The food and service lived up to what I'd heard, excellent. We arrived about this 9:30p on Thursday and we had a short wait. The service was great , our waitress Carol was so good and patient with our party of five. The food came out with great efficiency. Overall I would consider it a great place to dine.

I had the best steak in my life when I came to Ruth Chris. I have been to Manny's Steakhouse a few times, and I do prefer the environment there. However, the food quality at Ruth Chris is outstanding! You definitely get the food that you are paying for when you go there.

High prices, but the food is on point. Bring a date here if you're trying to get laid, but be ready for the valet AND the dress code to stay winning. A good meal for two people is about 100$ a person, if you're doing it right. Make sure to take your dessert to go and you're sure to smash.

The food was very good! As a vegetarian (who eats fish) there were not a ton of options (which I expected) but I still had a wonderful time and really enjoyed my food. There is a dress code so be ware (we were not but they didn't seem to worried). I had the Chilean seabass and it was absolutely amazing! The only disappointment was that they couldn't take the green Chile out of the lobster Mac and cheese. Other than that it was a very enjoyable placem

Ruth's Chris is absolutely amazing. Expect roughly $150 for two but you get the premium experience with it. The steaks are always cooked perfectly and marbled to perfection! As for sides, you can't go wrong with any of them but I just tried the lobster Mac and Cheese and it is the greatest Mac and cheese I've ever had. Period.

I moved to ABQ and have had phenomenal food at the Ruth Chris is San Diego and Palm Springs but, sadly, I would rate this one mediocre at best. I usually love the cream spinach and it was awful at this location. The service was pretty good but I'd probably pick somewhere else next time. Not worth it.

Hands down most delicious steak I've had from a restaurant in this city, served on a hot plate it just melts in your mouth. Sides and desserts are a treat as well, the place is upscale with a dress code, prices do match the ambience but are worth every penny.

The attentiveness of the waiters was excellent, no glass left unfilled, no plates.left.empty, wait staff virtually invisible but right there when you need something awesome, atmosphere not at all stuffy diners very respectful and helpful, restaurant itself there were no odors or sticky surfaces silver.plates and glasses were spotless, white napkins were not shredded at the ends and were crisp white. Lights were dim not dark location was perfect easy to do d, easy to park and an element of safety definitely a 4 1/2 star place

Fantastic service amazing food, yes it is pricey but totally worth it for celebrations and special occasions. Reservations are recommended and I did online reservations for my anniversary I was able to pick a day and time and upon arrival they had a nice booth setup with a thank you card for choosing them on or special occasion. Never felt rushed or like we needed to speed up to clear out. Our waiter even had the online reservation notes I put in letting them know of a food allergy. I will definitely dine here again for a special occasion. Thank you Ruth's Chris for a magnificent dinner.

This place is hella boujee. Their cowboy Ribeyes are probably my favorite dish. The inside is very decor filled and clean. The waiting staff are always on top of their game, including the bar tenders. There is also a dress code, so make sure you don't show up in a tank top or athletic gear.

I made reservations on line the day prior for our anniversary. They called me the following day and confirmed as well as asked how many years. When we arrived there was an anniversary card, table was nicely decorated for the occasion. Our server Sarah was outstanding, food was prepared to perfection. Was a terrific experience. Nice staff... requested no nuts when making reservations... was served two plates including nuts before being a nut free dish was served... they're not too overly concerned about food allergies I guess- just my commentary. Portuguese Stew was more of a soup - perhaps just a difference of opinions, steak was perfectly prepared and tasty, dessert was good. Per the sommelier the chef requested the riesling with first course and chard with the spicy second course. My opinion he had it backwards - my opinion. Overall I'd be leery going back due to nut issue.

My husband took me out for a Birthday dinner. This was our first time eating at Ruth's Chris. We will definitely be going back! They were fabulous! Kyle and Winnie our wait staff were top notch. They were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The food.. OMG, mouth watering. We had spicy shrimp for an app. I had the filet with garlic mashed and my husband had the lobster mac and cheese. Thank you for having high standards, great staff and awesome food.

