Michael Marks

The food here is always fresh and very good. The service and staff are very good. The wait time can be long depending on when you go. The price is not terrible considering the area. I would definitely recommend going for a nice evening out.

Rachel Ratliff

My husband and I came here as a second option, looking a buffet with snow crab legs. Had a decent variety of foods from seafood to mashed potatoes and gravy. The food was alright, crab legs were great and the dessert was just okay. Decent priced for crab/seafood.

Jonny .

We went here tonight for the buffet. I tried a bunch of different things, they were all good. My favorite was the salmon with corn relish and the stuffed shrimp, I think I ate a pound of salmon!! I ate the Greek salad and veggies and some greens, they were all delicious. Matt was great keeping our drinks full and clearing our plates. If I'm in Ocean City, I'll definitely be coming back here!

Kay Broyles

I had a fantastic meal. The buffet was beautiful. Every station was full and at the right temperature. The staff was curtious and attentive. I'll eat here again on my next visit.

Patricia Mercado

Excellent food. Great selection. Clean. Little pricey, but you get your money's worth.

Craig Martin

Frozen chicken nuggets for the sweet and sour chicken. Good selection, food was just ok. Way over priced. Better places to choose from. Avoid if possible!

Alison M

I tacked on an extra star for the friendly staff. However, as stated in many other reviews, the food is neither exceptional nor well-priced. At 40$ per person regardless, this is very steep for someone who doesn't want to eat the crab legs. The food was sub-par; others at my table complained of soggy shrimp and crab legs.

Bryan Stinski

Place was clean, service was good. Big selection of food. Our servers were super nice and quick delivering drinks and removing plates. Will definitely visit again

Karmann Ghia

Worth every penny. High food quality, attentive staff and large variety. Definitely recommended.

kit to the kat

The crabs were great bit the side foods where ok not the best but the waiter was amazing.

Joelle Nwoke

Loved this place so much we went twice in one weekend! The buffet has all you can eat crab legs, prime rib, ham crab dishes, chicken, pasta, the list goes on and on. Just know it gets a little crowded! Certainly well worth it and about $40 per person. Not bad at all for high quality all you can eat!

Christine Traynor

Great wait staff, somewhat expensive for a buffet. Good food.

Tony Middleton

Food was great but you better get here early if you don’t want to wait for a seat.

Courtney Daniels

Great variety of food on the buffet. Even our picky 5 year old had plenty to eat. Crab legs were our food of choice! Our waiter stayed on top of cleaning plates from the tables and our drinks were always full. Will definitely return next year!

Cindy Johnson

Massive amounts of crab legs yummy. $40 or more per person though

pete stump

IF THEY ONLY HAD WARM SHRIMP!!! The rest was really good

Jake Martinak

We had the Buffet - Plenty to choose from but Over Priced for the quality of food.

Tara Stull

The food was great and our waitress was very good but it was SO FREAKING COLD in the back dining room I had to wear a jacket while eating. No reason for this and several customers complained but nothing done.

Maria Massar

Food was awful! Golden Corral has better for much less $$. Food had no flavor, the meat was especially bad. How do you mess up Prime Rib?!?! This was a very expensive buffet and definitely didn’t give us our money’s worth.

Eileen Perez

For the price and to choose cold food and crab legs we small and with a slither of meat. Mac n cheese from a box and mash potatoes made with water. Would not recommend this establishment. $148 for three people for cold food.

Nick Schmidt

Great experience! There’s an exceptional amount of food in the buffet, and the crab legs are delicious.

Kelsey Reichard

Not good at all. Crabs were overcooked so the meat was very difficult to get out. I've had better crabs at a casino buffet in the middle of WV. No crab crackers or shrimp forks provided. Steamed shrimp was cold and flavorless. No old bay anywhere in sight! The crab imperial tasted like I had scooped a spoonful of mayonnaise directly from the jar into my mouth. Crab cakes were dry. Hush puppies were overcooked and dried out. Sweet and spicy chicken was nothing more than chicken nuggets with sauce on them. Spend a few more $$ and go somewhere else.

Tim Moss

Not as good as it use to be, I had a $4 off a person coupon for me and my wife and they never took it off. Didn't realize it till we got back to our hotel. Won't be going back next year.

