Love having lunch at M.R. Ducks each time we go to Ocean City. The crab balls are phenomenal and the grapefruit crush highly recommended. All the servers are extremely friendly and the wait for the food is short. Definitely recommend to everyone!

This restaurant has an amazing location as you can see from the pics..right on the water..beautiful..the food was okay..I can say the tuna bites were very good, tasty and tender. We all got different things..but it was odd how when asked for sugar to put into my friends tea..they were out of all sugar, had to ask for napkins and silverware, the rockfish tacos had little rockfish in them, the fish and chips, the fish was a prefrozen variety. Think this place is good for view, drinks and appetizers. Would go again with just that in mind.

We went here for lunch on a Sunday. Pros: The cocktails were good and reasonably priced. Nice view and atmosphere. Cons:The hostess was rude and ignored to offer us a table under the shade. The waitress did not inform that there are extra charge for the sides. The menu was limited and some the appetizer listed there were not served. We were also told that the chef is UNFRIENDLY and refuses to replace the Tuna in Nachos with a different meat!

Initially we were there for the Monday 5:30 Assateague Adventure Cruise, which was great family fun for all ages. When we returned we figured we'd give the M. R. Ducks Bar & Grill a shot and we were not disappointed. Great bar & grill food, great service, tasty drinks, incredible setting and very reasonably priced. I can't believe in all the years we've been coming to OCMD & Bethany Beach this was our first visit here, it won't be our last. We will be returning on our next trip to OCMD next year!

I'm sorry but I read all of these 1 star reviews and gotta say they sound like a bunch of high maintenance pansies. I had The Pounder (a whole pound of crab meat) which was delicious. Sure it was $36 at the current market price but hey you get what you pay for. My girlfriend had the blackened mahi mahi salad and loved it and we shared the coconut shrimp which I should've ordered some more to go. Saw a review that said the place isn't family friendly which is BS because we had a little girl sitting next to us having a great time along with every table next to them with families. I did HAVE to try the chug-a-duck, but tried to do it discretely since children were around. Long story short, TRY THIS PLACE!!! Service was great and there was an older woman helping the staff as well who made sure everything was ok. Dont listen to these 1 star reviews because they obviously have expectations that are out of this world and are the usual complaining type anywhere you go.

Gorgeous place to sit with friends and enjoy good food and great drinks. Only place I've been where I can drink my alcohol from a plastic duck while enjoying some great live music in the background. The staff were great to talk to, the atmosphere was very enjoyable, and the people were great. Our group were struggling to find a place that could accommodate us and that we were happy with. This place ticked all the boxes perfectly.

Really great atmosphere. You can either eat out on the dock on normal restaurant tables or you cns go to the bar on an extending pier which is awesome. The food was good, I personally had Mahi Mahi tacos that they blackened for me by request even though it wasn't in the menu. Local beer selections were good but not extensive. I would definitely go back. My whole party enjoyed their meal.

Probably the best fish and chips I have ever had and the live music really sets the party mood at this place. Always a great crowd here and the views are great. We usually make a stop here when visiting OCMD as it has such great energy and the kids love the atmosphere too. Outdoor seating is excellent and everyone enjoys the food, drinks and entertainment. Definitely worth a stop if you are in town.

Perfect place to watch a sunset on the marina. Had a great vibe and felt more like a place the locals would hang out in. We may have been the only tourists. Menu is limited but the apps were all delicious. Ten different types of wings (we had the asian chilli), crab balls and our favorite, the tuna tacos. Our only problem was that every entree we ordered, burgers and fish sandwiches, were overcooked. But we would certainly go back and try again. The view, the cocktails and the good service made it well worth the price

Waited for over an hour found an open table for the front desk let them know. It was a six seater. No one was waiting for a table behind us no one in front. Asked if we could seat at that table. Front desk girl said sorry the wait staff doesn’t want us to seat 4 at a six bc they will not make as much. We said we are just eating and leaving. She said sorry. I told her we just spent over $100 in the store alone waiting. She wouldn’t seat us. I called the manager who said it was unacceptable for them and against policy . Thank you Matt for your true apology. We walked right over to Anglers and got a seat.

Bands/music to loud to the point of even unable to communicate with staff properly let alone others in our group. Extremely crowded at certain times which made for slow service. Update: Aug 19th Had to pleasure to listen to 8 Track Mind. Music not as loud this time. Server Reagan was spot on and quick. 10 of us had a great time. Also met Ed who was absolutely terrific!!!

Food was great, the bartenders are amazing. Your waitress staff is horrible!!! They told us to sit down they would be right over with menus, after waiting over 15 minutes we flagged a girl down she said she will be back never came. We waited 30 mins just trying to get service. We went and sat at the bar and received great service immediately. Your wait staff is too busy standing around and chatting. Once at the bar I've witnessed them treat several people the same exact way we were treated. Keep in mind its not even busy today. You can thank your bartenders for saving this review!

