All I can say is WOW! Came here with a group of 12, we were welcomed like we were family. Then enjoyed an absolutely fantastic brunch. Service was excellent and the food even better. SoBo is now on our "best places to dine" list

Nothing special. Average eatery. Wouldn't go back. Stopped in for a lunch while in the area. Saw the 4.6 stars on Google review and decided to try it out. Frankly a bit disappointed with the food and service. I guess I expected more from a 4.6 star rating. Food is not bad. Average or a bit above average. But once you consider the price and not so great service (had to keep asking for refill), it's not a very good bang for the buck. Bottom line: Food isn't bad, but it's not a place I'd go back. Better options are available.

This is most definitely a place for an awesome dinner (which I missed unfortunately). The lunch menu is great too, though limited to primarily sandwiches. The French Dip sandwich goes down well with Resurrection ale (7% abv). The staff is very friendly. The neighbourhood is cool. Don't see what's not to like about it.

I've gone for brunch and dinner and the food is always very good and very reasonable. It may take a little while to come out if it's busy, but it's worth it. One of the few quality restaurants to go out for a nice dinner in Federal Hill.

This is a very quaint place to eat. I had the most delicious breakfast I have ever eaten at this place. It's a bit hidden so it could be difficult to spot while driving. Amazing food. Friendly staff. The fact that they serve alcohol is a bonus. They also sell artwork from local artists that hangs on their walls. Well worth it to stop in.

Local restaurant that does it right. Good options for vegan and gluten free restaurant goers, and also a pretty locally renowned burger. I haven't had anything that I haven't liked. Very friendly wait staff, and they are known for their wine selection. They also have live music a couple times a month on Tuesdays.

I'm staying in Baltimore for the bar exam, and I decide to venture across the way, on one of the hottest says of the summer. And I ordered the 3 spread platter with double hummus and one spicy feta. It comes with sliced cucumbers and pickled carrots and some toast. It was really good. I also had a hot ham and cheese with the cherry mustard, which I was skeptical about, but I'm happy I took the leap. The food was really good and the service was good too..

The service was nice, and the restaurant was really cute. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t up to the quality that I’d expect with the prices that they were. The hot chocolate tasted like dirt, and our “freshly” made buns had mold in them. They fully comped us for the moldy buns, but I will not be eating here again. The prices need to be lowered or they should hire a new chef.

I'm not even done with my food yet and had to rate this restaurant 5++ every item we ordered, Mac and cheese, burger, and smoked salmon sandwich...are all phenomenal. New favorite ♡ we're coming back to try everything on the menu.

All the food here is excellent and very high quality. It really stands out among the other restaurants here and has a very diverse menu so something always new to try. Personal favorite is their steak though my family got the pot pie and that was outstanding as well

Wish I took more photos of the place the food was so exciting I just wanted to dive in. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went here for Sunday brunch and had a great time. We got a homemade cinnamon roll to share between two people and I would seriously it to anyone visiting! It was amazing, as was the coffee and the rest of our food. They brought out homemade blueberry pound cake to start the meal too - everything was fantastic. The portions were so large that we will get at least one more meal out of it, so the price we paid for the quantity/quality of the food would be hard to beat!

The food is amazing and each dish has always one thing that always puts it over the top. The Mac and cheese is out of this world; do yourself a favor and add jalapenos. This is a good brunch spot in Fed Hill. Grab a reservation if you want a table, or show up and hope there's space at the bar. The brunch menu has a little of everything so everyone should be able to find something they like.

I came here with a large group on a Monday night. No major complaints, but it was nothing special. The dinner portion was smaller than expected: probably the same amount of food as received with an appetizer. Wait staff was friendly, but not very fast. It could sometimes take 5+ minutes for one of us to receive a refill, even when wait staff was coming to the table regularly to check on us.

We had a great experience here yesterday! We were there for brunch. The biscuit sandwiches were so yummy. We had both kids with us and everyone was friendly and helpful. The owner or manager(not sure) came over and spent some time with us and played with my son. Great service and great food!

They have delicious fresh baked bread. If you ever have a chance to try the apple bread, do it! They have great vegetarian options - no boring pasta and veggie burgers here. My favorite is the shakshuka.

We came for brunch on Saturday with 6 adults and two young children to celebrate (loudly) my daughter’s birthday and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming!!! Even with a variety of orders, many drinks, birthday gifts and cake, the manger and all wait staff were friendly and made us feel at home. The food was terrific and the drinks delicious! I highly recommend SoBo Cafe and look forward to returning soon.

I have been to Baltimore a few times but this trip around I got an Air BNB right in the Federal Hill district of the city which is right next to the SoBo Cafe which I was going to try in which I was traveling with my business partner who we run a marketing and multimedia business which being in town for the weekend for a business conference we were going to direct our 300 and plus staff team to come eat there. We was appalled that we were locked out while other guests was being served and their staff members rudely looked at us through the windows

Small and quaint. Can feel a tad congested but it is a small problem because once you receive your drinks and food you will understand why this place has 4 starts. Delicious food and friendly staff. We have been there for dinner and I would have rated 5 stars. But then when we just went for brunch the congestion made me lower one star to 4. Overall this place is highly recommended.

Good spot for brunch. Their baked goods are so fresh and tasty. The service is attentive but not overbearing. The music playing in the background is usually pretty good. I like the place and return fairly often. Street parking can be a challenge, but it's Fed Hill. Parking is an issue everywhere.