Michelle Anderson

If you want seafood and unlimited amounts of it then this is the place for you. I thought it was a bit pricey if you don't eat any of the crab legs. The Bonfire gives you a option and if you choose no crab legs it's cheaper. I think all buffets should offer that. If you go sit my the window. You can see the bay and boats docking.

Mike Bowman

This will be a mixed review. Food was ok. Crabs were a bit over cooked making them difficult to get out. Service was sub par for the price. Waitress was almost non existent. Drinks took 15 minutes or longer to get (nonalchoholic) when I asked her for a knife for,the Prime rib she said to go ask the station and they told me to ask my server. All other diners received a bowl for shells and shell crackers but we didnt. She seemed very inexperienced and overwhelmed for not being that busy. Food was hit or miss. Stuffed shrimp were amazing. Prime rib was just Ok. Not a horrible place but god help you if You get Lauren for a waitress.

Melissa Murray

Food was good, our waiter was good....disappointed in the amount of seafood options

Sheila Ebelein

Service was fine. Buffet was awful. Poor selection and preparation. Noisy. Overpriced.

Michael Finch

Very good food. Nice an clean and professionally managed

Andrew Andrew

Lots of low end food for 45$. Server was great.

Nick Swisher

Fantastic food and service. The wait staff are all very friendly and attentive. Best seafood buffet in OC!

Jenifer Snyder

Love this buffet. Only one I'll go to. Selection is huge and the food is great

Dawn Creasy

Being gluten free, believe it or not, hots is one of the harder places to eat at in OC. I keep hoping that each time I go, there will be more I can eat, but most things have sauces that make them off limits. The meat carving station has good meats, though, and the seafood is ok. Edited to note the restaurant's reply below...Thank you for that, I will be sure to ask for a chef next time. I know we will be back.

Vanessa Reyes

I would recommend someone to go here. The service here was amazing. They are so friendly and kind. It was a bit pricey, but my experience there was incredible.

Shannon Smith

I DO NOT recommend this place at all. It’s not worth the price. The food is terrible, it was all cold, the drinks are overpriced and weak. Don’t waste your money!!! The staff was really good here, very attentive and friendly.

Sherria Lovelace

Great bang for your buck. Food was a little under-seasoned but that's usually the case with buffets. Cool space kind of reminds me of cave but much nicer of course lol. Definitely not a waste of time. Staff is really friendly too.Follow @slplanning on Instagram for foodie finds, things to do, and freebies

So we don't usually do all you can eat buffet but if you're going to do it you might as well get something you like. My wife and I both love snow crablegs. We first called to see what the price for the buffet was. We were quoted 30.00 and some change. Not bad. We then called back to make sure they had the crab legs we wanted. They did. We got there kinda excited because we both love crab legs so much. We sat down and ordered our drinks and then proceeded to go straight for the crab legs. They were the typical crab legs. Nothing special. In fact they were not even as good as I would have expected from an establishment of this caliber. Half the time you couldn't crack crack the crab leg because it was soft. If you've ever eaten crab legs you know exactly what I'm talking about. Sometimes they were not hot but semi warm. The rest of the food looked good and the rest of the patrons seemed to be enjoying it but we did not partake. We came for the crab legs. So we ate until we were full and had a couple drinks. The buffet ended up being 40 dollars and change. Apparently they have a blue crab buffet that when you call you must be specific because apparently they can get them mixed up. No biggie but for 40 bucks I want my crab legs to snap and crack and be hot. This was not the case. We were slightly disappointed.

Aminata Sesay

Worth every penny. Good food

Matthew Nunamaker

This place is way overpriced!! The food want anything special. The buffet area looked like it needed to be cleaned a bit better in several places. I don’t think anything they had was worth anywhere what they had it priced.

Dawn Taylor

Last night at the beach and we ate out every night. This place was by far the best! So many options from fresh seafood to pasta. Waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints here.

Carole Ross

Everything was good except the peel shrimp. it was over coked

Jennifer Stapleton

Good but pricey $86.00 for me and a 8 and 12 year old

Valerie Heleva

Crab was fresh and delicious! Emily our server was awesome! She was attentive and friendly!

