You know that we do not usually bother to place tatings when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Mexican restaurant.
The food is ok. I only ate the tacos. But the service can be much better. The waiter really sucked. They are lucky the food is better than the service I doubt I'll be back.
GREAT Food and Service especially for the price point! My first time there and would definitely recommend it!
It wasn't bad. After a long morning of working with my wife, we were told this was a good spot for Mexican food. It was average. They serve an almost identical menu as Mi Puebla, but not as good. I won't be going back, but it was well worth a try.
Met an old friend for lunch. Got there early 11:30 because it does get crowded. Even in the middle of the week. Because the food is good, decently priced, and the service is great. I got the carnitas burrito which was huge and delicious. I had to take half of it home. Now I have lunch for tomorrow. I'll come back with my wife because she would love it.
Great food, neighborhood fav. and accessible to airport travelers. Plenty of food, staff is friendly and goes out if way to please. Been going for years.
Clean restaurant... Great server's with that latina smile... Good food.... Them authentic tacos made my day..... Great prices.... Customer service on point... Service a little slow but it is worth the wait...
Good food and big plates. Service was slow.
Good food, good portion size, the pricing is average. It's close to the airport do it can get crazy
Fake mexican food. I do not recommend.
Excelent food y great service
It was very good we will go back again
I ordered the combo with 2 hard tacos, one ground beef and one shredded beef. The ground beef had absolutely no flavor. The shredded beef was flavorful but very salty. Not sure what happened but the food and service has gone down.
The food here is terrific. Their Mexican table concept is wonderful. You can see many Mexican decorations , meat and veggies are coming from. The food is very affordable considering what other places around the area .
Great Mexican food. Get there early for lunch as after 12 there could be a wait.
Service was ungodly slow. Its sat lunch time. The place isnt busy, but I only saw my waiter once when he dropped drinks off. Never saw him again. I waited 30 min to order another drink and desert. I changed my mind and ordered my bill instead. Food wasn't bad, but it wasnt great. I dont think I will return.
One of the best Mexican restaurants in Baltimore. Never had a bad meal. The salsa is awesome and should be bottled and sold. Wife wasn't happy with the rice this time though.
Good service , good margaritas, good food! My first experience and it was very good.
Seems authentic. Im not from Mexico, so what do I know?
Fun and colorful atmosphere. Great food! My family goes there often!
Delicious and great service
Food was gross and they didn't care to really wait on us. We were a group of about 6 that made reservations and when we got there they said we never did. Friend of mine had to get her food remade because it was raw (scallops and shrimp). It came back slightly better but very runny with the sauce.
The prices we great and the food was ok. Not the same thing I get home in California but better than most on the east coast. But Don Julio was $8 a shot lol what!?!? Great deal
My go to place for Mexican food. The place is always packed and the food is exceptional with great prices. The atmosphere is casual and great for anything from a simple date to a family outing. Staff is very friendly. Be warned though that parking is limited. You may have to find a spot around the side!
Most of the food was good, staff was nice, but the beef wasn't very flavorful.
Service was great. Food was great. Will patronize this establishment frequently.
Excellent place and the service is always great
Great food and great service. Lunch specials are inexpensive.
Food was great but service was not
Great Service and tasty food. Delicious margaritas too!
Great Mexican food. We will be back.
Went with a large group and had an awesome set up it was really good
Food is pretty good, as is the service. I love the fact that there are many vegetarian options, including the standalone chili relleno that is fabulous.
Big servings, good service. The booths are a bit tight/cramped though.
The food is really good and plentiful. Service was just good. Twice had to ask to move because we were sat next to noisey and obnoxious customers
Delicious! We loved visiting this place, the service was very good and the portions were bigger than average in my opinion. I appreciate that the waiter doesn't put the straw in your drink (at least not on the iced tea and sodas), so you can choose to not use them, or use your own reusable one. They have Mexican music playing and a nice atmosphere!
I found this little gem by searching on my phone. It was my first time in town and didn't know any restaurants. It's warm and friendly upon entering and I was acknowledged right a way. I had a margarita which was really good and a burrito. The burrito was huge, stuffed with ribeye steak and all of the extras inside and smothered on the outside. I would definitely recommend this place for a wonderful laid back experience and great wood!