We loved the dinner. During restaurant week, prices were reduced. We chose the steak house salad and the ceasar sald. As appetizer we had bang bang shrimp. We had filets and center cut pork as our entrees. We ordered mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, fries, sweet potatoes, creamed spinach, and onion rings as sides. Two of us ordered alcoholic drinks. The peach sangria and the blue malibu were great. For dessert, we had cheesecake with either blueberry or apple topping. All in all, we had a great time for around $500 with tip. Our server named Winston was perfect; very attentive, friendly, food arrived timely, and gave great suggestions. Thank you for a great time. Ruth's Chris is expensive but worth receiving the high level of product and service.

We were celebrating the life of my son who passed away 2 years ago. He would have really approved Heidi was very understanding and Even brought us dessert with a heart and my sons name. If you are looking for a great steak this is the place to go, be sure to ask for Heidi.

2 stars because food was good. No stars for our waiter. She did not come to us until we had to waive someone down 20 minutes after we got water from a bus boy. She still took her time. We finally got our order in. Food came from the bus boy. The bus boy left the tray there. No waiter. Our food sat there so we just grabbed it. Another waiter realized this and helped us, not our own waiter. Our own waiter only checked on us once. She checked on another couple like six times talking to them while we had our food on a cart. She also forgot the shrimp my cousin ordered. Oh and 4 pieces of shrimp was $15 and forgotten till later but they didn’t forget to charge us with no apology. I went to the bathroom and she still had not gotten the check in 15 minutes. The food was good but service was terrible for an $18 burger! I love Ruth Chris’s food but service was beyond poor and overpriced.

I know, I know... Why would a pescatarian even go to a steak house? It was for a work happy hour. I had the cucumber cup to drink and the "vegetarian plate" as my entree with an added 6 shrimp. I hate when restaurants put in such little effort into their vegetarian dishes. It was called Vegetarian plate and didn't have a description. It was any three veggie sides or potato sides for $25. I chose au gratin potatoes, steamed broccoli, and asparagus. Broccoli was pretty meh, others were real good. Cucumber cup was amazingly refreshing and balanced. The 6 shrimp were a decent size but cost $15. There are definitely better places to get this kind of food for cheaper, but rest assured, vegetarians, you can eat here.

Terrific steak joint. We went for our wedding anniversary and the staff made it special. The creamed spinach was delicious and identical to the dish I had at the Atlanta restaurant years ago. Servers were attentive but unobtrusive. Both our steaks came on sizzling plates exactly as we had ordered them. The restaurant is beautiful and impressively quiet considering how many people were there. Well worth the money, but we'll only go back for special occasions.

I was hoping my dinner at Ruth's Chris would be a 5-star experience but a couple of really important elements of my experience were not as top notch as the prices and publicity would warrant. Maybe I am missing the point when it comes to the hash browns, which others rave about, including our waiter. They seemed overcooked and were hard to chew so I only took a couple bites. My main course was surf and turf. The lobster was well prepared and delicious. The steak should have been a "10" (based on price and reputation) but it just wasn't. It was a little tough to cut and a bit hard to chew, which was disappointing after my anticipation of a melt-in-your-mouth cut of meat. Based on this experience, I would probably choose another steak house for my next special occasion.

Left there about an hour ago. Service was subpar at best. The waiter didn't visit the table as much as he should have. To top it off he was training a new person. Food was excellent but the bar was slow. Almost finished my meal in the time it took to get another drink. The busboy was at our table more than our waiter. I've been here before and it's been better

The shrimp cocktail was excellent nice huge shrimps. The steak was over cooked and had essentially no flavor. The biggest disappointment was the lobster tail, I am pretty sure that it was old. It had a super fishy taste and I didn't even finish it. The potatoes with cheese wasn't the best either. I had a better meal at Manny's Steakhouse.

This establishment is usually our go to for date night or valentines day but this particular time it was a disaster. 9 friends came for a friends gender reveal for their new bundle of joy. It started off rough. They forgot our drinks, our silverware was dirty, our glasses had lip marks but to top it off, the guest of honor ordered mac and cheese and once he took a bite there was a hard plastic item in his mouth, he had chewed it thinking it was baked cheese, he spit out and got disgusted. Waiter gave him a free tiramisu and his meal free. Mind you our bill came up to $1300

Ruth's Chris steakhouse offers a in bar special of a 6oz filet with 3 shrimp and a glass of wine for $30. My wife and I love this special because it's just the perfect amount of food without getting stuffed. Service is always too notch. Will definitely return.

