Visited 7/24/2019 for breakfast. Service is excellent. This was our second tine trying Duesenberg's. It's a popular place, but the food can be disappointing. I had fried eggs, bacon, toast and fresh fruit, and I was satisfied. The spouse thought her scrambled eggs tasted like they had been cooked in old fat. The home fried potatoes, while homemade, were cut too large, so they tasted like boiled potatoes. We both had bacon cooked inconsistently, some pieces undercooked and others nearly burned. On a prior visit I had the creamed chipped beef, but it was not served piping hot. On that visit my wife found the link sausages to be flavorless. Again, it's a popular breakfast restaurant, so perhaps we're just unlucky.

This place is a little pricey. But the food is fantastic and the portions are huge! If you're into Reubens, this is the place for you! The homemade potato chips are absolutely delightful!

This place hits the spot on great food. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive on refills. Just an all around great experience every time we visit. The Crisfield Benedict is delicious. The kids love the pancakes!!

My husband and I had lunch here and the food was amazing! We ordered the catfish po boy and the chicken cheesesteak. The po boy was good but the chicken cheesesteak was EXCELLENT! The best I’ve ever had! The service was exceptional and the food came out quickly. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Duesenberg's was recommended to me by a friend. It serves breakfast and lunch. I went there for lunch with a friend and we ordered the corn beef sandwiches. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sandwiches were good and they give you a lot .You can eat in or do like I did and take out. For faster service I suggest you call ahead, this place can get busy. Parking is located in the rear of the restaurant or across the street at the Pizza place only.

Wonderful lunch spot in the heart of Catonsville. Brought a friend from out of town who fell in love with this place. Whom has since expressed fond memories of their meal "That pastrami still haunts my dreams". The staff is very friendly and prompt with refills and service. The food is very tasty and the restaurant is very flexible with food allergies.

The overstuffed sandwiches are delicious. You cant go wrong with the Chesapeake Club or "Fins to the left" (Ahi Tuna burger) . Steak fries, sweet potato fries, a string bean fries are available as sides. Ample sized meals also available for breakfast. Typically they aren't opened in the evenings (aside from some wednesdays when they serve German food) and are closed on Sundays. Get there before the lunch crowd, during the week, so you won't have to wait to be seated, as it is a very small place. Parking can be an issue as the closest spots are metered street parking.

Duesenberg’s is my favorite place to eat for breakfast (my favorite foods are brunch related). Born and raised in the DMV, I don’t get staple items (crabs) in Atlanta as often. So every time I come home—I must EAT HERE. My love ones enjoy the crab omelet. It’s full of lump crabmeat and they do NOT skimp on portion sizes. Best breakfast in the area. Consistently consistent!!!!

This is a great breakfast/lunch place. The menu contains both standards and interesting combinations. Portions are large. I'm partial to the cream chipped beef omelet and the american dip with green bean fries.

This place NEVER disappoints. It was my 3rd visit. Today I had the Chesapeake Club with fried green beans. So delicious and so much food!! I managed to eat 1/4 of the sandwich and all the green beans (which I shared with the table). I'm looking forward to my next visit!!

Nice restaurant odd menu but the rest of my family seem to like this restaurant very much. Myself I can take it or leave it. can't recall the name of the sandwich but basically it was a roast beef sandwich with some weird name. It was okay but the roast beef could have been cooked a little longer.

In a world full of ordinary places to eat breakfast and lunch, Dusenberg is anything but. The place is off the main drag in Catonsville and you'd go right by it if you werent looking. The day I went it was very busy, and the outside seating wasnt open (due to weather) but the amazing staff moved through the wait list with ease. The menu was vast and every selection seemed specially crafted. I ordered my wife a Chesapeake Club which was so big she couldnt eat it all in one sitting, and I tried the make your own burger! Food was very good and we will definitely be back! See pics of sandwich! See especially the surprised look on her face of the size of the sandwich! Fries were awesome too.

The food was great. However the family atmosphere didn't work in such a small venue. It was and felt crowded. Most of the patron seemed to be from the neighborhood. Which would be awesome if you actually live near it. But being that close to other families while their children are screaming theme songs from cartoons. Was too much for me.

This is a great place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The food is fantastic. I passed this place a bunch of times and then finally a friend invited me for breakfast, and I'm glad I got to eat here. If you're looking for quality food at good prices. This is the place to go in Catonsville.

Came here with the girlfriend, I was surprised by how small it was yet the food and flavor was so big!! I got a burger and my God, it was HUGE and delicious. The French toast she got was also amazing!!

It's an old school diner. Even tho brunch is their main meal, they're closed on Sundays. Their food just carby and heavy, but their menu is extensive! The green bean fries are popular. Coffee leaves so much to be desired

Everything I've ever had here is great. They've been open for years and are still on top of their game. Personal favorites are the South side Benedict in the grilled duck salad. Get the French fried green beans. Portions are huge. We usually leave with half of our sandwiches and enjoy them again for lunch the next day as well.

Hostess was a little push-backish about our seating request. Delivery of food was very fast (Monday, late lunch). Not inexpensive but a large serving, so the value is there. Flavor was good, not great.

Delicious all-around food and wonderful service. Comfortable environment which the staff makes quite pleasant. Not sure the waffles are worth getting there before 10:30 for... they seem like average tasty waffles. If you are a morning person and will be dining earlier anyways, by all means get the waffles. Everything is just as good, you can't go wrong.

