The veggie burger will have you coming back and back again if that is your preference. My friend who is a vegetarian brought me here stating it’s her favorite veggie burger. My burger was made to order and was delicious. Both fries and onion rings are good sides for your burger.

If you're ordering in advance, choose an earlier pickup than you need. I ordered more than an hour in advance and still had to wait ten minutes for my small, simple order—just long enough to miss the bus. The hour wait for the next bus aside, they honored my request for all flats, which would otherwise have garnered five stars in my book.

Not a ton to this place but seems promising for a new burger spot. Straight forward enough menu with a quick ordering system - but the food does take a little longer than expected. Manager is Tommy and he was super involved, which was nice. Will definitely try again!

This is a fantastic place to get a hamburger. In the last year or so, the staff here has changed over and has become increasingly friendly. This is the only place in the area where you can get a burger, fries, and a drink for around $6 (for the little hamburger, which is plenty IMO). The quality of the food is always good, but sometimes the bun will be cold or the fries will be lacking salt.

The happy hour is pretty good and it's otherwise a decent lunch place. You can construct your order on a preprinted notepad if there's a line so your burger/sandwich is juuuust right. The patio is nice when the weather is. Last time I was there they still used Styrofoam cups which is kind of a bummer, and also incongruous with the "eco-friendly" utensil and napkin dispenser.

First time here. Fork dispenser was broken and I was offered one of two forks that were sitting in some kind of a pot that had brown dirt on the bottom. Watch out for that. Also top part of the bun was hot while bottom one was cold somehow. Meat was great though.

I go back and forth on this place. The food is fine, but sometimes they don't complete the order as given. I've had to send back a couple items to have them fix it. Front of house service has definitely improved, but the kitchen needs to be more careful.

Their wings are a must if you get there during happy hour from 4-7. Their hamburgers are better than you would think but extra toppings are a little pricey. Service is usually good but they rely heavily on you being the take charge kind of person and coming to them to order your meal. Don't always expect to be waited on.

Why does it take 10 minutes to make a salad to go? This place is way to expensive for the quality of service and food. I avoided the major lunch rush at 3:30 and the joint was empty, got a fried chicken salad and some onion rings to go. Almost 15 minutes later I had a lukewarm bowl of hot salad and five regular sized onion rings. One the portions are way too small for paying close to $15 for the meal and the fact that I am pretty sure the chicken and onion rings were just nuked is beyond disappointing. Two the cute guy at the counter was being harassed by the cook and was very unprofessional. I have seen the burgers also this place is not worth the stop go to five guys or somewhere else for lunch if possible - all the shops in the plaza are rude and poor quality for the outrageous prices. Hell the 7-11 is friendlier and cheaper than them. Only plus though, the guy behind the counter was cute and they have some nice happy hour prices on beer.

Kind of hard to believe this location is part of the same company as the one in Warrenton. I placed an order online and arrived 1 minute after the time it said my meal would be ready. The female at the cash register handed me a cup and told me the burger would be out soon. I sat down and waited . . . and waited. 20 minutes I waited and the female never told me my food was ready. She spent most of that time standing behind the bar, chatting with two people drinking at the bar. I saw several food delivery people come and go, picking up food off the table by the cash register. When I saw the large group that came in behind me and ordered their meals in the restaurant get served, I went back up to the cash register to ask the guy who was there. He looked at the table and found my order, which had been sitting there for over 15 minutes. I told him I wasn't accepting a cold burger and asked it to be remade. I also asked him why she didn't tell me my order was ready. He didn't have an answer, so called her over and I asked her why she didn't tell me my order was ready. She wouldn't even speak to me. HOW RUDE! No sorry, no nothing. Just turned and walked away. Now for the food. It wasn't up to the standards of the Warrenton location, that is for sure. The meat was incredibly bland and the fries were undercooked. Not worth waiting 50 minutes. I won't be going back here.

Pro tip: order the kids meal burger. You can still load it up with all the veggies/condiments you desire, it's still decent sized burger, fries/drink are the same size as the regular meal, but the price for the meal is only about $5.

A low key place, with decent food. Don't expect much. the burgers were fine, place was clean, staff was nice. Everything you would expect from a decent fast-food restaurant. I do think the staff could use a bit more training, as they got my order wrong the first time, but quickly corrected themselves. Anyway, to me, this place seems like DC's version of In-N-Out from CA.

I do not get why people like this place I have gone there 3 times in a 1 year and 1/2 and each time was unsatisfactory. The first time I went there I ordered a burger with BBQ sauce with fries and the burger was overcooked and the fries were bland and not good. The second time I went there I ordered the kids chicken tenders. Who knew you could mess up chicken tenders, but they did. They were so bland and dry! Not even the dipping sauce could save it. The third and last time I went there I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce and onion rings. The sandwich was so dry, hard and burnt. The onion rings were so greasy that I could bend one in half and a glob of grease would come out. I do not recommend eating here unless you have the taste buds of a dead rat.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I dunno if they were just having a bad day, or what, but today's experience was just *awful* Both the burgers and wings were *EXCEEDINGLY* dry. They were more suitable to drying up chemical spills than they were to being lunch. As a rule, chocolate should *never* make you sad. The chocolate shake we ordered with our meal tasted like it was made with hospital-grade icecream. I can only guess this place stays in business because of its proximity to a large office park (it's walking distance to the Carlyle center). $25 for a burger, a dozen wings, a side of onion rings and a chocolate shake - all of which were too poorly prepared to finish. Awful.