Great meal! I've had sea bass in all over, including other Ruth's Chris restaurants, but this one was beyond amazing. Seared to perfection on all six sides. Every bite had a crunch and the fish was so succulent. The pineapple hash and sauce were phenomenal. As usual the lyonnaise potatoes were seared perfect. I know I used perfect a lot already but this food experience was one of the best. Everyone at the table was super happy with their entrees. Our server was also perfect. There when you needed him but didn't interrupt your meal. The food runner was young and being watched carefully by the manager and was EXTREMELY polite when dropping dishes. One thing I have to mention is the floor manager several times cleared tables and handed plates off to a server right in front of our table. Not only is that rude but they would consistently drop flatware, kind of annoying and gives a Sizzler like ambience. Now the reason it's four stars, and honestly it might drop to three stars is because of one server. She was taller, with glasses, and although not rude to me she was so disrespectful to the bartender being so passive aggressive. And it's not so much but how loud she was about it. It literally stopped our conversation at the table because she was complaining so loud about having to make her own drinks and that she "could actually read tickets". I get it, service can be stressful, but honestly I don't care. I have a stressful job and I'll be damned if any clients/customers would be effected by it. In fact, most people have stressful jobs. That's why we get paid to do it... If it wasn't for her if give four stars, possibly I'll drop it to three. It may seem silly but there's an expectation to these kind of restaurants. I have yet to see this happen at Ruth's locations in Scottsdale, Los Angeles, or Chicago or any restaurant where a small table can get a several hundred dollar tab.

Took my son here for his birthday we had a marvelous time our waiter Rhett was so professional. He made our experience so peaceful and fun. The food was so amazing, the wine was wonderful and the dessert tremendously tasty. If you going to ask how much it cost maybe it's not for you but if you want to have a nice delightful evening of eating and drinking and good atmosphere this is a great place to go. Food was good, ended up eating so many appetizers I didn't have room for the steak so I ate some of it and asked the waiter to pack up the rest of the food for us to take home. However upon returning home, everything (dessert, an appetizer, etc) was there EXCEPT the steak meal. $60 for the plate, I was pretty disappointed. Oh well

First time dining at Ruth Chris. The food was excellent but the service was not even close to par. The night started off really well with our server. He was attentive until we took our order. We ended up not seeing out waiter again from the point he took our order to the end of our entree, which may not seem long, but when you don't get any water refills and wait 30 minutes from the end of our main course to order desert, thats a problem. He also was recommending our deserts to my girlfriend, when I was using the restroom. At this point we both wanted to just leave and ask to get our deserts to go along with the check. He apparently was telling her that I would not like the desert that came with my 3 course pre-fix meal. Which is strange for some random person to tell another random person what he or she may or may not like. From the time he took the desert order to deliver the check, it was another 25 minutes. As he left the check, we waited another 15 minutes and never saw him again. I saw the manager Tom walking around the room more than I did our waiter. In total we were serverless for an hour and fifth-teen minutes and saw our waiter less than 5 times the entire night. Maybe it was cause one of ordered for restaurant week special. After reading the reviews on yelp , it seems to be a trend with service and restaurant week.

The service was great, but they only know how to cook a steak rare. Ask for any other level of cooked and they will still bring it to you rare, send it back and they burn it and overcook it and give it to you that way. Although rare is delicious, some people cannot process that level of uncooked meat. For the price they charge for a steak you would think they would pay more attention to getting your order right. I will honestly never go back, it was that terrible.

The receptionist treated me very strangely when I arrived and that’s something that made me feel awkward. I had a reservation and many tables were open but he told me to sit down, I complied. Another couple walked in, they also had a reservation at the same time as mine, they were seated right away. Also at the end of the night the bus boy I believe he was Hispanic wasn’t very friendly to my date and I. Our server did a great job and the food was very good as well. Because of those two people I am not able to say I had a five star experience.

Service was great! Took my boyfriend out for his birthday here. We've been to several different places and decided to give Ruth's a try. Note that everything is A la Carte. Steaks are great and was served on a 500 degree plate mines came still sizzling directly off the grill! The dining room is decorated beautifully! The prices are steep so be prepared, there was no steak on the menu less than $40.00. I ordered the 12 oz rib eye (didnt seem that big to me but was still a good size) and sweet potatoe casserole (that was a meal all by itself and tasted like pie!) My boyfriend ordered the NY strip his was bigger and cost less and a loaded baked potatoe. We had oysters 6 for $18, I wouldn't waste your money on them other places are def cheaper, taste better, you get a variety and costs is less. The drink I had was a mango mojito it was awesome! We had also had the lobster bites under the appetizers it was excellent! All in all great experience we will go back!

