Visited here on a Friday night with our son who was finishing his ‘plebe summer’ at the US Naval Academy. We were seated right away and the staff were very nice and attentive. The food was excellent, and the servings enough to where we each had to take away the rest for later. We were treated to an unexpected performance by a dancer-which made the evening for our son. I highly recommend Royal Karma-it was some of the best Indian food we’ve had since being stationed in London, England!!

Awesomely fresh food! This is this perfect place to take your vegetarian friends. And if you are a meat eater, you will be satisfied but know that this place can turn you into a staunch vegetarian. There is belly dancing on Fridays that is loads if fun. The all you can eat buffet is more than worth the $10.95 cost ($14.95 on weekends). The regular menu is a wonderful variety of Indian food and you can order it as spicy or mild as you desire. The deliver through online delivery services or you can call it in and pick up your meal. The price is right for the buffet and regular menu. Be prepared to take food home! Lastly, the ambience is very relaxing. The bar is comfy and offers a nice variety of drinks.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the lunch buffet. Everything was well prepared and the wait staff was excellent. The handmade lime soda is very refreshing. I also left my wallet at the table and our waiter ran us down in the snow to return it. All around great experience.

A rare treat tucked away on a quiet side street. Attentive staff, very well prepared dinner and a clean establishment to boot. Even the menus were clean. We visited while traveling and will be sure to make Royal Karma a future destination. I highly recommend Royal Karma for Annapolis Indian Cuisine.

Oh. My. God! Finally a curry house that gets it. As British ex pats in America the quest for a good curry house has been long and disappointing. Royal Karma has broken that chain of disappointment. Biriani was great, extremely generous portion, genuinely enough for three people and very generous with the meat and shrimp. The lamb vindaloo was superb, maybe not quite as hot as I'd expect but still pretty fiery. Lamb was very tender and large enough pieces that the flavour wasn't overwhelmed by the spices. Will absolutely be returning :)

Ordered takeout, food ready when arrived, friendly service and atmosphere. The restaurant seemed a bit small in size and was packed with diners. Food is pricey at almost $16 a plate for takeout. However, the meals we ordered were well packaged, tasty and not over spiced. They have decent vegetarian options. There is an active bar that was filled with patrons. All in all, a good place to eat once in awhile.

My daughter & I visited tonight, spur of the moment. The food was outstanding! We both had shrimp dishes, I had the Tikka Masala. The spices were perfect. The rosemary naan was the fresh & the herbs were delicious. We will definitely be back again, including picking up carry out when we don't want to cook or eat out. The service was great & we appreciated having a full choice of alcohol as well. A welcome addition to the area's choices of restaurants. ☆☆☆☆☆

We love Indian cuisine so we drive all over trying to find the best, this truly is the best Indian Restaurant we've eaten at. The food is delicious, fresh and authentic always! The staff is friendly, courteous and extremely efficient, we never want for anything, anticipating our needs and they ALWAYS ask how we are and if we are enjoying our food, if we have any concern they won't hesitate to take care of it. If we have any special requests they are happy to oblige. We eat here several times a month and for Indian food we will always come here.

Went for the cheap lunch buffet. Great for people who want to sample diffrent things. I did not see a normal menu out durring lunch time, just buffet. The buffet is small, just a few options, but it is a good mix of meat and vegetarian dishes, and most were not spicy, also had dessert. If you are more "experienced" in indian food you may prefer dinner for a bigger selection. The traditional fruit and yogurt drink was really good too, next time i will try it served the savoury way versus sweet. I will be back.

They made a fresh, new appetizer for us called palak chaat which was phenomenal. I have never had anything like that and it was one of the most memorable appetizers I have had. The rest of the food was good but nothing amazing. I thought having the live bellydancer every night at 7pm was a little strange considering that it may not be age appropriate for some kids. Also, I'm not an expert but I don't believe that's an Indian tradition.

This is a decent place for Indian Buffet. Enjoyed the ambiance and the special dosa which is included in the buffet. Food is average in taste but beware of the food soda - which may fill you up quickly. Variety is good and the price is affordable.

Attentive staff and the Panang curry had the perfect amount of lemongrass. Good Indian/pan-indoasian food. Ironic/kitschy atmosphere with some gaudy chandeliers, Bollywood movies projected, and Indoasian art on the walls. I'd go back.

