Surprisingly good. I saw surprising because I was just looking for a sandwich shop near me. My sandwich was so good! I also got a broccoli side that was delicious and I want to recreate at home. Staff was friendly. Will be back!

How have I missed this place?!! Tried it today for the first time and my philly cheesesteak on potato bread with chips (made on site) is delicious. If you're hungry and looking for something delicious try this place. I'm definitely going back!

Great sandwiches and reasonable prices. I love the Cubano! Very good and filling! The atmosphere is also very nice. It's a smaller place but has a nice cozy feel to it. You order at a counter and the food is either brought to you or you can pick it up. I have only tried a few of the sandwiches but each one was great!

Really great sandwiches! I got the Philly cheese steak and my friend got the tuna steak, both were delicious... So was the spicy broccoli side dish. And they had a wine slushie that was awesome, too! Looking forward to going back again soon.

Overall, I wasn't impressed. The crab bisque had good flavor, but it didn't have a lot of body. I was hoping for something heartier. The grilled cheese was fine. Frankly, I could have made something nearly identical at home. In the end, the prices were the tipping point for me. The food wasn't bad. It just wasn't worth $12.

Traveling for work, I stopped in for a quick bite. They have a different take with thier Philly cheesesteak and it was delicious, fresh bread and a crisp dill pickle. Broccoli shred was terrific too.

Meh 2.0 - 9 months later (12/2017), I thought I would give this a try again. This time the veggie mushroom and cheese (veggie steak and cheese) and a side of the broccoli salad. Both were flavorful, but still the salt level is crazy for my taste. I really wanted to like it, and if they can cut the salt in half so I taste more of the food and less of salt I could recommend it. For now, skip the food and have a beer (and add some chips, but ask for salt free)! I'll try it again but Meh the first time. The chips would have been good but there was a layer of salt and the same with our sandwiches. Tuna OK but would prefer it seared. PO boy was OK if the salt were halved. Beer was good though! Next time we'll try the Cubano and cheesesteak which appeared to be popular. Service was also very good which is part of the reason we will try again.

Great food, prepared fresh, this time I enjoyed a Cuban sandwich. The chrizo was a nice touch on the classic sandwich. The shaved broccoli salad was tasty but a little too much dressing and shaved parmesean cheese. The owner is Young, polite. Staff was polite and courteous. I didn't give 5 stars because the cashier was on her phone, while resting her head on the front counter.

Regionale has been a great place to grab a sandwich since it opened a little more than a year ago. For anyone unfamiliar with it I would say it must closely compares to Panera. However, the quality of the sandwiches, homemade chips, and soups surpasses them by a mile. You can't order anything bad and they serve beer and wine as well which is an added bonus! Even though I would say it's a little pricey for what it is ($13 for a sandwich, side, fountain drink, and pickle) I still love coming for a quick bite to eat. One other thing I wish they would do here is rotate the seasonal sandwich more often. But really nothing to complain about and I'll keep coming back! A picture of my grilled cheese and potato salad is included.

I first learned of this amazing sandwich shop at the Root Studio Open Mic. RegionAle sandwiches were served and were the highlight of the evening along right along with the music and poetry. My next visit to Ellicott City will definitely include RegionAle!

Love their fresh approach to the sandwich shop. It doesn't feel at all like a chain, but it's "fast casual" at the same time. The food is more expensive than Panera but you definitely get what you pay for in quality.

This is definitely the best sandwich place in the area. I've been going here for a couple years and everything I've ever ordered has been amazing. My favorite is the California chicken club, but I think I've ordered everything on the menu at least twice. Even the sides are outstanding, but know that the chips are addictive. You can't go wrong here.

Best sandwich place around by far. I've been going since they opened almost 3 years ago. Everything is delicious and some great vegetarian options. Prices are fair for what you get. The buffalo chicken sandwich has two chicken breasts on it with a great sauce. There's a seasonal sandwich that rotates through to give regulars something new to try. And don't forget the sides. I'm not a salt and vinegar chips fan, but I get theirs every time. The broccoli shred is a little healthier and has great flavors with a little heat to it. My cousin came to visit for a week while I was stuck working and ended up eating lunch here every day.