This place is amazing, our server David was great. We went here for my wifes 50th birthday, it was a complete surprise for her, I set it up and she loved it. I had the 16oz rib eye, and she had the petite fillet. The sides are huge, well worth it, as everything else that we ordered. We will be back.

Petite filet was outstanding, crab stack appetizer was not good, did not include everything that appeared on the plate in the description, and the things not described shouldn't have been included. The service is spot on, servers are well versed in the meats, cuts, sides, cooking temp, etc. The steaks (filet mignon is my personal favorite) is absolutely positively cooked perfection. The wedge salad, delightful. The deserts, a perfect ending, the ambiance is low light, romantic and fragrant. The water is even filtered and tastes like Fiji water. There is no better place to eat, hands down. Not Murray's, not Manny's, not Capital Grill or Fogo. All excellent places, but none better than Ruth's Chris.

This place was an amazing place to celebrate our anniversary and our waiter Ben was fantastic. Before coming to Minneapolis I wanted to find one of the most highly recommend steakhouses with elegant fine dining so I could wear a dress and feel glamorous for a night and according to your website there is a dress code. While waiting for a table the amount of people who were coming to eat dressed in sweats, hoodies, and ripped clothes was just ridiculous. I know it really shouldn't matter but it was the point that this is fine dining and you should look like you have some self respect. Other than that everything was perfect and tasted perfect. Took my business partners here for a delicious dinner when i was in town and the food was absolutely amazing. Best steak I’ve ever had, so tender and buttery it literally melts in your mouth. Worth every penny and then some! The staff’s attention to detail is impressive! They are right there the second you even think about asking for something. There is a manager named Wendy that stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and she went over all our questions about the food and recommended a fantastic bottle of wine that was a good price. She was so welcoming! I can see where the rest of the staff gets it. I will definitely be back to dine in style again or have a glass of wine with the great people that work there! Top - notch!

Their steaks are always tasty and cooked to order. Served on super hot plates that keeps the steak hot. Their gratin potatoes are exceptional and come in family size servings. Add a glass of wine and you have the ingredients of a wonderful evening. Only complaint was the bread.

I always eat in bar area. I enjoy the activities around a bar rather than a more formal dining room. Drinks are good size and properly made. The food, as it should be , is the star attraction. Always a favorite of ours! Don't bother with anything but the filet mignon, it's incredible! They have a Ruth's special which includes an appetizer (I got a soup which was delicious!), Main dish, side, and salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and they had everything customized for him wishing him a happy birthday in the menu to letting him have a choice of dessert on them. He got the bread pudding which was delicious! All around just a great experience. Expensive, but worth it every once in a while.

Delicious food and attentive staff. They have an elevator to the main dining area if you have someone in your party who unable to walk up stairs. Many people in my party ordered of the prix-fix menu which allowed them to have a salad, entree, side and small dessert at a reasonable price. I ordered the Mahi Mahi and it was delicious. The lobster Mac and cheese was also very good and had huge chunks of lobster in it. I can’t wait to go back.

Due to a previous low rating for a situation has been cleared up(thanks to Pop for reaching out and explaining to me more about what had happen that night), I can now rate this restaurant and the stuff on how I felt the event for the Arturo Fuente Cigars and Cadmus Wine Dinner and service was on 06/21/18. The event was great. The event include 5 course meal with a wine pairing, and three cigars. Worth the price. The server was great. We had the pleasure of having Alex as our waitress and she was fantastic. The server as a whole acting as a team and check on everyone in the event. Great job to them also.

I have eaten at almost every steakhouse in Albuquerque, and I have to say that the filet mignon is the absolute best I have ever tried. The service is also impeccable. Happy hour or not. Sat at the bar, waited 45 minutes for a salad. And the drinks were just as slow. The only reason they got a 3 was because the food was completely amazing. Service really needs to take a look at those bartenders making decisions only customers should make. Not Taylor, she was pretty good. The other one apparently thinks she knows what people are thinking. It's sad.

