Good price on drafts, lively atmosphere. Only thing is they charge a 15 percent service charge and also have a tip line on the receipt. I'll tip 30 percent to make up for stiffs, but I really hope that charge goes to the bartender.

When you come for take out the atmosphere doesn't matter. This place has been open since the 80's It's sad to see the quality of food and service change.

Classic Baltimore county Chinese restaurant that was remodeled a few years ago. Really fresh and delicious food. The best egg rolls and drinks. Very nice bar and lounge. Every night there's some new activity from karaoke to a DJ. Plenty of TVs to watch the games.

Website clearly say that carry out closes at 12:30 am. I called at 12:09 to place an order since I live only 10 min away. Was told kitchen closed at 12:00. Get it together. I'm pissed. Worked late and was starving. Either get your staff on board with your website or change it.

It was free to get in... the music was nice but the parking was tight and it was packed like a night club. If you're looking for a slight turn up then this is the place oh and they actually sell Chinese food. My shrimp egg roll was hugh... but the duck sauce was runny.

This was my first and last visit. The service was awlful. I sat at the bar and it took me having to flag the bar keep down to get her attention. I order a Mai Tai it was absolutely the worst Mai Tai I have ever had. The waiter (bar)!seemed to have her friends that she kept going back to take care off. Tip is included in the bill so there is no incentative to provide good service. This place is a JOKE!!! Run don’t walk away from this place.

Besides the pork fried rice, there is little be to desired from the Golden Dragon. The Bartenders are under skilled and drinks are horrible. If you like to drink Sunoco, BP, or Shell gasoline, then come here. The bartenders and wait staff only address certain customers. They do not check on you and you have to compete for their attention for basic service. The takeout service is spot on. Never had a problem with this aspect of Golden Dragon. The lunch specials you get generous portions for a great value. Some may disagree with this review but Golden Dragon decorum is great but need to hire attentive staff and it will really be next level wonderful.

I thought was great. Food and drinks were top-notch, affordable, and served promptly. Waitress was great! Music is so loud though that you cant hear the person next to you though. Kind of like a club bar but not really?Expect to be patted down at entrance. Was pleased to see he didnt pat my woman down though? Never was patted down before at a bar but wouldn't hold it against the rating since it is sorta near the big city and maybe this is normal? Not sure since we just moved to the area. Hope this helps!

I came in later than a group of friends i was meeting who had a table. A bartender who saw me hug those at the table wouldnt allow me to buy a drink from her if i was going to the table. The server for the table took 21 minutes to come and ask for my drink or if the table itself was doing okay for that matter, then took an additional 20 minutes for me to receive just a drink. I received my drink while everyone was getting boxes, that granted they asked for long ago. I waited 40 minutes for a simple drink. Terrible.

I visited here and had a decent time. A friend invited me out. I had never heard of this place before but now I'm starting to hear of it a lot. It's becoming a little hot spot. The food is decent as well and its themes on different days. It's really big with a bar single tables and TVs all over. They should incorporate a dance floor if they haven't already.

I had to get up and go to the end of the bar to get a drink because she was standing by the register on her phone and kept walking past us like we weren't sitting there.

This was my tenth time dinning at Golden Dragon within the past 3 weeks and overall I love this place. The server/waiter kept asking if everything was okay, if we needed anything, etc. My desert, rice and shrimps order was ready promptly, nicely arranged on the plate and served warm. The food was too much as usual, so I had to order takeaway foil package. I was pleased with the service and enjoyed my meal as usual. Also, I enjoyed my Long Island drink

My mom loves the ribs. Dont get the egg rolls they may be lovely huge in size but tastes nothing but of celery. Yuck. The wings are nice aside from cant order one part of the wing only mixed batch. Then they give u more legs then wings. Make sure they divide evenly when you receive your food. I'm a flats girl myself. The drinks are so strong if that's what ur Into. No doubting that . Be mindful one drink call a ride. I like mine more smooth. The shrimp needs to be cooked more tender I ordered the shrimp and rice the shrimp was way overcooked But broccoli was cooked to perfection. The shrimp n lobster sauce omg. Looks like brown gravy instead of clear lobster sauce it was a mess. Have to pick good dishes they can actually still cook. Mind you new business hand not the old ones we used to.

