Delicious seafood chimichanga. The waitress brought out chips and salsa before dinner. The restaurant was nicely themed and comfortable. The service was great. However, it took a while for me to receive my check at the end of dinner.

I wasn't there long. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, the service was satisfactory. Although, my waiter didn't seem to understand what a half and half was (Arnold Palmer) and brought me half sweet and half unsweetened tea! Lol I'd go back to this place

After making a reservation, when our small group of 4 arrived, they couldn't find it and we had to wait for our table. When we were finally seated, they refused to accept two different forms of valid id that I provided and was therefore not allowed to get a drink. After we asked for the manager several times, he refused to show. My whole group was left with long wait times, mediocre food, barely decent service, and I was left with no drink. Would recommend to avoid this place at all costs.

Just left there few minutes ago steak was burned explained to the manager that my child could not eat it because of that he said to us why didn’t you tell us before you start eating it. Like really how should we know it was going to taste bitter. And then he went to the back looking upset to get another steak we just said can we get our over $100 bill so we can go. What a nasty and rude manger will NEVER go there again I b sure to let everyone know food okay over priced and to have to deal with a rude manager. STAY AWAY!!!

Nice place with bold and colorful ambience. Loved the food and the cocktails too. Loved the fajita bowl with chicken and shrimp chimichanga rolls. Got 3 margaritas for $10 and they were pretty good, specially the spicy mangoneada. Staff is also nice Will definitely try more options there.

Came in Friday night with a group of 26 people. We had made our reservation a week or so in advance to make sure everything would go smoothly and we made sure we would be able to do separate checks. Once we arrived we confirmed that separate checks were possible and again we were told yes. After our waiter took orders he came and told us he had messed it up and forgot to do separate checks. He handed us the long bill with everything on it and asked us to go through it. He leaves and we are trying but not even sure where to begin. I go get the manager. Once I explain the situation he goes from speaking good English to barely knowing and understanding English. He came out to try and help and it took an additional 30 minutes for us to finally get our correct checks. The food was poor quality and the wrong food was given to more than just a few people. We were there for a birthday and we had asked if they could do what we saw them doing for others and they said yes but forgot. We go to dinner in large groups several times once a month at least and this is the first time we have had a dinner with use bad service. The manager didnt seem to care and no one in the restaurant really wanted to help.

Good food, good place. So, this is street tacos to Tex-Mex, you get to pick. It's fresh food, big portions. Dinner platters run $9-$25, average $16 a plate. If you leave hungry, that's your fault, not theirs. One thing you see is a consistant circling of all wait staff checking on tables. Even the manager circles through. The manager even cleans tables. That alone gets a 5 star because the manager is working on the floor participating in the turn around of tables. They send coupons frequently by text or messenger too.

Food was bland compared to other Tex-mex. Just as pricy as uncle Julio’s! 3 waiters brought out food for 9 people and waited/argued/confused the orders. Wait time from the time we ordered to the time food came out was 27 mins!

Its good but pricey. Staff is nice but you do have to be patient because most of the staff doesn't speak a ton of English (enough to get by though) The drinks are strong and food is hot and that's the best part. There is lots of color and plenty of seating as well.

Great place to go if you feel like being ignored. We went here on a Friday evening. We waited over 30 mins for a waiter, that we had to call over. The manager did come out and apologize and even OFFERED to take a percentage off our bill.To add insult to injury later the manger returned and informed us that he could not take a percentage off the bill (as if we had ask him to do so). Not only was the the service disgusting but so was the food. A total waste. I wouldnt send my dog to this place. Worst service ever!

Excellent food and drinks. Good service, a fair price. Two things set this apart from run of the mill authentic Mexican restaurants. The food is obviously prepared fresh unlike the microwaved meals at most places. They work hard on the fun atmosphere. Well done.

Food is decent, but service is really slow. It's much better than the other places that have used this space, but still nothing special. It's very, very loud, but big enough that you can get a table without the long peak waits at other nearby places. They also have always been willing to make reasonable substitutions that help with special diets. As for the bar, it's the biggest one in this neighborhood and usually has specials. It has lots of televisions and has kept the sports bar theme from the last owners, mostly with a soccer leaning. However, for a sports bar the staff should know how to operate the televisions and what channels they get. I once went there and they couldn't figure out how to tune in abc for a college football game. We had to use our phones to look up what channel that was for their provider.

Drinks are bomb! It’s a great place to go for margaritas and bar food. Just a great place to get together with friends after work, on the weekend, heck - for lunch! It’s fun and the food is pretty good but some dishes aren’t that great! But do the burrito challenge for sure - it’s dope.

We had to keep finding someone to help us with whatever we needed. This place is probably better for Happy Hour or just drinks. Food quality is not there.

Father’s Day very slow service. 10 minutes for chips and salsa. It’s been 15 minutes no drinks. We are regulars and are disappointed today. 1 star 20 minutes no drink. I’m about to walk at of one of my usual favorites.