We went there for the first time tonight and highly disappointed. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our order and we didn’t get our drinks until the food came out. Luckily we got water when we sat down because our waitress never came around to refill our drinks until we were done eating our meal. The steak was mediocre. I’d compare it to the $10.99 steak you get at Outback that actually comes with side dishes. We just expected a lot better service and flavor for the price. We have no problem paying for an expensive meal if we walk away talking about how great everything was. The best part of our experience was the busser, she seemed to care more than the waitress. Needless to say we will not be going back.

It should have been better. Skipping the details, the person who took the reservation messed up completely and it was not something that could be fixed. The manager did what he could by keeping our wine glasses full. So on one hand the evening was a disappointment but short of comping the meal the manager tried to redeem it for us.

High quality experience overall for a party of nine I was styling for a great home sale for their elderly father and celebrating his next steps. The sevice was prompt and super helpful in selecting what was appropriate for the table as far as appetizers go. Delicious! Hashbrowns, asparagus, crab cakes...my mouth is watering just thinking about it. All of that was super. My "Special Cut" New York strip was flavorful but chewy and had about 3 oz.. of meat after cutting through it all (my dog was thrilled when we arrived back home)! Not bashing. Sometimes you get what you need. :) Everyone had a really nice experience. Great place and top notch service!

Pleasantly surprised on many levels. First, parking was easy and complementary valet. Second, the noise level was moderate yet you were spaced appropriately to minimize loud talkers. Next, the food portions are. GIGANTIC to the tenth power. The smallest size I found was an 8 ounce with most size in the 12-20 ounce range. Suggestion: come after three days of fasting. Also, the food tasted great and some unique side dishes. We had the roasted corn and it was amazing along with the creamed spinach. Lastly, it was our anniversary dinner and they made a few small little touches (see photo) that made a big impression. #datenight #anniversarydinner

Steaks are excellent (as well as the other food), but brace yourself for the price. Wine was surprisingly reasonable for such a high end restaurant. Easy to get to, IF you know where to find it. It's tucked back in with some small office buildings and out of sight. Google it or you'll have trouble.

Just celebrated another anniversary at Ruth's Chris. Their service and food are both top notch. You do pay a premium for it, but this place is an experience if you've never eaten here before. All of their steaks are usda prime, and always perfectly prepared. You can't go wrong with any of the entree choices here. They also have an array of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails; drinks where you can not only taste fresh herbs and fruit in them, but they're clearly put together in a thoughtful way, so you aren't just tasting alcohol, or all sugar/syrup. Not saying that other places aren't making good cocktails, but Ruth's Chris is one of the places that actually made me realize how good a cocktail can really be.

Unfortunately this Steakhouse was not holding themselves accountable for the amount of trashy people not even dressed in any sort of clothing for the atomesphere, but sweatpants and sweatshirts seemed to be the up to par dress code. Sad that me and my wife paid for our meal totaled more than a family of 4 clothing that was seated before us even though we had reserved seating as well. The staff was great, and food was excellent. Hope the snooty lady seated next to us falls and breaks her face for being disrespectful. 3 stars for posting business casual attire and letting whoever and whatever in the building. It upsetting considering all we were expecting of this place.

My wife and I took our daughter and son-in-law for dinner. Their meals were fine, but my NY strip steak was so full of gristle that it was only partly edible. The manager took it off of the bill, but i have a difficult time seeing how an upscale steak restaurant like Ruth's can serve steaks like that. My wife tells me to only get filets. I will probably do so in the future, but I prefer the taste of NY strips.

This is the first time that I am writing a restaurant review. I am usually very accommodative and willing to compromise to enjoy a dinner experience. The experience I had at Ruth Chris’s Steak this valentine was the worst I have ever had. we made a Valentine dinner reservation for 7:30pm. We were ushered to a Banquet room which was decorated nicely with colorful curtains, candles and had beautiful chandeliers. Whereas the mood was set right, we had a horrible service which completely spoiled our day. We were served soup/salad as a starter. We finished the starter, but the empty plates remained on the table for a long time. We had ordered two Cowboy Rib-eyes these took a long time to come but we figured it was because it was valentine’s day and they had many orders in the kitchen. Finally, our food was brought, and it was the wrong order. They brought us two steaks which were completely not Cowboy Rib-eyes. We informed our waiter that, that was not the order we put in, we explained to him that Cowboy Rib-eyes are different from Bone-In-Filet which he had brought. He was not apologetic at all, he grabbed the plate from the table and even spilled the meat sauce on the white table cloth, almost spilling it on me. He then told us 'It will take a while" and left. We got this impression that we should have had the Bone-In-Filet since it is all Steak. We had ordered a bottle of wine that we almost finished on an empty stomach. After a very long wait, the Cowboy Rib-eyes were brought. We were hungry for such a long time that finally when the food came, we had lost appetite. The Steak needed more salt, but we did not have salt on our table. We called the waiter and he brought us salt and pepper from another table. Throughout our meal no one checked on us and when we called the waiter for the check, he did not even mention anything about dessert. The bill was $245, and we left a tip of $25 though it was undeserving. The service we received was not even worth half this cost. Due to the long wait to have dinner we ended up missing our movie. It was a terrible dinner experience. It did not feel like a Ruth Chris’s Steak experience at all! Such a pricey restaurant should offer better service and need to train their waiters.