Heidi Ferrell

We had a short wait then great service and food.

Thomas Testa

Prepare to be filled to capacity! Some great sea food and italianndishes aling with a good drink selection. Fresh sea food in the area isnt unheard of but a very family friendly atmosphere and my waiter (Ameir I believe his name was) was excellent. They add the gratituity to the tab with 6 or more but I doubled it he was on top pf the entire table and never had anything but a friendof comment and offer of service. Great experience centrally located in the area and close to miniature golf and the bay. Reccomended highly.

Gwen

Pretty standard buffet fare, but for a premium price. Service was good, but food quality was far below what I expected for $40 a person.

Zachary Alter

Terrible food. Terrible service. I would give 0 stars if I could. Waiting to call back when they open to get my money back. You’re better off going to McDonalds food is cheap and lousy. Not worth the $90.00. I hardly ever leave reviews or complain for that matter but my experience here was absolutely terrible.

Dean Krauth

They had it all, but not obe one thing we tried was good. On top of it our bill was $130.00 for three people and that didn't even include drinks. Never again!

Anthony

Great variety of seafood and non-seafood items. Lots of seating.

A C

Good service, good selection, $$$$

Keri Myers

Way to expensive. Food does not seem home cooked, and not very good.

Becky Campbell

This is our favorite AYCE seafood buffet in OCMD that has crab legs. Service is always great and food is always good. There have e only a few times have the crab legs not been as hot as we preferred.

Michael Szalay

I give 3 stars to the staff definitely on top of everything some things need addressing crab legs over boiled shell gets rubbery effect mussels little dry do to having to many in tray but other than that I had an awesome experience there all the food tasted great

Kia Savage

Ember’s has really lowered its standards. This place used to be upscale and a very exciting place to visit. The food selection is subpar and limited, which is disappointing for the cost. I used to frequent this place years ago when and was very disappointed that it has gone downhill. They had a large spread of nasty Sysco style desserts, which used to be an area of food. To top that off, our waitress was uncaring and annoying. Kept rushing us when it was approaching the closing time and offering the check, which was very rude since in these visits she was not refilling drinks or clearing the table. Management really needs to do better. Just because you know it’s a resort town doesn’t mean you need to overcharge for low quality service and mediocre food. I really don’t mean any harm, this left a bad memory, but Heather, thanks for trying to rectify the situation. You say you train the servers to be present and attentive. Our server was not attentive to our needs without being prompted. Nevertheless, perhaps this will allow you all to better train and provide more satisfying service.

Tom Kimmel

Went to Embers for Thanksgiving and the experience was very good! They had good food, service, parking, and room in the restaurant to enable many families to enjoy a meal together without being overwhelmed and bumping into each other. The management did a great job planning and preparing for everyone to be served in a timely manner. The staff were courteous, helpful, and very pleasant to be around. A definite A+ experience!

Travis Gallant

Wont be going back. Place was like an ice box. Service was pretty decent had to wait a couple times on drinks. Crab legs were decent but they were always cold so were hard to crack one person in our group cut themselves. All the rest of the food was very bland no natural flavor at the very least they could have used salt and pepper. Have never left so much unwanted food on my plate because it tasted so bad. Also was $200 for 4 people and none of the food was worth near that much. Wont be going back because there is way better places that deserve my money.

Michael Sheridan

Food is pretty decent quality for a buffet. Family if 4 adults + 2 kids cost @$275. Bill added up quick.

Gregory Reser

Dining room is ALWAYS freezing! Bring a parka and your own food. Theirs isn't worth the $40 per person they charge you.

Kristen Gough

Food is decent, our sodas tasted flat and the room we were seated in was extremely cold.

N. Schantzenbach

Very good, many options, crab legs were good. Pricey

Patrick Peregoy

As a Chef in Maryland , and having worked in the food service industry for many years, I can only say great things about this seafood buffet . Prime rib cooked perfectly , fried seafood was hot, fresh ,and golden brown. Crab Legs were plentiful ! It's always a great time ....