Great Tex-Mex place with awesome drinks! I have been to happy hour here several times and love it! Salsa and chips are reasonable also. It gets a little loud in the bar area, but overall a good time!

We love this place. The food is always hot and delish. The atmosphere is festive and they have the best "Happy Hour" frozen margaritas! Their fajitas are the bomb! Plenty of them and you will not go away hungry. They also keep bringing the chips and their homemade salsa which we appreciate.

When I went to sit down at the bar, the bartender looked at me and never acknowledged me. He paced back and forth behind the bar and never asked me what I wanted to drink or if I wanted a menu. After looking around, I noticed that I was the only black guy at the bar. That's when I said to myself " ok, I get it." He seemed friendly to everyone else accept for me. After being the only black guy sitting at the bar without food, drink or a menu in fronted me, I finally ask the young hispanic bartender for a menu. I literally set at the bar for 7 minutes with him walking pass me talking to the other hispanic and white patrons and not being attentive to me at all. Regardless of the discrimination that I encountered, my bill came up to $20.68 and I still left the bartender a $12 tip just to show him that I am taking the higher road. I will never go to that place again. It's obvious that people of my skin color aren't welcome there. That place doesn't deserve a star.

Went for lunch, was given a dinner menu (clearly marked "dinner" at the bottom). I asked for a lunch menu and was told that's what I had. I asked if this was new, she said yes. I ordered dinner for lunch. Another table was seated and I overheard the same question about the menu. That table was then given the lunch menu that I was accustomed to. I told our waiter about it and he said he would take of it. I dont know what he took care of, but I paid a dinner price for my lunch (and had a lot of leftover food). I wont be back

This was the worst experience I have ever had at this location. I attempted to place a takeout order on a Saturday evening (I expected it to be busy of course). The young lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. Before I could state what I wanted, she asked me if I was a grub hub delivery driver which was out of left field for me. While trying to place my order again she began sighing and mumbling under her breath. It was so bad that I had to hang up and physically drive to the restaurant to make a complaint. The manager Juan was very apologetic and helpful but I will no longer come to this establishment

OMG!!!!!!! Beautiful doesnt even begin to describe this place. I love the art,sculptures, painting. All the staff have smile on their faces all the time. So it's a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other plus a patio to sit during good weather. I haven't tried the food yet but if ur looking for a place for awesome ambience, Senor Tequila's is the place.

Cosy place withe great Mexican meal. Personal is very kind and friendly. Inside is quite noisy but outside is a quite place with the same level of service. Some dishes are enormous in size, be careful if you are visiting alone, you would better order them for two people.

Decent food and pretty good drinks from the bar. I enjoyed the ability to host a semi- private event with DJ. We had a very large crowd and the wait staff was very accommodating. Not the greatest location if most of your friends or family live in DC. But again, decent for area.

I ordered tacos al pastor and I’ve ordered them before and they always come with rice and beans which is why i like ordering from here but this time i don’t get my rice and beans and on top of that they don’t even pack cilantro and gave me ONE sauce for two orders of tacos and to top it off the lady tries to tell me that I’m lying because they’ve never served tacos with rice and beans?!! Dude I’m never coming here again

My wife and I came here for a late Valentine's Day meal. Good atmosphere with an attentive waitstaff. We came on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm so it was modestly busy. The food was amazing. We had the queso for an app, simple but tasty. I had a shrimp and scallop burrito and loved every bite. It was well seasoned. We also had fried ice cream and my wife had a massive margarita along with a three meat burrito. All this was around $50. Very happy with our visit.

One of my favorite places to eat on the area. The staff is great. Their portions are good. Overall excellent food and not as pricey as other similar Mexican food in the area. Love their diablo sauce and their spinash sauce burrito. Vegetarian friendly as well.

Kitchen putting out carnitas in place of chorizo. And bartender not informing paying customers. Man sat next to me and told me and I saw. I asked the bartender to make sure my dish would have it as menu stated. She assured me it would When my food arrived I could tell it was ground beef seasoned with chili powder. I am a chef of 44 years. The manager never addressed issues. I saw them scurrying around and trying to cover it up. They are cheap with the guacamole happy our food a insult 1 flaunts cut in half for 5 bucks. They were out of dinner napkins and were giving bar napkins with food the roll ups with the fork and knife look like dispenser paper from bathroom. Whatever it was it was see through. Unacceptable when you're paying 15 in $16 for entrees we may need to pay their linen bill I don't know but you think they would went out and bought some decent napkins too many cut corners been there too many times same experience

A broad selection of Tex Mex and creative dishes. Excellent Pollo Mole - large tender chicken pieces smothered in warm dark mole sauce. A mountain-sized Molcajete filled with beef, shrimp, chicken, cheese, poblanos, jalapenos, and onions. Four Salsas appetizer and Street Corn were delicious, too.