I have never had a poor experience at this restaurant. The service is always wonderful and the food is delicious. Their lobster mac & cheese is a must and I always love the different cocktail specials they have. At my most recent visit the service was especially nice. Maura, Janeta, Lori, and Zach were all friendly and displayed amazing customer service skills (I would love to find people like them for my own business!) making our dinner that much more pleasant. If you're looking for high quality food and atmosphere I definitely recommend Ruth's Chris.

Everything we had there was amazing! All the food were cooked and prepared perfectly and everything we ordered tasted delicious. My husband and I both shared two appetizers, a salad, soup, and a surf and turf. It was just enough to fill us both up without feeling stuffed. I love, love, love the butternut soup! I could eat it every day. We ended our meal with ice cream and cheesecake, that was on the house as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. The waiter we had was great too. We would definitely go back again! :)

This is a very nice restaurant if you've never been to it I've been to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse all over the United States and this one in the Twin Cities is a very unique spot. The food here is delicious never can go wrong. The staff is very inviting and helpful with any questions you might have. The scene in the restaurant was very comfortable and inviting. Very quiet it can get very romantic if you ask for a designated seating area. If you're ever in the Twin Cities stop at Ruth Chris Steakhouse and enjoy a nice dinner! And tell em Tbone sent ya! P.S... make sure you save room for the creme brulee! Sorry I didn't have a pic for it it was gone before I could!

In all honesty I really only come here for the happy hour menu which turns out to be a good deal for craft cocktails and quality over quantity menu fare. Though this high-end chain restaurant being in Albuquerque means that the usual professional dress code of at least wearing a collared shirt, actually pants and no backwards facing baseball cap can sometimes be ignored in a city used to casual attire.

I've been here a few times over the years. Service is sketchy at best, especially tonight with a server that will remain anonymous. It is incredible to me that I would place an order for beer, wine, and entree add-on and it be forgotten ... even after it was written down and especially for the prices this place charges. However, the product that comes from the kitchen is second to none and I'm thankful that the chef showed up tonight as service did not. The only redeeming quality of this place is the food; if you want service or management to intervene, be prepared to wait and grow old. Three stars is a luxury to be afforded here and only because the food was absolutely delicious.

I make reservations for Valentines Day 3 weeks ahead and reserve a table in the wall and when we get there they say sorry but they are already taken and when they confirmed my reservations 2 days prior to Valentines Day they said everything is good . I get there and have to wait and then they sit us in regular table . We ask for bread 3 times and finally the bread comes out. Asked for a extra ranch and that never came. I expect to get great food and service if your paying more than $ 200 for your meal. I recommend to go else where. Plenty of places that have better food at half the price. Thumbs down

Awesome experience! The prices are high but that's what Ruth's Chris is. I wouldn't say the food tastes like its worth what it costs but I was not disappointed, we walked away full and happy and I could still taste the steak and Lobster bites after we left. Everything is a la carte. So remember that when it comes to your pockets. The dining room was amazing and romantic. My favorite items on the meal were the Lobster tail, fried lobster bites and the sweet potatoe casserole. The steak could've been.bigger but it was soft, cooked to perfection, very well seasoned and it was still sizzling when they bought it to us.

While dinner was excellent this review is based on the amount we paid for the product. The service was attentive if not a bit too full of themselves, consistently claiming to be the best, as if trying to convince us. The food was good, flavorful but used a lot of butter and not that much better than the usual steak at a nice restaurant. Overall we had a good evening but for $200 I would've hoped for more.