The portions were not up to par to be a mexican restuarant, nor was the seasoning of the food. The lack of authenticity was obvious.
Passing through Baltimore and stopped to eat here. They were very busy and the waiting area was crowded. However once we were seated our server was attentive and the food was quickly served. Chips and salsa were good quality. Entrees were all very big. None of us finished our plate. I got the fish tacos and was very satisfied. It was served with a hot sauce that was HOT! I enjoyed it but tip to those who don’t like hot sauce...use it sparingly! Would recommend to anyone who has a layover in Baltimore or is spending an evening by the airport.
Very clean and great food.
The food was great and the prices reasonable. I was there to celebrate a birthday either a party of 30+ people. They excellently handled our group and all of the individual orders. Food was tasty and served promptly. I’m not a fan of Mexican food but I would definitely recommend this place.
Poor service, food not that great
Food was great. Service was quick and courteous.
Food is always good. Ordered a large to go order and none of the orders were labeled. Everything was there, just has to guess whose was whose .
Attentive servers and delicious food!
Great Mexican food, service and prices!
Service was good, food not bad but not great either
The service is very professional and the food is delicious! What stands out to me the most is how a Buisness handles a mistake. Los Portales took care of me and ensured I was happy!
Tons of authentic huge plates & gigantic margaritas! Seafood & meat. Fish tacos are amazing
Decent food and atmosphere. Good prices for kids meals.
Great food and atmosphere. Fresh warm tortillas and good salsa delivered right away. The queso dip is the best I have ever had
Have been to both resturants but we prefer the Ritchie hwy location. Better service, food and drinks.
This restaurants salsa is good. The only other thing that is good about it is the service and the theming. The food is so greasy that it just falls apart. Tacos, quesadillas, and everything else possible. Not recommended
Good good. My burrito was massive and delicious.
I am from the southwest and grew up eating all manner of Mexican food and this was the actual worst Mexican food I've ever had - authentic or tex-mex. The pulled beef enchilada was both dry and salty, the tamale tasted like paste with the same consistency, the Chile relleno was soggy, even the margaritas were awful. Additionally, they appear to have good prices, $2.45 for an enchilada, but charge for every topping, $1.25 for lettuce, another $1.25 for tomatoes, etc. Do yourself a favor and find a taco truck, your chances at good food are infinitely better.
Good service, good food
Awesome fajitas with big food portions. And not all that crazy expensive for the amount of food u get. Definitely going again
A typical american mexican food place. Staff was friendly and food was fantastic. Would def come back! Got the chimichangas. Friend got the cali burrito and that was amazing and HUGE! Everything was great and has a kids menu also.
Had the pork tacos. The pork was dry and not very flavorful. Everything else, the warm chips, the salsa, the rice and beans are terrific. My husband had the fish tacos and they were quite tasty.
Chorizo is amazing! The was my first time and I will absolutely be back!
My lunch shrimp fajitas were good though they could have given me 3 fajitas instead of just 2.
Great food. Fast service. Reasonably priced.
Every time I come here, I leave happy! The chips and salsa are the best around. The best fajitas around! Love the customer service. Great restaurant all around!
One cashier acted like it was the end of there life but over all it was good and yummy
Food Good and service was good also and I will be going again and again.
Hard to find better Mexican food in the area. Worth a stop.
The food was plentiful but mediocre. The margaritas were from mix, not fresh juice. But the worst was the air quality. Clouds of cooking smoke filled the room with choking fumes. Our clothes stank afterwards so badly that we showered when we got home.
Have been going there for a while, moderately when wanting Mexican food. Is is a good sized restuarant inside with plenty of table.s the decor and interior design theme has painted walls and fake building structures to make you feel like you are outside in a Mexican village. Very cool. their drinks are strong and they have a variety of unique margaritas along with the traditional. Theres chips and salsa served before meals is delicious. This place is like the Mexican food places on Ritchie Hwy mi pueblos and the one in front of Marley mall but it has a slight menu change and it is bigger. Friendly staff and clean environment.
Great costumer service and really good food, seasoning is just perfect and the portion of food is a lot ! Good prices !
