I was really excited about this place and the hotpot. The person who was our server rushed us to order and was stressing me out. I then wanted to order appetizers however she snatched the menu right out of my hand before I could finish ordering and walked away. There was only one table being served so it wasn't chaotic or busy. I will never return.

BEST TAKEOUT DUKBOKKI I'VE EVER HAD. This restaurant is so good. Their food is great but the service is also really good. The ladies are so nice.

Love the customer service. You have the options of freshly cooked food or of cooking it on the BBQ yourself.

Horrible service, wait 1 hour for nothing.

Use to come here in the past and fell out of love with this place. After seeing the newest reviews on yelp of new management, I decided to check it out again. I was not disappointed. The food flavors have returned to being enjoyable again. The kimchi taste like it is home maded and has less flavor then other Korean BBQ restaurants but besides that, everything else was presently good. Despite all of the old negative reviews on other food sites, this place is worth checking out.

The dol sot bibimbap is truly excellent. The place always seems to be on the quiet side, but it has a sort of homely feel.

I've been looking at this restaurant for about 2 years... When I finally did go in I was pleasantly surprised of how delicious the Korean barbecue is... It's very authentic

Madeleine Coe

Just moved the area and have already eat here twice. Great price for dishes, my favorite is the spicy squid and pork. The bibimbap is awesome, enormous and only around $11. BBQ is a little pricier, but all you can eat. Worth it if you're a big eater, but I can't even finish one dish, so I don't think I'll be spending the money anytime soon.

Great place to have Korean food nearby! Delicious Gal Bi Tang (beef short rib soup) with very tender beef! Stone pot rice is also flavorful and healthy.

Visiting from out of state, we decided we wanted Korean food and picked the place closest to us. I am so glad we did. Everyone in my party loved the food. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely come back.

I came in to eat lunch and asked for 차돌박이(chadolbagi) Which is thinly sliced ribeye, non marinated brisket. I was told that they didn't allow for you to cook at the table anymore due to not having ventilation on the table, and told me the meat was cooked inside the kitchen, then served. I told them that was fine. The first thing I have noticed when I got the meal was that the meat looked marinated, and wasn't ribeye meat more like rump meat or leg meat, looked lean and tough like bulgogi, definitely not ribeye. The owner lady told me that it came marinated. I know what 차돌박이 is, which plain non marinated ribeye briskets. I told them I did not want that, it was not what I ordered. The owner tells me l the meat is flavorful and that I should try it. But I didn't want to pay a premium price for something I didn't want or substitute it with lower quality meat. She told she'd replace it with another meat. I did not want to change it with another meat, and told that I wanted kimchi stew instead. She reluctantly took it back after failing to persuade me to eat a food I did not want. I was a bit concerned about the next food I ordered because she looked very upset, but still ordered due to being late for work and I was with my dad, and he was eating while this happened. He had the kimchi stew also. As they prepared my meal I saw the chief sticking her head out the corner and stared at me then went back inside the kitchen which I thought was suspicious. As they brought my food I felt uneasy about it and stirred it around to see what was inside and found a rice cake that was half eaten, so I put it to the side and asked the owner someone put a rice cake in there half eaten, she replied that it breaks off sometimes and they cut it off with their fingers. That to me looks half eaten, as you can see it in the picture, I tried to replicate it by eating one myself and looked identical. I reluctantly ate the food because I didn't want to waste it, so I put aside the old freezer smelling pork and half eaten rice cake in the stew and ate. As I was eating I saw the chief stick her head out and looked towards me again while I was eating, at this point I felt disgusted. I have never ever complained about food anywhere. Not even a type of person to write reviews, and I'm most likely to just eat anything rather than wasting time. This time it was different, very disgusting, unprofessional and the food was pretty bad, also very rude service/fooling around with customers food. I Thought people would want to know what I experienced today, that people have a right to know. There are plenty of Korean restaurants that taste way better than here. I almost got forced to eat and pay for something I didn't want and ate something they fooled around with in the back. I am never ever spending another dollar at this restaurant. I would never ever recommend eating here period, not worth a dime of your dollar.

Food ok, service not so.

The restaurant was very clean, beautiful pictures of menu items but they were not on the menu we were given and don't know if they were available to order. I should have asked. I must start by saying that I don't like Japanese steak houses because I like all my food on my plate at one time and not doled out one morsel at a time. If this describes your preference, don't order the bbq menu items. The meat was not very well marinated. It was not as intensely flavored or as spicy as I like. The banchan was beautiful and delicious. The salad was also very pretty and tasty. There seemed to be lots of repeat happy customers and they may have discovered their favorite items. If I go back, I will order already prepared dishes and skip the BBQ. Not enough pics or descriptions for menu items. Go for a visit. If you don't like it, don't go back.

I really liked this restaurant. I really really did. My girlfriend and I would come here weekly for some savory Soondubu. This restaurant has two shortcomings which made us decide never to come back. The customer service is not that great. The server that works there will not check on your table or give you the check after a reasonable amount of time after food is finished. We witnessed a group of three wait 20 minutes after their food was finished to receive their check. They tried respectfully calling to the server several times, who did not hear them, so they eventually stood up and asked the server nicely at the server station. This was at a time when there were only two tables in the restaurant... Secondly, and the thing that made us stop coming, was a charge of $1.50 for an extra bowl of rice. After coming to the restaurant more than half a dozen times, I was charged on my final visit for requesting an extra bowl of white rice with my meal. This restaurant never charged me prior to this request for additional rice. I felt taken advantage of because the check is hand written in Korean so it is as though the customer is expected not to question these types of decisions. I would suggest coming to this restaurant for good Korean dishes that are not your typical KBBQ dishes, but be cautious of these issues.

I've recently moved to the area and had been looking for some yummy Korean place for a while -- glad to have tried this place!! Place is very clean, food was great authentic taste! Will definitely come back :)

Service was friendly and prompt. The food was good, basic Korean fare. It wasn't outstanding, but good. Most of the dishes are very reasonably priced, however I felt the Korean BBQ was a bit lacking in quantity for the price paid. While this isn't the best Korean I've had, the options are a bit slim for Korean in this area, so if you're have craving for Korean and are in the neighborhood this place is probably your best bet.

Hands down my favorite Korean restaurant. Very authentic and flavorful dishes. Came for early dinner here once with my noob hubby who was trying Korean food for the first time. The waitress was so nice, and taught us how to mix and eat the food. Great service, great food. Would recommend.

Service and food was awful. Don’t come here. The food was cold. Yeah, a Korean BBQ with cold food and zero explanation. The waitress told us next time order the hot food. Well there won’t be a next time. Cause this places sucks. I never put bad reviews on anything I usually shut up and eat. But I was so dissappointed. The waitress basically chose how she wanted us to eat. Because it was 8pm and they didn’t feel like serving us bbq, turning the stove on nor giving us warm food. The tea also tastes awful. Never again. I will not be fooled by the reviews. I think we got treated bad, because we are not either Korean nor white. Awful, thanks for ruining my night and it was our anniversary.
