Was upset about delivery price but persuaded my boyfriend to drive to get some chicken tiki masala. Let me tell you it is the best around, that is a promise. Also the place is gorgeous and well kept, the owner is very friendly. food is made in a quick timely manner and well made and delicious. Lovely assortment of spices and savory seasoned sauces. I get food from here whenever I can. Very cozy and unique, Great place to take someone on a date ;) First place I choose to go around this area every time.

I drove past this resturant multiple times but kept saying that I need to stop in and try it out. Well I went tonight with a friend and it so worth it! Everything was delicious! From appetizers, main meal to a wonderful cup of chai at the end of the meal! The service very attentive but would not bother us but kept our water glasses full. I would recommend it for couples, friends and families. They say they have a buffet at lunch so I will be coming back to give it a try! Come and check this place out!

Short answer: go now! Longer answer, read on. The owner is super friendly. The service is exceptional. We started with humus and naan along with the kabob platter, out of this world! The lamb kofta and chicken tikka were especially good as was the hummus. My friends ordered more traditional items, chicken tikka masala and chicken saag - both were excellent! I went with lamb hara korma in the strength of my friends recommendation of the place and I was not disappointed. The heat was just right and the flavors were incredible! I love Indian food and am always looking for good places to get it (I have also learned to cook a few dishes) and this place is far and away the best Indian cuisine I have had in years! I can't say enough about them! Go now! Don't wait!

What a hidden gem! Masala Twist is amazing hands down!! I happened upon it one night looking for Indian food near White Marsh and this came up on Google so taking a chance I went to dinner. It was such a good meal. The selection is great, tastes are authentic, and the owner is so personable. It is a little tucked off to the side on route 40 but look out for it next time you pass by and stop in. It is incredible Indian food!

The restaurant interior was intimate--the lights were soft and low, and there were only eight or nine tables in the place. The walls were tastefully decorated and it was just surprisingly nice. Even though we were only picking up carryout, the server offered us water and brought out the Lassi my friend ordered to drink while we waited. The food was the best part, though--I wish we lived closer, because it was delicious. So happy my friend chanced upon this place!

Bad owner and worst experience ever.. I dont recommend anyone to go there. First, i asked owner to give water without ice because i was feeling cold that day but he said he dont have water without ice. He didnt even say sorry and he was sooo rude. Food: we ordered chicken biryani but he gave us a fried rice. I know that test of biryani... that was a waste. I will never go there again!

This place is fairly new and oddly sandwiched between a motel and a diner on each side. We went for their weekend buffet and were not disappointed. The food was great and the service was very friendly and accommodating. When we went, the buffet was a good mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare. They had basmati rice, daal makhani, paneer kadai, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, etc. Naan is also given to each table. I will definitely be returning!

You know how you sometimes find a restaurant that is so good, you don't want to tell anyone about it for fear that they'll get too busy? That's sort of how I feel about Masala Twist. But I also want to see them succeed so I'm breaking down to write a review.. The food is amazing, and the service is equally great. We visit the buffet, which is super inexpensive, with a variety of dishes all of which we have loved. They always seem to have chicken tikka masala at the buffet and it is one of my favorites but seriously every dish we have tried (and we try everything) is top notch. Everything tastes freshly made, warm and delicious, fresh naan is brought to the table. It's so, so good... I can't say enough great things about this place. The host is extremely charming and always makes us feel welcome, he is as wonderful as the food. Give them a try, you won't be sorry! Now I regret writing this review at this hour when they're closed. Need...more..soon!

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here.it is charming and welcoming. The menu is easy to read, the owner answered questions about the food, and best of all, the food was amazing! It had the perfect balance of spicy and heat. The lamb tandoori was so tender and flavorful, and the chicken masala was to die for. I will definitely return.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. My wife and I dine in or order out from Masala Twist frequently. The lunch buffet is marvelous, worth every penny, and the staff are a delight. My only regret is not stopping in sooner. We drove by this place so many times in the past, having no idea how delicious and unique of a restaurant this is. They use a unique blend of spices to make their dishes stand out. If you like Indian food, or are curious to try it, stop in and enjoy.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Indian food on this side of town. I have been to the lunch buffet several times. It's quite good. It is priced at about $12, and is all you care to eat. The naan bread was fresh and served hot to your table. It has a rotating daily menu, but they always had a couple of the more common dishes (tandoori, masala, etc.). The outside just looks like a bar, but the inside is nicely decorated with Indian artwork, along with linen tablecloths and napkins. It is a welcome addition to the East County area.