The rating would have been much higher until my coworker misplaced her ring while paying at the register. Once back in the office, she called to ask if the ring was found and the man that answered (probably the owner) the phone found it and told her it would be in the register when she came to pick it up. Since their hours are not conducive to after work hours, my coworker tried to give him a name and tell him that someone would be there to pick the ring up on Saturday - which he promptly told her that he doesn’t need a name and he wouldn’t guarantee that the ring would still be there on Saturday and then he hung up on her after telling her that it was her fault she lost her ring, not his problem. There’s no need to be rude to customers that come into your place of business and spend their money in order to keep your business open. My group of six will never be coming back there, ever!! Regardless of his rude behavior, our waitress Pam was excellent.

I was brought here by one of my colleagues for lunch. What an awesome surprise. It's a quaint little restaurant with great service. I haven't had great deli in a very long time and this pastrami rachel was absolutely awesome. The portions are huge and simply delicious! I will definitely come back!

Go for breakfast and lunch often. Weekends-go early! Beignets are nice on cooler days. Coffee is good but we bring our own creamer as theirs is basic. Small space but roomy enough to get up and move around some. My kids love the food. My mom and sister now loves it. I’ve never been disappointed. Actually on our way there now for a late lunch. Be mindful they close at 3 and are closed on Mondays. Also they close for a week around some holidays. Call ahead.

My absolute favorite restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The best pancakes in town ( they add fresh blueberries to their blueberry pancakes) also how do they make the oatmeal so delicious. They know how to posh eggs. Unfortunately, they close at 3pm & are closed on Sunday. Almost always a line...do get there early. The staff is like family to me. Love..love ...love the staff and the food.!!!!!

We enjoyed Dusenberg's: the service was good, food was good, and prices quite reasonable. Portions were large: my wife ordered a Rachel that was stuffed, I had a hot pastrami that was well prepared. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, and was always right there with a refill for our ice tea or glasses of water. The atmosphere is casual, but in spite of a busy lunch hour conversation was easy: Dusenberg's is not too loud. The only (very slightly) negative is that parking was a bit of a challenge.

Stopped here on the way home from BWI last week. Cozy place with friendly staff. There were lots of tables available when we arrived so we didn’t have to wait, but it was a weekday so that most definitely factored in. We wanted to try the Beignets to start, but were told they didn’t have any on that particular day. Instead, we ordered our main breakfasts: the French Toast platter and Crisfield Benedict. Both were delicious. The lump crab on the Crisfield Benedict was well seasoned and complimented the bright, creamy flavor of the hollandaise perfectly. Both came with a side of home fries which were mixed with bacon and onion. Price was reasonable for both considering the amount of food that came with each plate. Since we were there the day before Thanksgiving, we also lucked into being able to purchase a few of their holiday pies to take home with us. The pecan pie, which was $26, was definitely worth every penny. Not overly sweet, well baked, crunchy roasted pecans. However, the other two pies we bought (Fruits of the Forest and Pumpkin) didn’t seem to be worth the money we paid for them. They weren’t BAD pies by any means, but for what we paid, we expected absolute delight, and instead were left with mediocrity. Next time we’ll just stick with pecan! Overall, this cozy place would be a regular breakfast stop for us if we didn’t live so far away.

Been here three times and I've only had one good meal here. Considering their prices, the food should be much better. I've had their western omelet and can honestly say that I can make a better one at home. And their fish 'n chips has no flavor at all. All the malt vinegar in the world couldn't bring any taste to that awful dish.

We asked if they had real maple syrup before ordering pancakes. We were assured that indeed they had real maple syrup. They brought out fake syrup. Maybe it's generational and the young people don't know that there such a thing as real maple syrup. It's just a little thing but not for somebody who can't have the high fructose corn syrup. Ambience is nothing special, but I had a kind and prompt server. Ordered the “fins to the left” sandwich with the green bean fries. One of the best sandwiches I think I’ve had and the green bean fries were nothing to scoff at. Yum Yum! Will definitely go again.

Intimate restaurant with charming service and a local diner feel offering great food. The Crisfield Benedict was perfectly prepared, with lots of jumbo lump crabmeat. Home fries with onion and bacon are crispy and delicious. The "Chicken Burger" was huge with lots of bacon and sliced avocado, and a generous amount of crispy French fries. You can create your own omelets and burgers - what's not to like? An extensive menu for a smaller establishment. I have never been disappointed with any meal I've ordered. On-street parking right out the front door. A great place in downtown Catonsville.

I like Duesenburgs for breakfast. It's pretty standard food with no surprises. The restaurant is small with some outside seating. The morning I went, the first day of school, they closed the outside seating and the air conditioning was so cold I considered not going to the restaurant until I found a jacket in my car. Overall though, you'll like your food.

I love the food here. Best Ruben I've had in a long time, and you have a choice of meat! The service is great too. Very friendly staff, they come around often enough, but don't bother you if you are in the middle of conversation. That said, the real bummer about this place it that they have a policy that all people in the party must be present before they will seat you, but there is nowhere to wait inside, and a leaky awning outside. Left me standing outside in bad weather when the person I was meeting for lunch was stuck in a traffic jam. I wouldn't meet someone for a meal there again. There's plenty of places to go that are a bit more accommodating if you may have to wait a while.