Surprisingly good! Out of the few Indian restaurants I have visited in the area. This is by far the best. My husband and I went in the evening and were the only ones there for about 30 mins. Appetizers, entree, and dessert were really good. Finally found my Indian spot.

Sunday buffet. Food was very good. Owner brought out some specialities for our lunch at no charge. Cost was a little high as the two of us racked up a 31$ bill and we only had water to drink. Some items were moderately spicy. There is a bar with full service drinks.

Their lunch buffets rather good however I would not go there or anything else. The stuff is usually friendly but not always. The food is usually good but not always. Again but the lunch buffet price if it's on a weekday is worth it but they up so on weekends. Again other than lunch buffet I don't go here.

I came here last week with my wife for the first time and to my surprise the taste of the food was that of authentic Indian cuisine. The bathrooms were squeaky clean Which is usually not the case in the majority of Indian restaurant We dined at. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and our server even went above and beyond to make my wife feel special as it was her birthday. We are not new to fine dining And I must admit it was that of a five-star experience. We can’t wait to come back

BEWARE...Never again....We ate dinner last Saturday night and were exceedingly disappointed having enjoyed take out previously. If you have a coupon do not expect it to be honored, my Korma entree was tasty but half of it was canned pineapple chunks and when I pointed out that I was unable to eat pineapple the waiter stated that Korma was "fruit" and nuts....finally, my son's Tandoori Chicken must have been reheated from lunch because it was hard as a rock and we should have sent it back.

Came at 12:30 for lunch buffet. They open it at11:30/11:45am. I thought the food was okay, not bad at all. The chili chicken was my favorite. The food temp needed to be warmer but this is what often happens at buffets.which is why I don't go to them too often. Would've loved to have had some samosas. Will try to come again for regular dining service to compare made-to-order.

A revelation in Indian cuisine. I loved it! We found this place through Groupon, and I was so glad we decided to bite on the deal. The food was so tasty, and we will definitely be going back. I'd love to hit up the buffet, so we can try even more items. Standouts were the Saloone Gobi (sp?), or cauliflower appetizer, which was amazing. The "butter paneer" was equally incredible. Breads were perfect, everything was so delicious. The service was really attentive as well, and friendly to boot. It's sometimes hard to get both, but they took great care of us during our entire visit.

Real Indian food in Annapolis, thank goodness. It hasn't been open very long, so I hope people will try it out. I went on a whim for take out, and it was really tasty. Food was as good as what I had when I was last in India, and nicely prepared. I had pakora, naan, chicken tikki masala and raita - all properly done and tasty. Second take out experience was also great. I met the owner when I picked up the food, and said I'd enjoyed the meal. He said the chef was here from Mumbai for three months now. That explains the authentic taste. Anyway, it's good. Try it out. They are nice people. It is such a pleasure (and relief) to have good ethnic food in Annapolis. It's in the shopping center by the CVS and next to Ferguson's, walking distance from the Courtyard Marriott.

I liked the choices available during the lunch buffet, except for the salad. I would suggest that the dressing is kept separate from the lettuce, etc. so that the salad is not withered. I put a little on my plate as I wanted to try a bit of everything, but did not to taste it as it was not appealing at all. The rest if the offering was quite good. I would definitely go back.

This has been my favorite Indian restaurant for years. No matter where I go(moved to NC for 4 years and now back in MD), I always end up coming back and loving the food and service here! My family and I have only come here for Indian food for at-least the past 4 years and I even had to bring my boyfriend to try it out and he said it was the best Indian food he has had! Make sure you check with the restaurant to see how much the lunch buffet costs, especially if you're a regular customer. We came in during Mother's Day and they jacked the lunch buffet up to $30/person (over double their usual price) and had no signage of this price change! When we asked the waiter why our bill was higher than it typically is, he said they had a Mother's Day special. Although, nothing on the menu was different than usual. We're outraged and they have certainly lost our business. We would highly recommend that they rethink their business strategy so that all consumers are informed of any "special" pricing that they had.. Despite having the same menu/options. As far as the menu goes - their seafood is far from fresh. Their mussels smelled spoilt, and so did their shrimp.

This restaurant is one of the best I have ever been to. I eat here often since this place is very close to my office. The food taste amazing, the place is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. On Friday evenings they have a live belly dance show and the owner makes you feel like family. The HOURS posted on the FRONT DOOR are Wrong. They apparently don't care enough about their customers to even take the time to communicate the hours correctly. Go to nearby Basmati restaurant instead. Grrh!
