I had an American cold cut and a Caesar salad. My husband had an Italian cold cut and fries. The cold cuts were delicious and they are generous with the lunch meat. The Caesar dressing was a little off (I don't know if that normal b\c this was the first time I've had it). The best part is looking thru the grocery store at all the authentic Italian ingredients and remembering all the food Grandma Angie and Dora used to make.

Don't even ask why it's taken me so long to try their pizza. I've had their subs in past and they were delicious. I don't think I'll ever get pizza again elsewhere as it doesn't nor could compare... certainly not in EC, Catonsville or Columbia. Flat bread pizza doesn't count as that isn't truly pizza. If you're familiar with NY pizza and have been on a quest, let it end at Skittino's. The smartest thing I did was request partially baked since I'm 15 min away. Worked out perfectly to gave hot pizza, not rewarmed version,at home. You've gotta like your cheese as that is the prominent but best feature. Crust is thin but perfect. I'd have had a more settled pizza had I waited after removing from oven but couldnt wait. Knife and fork time ! but being slowed down was a good thing. Get to Skittino's, don't wait as I did.

I love their pizza, best pizza I have found in Catonsville. The Greek salad with their dressing is very good also. I have only had delivery service but one day will make it into their store, I just found out my grandfather used to buy his meats there all of the time.

I called in an order for a well done pizza. I was quoted 20 minutes. The pizza took 40 minutes and was barely even cooked. I couldn’t even pick up a slice without the entire thing drooping. Whoever was working the oven clearly has no idea how to cook a pizza

I had never been here before the other day. My mother in law took me and we had a great lunch. The little market that is attached is so cute and it's in a quaint little part of town. I had mozzarella sticks and french fries (Im a vegetarian and they didn't have a whole bunch of other veg options that I personally like) but they were delicious. She had an Italian cheese steak hold the sauce, it smelled wonderful and looked really good (If you like beef). The staff were very kind and we got our food quickly. It was hot and fresh.

My son works in the area and we picked him up for lunch. He recommended this sweet, old fashioned neighborhood store. There are just four four-tables, and it was busy. My cold cut was very good, and the pollock Johnnie's everyone else had were just as they remembered them to be on the Ocean City MD boardwalk. This store/restaurant is a treasure.

It my families Go-To for pizza take-out. The Italian market, while smaller than others in the greater Baltimore area, has an excellent meat selection. Ask for the Deli Hot Italian Sausage on your pizza.

I come for the pizza. No toppings. Plain cheese. And make it a big one. This is what good pizza tastes like. Quality dough that's not over-worked and tough. Perfect sauce with the right balance of zest and sweet. Quality cheese (if you've ever had/purchased cheap cheese, you know there's a difference). This place is not cheap. Any pizza toppings I've had outside of pepperoni have been sub par, which I find weird based on the quality of everything else. I've had more things from here, but the pizza is what I come back for.

My family has been ordering from Scittino's for over 15 years and has always been more than satisfied with their quality food. The pizza is always tasty and their 1/2 subs are much larger than anywhere else. Whenever the whole family gets together we always give them a call. Since I've moved out-of-state one of the things I miss about Catonsville is their wonderful variety of food.

Scittino's is THE BEST!! We've been going there since about 2005 when we lived in Catonsville. Maybe a little before that. We moved half an hour away to Eldersburg, MD and we STILL make special runs to Scittino's! They have 20 inch pies! We always get black olives 1/2 pepperoni and it's so good. They also have a killer fresh meat section and they make their own sausages. Our favorites are Garlic Romano and Rosemary Lamb. They have a bunch of others, as well. This place is so good. Family owned, great staff, and all the customers there are awesome, too. They always hold the door open for me when I roll out with my pie...and baklava and sausages. Can't recommend Scittino's enough!

Scittino’s has charm and great staff but this was not a home run meal for me.. I ordered the 12” pizza with sausage , the chicken tender combo and fried dough . When I called to place my ordered I was very pleased with the service. the gentleman that took my order was very kind , as was my delivery man who was extremely polite. The pizza was fantastic , delicious and piping hot when it arrived . However my chicken tender combo was over cooked and I could taste from the rock hard fries that the grease hadn’t been changed recently. Lastly came what was intended to be my sweet treat, the fried dough. More like fried play doh , this “fried dough” had absolutely no flavor it tasted like I was biting into cooked pieces of paper towel super bland not even a hint of sweetness or flavor .. the description on the menu says the dough is sprinkled with powdered sugar ... I could literally count the specks of sugar on my dough that’s how lightly it was “sprinkled” While I was disappointed I have to say that all and all the service and good pizza , may be the only reason that if I’m ever in the area that I would stop for a slice. I hope they work on providing a more flavorful and consistent finished products when it comes to the other items on their menu

My wife and I stopped by on a Sunday in July. The weather was hot. Scittino's was busy. They had quite a few customers eating and shopping. My wife is Italian and she shops for Italian food products a lot. Most of Scittino's groceries were expensive compared to other Italian markets and regular grocery stores. The meats and seafood in their deli case looked warm and stale. The AC in the store wasn't working well which left the indoor temp in the 80s. I was not impressed with Scittino's and I won't go out of my way to visit again.