PlayStationPlayer

The food here is great along with its wide variety. Considering its a seafood buffet its a steal as many other places will charge you $12 for half a pound of shrimp during happy hour specials.

Ray Stewart

The food and service was good and the price reasonable

Serena Stevens

Expensive but worth it! I was expecting a longer wait since I was told 30-40 minutes but I only waited about 10. The crab imperial was delicious and the snow crab legs were perfect for cracking think I ended up eating like 3 entire crabs! The service was excellent the staff were always taking care of me and my family. I am definitely hoping to return.

Vanillahotdog_ Kevin t

Sits a thousand people wait upon arrival is between 15-20mins price is steep at 41$ per adult but hands down the best seafood buffet in ocean city if your a crab leg lover Phillips will be your place lines long wait there

Minnie Harper

The best crab legs and customer service!

Cathy Burt

Food was good but would of like scallops maybe next time

Tyler S

I came here years ago and remember an unforgettable experience. The food was so good that when I was deciding how I wanted to end my MD vacation, this place came to mind. Boy have they changed... overpriced, subpar food and a whole isle full of desserts. I won’t be coming back and I don’t recommend anyone waste their time and money here.

Ava Chinchello

Great food and great service! Waiters and waitresses are very nice and the food is always fresh.

Adam Connelly

Just your typical beach buffet. Seating only took a little bit on a Friday night at peak dinner time. Wide variety and lots of seafood and other options.

Jessica Terry

I only ate crab legs so can't speak to much else. Butter never congealed. They allowed us to get as many as we wanted. Strawberry lemonade was great. I had just as many refills of it as crab legs. Tony our waiter was awesome. The reason it's not five stars is due to the dessert options and the crablegs are hidden in the back.

rebecca deitz

Food was good. Unlimited crab legs cant be beat.

Ellen Meyers

Your food was disgusting. I have been. Coming there for years. Each year has gotten worse. This time I will never eat there again. I was sick as was my daughter and mother after eating their.

Nicholas Zoskey

Friendly service alot of food alittle to much money for what its worth

Terrence Triplett

A must when in Ocean City, Maryland. Good selection of food and everything is good.

kathleen Agliano

Expensive but food was good. Just can't eat enough from the buffet to equal the price. Paid our bill early, before we were done and couldn't find some one to fill our drinks

Lady Crystal Moon

Food was great. Service was a bit slow but they was extremely busy

Britney Goetzinger

First I would like to say we visit your establishment every year that we vacation at ocean city. I've never had a problem with staff in the past. But last night was a different situation, your hostess Ariel was rude, if she has a problem with repeating herself then she shouldn't be in customer service. She had a problem with a customer asking twice where the bathroom is, she was rude to myself and daughters, and friend about having a separate bill. Other than that, our waiter Jake was awesome and apologized for her rudeness. Apparently that must be her demeanor. Anyways, I'm not usually one to complain. Other that her unfriendly behavior we had a great visit and the food was awesome!

ekjd1202

We went to Embers with a sleeping 2 year old and still had a wonderful and enjoyable dining experience. The food was wonderful- hot and plentiful- and our server, Ian, was kind, attentive, and very helpful. Wonderful experience and food! We will definitely be going back!

Steven Bailey

Great place to wat lil pricey but deff worth the money

Madison M

As a vegetarian I didn't get charged the full 39.99 for this place, and yet I found that there were still so many things I couldn't even try in a day! There are lots of options no matter what kind of diet, lots of veggies, tons of meats and seafood, different pastas, dessert, etc. Our seats sat near the window by the water and we had a wonderful view of the sunset. Great for if you're looking for something a little more upscale

Edward Saul

The dining and food service area appeared clean and the server, Travis, was very friendly and attentive. The food, however, very disappointing. Everything was dry, over cooked and cold. My family of 5 arrived at 3:15 for opening service, at the very least, expecting hot food. All the fried food overly battered and all tasting the same. All the steamed food, dry and bland. I got a piece of ham from the carving station...cold and inedible. The snow crab legs, soft and pliable. There was no “cracking” them open. Stay away from the raw oyster bar, the oysters were stringy. They could not be slurped, as they were adhered to the shell. When attempting to use a fork the oyster shred apart. The taste was terrible, tasted like old dirt. The deserts were more of the same, the “homemade” bread pudding, solid as a brick. The moose cups had a disgusting film over the top from sitting out too long. I think that I’m done with buffets! In the future, if I want to spend $50 per person for a meal, we will go somewhere for good quality food. Embers does not make the cut! I will never go back and would not recommend it.