Terrible service. The server Tia was somewhat rude and not attentive at all. After being at our table for several minutes she finally greeted us. She never gave her name. There were another table waiting to be greeted as well. We asked about the specials and proceeded to place our drink order. After several minutes, the drinks arrived. She was off and eventually came back for ou food order. The ladies at the other table discussed her attitude. I asked for a full bottle of soy sauce instead of the 1/4 bottle she provided, she snatched the bottle and walked off. She returned with a full bottle and placed it on the table without saying a word. Finally our food arrived, it was placed on the table and again, she walked away. Never once did she bother to check on us or to ask if we needed anything else. At this point I really needed some water and proceeded to walk to the bar and ask for one. We would have liked to order a beer, but she never came to check. The next time she came to the table was to drop off the check, which included 15% gratuity. The ladies at the next table looked puzzled and shook our heads. Eventually Tia came back for the payment. She was not pleasant to us at all.

The only good thing I can say about this place is that they give you big portions of food. The waitresses seem lazy in their behavior and the atmosphere matches. The place is dimly lit and the air feels exhausting. I like going to well lit places where it's friendly and family oriented. The food is pretty good, I'll give them that. Went to Golden Dragon last night and received HORRIBLE service. It’s always a hit or miss with service there but last night was the worst. The bartender who helped us was a brown skin kind of chubby woman with a stank attitude. She had two pig tails in her head. The only good thing she did was wipe off the countertop in front of us without having to be asked. Other than that...horrible. I ordered a water and my bf ordered a drink. We then wanted something light to eat. I asked her how the general tso chicken bites were and all she did was nod her head. (Side bar, this woman literally did not say one word out of her mouth to us. All she did was shake her head yes or no like she was a mute or something). Anyways, we order the chicken bites and they were disgusting!! First of all they were more like chicken strips rather than bites and the sauce tasted nothing like general tso(it was very garlic forward). So we told the waitress that we didn’t like them and she just walks away and heads to the back to get the manager. I’m usually not the type to send back food but it was that bad. The manager comes over and i explain to him that we didn’t like them and wanted to send them back and all he does was take the plate and throw it out and walked away. Neither of them asked if there was anything else they could get us or apologized or anything!! What kind of service is that??? Next thing you know, about 5-10 min later, the bartender brings us our bill. Again, she didn’t ask if perhaps we wanted another drink or anything. I really thought she was a mute until I saw that she was talking to other guests at the bar. I’m not really sure what her issue was but i will make sure i NEVER sit in her area IF i go back.

Visited Golden Dragon Oct 14, 2018. We started as a party of 4 and Angel was our server then we became a party of 14 and Angel still.didn't get additional support which she desperately needed..drinks were slow and by slow I mean it took about 20 minutes to get a vodka and club soda and a jolly rancher and the bartenders have a policy that they don't let you order and pay with them until you've waited a designated amount of time that they didn't let me know before they will allow me to have that second drink and the other was for a co worker. Receiving our checks took 25 minutes and 15 minutes before she would start to pick them up and cash them.out because she hadn't accounted for a 2.00 soda...don't worry though we will not be back.

Have been eating at Golden Dragon for decades!! The food is always the BEST anywhere!! Often we come for lunch. If you have never been there for lunch, you NEED to check it out because their lunch specials are GREAT! Went today for lunch and for $6.99 I got Pork Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein and an egg roll.....and NOT small portions either (the egg roll is HUGE)!! No way you can beat that for value!! Our bartender was Jay and she was very nice, personable and brought our food to us timely. Always a good experience. The only thing I might suggest is that the music could be turned down a bit during lunchtime because at times it was challenging to understand what my friends (and the bartender) was saying when they talked to me. Still, it's all good and we will return again (and again and again).