New Year eve menu was delicious, although wait for seating was long. Made reservations a month ago and had to wait in lobby by door for about 35 minutes after time that was set. Very crowded and cold because lobby doors kept opening with other customers coming in for their reservations and had to wait. Also had to stand or go into bar which was crowded with people who were drinking. We don't drink. Arrangements should be made for convenience waiting area with seats.

My wife went here and had a GREAT dinner. I've always heard good things about Ruth's Chris, but have never had the opportunity to eat here because they don't have a restaurant in my area. Service was great, food was great, and we genuinely enjoyed our whole experience. For us, the prices are a little high, but you do get what you pay for here. I will definitely come back here for a good steak dinner. The portions were large; my wife and I could split a steak, appetizer, side, and bread. The place is a little different from other high end streak restaurants we have been to. I recommend checking this place out at least once, maybe for a special occasion or such. You will not be disappointed.

Just left the place with disappointment. Went for mother’s day dinner with my family and mom. We were seated at the ballroom with large group of people and the room looked like a buffet with metal chairs. Asked if I can be reseated at the main room, I made the reservation almost 3 weeks ago and didn’t deserve to be seated at the ballroom. The manager came and solve the problem we were taken to a nice room, however some employees started looking at us and rolling their eyes making us feel uncomfortable. The server was ok and the food was great. However when we finished eating we weren’t even asked if I want my leftovers to be boxed, I asked for some boxes and the server just dropped them at the table and left. Other people were getting their food boxed. Since it is being a mother’s day every mother was getting a flower (a rose) our server didn’t even give me or my mom a flower. I felt that My family was discriminated at some point. Big disappointment, this was family tradition to go there every year on mother’s day, never again. Worse spent $500

I have been going to Ruth’s Chris since it opened. My family and I went the about 3-4x a month. A few years ago they fired manager Ben. Biggest mistake. Ever since he has been gone the restaurant has gone down hill! My brother and I took my parents there for their Anniversary on 12/22. First I must say that our waiter was great! Then cameo the food. My brother got a $60 steak and he asked for it to be cooked medium and it came out welll done. My father’s came out the same way. The chip salad has been make a lot smaller and the coffee came out cold. Not cool, Cold! This is supposed to be a Steak House, therefore the steaks should always come out perfect. They did take the 2 steaks off of the tab and the drinks which was about $125. The check was still I’ve $300. If you want a good steak this is not the place to go. I highly recommend Citron. Expensive but the food is great and the $60 steaks always come out right!!!!

Seriously amazing!! The best service and wonderful staff. I did get to meet Tom Hanks so that was a major plus. But honestly the service on its own was on point. Some steaks did get mixed up but the manager was very accommodating and made sure to make it up to the table. We'll definitely be back. It is pricey but very worth it! The atmosphere is very fancy feeling so I don't recommend bringing kids though I saw some people with children. Overall we'll definitely be back as soon as we can afford it!!

We went for a nice dinner. Nice atmosphere, waitress was nice. Started with the crab stuffed mushrooms. So good. Warm bread was great also. We ordered 2 Cowboy steaks $65 3 11 oz fillets 50$ asparagus $10 2 salads $20 . We ate our salads and waited, and waited and waited. Finally after 45 mins our steaks came out. 2 were ordered medium (came out more than rare) 1 fillet was supposed to be medium (was rare) 1 medium well. Also rare. The waitress asked about our steaks and we sent them back. Came back out charred on the outside still raw on the inside. My husband and son just wanted to eat so they chocked down as much as they could. My daughter doesn't mind raw I refused hr to eat mine as I can't stand tasting blood. The steaks were tasteless. We are from Oklahoma if you want a great steak go to Cattlemans!!

Best steakhouse in the Twin Cities, period. The steaks are broiled in a 1500 degree oven and come served to you on a 500 degree plate in sizzling butter. We got the truffle butter, parmesan, bread crumbs on top of our filets & they were phenomenal. The service is incredible, the staff are so attentive & friendly, and the atmosphere is warm & intimate. Their dress code states Business Casual but see many people in casual-casual lol. I like to go to Ruth's for special events (birthdays, Valentine's, anniversaries). When making your reservation let them know what your special event is & they will tailor your dining experience around it. Just went for an anniversary & they put 'Happy Anniversary' confetti on the table and gave us an on-the-house dessert with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. Such an amazing restaurant, you should definitely try it.
