Nice atmosphere and good food.

Greg Flanigan

A comfy, family style experience with delicious food and a quirky atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Visited this place for the first time last night with my friend, and we loved it. The owner is wonderful, the food was amazing, and the decor is super cute and cool. I feel like this is a hidden gem that more people need to know about!

This is the best Asian food that I have had in Baltimore. I ordered a simple rice, meat, and veggie dish (bi bim bap, I forget how it is spelled in English) that was delicious. Many of the foods on the menu here are home-style Korean and other Asian foods, and very healthily made. The decor is eclectic Hampden's with an Asian twist.

Eli

An amazing restaurant! Miss Suzie is especially great and made wonderful small talk with my papa and I. The food is amazing and the outdoor patio is absolutely gorgeous. Will be returning!!

Max B

The older Asian woman who was apparently running the restaurant when we were there was rude and disgusting. We could hear her yelling at the poor, unfortunate person or persons working in the kitchen. If you experience anything like this, I recommend you not order or cancel your order and leave. If it is too late to do that, I recommend you leave no tip and post a review.

This is one of those places that has "character". The owner (and so far as I saw, the only employee) will talk back to you a bit and the atmosphere is solid. The food was great (as long as you stick to Korean fare, my friend ordered the smoked salmon dish and, while he liked it, I was not impressed) and is within standard pricing for the area ($12-$15 per plate + drinks).

This was a very tasty dinner. We just moved top the area and are trying places in the avenue and glad we stopped here. I had the shabu shabu beef which started sweet and went savory and was very good. My husband the top pork dish which was savory and spicy and good as well. Give it a try!

Seafood champonng is incredible. Suzie is very funny!

Absolutely wonderful Korean food! The owner/chef is pretty cool (definitely a character). I had a big seafood pancake (don't recall the name at the moment) that was awesome. Everything is fresh.

Falyn Weiss

Really good food, at fairly reasonable prices. It is also worthy to note that the owner is a very fun and humorous character. Hint: you'll be well respected if you can eat with chopsticks. Had a really enjoyable time, and looking forward to going back soon.

Served us rotten seafood, admitted it, and did not comp the meal!

Dave Higgins

We went for lunch and we're alone the owner waited on us and could not have been nicer. She even changed my entre to the teriyaki salmon which was marvelous. It was a very fine meal.

The tuna tartare and the pan fried soba with pork tenderloin were AMAZING. Suzie is incredible, she seems to run the whole show by herself! Don't be afraid to grab a bite here solo, Suzie will be more than happy to chat with you, she is super friendly (not in a bad way).

Steven

I am a little biased since Suzy herself is a friend of the family but this place is a great place for Soba and various other noodle dishes. Everything is cooked fresh and authentic and with enthusiasm. Just a tip, if you get something spicy ask for "American Boy Spicy". Suzy will get a kick out of that.

Killer sign!

Suzie is the best and her food is to die for! :)

Dining here was an experience; a pleasurable one at that. The decor was eclectic but comfy. The food was a smidge overpriced, but fantastic. I haven't had that much flavor packed into a bowl of food in a long time. The best part of the visit was the hostess/waitress/chef. She was a great combination of hospitable and friendly while simultaneously being completely sarcastic and brisk. Totally enjoyed my meal and will definitely return if I'm ever in the city again.

Hope Brooks

The service was brusk and sarcastic, which added unique notes to the already earthy and eclectic ambiance. The food was quick, and hit all the right notes of a noodle bar with the feeling of a full service restaurant. The food was very good as long as you stick to Japanese and Korean. They failed the flavor mix required for good Thai dishes, but that is what one should expect for ordering Pad Thai at a Soba shop. Overall, very good. Great casual date spot.

Selena Schreyer

The food here is home cooked gourmet and Susie is a spicy genius!

Jessie

Yummy. Good small noodle shop.

A. Warren Duvall

I have only been once, but this is my favorite restaurant. I have never eaten food as tasty as the meal I had here. I forget the name of what I ordered, but it was some sort of beef dish. Furthermore, Ms. Suzie was a wonderful host. She was attentive to anything we may have needed, and treated my family and me like old friends.

Bruce Szmajda

So friendly, scrumptious food, great variety: only please less sugar in everything.

Martin L

restaurant with fish theme in hampden. menu with electic mix of noodles/dishes from various asian countries. great place to enjoy a bowl of hot noodle soup on a cold winter night.

Really delicious food and a nice feel- The owner is funny, she can come across as harsh but I think she's nice and helpful.

Justin Lefkowitz

Good food and a quiet atmosphere. Suzie remembers you if you're a regular. Very good service.

Delicious!

Stuart Ray

Fresh and delicious, Suzie's personal attention and good humor make this a perfect stop in Hampden.

Joe McDaniels

Wonderful little place with great food and kind staff. Very cozy, especially the outdoor seating.

Patrick Egan

If you find yourself in Hampden check out Suzies she is one of a kind. Lovely decor. I always get the Bip and Bop.

Shanna Borell

When we walked in on a Friday night the place was dead empty so I worried, but the food was great and our server was very attentive.

Ola

delicious light food with lots of fresh vegetables. there's unique decor in the dining room and on the patio but the ceiling in the women's restroom is especially pretty.

Shannon Merryweather

Friendly service and the best Pad Thai I've ever had!!

Seyoun Park

Food was not even close to the taste as I expected compare to the price. I don't understand why so much Coriander is used when they are not necessary - usually not used in Korean or Japanese food.

Brenda B

Yikes. The woman behind the counter did not want to serve my friend and I because we brought open beverage cups (snow balls from across the street ) inside. She did not want to hear that we actually wanted takeout :). Okay fine. However, she was real aggressive towards us ..yelling and stomping towards us and what not. We got out of there quick! Lol

Baltimore Body Shop

Duuuuude suzie is awesome and makes the best food, by far my favorite food in this life!!!

Kathy Le

Food is delicious and the owner is really sassy
