I enjoy the cuisine here. It's yummy, and there are many healthy options. My favorites so far: Indish Machli and Mango Lassi. Both were flavorful and well prepared. I don't typically rave about food, but my first meal had me telling others about the place. I've also had their Garlic Naan and Indish Mixed Kabobs. They, too, were good. Friendly staff, clean and nicely decorated, nice location, and fair pricing.

A friend and I had a taste for some Indian cuisine so we stopped here on a whim. Best decision of the day! The food was excellent, the service was great, and we now have a go-to Indian restaurant in PG County! We shared the meat platter appetizer--the whole thing was great but the salmon was amazing, tender and so flavorful! Our bread selections were garlic naan and plain roti. Our entrees were goat curry and ghost kadhai, fantastic! Give this restaurant a try and you will be glad you did!

Just had the Sunday buffet. Very good food, nice variety and selections, extremely friendly staff. I had tried this place right after it opened, and would have given 3-4 stars then, but after today’s visit it’s clear that they’ve upped their game. It’s not a huge buffet, but what they do, they do really well, and at a very fair price. Definitely worth the visit.

Went for the lunch buffet and the food was delicious!. Everything was great. Restaurant was clean including restroom. Service was fast and friendly. They took their time explaining the ingredients in the dishes and didnt make me feel rushed while eating. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be returning.

They played the Om mantra the entire time I was there for lunch ... LOUDLY. I had a headache half way through the meal. Some of the food was great, but some of it was way too sweet. The tandoori chicken was just okay. Whatever you do, don't get the pizza. I honestly would have given it 3 stars if they hadn't blasted my ears with a chant the entire hour I was there. They have potential.

Sunday buffet today was great! There was a nice variety of dishes to choose from and it was all fresh and flavorful. The environment was clean and the staff was friendly as well as helpful. The price wasn't too expensive. My Husband and I both had the buffet and our bill was around $30. Not bad at all, especially considering you can eat all you want and it really is tasty food.

The best Indian food I have had in years. The servers were kind and professional. All the foods we ordered was delicious and flavor packed. We never had to call on our waiter for anything except the check. Never felt pushed or rushed or odd at all. It was an entirely great experience and we will definitely be going back again and again.

We really do enjoy eating here. I always get the Baingan bharta -- excellent vegan option! Wonderfully flavorful. My husband loves their spicy chicken Vindaloo and garlic naan. It is very affordable and the staff are great. The music is a little painful (not a huge fan of Indian pop), but that is a small price to pay for great food!

Fantastic restaurant. I've been for the lunch buffet as well as dinner service. Both times I was blown away. Kind and attentive servers, fantastic food, and good prices. The lunch buffet was $15 and had a great variety of dishes with incredible flavor and high quality ingredients. More than worth it. Highly recommend for Indian food!.

A welcoming surprise in the heart of Waldorf/Brandywine, and step above the many sub-standard food chains throughout. Walk through the doors to the wonderful smell of various Indian spices and curries (yum). I enjoyed the buffet (2 plates later) as the food was fresh, tasty and more than satisfying. Staff extremely pleasant and had conversations with everyone including the Chef. Next time you want a hearty and exotic feast, step into the Indian Buffet (Taste of India) across from Panda Express. Vegetarian meals also served.

On 6/7/2019 I went there for the first time to have lunch. I went there exactly at 2.20pm. They close at 2.30pm. I am generally a quick eater. They refused to serve me food as it was just 10 minutes to close. I can’t believe that they refused a customer to serve in a hospitality service business. I would rather do Panda Express right opposite to it than going to Indish. Too bad Indish. Not expected from you.

has had hair in my food both times that I went, check your food.. they always leave the tops open, rice is often hard. it's hit or miss. salad never has all the veggies in it, just filled with lettuce.. hope they get there act together and soon..