Silly Lizzy

The seafood was perfect! Shrimp and crab were so delicious, fresh and sweet. They had sooo many food options. You know they are good when you show up the first hour they're open and they're packed. Well worth the $40 a person. Can't wait until I'm back in Ocean City to go grub here again!

T W

We really enjoyed ourselves here at Ember's! Nice staff, the wait was not to long and the food was delicious. We always enjoy this place and the positive waitress makes it even a better experience! The food was well stocked at the buffet, hot and delicious. Crab legs huge plus!!!!Thank you for making this a great experience for me and my family!

Spell J

Its not worth what they charge per person. The best thing is the crab legs and I had a little of everything . Their desserts are absolutely disgusting. And to make matters worst they have flies that land on the food

Kaitlin Darr

The food was not worth the price. However, the food did fill me up and there was a wide variety. The meat and fish offered were pretty dry, which is understandable as it is a buffet. That price just wasn't worth it.

Jamaal Bailey

We enjoyed having dinner at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food was great. When we visit this summer we will definitely dine here again

Michelene Pagnotti

The food was excellent! Low wait time and very nice selection of both seafood and meat dishes with pasta ! Child friendly and can handle large crowds

Chris Michaels

Great selection of food items! Excellent prime rib and Alaskan King Crab legs! A bit pricey, though!

Nicole Weaver

Good food...had to wait for each seafood line and super expensive

Holly Hopkins

Great crab legs and oysters! Service was awesome!

Dorothy Taylor

Snow crab legs were awesome and stuffed shrimp

Shalonda Morris

Food was good and fresh. Good price for all you can eat

Shannon Marie

Good seafood and service

David Ramsey

Food was cold and the absolute worst I have ever eaten for the money. I was extremely disappointed. This is nothing but a glorified pub buffet. Can't remember when I had such a bad experience eating out. Very sad to say but the truth... Cost $120.00 for 2 adults and one child. I would have honestly paid more for a 5 Star experience. I hate leaving bad reviews and this could be a success story in the making of they stepped up. Management needs to get this establishment turned around.

Joseph Griscavage

Good variety of options, never seem to run out of anything, and if they do fresh items aren't far behind.

jimmy suraj

Very nice all you can eat seafood restaurant, I go here everytime I visit OC

Lynn Stiteler

If you like buffets, this is the place for you. Good service and broad selection. No menu, one price depending on your age...

Ms Trice

Pretty good, decent selection. Cravs were handed out like a soup kitchen. Sad. At $41 each i should be able to get a full plate! Sad sad sad sad. Tourist trap. Servers were great tho. Weight time wasnt ridiculous.

Rayf Schiavo

If you like seafood this is the place. $40.99 all you can. We beat em up..,lol... tip if you don’t have kids with you sit at the bar!!!

Stu Gamba

It's a very good place to go if you like all you can eat seafood. After three good plates in I was satisfied.

Christine Pringle

Delicious, great variety, wonderful staff.

Brandon Abraham

The space is large enough to handle a typical Ocean City dinner rush with a relatively brief wait. The buffet was good in taste, appearance, and variety. I would recommend to this place to others and return myself.

Robert Sphar

Very good seafood buffet. Great service. Crab legs are great. I cant compare to any other place in ocean city because this is the only place I've ever ate.

Shawn Starr

Good but i like bonfire better.

stacy staryarsky

Wasn't impressed with the selection, the seafood was a bit over cooked and the beef and ribs and chicken were tough. The ham was good and the desserts were good. Wait staff is very cold, barely a word out of them, they did their job efficiently but maybe that's how they are supposed to be with customers at this restaurant.

William Fives

Was there on July 30, 2019, 7:30pm. Very dissatisfied. Prime rib raw, food subpar. Not worth $40. Not worth $15. Spent over $200, for 5 of us.