The views are amazing and if you eat dinner there, you will even be able to watch the sunset. Being on the water and close to the inlet, you'll be able to see a ton of boats. menu is pretty much fried barfood. Staff is very busy and knowledgeable of the menu and the environment is your typical Friday night deck party. Not exactly a place for a family setting dinner. if you are looking for a adults night out with some entertainment places sufficient but the menu is still poor and prices are high because it’s touristy

Blackened Mahi Mahi appetizer with the cucumber wasabi was BOMB but portion size was very small. Drinks were delicious especially for happy hour, we got the Duck Punch and the Duck Call. Vibes were on point even for cloudy day. Will be back for dinner sometime and a Chug & Duck!

M.R. Ducks is a unique experience. Except for the gift shop and the restrooms, it's completely outside. The bar and some of the tables are underneath overhangs, but the rest of the tables are open to the sky. So you're experience is going to depend a lot on the weather, if you are sensitive to that. There are a lot of die-hard ducks fans who don't seem to care what the weather is doing, they just want to be there. Which makes the place really fun! When you get there you're greeted by a hostess, but also there is a crush making bar right as you come up to the entrance. This can be very convenient because the bar itself gets very crowded and it could be hard to get close enough to order a drink. If you like to just hang out at the bar, you may have to stand for quite a while while you maneuver for an open seat. There are a couple of small tables under the overhang next to the bar, but unless you're sitting at the bar or can get one of these small tables or you're standing around the bar, you're going to be out under the sky. The bar is built out on a dock over the water and then there is a pier that extends further out into the water for people to pull their boats up and board or deboard. if you want to leave your boat there while you eat, it's first come first serve. The food is quite excellent. Their specialty is the pounder, which is a full pound of lump crab meat. The price changes based on market price, but yesterday we were there and it cost us $36. Delicious. I like the burgers a lot but they have wraps, tacos, seafood of various sorts, etc., But you can look that up on their website. For drinks you're going to want to have a crush or frozen drink most likely and they are delicious there. There are no draft beers only bottles and cans. As far as entertainment goes, this place is on our short list. We almost always love the bands we hear there. The bandstand is set up between the bar and the bathrooms so if you go to use the bathroom you'll be walking within two feet of the band, which is kind of fun. Another thing that's fun to watch is when it starts to rain, they have a system for getting the band equipment, which is open to the sky, covered very quickly. As soon as the rain stops they are just as quick to get the tarps off and get the band back and playing again. Like I said, fun to watch. Whether you are brand new to Ocean City or a regular or even a resident, I think you will love the ducks. Other than their dependency on good weather, there is really no downside to this place.

If its a scorching hot, sunny day I wouldn't recommend to go here. There's only outside seating. The pineapple juice is pretty watery. I was wondering why there aren't refills for juices? The sandwiches are pretty dry.

HORRIBLY understaffed during the off-season. Go ANYWHERE else in OC. Feel bad for the staff taking the brunt of angry customers when it's actually management's fault. Almost everyone in the restaurant was treating staff very rudely because of the lack of staff causing issues.

MR Ducks was really cool and my 1st dockside experience in OCMD. Had my wife and 2 little kids with me. The hostess was very accomodating despite having limited open tables outside. It was cool to see the boats coming into port around 6-7 PM. The bar is well-situated right off the water. Good atmoshere for sure. The food was so-so (chicken sand with "Heniz" honey mustard). Drinks hit the spot (happy hr specials too)!

Stopped by for lunch after getting off the Assateague Adventure Boat Tour. Seating is right on the harbor with nice views of the drawbridge (our 3 year old was captivated). Had the Duo Dogs, which if you're looking for a reliable hot dog this will get you there. Nothing to write home about, but the condiment tower that they bring out to you is a nice touch. Good service, good food, good view. Can't complain. Nicely done!!!

Cold outside Bar. Just got an ignorant, rude response from someone who claimed to be the owner. This dude obviously has NO CLUE how to run a hospitality business. We were dressed property azzwipe, the better idea is to not patronize a 3rd class makeshift excuse for a dock bar. Can't recommend this clowns establishment to ANYONE! Maybe I should buy you out and bring some CLASS to the joint!

The food was good, our waitress was great, once we were seated. The hostess needs to look at her empty tables, not what color your skin is. We were made to wait over 30 minutes while we watched other people being seated ahead of us. I complained twice to the hostess who replied, "you didn't want to sit in the sun". We were never offered to sit under the canopy where there were empty tables, only along the rail facing the bay. We won't be back, there are plenty of other places to get a sandwich in OC

Happy hour specials were pretty good, $6 for a 1/2 pound of steamed shrimp or clams but honestly they were a bit overcooked and seemed like the old bay was just sprinkled on the shrimp after they were cooked. Chugging a duck was a fun novelty for $5 during happy hour but it seems like most people have difficulty drinking from the duck without spilling. The staff was friendly and our first waitress was great but we moved to another section when friends arrived and the service wasn't as good. In a half empty section we got ignored for long stretches and it took forever to get our check. But all in all not a bad place to grab a drink and a bit of food, there were great views of the bayside which made for a nice sunset. Price wise I would recommend hitting their happy hour before 6pm because things do get a bit overpriced afterwards.