Scittino's makes things you just cannot find, like Lithuanian sausage, and things you can get elsewhere, but they make it better, like Kielbasa. I am everyone's best friend when I show up with a 20" Works pizza and cannolis from Scittino's!

A GREAT old-fashioned 'hole in the wall' deli with a small market selling a number of homemade meats & ethnic sausages. Their large pizzas are so big that I have to put them in the back of my crossover minivan. They have hot foods and fresh made deli sandwiches. If you go there, take a large appetite - especially, for their fresh desserts. Enjoy.

I'm new to the Catonsville area, and had heard a lot of good things about this particular pizza place. I ordered here a few times, and i will say their pizza's are superb. They are slightly on the pricier side, but not high enough to prevent me from ordering. My problem with this location, and ultimately why I've stopped ordering here entirely, is because of their poor customer service. It is advertised on google that they're open until I believe 11pm on Fridays. Although, when i'd called to order at 9pm, i'm told they had stopped taking orders. I called the next weekend, thinking maybe I had spoken with a disgruntled employee to be told the same thing. Which is fine! But said employee had an attitude. Any other time I met their early deadline to order, i'm often placed on hold for extended periods of time - and met with sighs if I had any additional requests. Just over all not very friendly employees. I love pizza, as much as the next person and would've made a valuable regular customer - but I'd rather not be met with this treatment every time I order.

Totally passable but way over rated. I've gotten some really, really good pizzas from here, but it's not always a guarantee, and everything non pizza related I've ever got was not good in the slightest. My Reuben today arrived soggy, but not cooked fully, with spots of unmelted butter and no toasting on the bread. The market inside is on point tho, and is really great. Everything about this place is fine, it just feels like the cooks dont care or arent that great.

The pizza is okay but the shrimp chicken cheese steak sub is really good. I get provolone cheese not American cheese on it. It comes with a lot of meat on it. The staff is friendly. They have a giant TV toy cam watch while you sit and eat. They also have arcade games for the kids... or for you if you like. And you gotta try the peach punch... delicious!!! They also have a variety of other menu items to choose from including chicken, hotdogs, salads, and egg rolls. Enjoy!!!

Pizzas are great and delicious. I came here and ordered a white pizza and the works. The white pizza had so much feta cheese. Just add some olive oil and it helps reduce the saltiness from the feta. The works is simply 5 any toppings of your choice. If you like tons of toppings on pizza, this one is overkill! Overall the pizzas are delicious but priced very high.

This is a classic old world neighborhood grocer that still has butcher services, homemade frozen Italian specialties for a quick fix dinner and delicious fresh baked breads and sweets. They also offer cannoli shells and filling (ask at the counter) so you can take home a dessert people will love. The best part is they will accommodate the quantity, cut, etc that is right for you. I've also been shopping here for 5+ years and they continue to excel. BTW...pizza is delish!

The absolute best there is. You cannot beat the Italian cold cut. Only major downside is their calzone/strombolis are premade so no customizations and potential freshness issues in regards to the dough. Still a 5 banger in my book.

In business since ‘72. Excellent cold cuts. Tasty cannoli. Ruben sandwich is quite good. (As was my companion's Italian cold cut sandwich.) I made a mistake when ordering the pre-made green salad: I didn't realize that it came without dressing. There is oil and vinegar at each table, and there are little tubs of premade dressing near where the salad is sold. Because I didn't understand that there was no dressing, I found the salad quite dry and not very tasty. My mistake. I'll know better next time.

First time there and will be back! Got a slice of pepperoni pizza and a cheese steak. Cheese steak was very tasty. It wasn't too greasy and had a good balance of meat, cheese, and other toppings. The pizza was excellent! The cheese tasted like fresh mozzarella and there was an ample amount. The sauce had good flavor. We will definitely go back for a full pizza. The only downfall to the place is that seating is limited to 4 tables.

They are all great people there they help you to their full extent and they do it very happily. I was there ordered a Sicilian pizza with my aunt and my son that was good and we saw they had ribs and my son and I got two full racks of ribs and took him home with us. They also explained that they make their own sauce and season it. They asked if I had had any of their ribs before and they gave me like a taster which is like three ribs and oh my God I will be back for more I live in PA but I will come back down to get ribs again and plan to try more of their food including the pulled pork. I plan to even check out their Deli and possibly buy one of the bundles they have at the butcher shop part of their store. Very very very very satisfied will be back again to try more. Our local deli and we love it. Their fresh, homemade sausage links are outstanding; as good as my grandmother's and worth the visit. Meatballs are excellent. But, they charge TWICE as much as Wegmans for a large can of Berio olive oil. All of their other prices are fine. Sal, his son, and all the staff are great.

I love this place, sometimes it's a struggle to decide to get stuff from the market or to order food to go because you can smell the pizza as it's being made. The market does have some not so easy to find stuff like squid ink pasta. Their meat counter doesn't have a huge selection but what they offer is good quality. They have a refrigerated and frozen section where you can get sharable portions of some of their pasta dishes and desserts.

Great square pizza, simply the best around and worth every dollar. Subs are well priced and are very filling. However, the egg sandwich with all the meats and provolone cheese on white toast is my jammy jam! The cannolis are to dye for as well. To sum it all up, just get something to eat here you won't be disappointed. Turkey platter is also the bomb!
