seated until 1:40 a hour and ten minutes after our reservation! It was walk ins waiting the same amount of time. Then we are finally seated, we have to wait 10 minutes and me asking two different employees about who was talking care of us to finally have the waitress come over to the table. Again if I had just walked up I would have been fine, but we made reservations 3 days in advance.

So upset that I didn't purchase some tea when I was there. Their blend of Turmeric-Ginger tea was absolutely the best I have ever had! BTW, there was no sweetener needed. It was perfect in it's natural form. I also met the owner, Sunni who was such a lovely person. The tea menu is very colorful...a big plus because I find most tea shops tend to have boring blends. This will definitely be my go to spot for breakfast/brunch and of course tea

The drinks are top-notch! I had the spices chai iced latte and wish I had gotten one to take home! They do take awhile to come, but on the other hand the food came minutes after we put in our order (we were a party of 6). The food was pretty good, but they are too rigid when it comes to allowing substitutions (the reason I docked my rating by a star). Atmosphere is comfortable, a place for couples or families with small children. Service was pleasant.

This was my first and last time here. I was not pleased with the server Adams the manager. My friend been her several times and was not pleased with her shrimp and grits. We asked to speak to the manager and we were told that she said she was really busy but we can walk up to her. NO.... that's poor management as a paying customer you should have the courtesy to walk over and address my concern. I left very unhappy....

Lunch was great. Beautiful view, and relaxing atmosphere. Waiter Michael was awesome, very professional, and attentive to tables he was assigned to throughout our visit. I was shocked however at the abrasiveness of the floor manager Kim when we asked if one of the small tables near window could be adjusted to allow both people in the party to take part in the window view, as one person's back was to the window. No explanation, very rude, ignored us as the customer, and seem to bully, our waiter. A simple explanation and basic customer service response would have sufficed. Rating: 9/10, minus bad customer interaction with floor manager 6/10. Could harm business if allowed to continue. Have a Great day!

I've visited Teavolve twice. The first time was a great experience. They have an amazing recipe for shrimp and grits. Also the service was very good. The waitress was attentive and we rarely had to ask for anything. The second time I went (yesterday), it was different. The service was friendly as always but the food was not as good. I got the chicken and waffles. My waffle was cold and the chicken had a burnt taste to it. The waitress we had this time also seemed extremely busy. It took us about 7 minutes to be greeted and get our menus. The drink my friend ordered was mostly juice, barely any alcohol and I had to walk to the counter to get my own butter for the waffle. The first time I went, it was packed and the service was a lot better. Yesterday it was almost empty so I don't understand it. I will try again but I think I'll wait a few months before I go back.

We went on Father's day so it was busy as expected. We waited about 25 minutes to be seated for 2. The waiter bought our drinks quickly but the food took a very long time to come. There were a few tables that seemed frustrated with the wait time also. The waitress who was handling other tables seemed to be much better and her tables were will taken care of. The food was excellent and prices weren't bad. Overall we will go back.

We went to this cafe to see friends perform a mixed acoustic set. Everyone in our party really enjoyed the experience. High ceilings give a light airy feel, but the small space still feels cozy and intimate. The Drinks are tasty and unique. Our performer friends were treated well by the staff from what I could tell. There was space for us to listen, as well as other spaces for patron just there to enjoy a meal. We didn't eat, but all of the food looked absolutely delicious. Lots of us had sangria that, while a bit overly sweet, was good. Other mixed drinks were about the same, sweet, but tasty. There was a selection of beer and wine as well. Our party didn’t have wine, but our beer drinkers were pleased with the beer selection. Some of the mixed drinks were tea-infused, which is neat. They also offered a variety of pretty standard coffees and hot chocolate options. Overall a unique place with a fun, light menu. I think it would be great for a full dinner, and it was certainly a good place for drinks and music. Easy to access and find. Could probably accommodate medium sized groups fairly well.
