You know that we do not usually bother to write opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is included in the category of French restaurant.
Portions were large and food was pretty good. We had the pork chop with bacon corn pudding and short ribs with mashed potatoes. Both were delicious. My husband had the oysters and said they were just ok. Drinks were good but expensive. Someone near us got the crab cake and it looked really big.
9 outa 10. We started with the French cab first in the list. It was excellent. We lived in Germany for three years and rarely found a good French cab, so that's saying a lot! We split the pasta bolognese for the kids. The waitress insisted …
Outstanding dinner with close friends. Soothing atmosphere, great service and delicious food! Birthday dessert was a fabulous plus...totally broke my diet and it was worth every bite! Delish!
Very nice spot. Food was very good. Service was very good.
Great but a small place, make a reservation.
Worst experience ever food terrible owners even worse.
fantastic food, ambience. and service
Excellent French style food. Menu is quite extensive.
We attended a few weeks back for our anniversary (I was working a French theme) and this local, hometown delight was the perfect fit. The food was perfectly prepared and tasted delicious. While I was in the restaurant, I forgot that I was in Frederick, MD - the atmosphere was warm, cozy and inviting. What a charming and quaint little place. We'll be back!
My Husband and I went for our anniversary dinner this past weekend at Le Parc Bistro and it was wonderful. I was so surprised that I could have lived in this city for so long and have never eaten here. The service was fast, the servers very polite, and the food was AMAZING! My husband is french and he too was taken back by how well this place was. We will for sure be going back.
Friendly professional staff. Awesome food
Amazing ambiance with great tasting food! Excellent for a date night!
Outstanding! 2nd visit. Not disappointed! Live music to boot.
Always good food. Away from the main Frederick eating places but close to Baker park.
Was beautifully decorated, nice service, the food was only ok. Not bad but I have had better.
Amazing Mother's Day!
Great service, wonderful atmosphere and hearty meals!
Fabulous brunch. Lovely experience.
Beautiful dining room. Friendly service. Delicious food. Nice piano music. We'll be back.
It was quite the best experience.
Awesome food, and service
This is really good place to eat. Wednesday is great time to eat dinner here. After thinking about it this place is excellent. The appetizer, beef Wellington was great. For the money I would go here for good food at a good price.
Absolutely a wonderful experience for my first visit. Food was top notch and desert was worth saving room for. The staff was outstanding and the atmosphere is welcoming. Le Parc Bistro is number one on my list of a quality dining experience in Frederick.
Great salmon salad
Great food and service.
The steak and frites are awesome. Great rub on the steaks. Definitely go and try it yourself. Jenn and Rance are truly professionals!
Wonderful French food in Frederick. Great atmosphere and staff. Good for lunch and dinner. Thursday has a great deal steak frites for 20 bucks.
Fun steak and frites night.
Really great restaurant just off the center of downtown Frederick. The decor is fantastic, there's a cat playing piano and the food is absolutely incredible. Give it a go.
A little bit of Paris in Frederick! Great atmosphere, food and friendly service.
Cozy and delicious French country dining. Excellent French Onion soup and dishes, esp. the sauces. And we ended up going without knowing on half price bottle wine night- a nice surprise!
I went here for a lunch with some family and it took a while to find the place as it was not in the main historic district. While it may look a bit average on the outside, the inside just seduces you the more you time you spend here. Now I was disappointed as the french dishes that I wanted were on the dinner menu rather than the lunch menu. I think the lunch menu was more of a brunch menu in lunch's clothing as the options gravitated towards omelettes and souffles. Nevertheless, the food is exquisite. The wine selection did not disappoint. The decor was beautifully done and everyone was quite charming. Le Parc Bistro has earned its way to one of my favourite places to eat and I cannot wait until the next opportunity I have to.
Casual perfection.
Love this place! Always order the special because whatever Chef puts together is delicious. Fair prices, generous portions, and solid drink pours makes this my go-to place for dinner in Frederick.
Restaurant is great but I got a lot of looks from homophobic white diners while I was just trying to have dinner with my partner.
At tale of two restaurants. On a Tuesday afternoon, my wife and I stopped by for a late lunch and we're greatly impressed by both the food and the service. We decided to take our friends there two days later were treated to service that was so bad we swore we would never visit again. I hope your experience is like our first....
Wonderful brunch menu, nice wine list, friendly server. Truly reminded me of a bistro in France. Meal highlights: beef Wellington appetizer, croque madame, tomato pepper soup. Creme brulee was a little mushy, but still delicious. I want to go back and try dinner some evening.
Greats service and a fantastic meal!
