Food was great...great atmosphere. However...beware of their no tank top policy. White tank tops...and even a Harley tank top are included. They were nice enough to provide a t-shirt for me. Not even the great food is enough to lure me back or recommend anyone I know to go here ever again. The nonsensical tank top ban when its over 90 degrees out makes no sense to me and any reason that can be provided by the owner or management would be appreciated. 3 stars solely for the wait staff and food.

If you don't mind waiting almost 30 minutes for a salad, crabcake sandwich and cold fries then this is the place for you. The restaurant wasn't very busy so I'm not sure what the holdup was. Also the waitresses didn't come back to ask if we needed another drink until well after the food was delivered which sucks because it was a nice Sunday night and we were ready to hang out and have a few drinks but decided not to stay and spend any more money in that place.

Langways is the only place I know that I can bring my 6 kids for lunch or meet 20 people for drinks and have an equally great time! Check out the patio when it's warm. A must-visit Anne Arundel County landmark.

I went to langway's for lunch I had( Caesar salad and crab cakes I forgot to take a picture of the caesar salad) . There is a nice size parking lot .The food was good I felt like it was quality and quantity for an inexpensive price. They have an outdoor eating area as well as indoor. It's a sports bar so they had different sports on TV even offered horse betting which was pretty cool.

Went there for lunch with 12 coworkers. We all thought it was pretty good and a good value for the money. Very clean, good service, nice people. Lots of tv's with sports on. Will definitely be there to watch the games on sunday.

This place is okay. Simply okay. The food is average and so is the atmosphere. They have an outside area which is nice during the summer. The one great thing about this place is they have good beer deals during capitals games and a lot of TVs to watch the game on.

Went here with my friend last night for the first time. Our server was so sweet. We really wanted chips and guac however it wasn’t on the menu. Our server talked to the kitchen & they made it for us anyway which was so nice & delicious. Beer prices were great as well. Definitely check them out!

First, I had a carryout shrimp salad sandwich two days ago. It wasn't really salad, but who complains when they get TEN jumbo shrimp falling off a nicely toasted brioche roll into the basket? I added a bit more Mayo to make it even more delicious. We went back yesterday to eat in. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich that looked so good in Langway's online menu, only to be disappointed. Neither very cheesy nor yummy, kind of dry. I should have ordered the shrimp again as I had planned. Our server was friendly and experienced, hustling huge trays for a party of 12 next to us, yet always there when we wanted her. The front room was busy and noisy. We'll be back, but earlier than six next time.

Went today and was disappointed. They only redeeming item was basket of fries. The wings were flimsy, my cosmo was awful and warm, which the waiter was condescending to me when he asked how it was. The prices are a little higher. Almost 3.00 bucks for a soda, 10. 00 bucks for a cosmos- there are no football specials - it’s nothing special- the menus were dirty. Yeah they have all the games but they should make their menu more appealing and more affordable

Great sports bar. They'll put on a game you request if it is not already on. The spiced shrinlmp were spot on! The drinks were excellent and the bartender was friendly and sociable. If you're disappointed with what you have,like a skunky beer or food isn't right it'll be replaced or credited. Fun bar, good food and drinks and sports on TV all over the place. They have specials like huge, juicy half price burgers and prime rib specials at the best price I've seen in a long time.

Usually, this is a cool hang unless a partucular bartender, whose name will remain anonymous, is working. This person is the absolute worst food service person I've ever dealt with, anywhere in the world. You practically have to beg this person to take your food order, but they'll have to put their cell phone down to do that, so it probably pisses them off to do so. Mel, on the other hand, is ridiculous good. Always is. Food is always cool, but this person can ruin the experience.

Great place for a drink and to watch a game. The outdoor patio is nice in the summer. Was here the other Saturday watching college football and the caps. Had a langway lager which was good. Also had the Cajun chicken sandwich. Highly recommend it.

Sports bar with good American fare. Had a bowl of (pulled) chicken chili - very good, and a swiss/mushroom burger, also very good. Did not add fries as their chips are excellent. Can get loud (surrounded by TVs), but deck out back was crowded, vs the dining room and bar (which was not) at 800 p.m. on a Friday night in July.

Place seems to be going downhill as of late. My husband and I have been going here pretty regularly for the past few years but are finding the overall quality of the place to be somewhat lacking. The menu hasn't changed (adding something easy like nachos or chips and salsa or different main dishes would be nice); the lack of upkeep of the establishment outdoors is noticeable (it has great patio space but it's clear that's not their priority with dead and dying plants, weeds in their garden, tables not wiped down). Table service there can be iffy although their longtime servers are great. The owner/manager of the place is not interested in his customers unless you sit at the bar every day from lunch til dinner I guess. The last time we walked in, he was sitting outside and barely even looked up at us without saying hi or smiling or any sort of welcome. Their burgers are great but sadly we won't be spending our money there any longer. It's just not worth it. I think they heavily rely on Capitals games and trivia night and could care less about anything else.

Don't judge this place by the outside! Visiting from out of town, three of us dropped by for a drink and a bite. Great atmosphere - there are two sides to the place, the "bar" side and restaurant. Lots of TVs showing multiple sporting events. Also an awesome outdoor seating area complete with fire place, ample chairs and lighting. For 3 rounds of beers/drinks and a good meal + tip for 3 people was just under $100. I would definitely come back here!

Went to Langway's last night to go watch the Capitals play the Black Hawks... super disappointing...not because of the crowd or the atmosphere, the drinks were great also... But disappointed because of all the TV's at the bar only two had hockey on (isn't this Rod Langway's place, the famous hockey guy?) When I asked that they turn the sound on for the Capitols game, I was told that they had Trivia going on and could not turn the sound on... However music was playing load and had nothing to do with Trivia... furthermore, Trivia was in a separate section "at the tables away from the bar... Guys is this a hockey bar????? I know you can figure this out... *(Sound for the Capitals game on one side of the bar and Trivia on the other at the tables? ) " It is all about experiences and going to Langway's is suppose to be a hockey experience... therefore the name right? So sad that what the name promised was not delivered. Was going to have dinner and a second drink but left disappointed after the first period.

Local bar, was recently renovated and it looks really nice. Service was quick, burger/fries (cooked medium rare!) and mussels were good. Sadly my cider was flat, both times. The menu is also a mash up of fancier food (shrimp scampi, charcuterie board) and bar food (burgers, wings). Overall, I would go again when I'm visiting family. Points deducted for the flat ciders only.