Megan Varner

This place was nice but the food was not worth the price. My husband and I brought our 3 and 5 year old here and our bill was $125. The children ate spaghetti and mac and cheese. I think that this place is nice but way overpriced.

Dan Richard

We've done all three of the major all you can eat buffets in OC. Embers by far has the biggest selection of foods on the buffet. Although the crab legs were a bit better at Phillips, easier cracking them open at Phillips. Embers is still going to be my first choice in the future.

Christopher Corrado, DVM

This was our second attempted restaurant in one night, and it was amazing. The crab and prime rib are both "lit". Some of the best snow crab legs I have ever eaten, on par with Hilton Head, SC. The old bay adds all the flavor. The hush puppies, pickle fries, and monkey bread were all fantastic. My son loved the clam strips. The meal was great, we can't wait to back. My mother even fell and cut herself on the way out, and it is still a 5 star review. Our waiter, Ian, was fabulous.

Evan Baily

I’d like to give a shout out to our server Brook for the outstanding service we received last weekend! She was courteous, responsive, and very welcoming. We highly recommend Ember’s!!

Loren Tulley

The buffet didn't have as many seafood options as I would have liked, but the food was alright. The service wasn't very good. Waitress kept my change when I paid.. even though the tip was included in the bill.

Shauna D

Decided to try this restaurant after a few local suggestions. Big mistake!!!! There are limited seafood options, and everything was cold. I waited on a fresh pan of stuffed shrimp only to find out that too was cold. Crab legs were decent but over cooked. I asked for Old Bay, only to be brought something that definitely wasn't old Bay. It was freezing in the restaurant to the point we were so cold it was uncomfortable. Our sever and his partner were nice and attentive. Although around 2015 they started cleaning sections and were adding napkins and taking off salt and pepper shakers from tables that were occupied. That is super tacky. Wait till people are gone before you start messing with occupied tables. This was our 1st time to ocean city, but last time visiting this restaurant. For the price, you could find something much better.

Jimmy Tudor

One of my favorite places to eat in OC. Always have to make a stop here during each visit. Good selection on the buffet, food is always fresh, and servers are very attentive. Best all you can eat in OC

Anne L

Abundance of food! Crab legs, shrimp, oysters, clams, cod, lobster casserole, steamed, fried, baked, hot or cold, steaks, Italian selection, salads, veggies, potatoes, noodles, rice, prime rib, ham, chicken, and every dessert possible! Did I say it's a all you can eat buffet with a alcohol bar too!

Debbie Abernethy

Fabulous just an extremely LONG wait

Sara Hauff

Best place we have been for all you can eat! The crab legs were fresh and hot, delicious! The service was outstanding. Our waitress Tesha was on top of everything and made sure we had everything we needed including drinks when they were low. She was a delight. Food was fresh and hot and delicious! All around great place. Definitely got it money's worth and then some! Great food, great service, great atmosphere!

Joya Williams

This restaurant was pretty good. However they do not offer Blue Crabs. Which was one of the reasons that a lot of us went there. However the variety of food that was very good. The prime rib melted in your mouth! The clams On the Half Shell Raw as well as the Salmon were awesome!!!!

Jacob storm

Ember's is a buffet style dining experience. The staff was pleasant and helpful. But the food was nothing great. Most items come from a box or bag which is fine except you pay $40 dollars per adult. The price is outrageous for what you get this restaurant is taking advantage of tourist. I will not be going back.

Jkurtz1509 Jen

Not bad. Think it's somewhat on the high price end for a typical buffet at the beach. Get your money's worth if u like crab legs or prime rib.

Michael Cummings

Good buffet awesome fresh raw oysters ,great options for the non seafood lover too and dessert variety top noch. Great service.

dodge boy

ON Saturday September 28 2019 we were at The Embers. (We have been going there for several years, always liked it .) The quality of the food is poor. The only thing they did not screw up was the crab legs. We had several different kinds of food from the crab legs to the deserts. The foods that had crab in it was substituted with imitation crab (fish). The crab imperial looked like bits of rice that was cooked in a tub of butter. The breaded shrimp were curled dark brown balls of salt. The fish (Tilapia) was over cooked, tough and chewy. This is just an example, we were there about half an hour after opening. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Tom Julia

If you like big buffets give in to the temptation once, or try Phillips, the competitor across the street. Went there on July 3, and it seemed to be a mecca for large adults loading their plates. Ambience feels like a cafeteria. Adult price is $41, youth $20, 5 to 8 years $13, and toddlers pay $8. That's not family friendly pricing.

