Service was incredibly slow. Received our food before our drinks. Ordered beer, 15 minutes later told they were out of that beer. Tried to order beer choice #2, told they were out of that beer also. Even the waitress was embarrassed by how ill equipped they were. Tip to the manager: your waitress Stephanie is a quality worker. Give your employees the tools they need to perform the job and succeed. Prime location, beautiful interior, decent food selection. Has potential if they choose to use it.

I go to trivia every Tuesday and Thursday and the DJ is great! The bartender and wait staff are very attentive, the drinks aren't very expensive and they also offer outdoor seating. It is a little hard to find from the road.

My work mates chose this bar as a destination for trivia nights. There are no beer specials and the food is average. If you enjoy $6 pints and so-so food selection in an outdated location then this place might be worth checking out.

My neighborhood bar that is 10 steps above typical bar food. James the chef is absolutely great. Sonoma dishes taste and look like high end dishes. Don't be afraid to order anything on the menu. Good live bands. Good happy hour prices. Very comfortable place for all.

Nice little neighborhood bar. Went there to hear a band a couple weeks ago. Seemed to keep up with the crowd pretty nicely. The food smelled great as it was walked past us. It's apparently a Steelers bar so yeah, I won't go for any football games. Definitely not a fan of all the people smoking out front so you have to walk through that stench to get in or out. Is there nowhere else you could put a smoking area?

surprising spot tucked away in a shopping plaza. the outside area is nice, surrounded by trees and shrubs. pet friendly. good atmosphere. servers are really nice and attentive. the food is excellent as far as American bar food goes. a great spot to hang out.

the bartender’s attitude was so horrible, we cancelled our orders, finished our one drink, and left. this bartender lost 6 people’s worth of business because she didn’t feel like showing up to work today. terrible first experience. i’ve lived in howard county over 25 years and was excited to try a restaurant i haven’t been to yet. i didn’t even have a chance to try the food. i will not be back.

Rude, 8:45pm saturday nite and very full/ busy. college games on. bar full, restaurant section full. 4 open small bar tables at back of bar by the band stand. sat down and started looking at the drink menu. mgr came over and asked if I didnt have anyone else with me, then I couldnt sit there. explained I was there to see my sons band, but at that moment I didnt have anyone with me. my son and his freinds were on there way in. He told me I couldnt sit there as they were "busy". When I asked if he wanted me to leave, he said yes. Crap, I was hungry and would have filled all those tables and been buy drinks and food for the band the entire nite. I understand filling a restaurant as efficiently as possible, but this went over the line. Wont ever go back.

Went there with my son for dinner on a Wednesday. They had live music so that was a plus. We had nachos for an appetizer and they were pretty good. He ordered the tuna and he said it was very tasty. I ordered their signature steak and it was awful. I asked for medium rare and got medium well. It was very tough as well. I didn't have time to wait for another but it really should have been sent back. The sides were good. I'm not sure it was good enough to go back given so many other dining choices.

Worst meal ever made me so sick on the ride home I had to throw out my clothes from the mess. The only time I got sick from food in my life. I spent a month in Mexico and didn't get sick once so it takes a lot to make me that sick. My friend also got sick we shared the same appetizer.

I ate here tonight with my wife and daughter, age 11. The atmosphere was great! The food was very good! What really made the experience was the personalities of the two managers, Tom and Patrick (alias bubbles from the Wire). They waited tables, attended bar and kept the place hopping. I will return and highly recommend the restaurant.

I had a nice visit here. The crab dip was really good and I liked the crab mac and cheese, too. I ordered the bleu burger and the burger was delicious and the old bay fries were good, too. All I wanted was good food and a nice environment to dine comfortable and Sonoma's easily delivered.

It was our first time there in years and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. Jerk chicken nachos were very tasty. The bacon cheese tots were surprisingly good. The tots were crispy and the cheesey.

I unfortunately find myself a month ago or so being disrespected by a waitress/ bartender for no apparent reason... besides... "spending money while black". I am a longtime resident in the community FACT: this place has a bad reputation. Which by the way talked about amongst the residents and other who work in and or around the Village Center.

Nice little neighborhood bar and grill type of place. Good for a lunch out with coworkers, too, or with the family on a weekend afternoon. The prices are reasonable, and the service consistently good. I've always found the food to be OK-to-good -- the burgers are quite good.

Sonoma's is a great little bar and grill for the common man. It's not posh, nor is it a dive bar. They have great local talent playing on the weekends. The food at this establishment is similar to most bar fare and the beer is a bit pricey, even for the domestics. I may have missed the happy hours or the specials. The bathroom (at least the men's) has always been VERY clean and tidy and thank goodness it's a multi-user bathroom. This is a big plus as many establishments I've been to are 1-person restrooms which is difficult in a bar-setting. The parking is on the other side of the shopping center so it is a little awkwardly placed for this establishment. There is also outside seating which gives this place more of an appealing setting. One stand out of this bar and grill is the stage for the local talent on which to perform. It's a very generous stage which I don't see very often for bars and restaurants that accommodate local music performance. It is a very solidly raised and carpeted level, seemingly built into the bar with plenty of room even for a 5 or 6 piece band (unless the band is YES or Dream Theater). There is also a dedicated soundman area which is really nice for bands whom use a mixer/soundboard. This stage is top notch giving Sonoma's a quality establishment for fun-seekers. Clientele seems to range from 20-somethings to 50-somethings giving it an appeal for all adult ages. I definitely recommend this place for entertainment and meet-up purposes.

Stumbled upon this place because my two year old niece wanted macaroni and cheese. Couldn't have chosen a better place. The macaroni and cheese was delicious! She ate her aunt's and her own. I tried the crab macaroni and cheese and the dance going on my palette was superb. You can get it with Old Bay or without. Hanfs down one of the best that I've had in a restaurant. Great bar atmosphere with happy hour Monday thru Friday. The waitress was a sweetheart. Never got het name. Laid back place tucked in a strip mall in Columbia.

I cannot tell how the food was but what I can tell you how I felt with one of the employees/manager. So girls night out is what we wanted with live music. I searched and found this restaurant with good reviews and the band seem like it was a good one. We travel all the way to Columbia md to visit for the first Time as we enter, we are greeted with a cheerful host who said you can sit wherever you like. We see about six or seven table up front in front of the band of which two where reserved. All of a sudden this employee appeared from nowhere and told us we can sit in the back in the cornerfsr away from the bandI stated I don't want to sit in the corner I'd like to sit up front where all the empty tables are. He told us he's not breaking up a table for just two people with an attitude at that. Now if you can sit anywhere why are you telling us to sit in the back? Needless to say we left and never got a chance to see the band or enjoy food . I will never go back there I will never recommend this place to anyone!! Lol I felt like I had to go to the back of th bus.