NEWLY DISCOVERED (to us) GEM IN FREDERICK. My husband and I visited this charming bistro on our way to a romantic getaway. He researched a place to stop for lunch and chose Le Parc bistro. I was really impressed with the atmosphere, food and service. Seriously the best croque monsieur sandwich I’ve ever had! We ate during lunch and found that it was moderately priced and definitely worth it! We will certainly be back!
I enjoyed my lunches (so far 3 times within 3 months) at Le Parc each time so far. Mainly its gracious service in a cozy, pleasant atmosphere brings me back. The menu selection is various and clearly presented. Usually I chose lunch special of the day (most recent one: Crepe with steak and peppers topped with a cute poached egg, plus yummy Mussels Mariner appetizer in lemony white wine sauce which the restaurant does so well ). The location is easy for us to take a stroll afterward the meal along Carroll Creek or Baker Park. Will be my top choice to entertain my out of town friends!
Best French food in Frederick by far.
Loved the staff. Great bar tender. The food was amazing.
Less than what I expected. Went there for brunch. Other tables who came after us were served before us, and our main dish was *cold* ... Plus the French fries were from a bag ... Not that impressed.
The shrimp bisque topped with a flaky puff pastry is phenomenal.
Great, friendly staff. Wonderful, delicious food options. Lovely environment. Piano player Friday and Saturday nights. Great wine selection.
Beautiful presentation, excellent service, and a very nice wine list. A little pricey, but worth every penny.
This French restaurant along Patrick St. has a pleasant atmosphere, discounting the 60s-era Christmas music that played the entire time I was there. The food, as tends to be the case with these little unassuming French places, is really fantastic; the poutine with duck confit is right up there with the Bouchon Creperie in Asheville (now apparently called Crepe Bourree) as the best poutine I have had (with honorable mention to Growler's Pourhouse in Charlotte). The crepe poulet was also excellent, along with a French onion gratinee soup that could stand with others I have had (though a tiny bit more salt and herb would have helped). Profiteroles for dessert were a nice end, and they have a fine selection of wines by the glass. The one fly in the proverbial ointment was the person tending bar, who seemed to be only semi-attentive to what was going on with the customers; he may have actually been the manager (or owner?). To be fair, he served a good French 75 cocktail, albeit seemingly looking at instructions, and the waitress who did most of the serving was good. Overall one of the best experiences in Frederick thus far. UPDATE: Wow, my second visit was a real let-down. I ordered the poutine again, this time during a happy hour, but it was a vastly inferior version of what I had the first time: barely any of the demi-glace, and the cheese was indifferent; the whole thing was dry and dull. And the service was a bit too much on the brusque side. I beat a hasty retreat after that experience; maybe it was an off night but still, I think my initial five-star review was too hasty. Maybe 3.5 stars for now.
The atmosphere and service were both very good. The food was fresh, and well prepared, but the flavors and combinations were not that great. The desserts were average at best. Overall it's a nice place reasonably priced but I probably will not be returning
The food was overall good but there are a few things that show either cut corners or inexperience. I ordered the rack of lamb and the lamb still had a lot of fat. The fat was not rendered nor was it removed. The sauce on it was very acidic, it appeared to be red wine mixed with tomatoes. Also there was a dollop of Dijon mustard which was overpowering. The soups were incredible and so was the crab dip.
Food was incredible. Our waitress, Alix, was awesome.
Superb food. Great service. Definitely recommend.
Warm and cozy. Great service and a lot of elegant food for the money
Great service, great food, reasonably priced. cute little salad, great bread, great ambience. worth a return trip.
Shrimp bisque was delightful. Piano and ambiance couldn't have been better. One of the best restaurants of Fredrick.
Atmosphere is pub style, the hard back benches have survived. Trout was under seasoned and the veal scallopini was sitting in a puddle. Flavors were ok at best, 2 drinks and 2 entrees came in around $80 with tip. A little pricey for the quality of food.
Delicious lunch, reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere and excellent waitstaff.
Amazing food and great ambiance.
Food was great, service was slow!
Lovely, authentic French lunch! Fruit, crepes and croque monsieur - yummy goodness with French wine, of course. Go and enjoy
Very impressive. This is a refined restaurant with very warm and welcoming staff. They are informed about the menu, the wine list and the food. The food is exquisite and exceptional. My wife and I have made this our new favorite restaurant.
Food was great. The atmosphere is always good. Nice place for a romantic dinner.
The roasted chicken was Ah-mazing!
The food and pastries are fabioulos
Rance an excellent bartender
Always a great dining event...