Eric Thompson

We have always made this a go to stop on every trip to OC MD, but latest trip the food was cold and pretty much every item. The saving grace was the service and that if you let them know the crab legs are cold they brought hot ones out.

S Gardner

Food was good. Chef was constantly checking what was out to make sure it was okay. The staff is nice. The ladies in the front need to smile and could be a little happier.

Kerry Hinson

Not worth the price!! Crab legs were the best part everything else was bland and no flavor. Won't be back!!

Louis Nedz

Amazing assortment of food - not just seafood - no one will ever go away hungry.

Jasmine Washington

Could have had a bit more seasoning on the food but all and all it was good.

CT _CT

We were in holydays in Ocean City and heared about Embers restaurant. We tried it on our last day of vacation and were so impressed ! The food was amazing and you can forget about the idea of having a lack of anything, including desserts. The service was really A1 and the waiter was always ensuring nothing was missing on the table. We highly recommand and wish we could stay one more day to go there again !! Congrats to the whole team at Embers, you've got it ! Cyril (Quebec City, Canada)

Mike Holdren Jr

This was our first time here and fantastic. Our waiter was great, and the food was nice and hot. It is expensive, however looking at other buffets(are a little cheaper) however the crab legs aren't included and you pay extra once you go for seconds. This is defilently a great place to eat. Also, having "mixed drinks " for children is a fun thing to have for them.

Eric Backstrom

For the price it could of been better with more seafood varieties and variations. Been there many times but this was my least favorite experience. There was a seafood medley that had probably steamed oysters and there was pieces of shells in it so I couldn't finish it. Unhappy customer.

Jay Brown

Good food, but the Bonfire seemed to have a better selection.

Neil Zahradnik

Buffet was ok. Service was great. Buffet for adults ran about $40 u.s. dollars which seemed a bit pricey. The food was good. The beverages from the bar were good.

d montrose

Embers is a good buffet! Lots of seating and several dish choices. The crab imperial is very good as well as the stuffed shrimp. On a slight negative side, the crab legs were smaller in size than any other OC buffet I've been to. The crab legs, however, were mostly hot and easy to crack. Service was great. Our waiter was very attentive.

Jenni Guevara

Plenty of options, and staff stayed on top of what we needed. They were constantly refilling foods and keeping on top of that, and cleanliness, as well.

Vince Manner

We went here last night Sun 25th, the selection is quite extensive, snow crab legs, various kinds of shrimp, deserts, etc. Most of it was quite enjoyable, and no keeping the crab legs behind a counter like Philips. Liked the idea of having metal plates too for a odd reason. However the fried oysters were the only disappointment having a overly fried batter. Philips and Embers are the best two buffets in Ocean City with Bonfire being a distant third.

Victoria Davis

The crab legs were good but clams and mussels were dried in their shell. Pricy but the server we had was a nice kid. I'm on the fence.

Christopher Blamer

Service was good, food was cold. Seafood variety was disappointing.

Jeremy Barber

Great place to eat. The staff is fantastic and doing a wonderful job.

Seriously disappointed ☹️. The prime rib was tough and so was the chicken marsala! On the positive side the wait was short, the servers were great, but I think maybe offering fewer number of selections but at better quality.

This is my first time to this restaurant, and I feel like this is a great place to eat when your hungry. Embers Resturant has everything laid out perfectly, though the the ribs didn’t fall off the bone, like I had before. The potato skins were probably out for too long and felt stale. Overall, I loved everything else. The crabs were great, every time I came up they had a new Mac & Cheese plate out, it’s delicious. This place has my word. Embers food is great.

Definitely not as good as it used to be was hard to get the meat out of the crab legs. Service was not all that great and was stuck by a fan which made it freezing cold.