Authentic Mexican food with fantastic service. We ate here when they first opened years ago. Love to come back each time we head over to Maryland. Well done!
Very good frozen margaritas. Haven’t had a ton of different things from the menu but the soft chicken tacos and the fajitas are great.
Food was good and well priced with great service
You'll find all the popular Mexican fare and some specialties on the menu here plus some specialties. Staff has always been friendly and efficient. It has a bar. Typical Mexican ambiance. Tables and booths. Casual. Reasonably priced. Recommended.
The food was bland. Customer service was good though.
This is an awesome authentic Latin food experience. The ambiance is cool
Reasonably priced and good food.
Excellent food . Excellent Service.
I really like Los Portales, they have great TexMex food. The Enchiladas Verde are excellent, I get them every time. You can't wrong with their Enchiladas Mexicanas either, traditional and yummy. They really put their heart into the food, they aren't trying to be fancy, trendy, or fusion, they are just good, TexMex comfort food. Their flan is perfect, I love flan and can tell when it's right. We don't live in the area but drive over when we have to go to BED.
Arroyo de Marisco is of the hook! I'm told the Cadillac Margarita is extremely tasty. Fresh guacamole very good
We orderd a lot of stuff , it was my sons bday they sang to him, with some dessert by the way the dessert was a churro cup with fried icecream wip cream ans a cherry for the top. I really recomend it, the place was very clean.
Amazing! Always above average quality, good prices, and friendly staff. Been coming here for years!
Cheap, good food, fast service
Excellent food and very good service. Even being as busy as it was! Well done
Never disappoints. I recommend the chorri-pollo, and Texas margarita.
Great service and delicious food. The fajitas were great. The Xango dessert was amazing!
Amazing food and excellent service.
Owned by the same family who owns Plaza Garabaldi. The menu is virtually identical, so the same high standards apply. Outstanding food, outstanding service! Try the Tacos al Pastor with the tomatillo sauce that will wake your tastebuds! I highly recommend this restaurant
Had to wait 15 minutes to be greeted at the bar.
The food here is awesome
I used to go here all the time and loved the food. This past weekend however shocked me. I ordered the Tortilla soup and got a cup of broth with tortilla strips, sour cream and 2 small chucks of fresh avocado. The broth was really greasy. Next came the Grande Nachos which looked like a deconstructed ground beef taco. I should have asked them to take it back as well. Nachos no peppers, hardly any cheese, nothing but a half of slice of tomato some shredded lettuce and taco meat sour cream was not fresh and Guacamole. Taco Bell does better than this!
The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. The staff was very attentive. The prices are slightly higher than other Mexican restaurants in the area. The food was sort of bland and had no taste, even the chips were stale. I had 3 different types of meat on a taco, and 2 burritos (ground beef, beef tips and chicken) and they all tasted the same. The beef tips were squishy. All in all, I don't think we'll be back.
This food is top notch, the queso is worth it, order it! The enchiladas combo is my favorite and those margaritas are good and strong.
Best Margaritas in Anne Arundel county hands down
Excellent food, friendly service.
Very good super burrito
My favorite Mexican restaurant period! If I am in Maryland I'll drive hours to get to this place. Very comfortable atmosphere. Service is always above and beyond what you expect. Drinks are made to perfection and also poured heavy on the liquor. You definitely get your money's worth that's for sure. Food is very authentic and always flavorful. Huge variety to choose from. I've never ordered anything that hasn't came out amazing.
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Authentic and we'll priced. The burrito is bigger than you think, so come hungry.
Great parking. Lots of seating. Never had a problem with the service.
LOVE this place!!! We go here every time we're in the mood for Mexican food because the service is excellent, the food is great and the prices are fair. We always get a large queso to go along with the chips too. Yummy!!
This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant around. Although I wouldnt call it authentic..its more of a traditional Mexican cuisine that Americans are commonly used to. But oh my god is it ever tasty!! The meats are of good quality...even the beef! Typically most Mexican resturants beef are gritty and bland...chicken bland and chewy...but not here! Its literally the ONLY Mexican restaurant I go to now. And oh my dear god the queso Blanco cheese dip is out of this world...and the salsa....makes my mouth water just thinking of it. The rice and beans are wonderful. The fajitas come out sizzling hot and fresh. Wonderful service. Great people. Absolutely love it!