New Indian food place with excellent food! Their hummus was the best I have ever had! The owner was very nice and which makes it even more appealing! He suggested that we come on a weekend. There will be an Indian buffet where you can try different foods. They even deliver within a 5 mile radius! Which is great for me, I work very close!

We had dinner on Sunday. First visit at this restaurant. Buttered Chicken is our favorite Indian dish and we were not disappointed. We are accustomed to NY Indian cuisine and must say we will be regular customers. The facility was clean alone with the restroom. If these are not clean, then that tells me a lot about the kitchen and it’s cleanness for food.

Came here tonight with my husband and daughter. My daughter and I are vegan and the menu was so nice there was a leaf next to the vegan options so you don't have to wonder. I had chana masala and my husband had the lamb korma with naan. We bought thought the food was excellent. Above that the service was outstanding. The owner is very personable and kind. We went last night. We were five and there were two groups of two were already sitting. Guy told us that he will add a chair in four people table which we said it’s not good enough space. They had about 30 chairs and maybe 10 tables empty so we told the guy to put two tables together and he said that 15 people group is coming. Instead of arguing with him we just left. It was just a very lazy guy. I wish I could give zero.

The food had no flavor and arrived within five minutes like a microwave food. It’s ridiculous the owner replies he has chefs with 16 years of experience in five stars hotels. Seeing quite a lot leftover on my plate the manager asked if I need boxes to take home which I denied. Being a owner you need to have the capacity to take positive or negative feedback rather than boasting more about fake things. I hope you will take this as a positive compliment and try to improve in the future. I visit many restaurants and my feedbacks are always honest for every single one. Service was okay but food was a disaster.

Average selection of items on the buffet. Authentic and delicious taste until I bit into a piece of gravel or some foreign object in the food. The staff was not concerned. This was my first and last time at Masala Twist. Tip: When the restaurant is totally empty (like today), skip the buffet.

Just had the lunch buffet with my fiancée. Everything was astounding. The host was accomodating as ever. In particular, the vegetable korma was intricately spiced and so obviously fresh, and the cheese dumplings had a delicate texture and subtle sweetness. My all time favorite is the lamb chop masala :D

Food was delicious! I tried the veg hot and sour soup, hakka noodles, and Gobi Manchurian. Each dish we excellent and spicy (they will make it mild if you ask). It tasted authentic, not overly creamy or heavy. Would frequent this restaurant if I lived in the area. Service was also great. The host was friendly and the staff was nice throughout my meal. The food came out quick and was served hot. I highly recommend Masala Twist.

I went to eat after seeing google ratings of 4.7 but I really think these ratings and reviews are fake. After ordering lamb saag, I went to restroom for literally five mins or so and my friend texts me from outside, “Hurry up, food arrived” Being a professional chef myself for the fine dining restaurants in the UK for many years, I felt guilty that we -me or my team never provided such fast service not even salad in the restaurants NO! When I reached the table I was shocked how some people run food business. I assured my partner that the chef must be off today and who cooked was a kitchen porter. She rejected majority of food. Having said that , the manager had said prior to the order that the restaurant was new and it was dead quiet that night.We hardly enjoyed anything about food but I was even more sad for the injustice to my favorite dish.