My first time in OC Maryland, and it was great before leaving we visited Embers, what a really nice place even w/ it being crowded staff got you seated very quickly, our waiter Zach "two thumbs up" super nice guy thanks buddy....cant forget the food one word "Awesome" worth every cent, will be returning.

A very mediocre buffet. Crab legs were displayed in pieces rather than clusters. They were very salty and watery. Lots of flies were attacking the prime rib station as the employee was cutting it and serving it to people. I agree with the review below that this is in fact a tourist trap. 40$ a person for a buffet full of sub par food. 10$ for a shot of liquor. Jeez. Won’t be back.

Seafood was great except the fried stuff was 90% batter. Overall a great buffet. Seated quickly

Food was good not great -- a little pricey ($41/adult) for what you get (if you can eat 5 lbs of snow crab legs it's definitely worth it). Desserts (particularly the brownie and the chocolate mousse) were strangely not sweet

Gina Surdykowski

Omg. This place was awesome. I don't usually eat crab or little neck clams, but we came twice last week.

Estil Hughes

Marvelous prime rib with crab legs galore. Just the right place to celebrate important occasions.

I forgot how much I loved this place! I didn't get to stop here my last visit to OCMD in 2018 because of other people in my party wanting to try "someplace different" but this year we ditched them and I brought my husband too. Five stars all the way around. Service was top notch. From the people who greet you when u walk in, to the serving staff on the buffet it was an all around pleasant experienced and I have to say it was crowed!!! We went on the 4th of July...the place was packed but the staff didn't miss a beat. Our server was a very sweet guy and he kept our table clear of crab debris because that's my goal, CRAB LEGS, CRAB LEG AND MORE CRAB LEGS. My husband sampled a little bit of all the seafood and he had nothing but good things to say about it. Keep up the good work Ember's...we will see you next year.

Stopped here without knowing anything about the place. Staff was friendly. Food was great. But the sticker shock of what I paid to eat still hasn't wore of. Great place to eat if you are into spending alot of money on one meal.

Michael K Buck

Good food, but no sushi. Staff inflexible. Expensive, but if you like seafood, you can eat your weight.

Tracy Ann Braswell

I ate so many crab legs I was stuffed. Good eating

Bradley Henry

Food was great the service sucked way overpriced

Arde Shad

Very good place especially for their Thanksgiving dinner buffet. We enjoyed it very much.

This has been a family favorite tradition to come at least once per vacation.... we went tonight and the food was unbeatable it was dry overcooked extremely disappointed for the price that we had to pay we will probably never go back ! Sidenote I’m not somebody to say probably comments and reviews I also leave reviews when I really like something I’m just very disappointed in the overall experience

First I'd like to comment on the feedback regarding the lack of "family friendly" pricing. Have you seen the price of snow crab legs lately? Prime rib? Peel and eat shrimp? How about crab meat? If you have you should realize what a bargain the Embers pricing is. And that's on top of the fact that you can eat as much as you want. Besides, the prices are posted as you walk in. If you aren't comfortable with the prices you can just as easily leave, there won't be any hard feelings. That said, Embers is a must stop whenever we visit Ocean City. The variety is unbelievable. Beef, seafood, chicken, there's something for everyone while the food itself is wonderful. The snow crab legs are a huge hit and believe me Embers does not skimp on the portions. My family does like our desserts but we are so full of good food by the end of the meal dessert is just impossible. I will agree with the comments that some of the food could be served a bit warmer. However it's not enough of an issue to deduct the rating we give the restaurant. Bottom line: If you're looking for a place with an endless variety of wonderful food at a reasonable price we highly recommend the Embers.

The food selection is tremendous! Everything was cooked perfectly. The all you can eat crab legs were so delicious...perfectly steamed. Bbq Ribs, Italian sausage and pasta, fresh corn on the cob, savory meatballs, the carving station! Everything was perfect. They call it "all you can eat," so that's just what I did...ate all I could!

Claire Hankins

The food was okay, it had good flavor but it was cold, well room temperature and we got there when they opened. It wasn't worth 40.00 per person plus drinks. Our bill came to 106.00 and change because they add a 15% tip.

Its nice has a variety but seems expensive