Love love love...cute place, great atmosphere and staff!
awesome food and lovely experience. only problem is a piano untuned. tune the piano and we will we back
Lovely ambiance. Satisfactory meal: too much peppercorn on Steak Diane, Trout needed a bit more seasoning. Wish this place opened for Sunday Brunch; we thoroughly enjoyed brunches here when it 1st opened. Accommodating: excellent table, requested fireplace be lit & swiftly acquiesced. Aria was a sweetheart! Easy parking.
Awesome atmosphere, Classy, great Service, Exquisite food, will definitely become our go to Restaurant,
Great food and superb service.
Have to give this place 5 stars for the food. Classic French, though the chef frequently adds a twist of his own. My short ribs were amazing. My wife got the crab dip, also excellent. Wait staff very nice. Only issue was that it took over an hour for the entree to arrive. Otherwise, a great place to eat.
This was my first visit to Le Parc. I was meeting a girlfriend for lunch at her suggestion. I wasn't even aware there was a French Bistro in Frederick. I chose one of the lunch specials which was a salmon Florentine omelette and I could not …
I was here for the 1st time yesterday with friend's for lunch. Quiet type of atmosphere. The food was excellent. I will be back.
Our first visit. Delicious. We ordered all of the special menu. A mussel frites appetizer, seafood fettuccini, and steak Oscar. All wonderful. Our waiter even have great wine selection suggestions. A good date night.
Fantastic French Selections - The flavors of the appetizers were full and delightful. Be a little adventurous and have the Escargot and the Fried Green Tomatoes. Both were very good. Great place for a romantic dinner or good times with …
We love eating here. We bring three little ones and they love it too. We’ve experienced most of the menu with no complaints. Our children are able to order off the menu chicken tenders that are amazing. Le Parc has the best waiters and we couldn’t ask for a better spot to dine. It’s hard to go anywhere else for dinner because we can always count on an amazing experience every time we dine. The owner is amazing.
LOVE THIS PLACE. One of my favorite upscale restaurants in the area. I love the feel of the restaurant, it does resemble European bistro. The food is always delicious. Try everything! You may be pleasantly surprised. (:
Meat melts and decor delivers
Never a bad meal here. This time I had the fillet. It was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The side of potatoes were a little on the dry side, and they were out of Stella Cidre. Also, there was a dish listed on the website menu that wasn't available on their menu in house. They need to get these sync up.
Excellent dining experience.
Very Good. Both in Food and Service!
Great spot tucked away just outside the downtown core. Warm atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff. I especially enjoyed their shrimp bisque!! The pork belly risotto was delicious too! Perfectly cooked.
This was our second time having brunch at Le Parc and it is truly exceptional. Every single thing we've ordered off of the menu has been delicious and the service is always great. I would highly recommend Le Parc.
Great food, great style.
The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch and having a live piano player to compliment the fireplace ambiance was the topper.
My favorite place in Frederick, MD. This place never disappoints. Go-to meal: glass of cab, brussel sprouts to share, and salmon with house salad. Everything is always done to perfection...I could eat here every day.
Wonderful food. Service was a bit mixed as our server seemed overwhelmed
A quaint French style restaurant
My favorite restaurant in downtown! I went there twice this week. The new chef is amazing! The French onion soup, steak frites and chocolate mousse are outstanding. The bread is fresh baked in house and all the desserts are now made in house. I wanted to try the raspberry cobbler for dessert tonight but was too full.
This is a hidden gem! The restaurant is beautiful and the service is superb. I will be back many, many times!
This place it’s beautiful, the play piano in the evening and food it’s good but nothing amazing, I had crispy tofu, it’s a little bit overpriced
Food delicious.
My family and I have been coming here about once a week for a couple of years and we love it! The Dijon Salmon is one of my favorite dishes and in my opinion they have the best Chocolate Mousse. Phenomenal food, friendly staff, and a welcoming owner, you won't be disappointed.
Went for the 1st time 2 months ago and it was an awesome experience their rib eye steak is amazing, along with their crab dip and calamari! Yummm will be visiting again !
We were so happy to find Le Parc. Not only is the food wonderful, but the service is great and they have fantastic cocktails.
Excellent food and service
Greetings, very unpleasant experience in my VALENTINE DAY. At 6:00 pm. Yesterday, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14. We were greeted by a gentleman whose words were "WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU" at the entrance of the Restaurant, when by experience as a manager of a local. It should be to welcome. My wife and I wanted to try a $ 150 budget for a new experience on such a special day. We never called to book, we saw that by that time the place was about 15% capacity. The only thing we expressed to the Lord was that there were no tables available. Very strange. We continued to look for another option and called to reserve and a male voice told us they had been available by 9:00 PM. We had dinner elsewhere, and just out of curiosity we passed the front at 8:30 PM. And this Frances restaurant had some more customers but it did not look busy. My Reflection: 1 DO NOT ACCEPT LATINOS, # 2. The manager reserved tables and most people NEVER WAS. DO NOT ACCEPT IMMIGRANT. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, TERRIBLE.