As a first timer, I think this place is under rated. It's walking distance and I walk by everyday. Glad I stopped by for dinner with a friend. Really nice decorations inside. I ordered one Jr. charburger, one jr. Charburger with a side of cheese fries, one 1/4 pound hotdog, and two drinks for $18. Stuffed! The burgers have a great taste and built to your order. The hot dog is huge! The nacho cheese on the fries wasn't my favorite (cheddar is better) but that's a personal preference. Grab an order sheet or two, pick a table, pick out the items you want to eat and write them down. Take it to the counter and they bring it to you when it's ready. Had a great meal for a great value. I'll be back for sure. Also, be sure to follow them on Instagram for a 10% discount. Edit: February 1, 2019 - I came back and tried the olde fashioned 1/2 pound charburger basket (comes with fries and drink for about $11). Wow. It is huge! It is messy. It is delicious. I highly recommend it!

I find it strange how different some fosters grille can be. This one does serve alcohol and at a convenient after work location. The problem here is consistently slow food and a general sense of not caring about the customer. The food quality, once you get it, is usually good. Overal id tell a friend - It's ok.

We waited for a whole 2 hours. Only about 6 of us got food in the first 30 minutes and it took forever (mainly the special burgers were first like turkey burgers and veggie burgs). To be fair though we were with a group of about 102 people at least. It still probably shouldn't have taken this long though. We even called in advance to this place. Anyways, overall Pretty bad, but we need to give Aaron a raise because he was such a cool and chill dude. We love Aaron.

Love Fosters! I live at 800 Carlyle across the street so I visit Fosters frequently. It’s great for an affordable meal that’s a happy medium between sit down and fast food. There’s also seating outdoors which is convenient. One of the employees there often makes homemade cakes that you can buy slices of. Tommy is the best!! He is very personal and will get to know you. Each time I go, he chats with everyone there and gets to know your name and order through time- makes a big impression! On occasion an order may be done wrong (which happens anywhere) but they are happy to fix it quickly for you. I also love going to grab a quick drink. Overall, Fosters is a great place to go!

Nothing fancy, but they offer pretty good burgers and wings at cheap prices. It's in a no-frills strip mall setting with open seating, a shortish bar with a reasonable beer selection (I've never ordered any other kind of alcohol - not sure if you can get a mixed drink) and a few TVs. I always get takeout so I'm not totally sure, but I believe there are no waiters - you order from the counter and pour your own soft drink. There is shaded outdoor seating during the summer alongside the parking lot, with a view of the USPTO building.

On this particular day there wasn't enough staff to meet customer's needs. It took a long while for the food to come out. The fries were not warm let alone hot. My hot dog however was cooked perfectly. Although my co-workers enjoyed their burgers, I noticed the cheese was not melted. I'll go back eventually but only after they increase staff during lunch.

Foster's Grill has some of my favorite wings and sandwiches on the Virginia side of the Wilson Bridge. I take my kids and my oldest son loves filling out the paper slips to order his food. Everyone orders in a piece of paper and brings it to the cashier to order. Comfy outdoor seating in the summer, and warm environment in the winter.

We organized a work related happy hour event at Foster's Grille for about 80 attendees. The management of Foster's Grille accommodated us with ease during the planning phase. The event worked out so well for everyone. Attendees enjoyed a fantastic spread of food for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The food and drinks were plentiful, exceptional and appropriate. Kudos to Foster's Grille for a job well done!

I went here and the young lady taking the order was very rude. She avoided eye contact in addition when she finally came over to take our order she didn’t even say can I help you or what can I get you. She just looked at me rudely with the pen and pad in hand. I had never been there before so I was a little confused with where to order and what the options were. When I asked her do fries and a drink come with the price. She rudely replied well do you want fries and a drink. She acted as if I was interrupting her. One positive was that the food was delicious and made fresh to order. I would recommend getting someone who actually likes dealing with people at the front taking orders. In addition the same young lady that took my order was walking and standing all on the booth to put ice in the machine with ice bags. After she was done she never wiped down or cleaned the booth afterwards. Although the food was good I won’t be back.

We was so impressed with the atmosphere, the Customer service and of course the food! My wife philly steak was the best one she have had! It was so delicious she was not talking to me..lol! My burger was excellent and the fries was hot and extremely good! If we lived her we would be regulars. This place is amazing! Keep up the good work guys! See you our next visit! My previous experiences (3) were actually not bad, but my most recent experience was horrible, thanks to the manager on duty (Jessica)! After I placed my order, I found that the rim of my glass of beer was dirty. So, I respectfully returned it for a cleaner glass of fresh cold Yuengling; well, they ran out. Really??? Nevertheless, I reluctantly settled for Stellar. Then, ...it took 30minutes to complete my order of just 1 single chicken (grilled) sandwich and fries. OMG!!! The sandwich came out (almost cold) 20mins after placing my order; then, the fries followed 10mins later (after 2 friendly reminders). As she served the basket of fries, Jessica offered no apologies/remorse/courtesy whatsoever. I was left with no other choice but to return my meal, pay for my glass of beer, get a refund for my meal, and simply leave. I won't be back, especially if Jessica is on duty!