I was delightfully surprised to find this Indian gem in Brandywine. I have dined on Indian food all over the US (& the world) from Dallas, TX when I first tried this cuisine as a young girl to San Francisco to Omaha, Nebraska to Chicago to NYC to South Africa. I tried their Saag Paneer and plain naan and it was amazingly flavored, with a great presentation and nice serving size. The naan was cooked to perfection—not hard or burnt as some restaurants tend to do. I am hopeful that my fellow Brandywine neighbors will give this place a try and they are able to flourish (I am tired of having to drive to Alexandria for Indian food). I easily give Indish five stars. I’m glad they came to Brandywine—we need more variety in our food choices and this is an excellent start. Also, the service was responsive and understated as I dined alone for this first visit. Next time, I’ll bring the hubby and get him re-acquainted with this delightful cuisine. Finally the Bollywood music and videos created an upbeat atmosphere!

My friend and I love our date nights here. The food is always amazing. The wait staff are very prompt and pleasant. We try a different menu item each visit at the hosts recommendation and have never been disappointed. You definitely get your money's worth with large portion sizes to share or take leftovers. I have not been to the Buffett that is offered but I'm sure it is great.

Excellent service, very clean and beautifully decorated. The food tastes amazingly and I am happy they do have under their Vegetarian dishes, Vegan dishes. What we ate was Vegan no dairy or chicken broth. My husband who isn't Vegan, also founded his food to be super tasty. I do enjoyed that the flavours where not over powdering.

A long overdue addition to the area! My wife & I found out about this place from her folks, who highly recommended it. Since my wife & I are big fans of Indian food, we went to check it out. (Spoiler alert: we've since been here 3 times!) First important thing to note, is that it [as of the time of this review] still has the sign up for an Italian/Pizza restaurant that used to occupy this space, so it took us awhile to find it. Kinda odd, & a much needed fix, as it lead to a few folks coming in expecting something else. (this is main reason for me docking them a star) Second thing is that we haven't tried their buffet yet. Thirdly, we've only eaten vegetarian from them so far (though I look forward to checking out their lamb and chicken dishes soon). Once you walk in, it is nicely decorated, and there is often contemporary Indian music playing (generally from music videos on one of the screens by the bar), which was interesting & enjoyable to us. The tables have real tablecloths, which honestly lead to sometimes being seated at a table with stains (another partial reason for docking that one star), but we aren't particularly put off by this, as it had ZERO impact on our ability to eat. They start you off with a complimentary serving of these things that we can only describe as "chips and chutney" (we don't know what it's actually called, sorry). Try the chutney that has the onions in red sauce, it's great! For appetizers, we have tried their samosas (really good, though if you don't like spicy, you might not want this), & Kashmiri Pakora (these fried veggie patties--unfamiliar, but good). For entrees, we have tried Okra Masala (good), Nine Jewels of Vegetables (my wife & her Mom tried it, and liked it), & the Smoked Eggplant Bhartia (MY FAVORITE. LOVE IT). I also tried an Indian-style cheese pizza that they have on the menu, which was a bit different, but was overall, rather tasty; it tasted very much like your normal pizza, but the tomato sauce was just a little different. Overall, we have enjoyed their food greatly. They have also always given us WONDERFUL service every time (and they make my wife's currently #1-Rated Mango Lassi--we have had them from numerous restaurants here in the DC area, & this one is her favorite). We will absolutely be back.

Excellent food, great service, good prices. I have personally been to this location about 6 times now, even though I live an hour away. They have plenty of vegetarian options and their meat entrees have all been good from what I've tried so far. Their dishes tend to be a little spicy, so if you are worried make sure to order it mild. They also have a private room if you want to book a large party in advance

I with a group arrived yesterday at this restaurant after having numerous visits of Indian Restaurant in Waldorf/La Plata area. Upon entering, I was very much impressed having a warm welcome with a broad smile from reception. I was much satisfied with the ambiance as it was very large, specious, clean and very comfortable. At reception Mr. Ravi made all attempts to ensure that we all were comfortable and satisfied. The taste of food was really authentic Indian one and very delicious. I was much impressed with exceptional service from staff that was second to none. I must say, Indish means fantastic food, excellent service and superb ambiance.

the restaurant is at an excellent location ample of parking space. the ambience is good with table cloth seating. the food is excellent and the service the same. they have a buffet from 11.00 am to 2.30 and the cost is reasonable they have full bar as well. all in all waldorf has a new place to relish there indian apetite.