Been living here for a year now and never realized we had such a great Indian place so close. We dined in today(we usually get Indian as take out) and I'm glad we did. Nice atmosphere, pleasant host/waiter. We ordered vegetable samosas and the aloo tikki with chola. Both were delicious, it was the first time we had the latter dish and were impressed by the flavor combinations. She ordered the shrimp pad Thai, I had the chicken vindaloo. Her pad Thai we described as 'clean' as it wasn't as greasy as normal Chinese kitchens seem to make it. Very very good. The vindaloo chicken was very tender and flavorful, and the naan bread slightly crisped. We tried the rice pudding and the gulab jamun (mini donettes) which were both good, but I preferred the spices of the pudding. We were asked to come back to try their lunch buffet, which we most certainly will.

this has become a new favorite as of late. i have only been to dine in once, but the experience was a solid 10/10. usually we (my wife and i) do carry-out and we do that at least once a week.... its that good! our favorite is butter chicken at spice level 7, with hummus and garlic naan. we have tried other dishes, the chicken tikimasala is good, but we werent impressed with the indo-chinese fusion dishes that weve tried. the prices here are VERY reasonable, and the gentleman working the front of the house is very friendly and attentive. whether its dine-in or carry-out, this place knows service and importance of quality. if you like indian food, you will love this place. if youve never tried indian, i recommend you take the plunge at this place..... you wont be disappointed.

We found this new restaurant by chance today and loved it! The lunch buffet was delicious with a nice variety of food. Our favorites were the palak paneer, tandoori chicken and the hummus and naan bread. The homemade Mango Lassis were wonderful, too! Service was quick and friendly. Tried out this restaurant for the first time via the lunch buffet - a fantastic deal for the price paid. There was plenty of variety (meat and non-meat options), and the food was warm and delicious. Service was quick and courteous. I plan on going again sometime to try out the dinner menu. One thing to note - not the biggest deal in the world - the tables are huge! I wish they were a bit smaller so I could talk to my partner without feeling like I have to speak more loudly.

Definitely a must try if you're in the area and looking for something different. The owner works as the host and waiter and is a genuine great guy. Despite the modest exterior the inside is surprisingly elegant. The restaurant is B.Y.O.B, which is great and will save you some money if you like to drink. I've been there 4 times and have had a great experience each time. Everything I've ordered was delicious and served generously with modest prices.

I have never had Indian cuisine before but my wife loves it. I found this place and went with the intentions of watching my wife enjoy the food and just having a water myself. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is very helpful. After talking to our waiter he explained some flavor profiles and suggested I try lamb korma. I can't tolerate spicy food. I cleared my plate the food was so delicious. The spices blended well and the lamb was extremely tender. This will definitely be a regular place for us. I highly reccomend this place.

Ordered a bunch of food, everything from tandoori vegetables, roganjosh lamb, chicken masala and of course lots of naan bread. Everything was delicious, and service was excellent. I was surprised that they did not have eggplant in their vegetable dishes but they were still great. Staff were attentive and food was cooked perfectly. The dishes came out properly giving us time to finish our appetizers and chat before the mains were served. Plenty of parking nice atmosphere and great food, this may be my new go-to for Indian food in the area

Food was exquisite. Service was phenomenal. The fresh Naan bread is hot and so good when brought to your table. The Garlic Chicken from the buffet is my favorite choice. They offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. I will be back soon!

Great authentic Indian food. Wonderful decor and taste food. The server was very handy with describing the food choice to people who have never ate Indian before. The prices were reasonable and portions we're big.

Wow..Wife and i stopped in on a Sunday. First impression, its cute. The waiter/maitre d was super nice, friendly and helpful. We had the buffet, I am a pretty picky eater and EVERYTHING was really genuinely good. Home cooked taste, not expenise. We will absolutely be back soon.

I was recently in the area for business. My co-workers and I had lunch on Wednesday and enjoyed it so much that we went back on Thursday. The food was amazing and the service was stellar. I will absolutely be back if I find myself in the area again!

We ate at Marsala Twist this evening and the food was incredible! Our waiter was very polite and it made for a nice dining experience. We look forward to returning soon. We ate tiki chicken Marsala, chicken curry, garlic naan, the cheese in spinach sauce, rice pudding, and sticky donuts. We ordered our entrees on the medium spice level, and it was so tasty!