Not the best French food. Fun atmosphere but needs to step up its food game.
Good food and very cute restaurant. Would love to see more vegetarian options though their veggie risotto is amazing!
The food here is delicious and reasonably priced for a nice large brunch meal on Saturdays. Their Duck Poutine is amazing as is their crepes. Definitely suggest this as a very nice French dining experience, a gem hidden on Rt 40 just outside the main downtown area.
Great duck poutine, fantastic french onion soup, and spectacular triple chocolate cake.
Lovely lunch with friends! The service was wonderful and the food delicious. Contrary to the reputation of French cuisine, the portions were generous and three out of four of us left with some to take home. The shrimp bisque was so good, I wanted to order another for dessert! The scallop salad was a special, but so tasty and perfectly done, I hope they add it to their regular menu. My friends had sandwiches and crepes and no one was disappointed. We will definitely be back.
Brunch here on Sunday was amazing! Not crowded, live piano music, plenty of options, and delicious food.
Excellent food and service
Great service, atmosphere and menu.
My favorite in Frederick!
Pleasant, delicious, and kind to the pocketbook.
Fantastic date night with my wife. We had the beef wellington special and duck l'orange. Best duck I have ever had, and the beef was excellent. We can't wait to come back.
It was very crowded on a Thursday evening, but our waiter, Michael, was very professional and gave us great service
One of our favorite spots, just a short walk from downtown, along the creek and well worth it.
Wonderful food and great service. French onion soup the best I have ever had.
Honestly for the price versus the actual quality...... Not good.
Amazing!!!!! Wonderfully prepared food and cocktails. The steak frites was out of this world. Even the salad was presented beautifully and with care. I highly recommend!
Near the top of the list of Frederick restaurants. Nice menu. Good spot for wine if that's your thing. Piano man comes on Friday, I believe.
Romantic atmosphere, tasty and plentiful food, and a friendly and inviting staff. The ambiance is great: brick walls, wooden floors and beams, a fireplace and a piano. The food portions are huge and it tastes amazing! The cheese plate is plentiful, and the roast chicken and potatoes are the best. And the service is impeccable. It was our one-year anniversary, and they took very good care of her. If you want a romantic dinner that will satisfy you and not break the bank, Le Parc Bistro is your place.
Great staff and delicious food.
Quaint Bistro in the heart of Fredrick Md
Real French food.
Food was mediocre at best. The atmosphere was okay, probably wouldn't eat here again for the price.
I enjoy their happy hour prices!
Nice French place
At first arrival, the charming quirky building that evokes a French brasserie sets up an expectation that is well executed through the entire experience. We came for a belated Valentine's, because Thursday is $20 steak frites and enjoyed every bit! The cocktail and wine lists are on the mark, as were our Oysters Rockefeller and the aforementioned boeuf. To finish we shared the lemon tart, while he finished his Sazerac. The ambiance is great for a quiet adult evening out on the town, but dressing formally is not required. Service is prompt but respectful if you happen to take your time. Overall a very classy establishment without any pretentions!
Our special occasion restaurant.. excellent food and service.
It was a good experience, but from French restaurant I would expect more flavorful onion soup. Nicoise salad and creme brule were fantastic!
Great food, great atmosphere, great wine and excellent service....
Pleasant atmosphere on a Thursday night. Steak frites special was very tasty. Nice wine selection.
Excellent service and meal.
Always good food and friendly staff
Good ambiance, good food and outstanding service
Great food and service.
Very cool place with super friendly people. Service dog friendly. Food was incredible!
A delightfully cozy restaurant. Our food was freshly prepared and delicious. Out waitress was helpful with menu selections, and was very responsive. This was our first visit, and we plan to come back.
The food was great and Rance, the Bartender was very good. Portions are healthy sized as well. Parking is easy.
Fantastic food and wine with good service.
I was really excited about this restaurant and I called with a few question. The lady seemed very nice, then, mid conversation, she abruptly said "I have customers in front of me, anything else I can help you with?" That was extreamly bad telephone manners. You should have got someone to carry on with my questions or get someone else to attend with your customer's. A lost customer.
Great service and food what more could you want
Flavorful foods presented beautifully. Great service!