I drive by this place all the time and finally decided to stop in for an evening meal. I was greeted at the front desk with a smile and quickly got seated in a quiet part of the restaurant. That's where my experience started going down hill. The waiter took way too long to get our drink orders and was very inattentive throughout my visit. Almost as if he'd disappeared for periods of 10 minutes at a time. At one point I got up to refill my own drink and grab some extra napkins. The food was about what I expected from a busy Mexican restaurant. It was sub-par. I've had many friends tell me they enjoy eating here so maybe I'll give them another shot in the future, but for now, the food and table service left a bad taste in my mouth.
Food was okay, rice was salty and bland. Service was super slow with plenty of servers and not many customers. I would expect better with that much wait staff standing around. Definitely not going to go back.
This was one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants around here. Although the margaritas are weaker. I could not even taste the tequila and tasted watery. Also the dish with scallops use to have the big sea scallops in it now has the little bay scallops. The food was still good but not what it used to be. I will try somewhere else for Mexican food next time.
Great atmosphere good food.
Good food. Good service. Close to the airport. I like going on Taco Tuesdays for happy hour.
This place isn’t a “Mexican” restaurant it’s a texmex restaurant. The food quality was bad with no flavor on their food. The food presentation was excellent, same with the restaurant interior and exterior but besides that, that’s all this place has it’s going for. If you really want some actual Mexican food I would recommend you go somewhere besides here.
It has a very friendly staff and a nice environment. It's the best Mexican restaurant we've found in the Baltimore area.
Best Mexican food I've had in the United States.
Best Mexican food and atmosphere. Great fun.
It was extremely crowded but I was able to be seated quickly. The food was excellent and I would highly recommend anyone who wanted Mexican that is staying near the airport to make the drive over.
Great traditional Mexican fare! It has become one of our local favorites. We have tried just about everything on the menu and have no complaints, fajitas are our go to favorite though. Portions are generous. They are one of very few places that have an authentic chicken tortilla soup (with a slice of fresh avocado) which isn't spicy, you can add the heat if you want with a selection of different hot sauces that they offer. They offer a half price Tuesday taco special, for just a $1.35 .... and if a great margarita is what you're looking for this is your place, they have the best Cadillac Magarita(comes in regular and jumbo)!
As always the food was delicious! My go to item is their soft chicken tacos.
Although the food was ok, it certainly wasn't anything revolutionary. The atmosphere was festive enough, but some of the wait staff were less than enthusiastic about looking up from their phones long enough to be helpful. Some never even smiled. There were others that were nice enough, but they should definitely work on service improvement.
Great food and good service. Ask for a michelada!
My 3 favorite foods at mexican restaurants are beef enchiladas, steak tacos, and blanco cheese dip. This place does them all perfectly, I eat here every time I'm near BWI!
Always great.
I love this place! There chips and salsa are excellent and there lunch specials are awsome. If you want a taste of excellent Mexican food, come to this place.
The food is always delicious! Comes out hot and fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our office has luncheons their all the time.
Excellent prices and service is supurb. Very nice
Quick. Cheep. Tasty.
It's okay, one of the best I have found in Maryland and the portions are the biggest. We've tried every Mexican restaurant with an hour and a half of Odenton and this one is probably the best for the money and gas.
This restaurant is always on my "places to eat at" list when I'm visiting the area. Plentiful portions and delicious salsa and chips - friendly service too. They make you feel like you're family!
Love this place and it is always busy. Best mole sauce in Maryland - and great prices!
Great food and service. Best Mexican food in our local area.
My wife and I eat here all the time. It is great. Service is great. Drinks are great. Prices are great.
I ordered the tacos and the tasted like cardboard, and two days later I was having stomach cramps.
Good food and service. Great margherita!
Food was good but the waiter was not very attentive and also did not get our order right. We wanted two bean and beef chimichangas. When we cut them open they were chicken. We ate them anyway as the service was slow and they were good but I'd rather had what we originally ordered.
Staff is always friendly and food is always great.