It was good and I'd recommend checking it out. But I gave it 4 stars because I was disappointed. I feel like the sandwiches were unique, but that's not what I was expecting. I was hoping for something closer to what made each sandwich popular in the first place. But, it was good, definitely better than average.

What a great selection of sandwiches from across the country. As a Midwesterner, I went to try the pork tenderloin. I would not say it tasted what I'm used to but it was still a great sandwich as were their chips. I look forward to trying other ones.

Great sandwiches. Extra to add side and a drink. Courteous staff and clean restaurant. Limited seating. There is no accommodations for large groups. Biggest group to have seating likely to be 4 or 5 if that, and you'd have to move tables around to get that many seated.

I’ve been to the place twice and very much enjoyed the food and ambiance on both occasions. An excellent, unique take on the Philly cheesesteak, and the sweet potato chips are outstanding. Had an ok sandwich and some ok chips. But if I am paying $35 for two meals I'd expect something restaurant quality. Instead I got a limited selection of beer and so-so sandwhiches. If you want to try so. If you want to try something new and have some extra cash then give this place a shot, at the very least you will have food in your belly. Other googlers have found something they love here, maybe you can too.

I'm trying to write a review that I'm not gushing about a restaurant but Regionale does everything right and I love their food. Their online ordering system is one of the best I have ever seen especially for those with food allergies. They have gluten free bread! I'm not a vegetarian but their vegetarian options are delicious-I highly recommend the mushroom cheese steak and the beet pastrami for those more adventurous. Their soups are succulent (crab bisque and the squash soup, so yummy). The fountain drinks they serve are nice and the iced tea is fresh and delicious but know that they have fresh fruit/herb infused ice water that is oh so refreshing. The staff is super friendly and courteous. It's a smart restaurant and smart choice.

For our first visit, we ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and the New York Hero with sides of Old Bay Chips and Roasted Potato Salad. The food came out quickly, and was generously sized. The sandwiches were vey tasty and the sides were, too. This is a nice option for the area, almost comparable to a Panera. One of their draws is the selection of ales, which we didn't sample this time.

Fast service with a good, changing beer selection and pretty good sandwiches. At my recent visit, I tried the chicken club. I wouldn't get it again. There was very little chicken in the sandwich, and surprisingly, the whole sandwich was not very flavorful. I feel like the aioli was barely on the sandwich (which was a disappointment, some I love aioli and avocados, so avocado aioli felt like it would be a win). The side of broccoli shred was tasty and fresh -- I'll get that one again!

Great sandwiches that have unique takes on classic toppings. never had pickled onions before I came here, it was an excellent change of pace to a normal topping on a sandwich. The Lady that was working was very nice to me and wife and out baby girl. She took the time to come and see us and make sure everything was okay with our food.

Love this place! The food is really good, and the service is friendly and quick (not fast-food-quick, but quick enough to place a to-go order). This is one of the few places that I've actually wanted to stray from my "usual order" habit. Each time I've gone, I've gotten a different sandwich, and haven't been disappointed yet. Besides the sandwiches, I've also tried the chips, potato salad, and tomato soup. All are really good, and the potato salad is a unique recipe. This is a restaurant I'm eager to share with out-of-town guests and coworkers!

Enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich (maybe even more that mission’s?) and side of sweet potato chips dusted with some kind of magic. Limited seating inside if you are eating in, and no shades on the windows, so there’s a harsh glare around sunset, but otherwise good atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Somewhat uncommon beer selection, if that’s your thing.

They have a diverse menu with very regional favorites from around the country! They have a vegetarian section of the menu with at least one vegan options which was quite inventive and tasty. Their selection of drinks was very wide and their non-alcoholic section of teas was refreshing. I recommend checking them out!

I thought Bon Fresco was the top sandwich in Columbia, and it still is great - but I think that RegionAle is now the best! They have taken basic sandwiches and added a twist, and every sandwich I have tried there has been amazing - from the pork tenderloin to the steak to the pulled pork. Even the grilled cheese is exceptional!
