Never got the crab dip we were going to start with. Was brought a chicken wrap when I order a shrimp wrap. And my wife's steak and cheese was soaked in so much grease the bread was not able to be picked up. No apology other than 'this is the way we make it. Would you like to order something else?'

What a wonderful time we had. The evening was gorgeous so we sat outside. Server was very sweet. Out meals were delicious. My salmon was cooked to just how I asked for it. The fried oysters were top shelf. Drinking my wine in a small plastic cup was weird, but we were outside, I understand. Of course there was a line for the ladies room....... Oh and the music was marvelous. Not sure who they were, but very enjoyable and not over powering. We will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I have been in here a few times over the past year or so now and have always enjoyed it. There are enough selections on the menu to span any type of food, not just seafood. We've always been in either for lunch or early-ish dinner so the crowds have never been a problem for us.

I'm rating this place for the quality of the food and service not the dockside bar which looks like a great local spot. At best the food is just average for a bar. Not bad but not great. While the server was friendly she was relatively inattentive.

Not impressed. Food is overpriced and small portions for the amount you pay. We ordered blackened scallops for an appetizer for 11.95 and it came with a total of 4 scallops and a huge bed of salad and onion rings. If we wanted salad and onion rings we would have ordered it separately. Seafood platter was 29.99 and only got a small piece of fish, two scallops, one very small crab cake. Would not recommend. Highly disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic. Had wanted to try this place since it switched from Calypso Bay. We had the crab dip, cream of crab soup, crabcake sandwich, club sandwich, MD crab soup, blackened scallops, chicken ceasar wrap, and old bay wings. Let me tell you, there was absolutely NO complaints! The only thing I would change is I feel like there should have been more scallops for the price, either that or less garnish with the spring greens. It felt more like a salad than anything else. The scallops themselves were so tasty! The onion straws were as well. Everything was just delicious. The crab dip had huge pieces of jumbo lump crab on top, and the cream of crab and MD crab soup had good chunks in them as well. The crabcake sandwich did not disappoint either! I tend to like more salty spice, so I would ask for old bay on the side next time, but it was not required, everything was still amazing without it. Definitely give this place a try!!!!

I fell in love with this place. The owner is great and very hands on so she knows what is going on. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restrooms are clean and the view is amazing. I enjoyed fried fish and my husband had a crab cake sandwich. Both meals arrived hot and was more than enough food. We will be going back. Well worth the drive.

The food is good, and in the summer there is a nice outdoor seating area with wonderful views. However, I gave it 4 stars because it's not a very extensive menu. There aren't a lot of options for lunch, although there are more for dinner. But as someone who has some dietary needs and a picky eater there just isn't a lot to choose from.

My husband and I absolutely love Dockside! We go there quite frequently and sit by the bar. Brandy, our bartender is incredible, always attentive, friendly and greets us with a big smile. The food is always delicious, the setting is beautiful. We eat a nice meal then walk it off in the marina and look at all the nice boats. Highly recommend this place!

A great little spot right off the Bay. If you are visiting Deale or transiting through Herrington Harbour North, this is worth a visit. The food is good quality, and some things such as the simple but fresh fish sandwich really stand out. Crabcakes are excellent.

Had a horrible experience here. Owner was mad that two people in our party of six did not show up. Very rude to us actually coming up to our table without saying a word and taking the two chairs unused. We did not mind that part of it as they were not being used but he was very passive aggressive about it mumbling how he gave us the best table in house...it was dark all we saw was our reflections. It just made the evening not very pleasant as we felt like it was some how our fault that the other party cancelled. She wound up in hospital for three days ...I mean really people do not go out if their way to take business away from them. No one in our party has ever been back and have no plans to go back. We live in the area too. Kind of too bad but it was that awful.

Approached this restaurant from the slip as we slipped our boat right in front overnight. Great atmosphere and location. Mostly nice staff although the chef setting up outside in the morning wasn't particularly friendly.

My gf LOVES their half and half soup mix: onion and crab soup (not sure which crab soup but try both with onion or ask the waitresses. Dockside has decent food and the staff is generally friendly. It's a laid back place where you can be dressed in business attire or shorts and feel comfortable. The crab dip is always excellent. We've had dinner there about 20 times and enjoyed ourselves every time.

Better than most places around Deale and Shadyside. Fish specials are actually worth getting, not just the last ditch effort to use aging fish stocks. Not cheap but worth the price in quality and serving size. My son had Shepherds Pie, which was very good and generous, and I had an Amberjack special that was excellent. We'll be back!

We come here when our boat is at Herrington Harbour North Marina. It’s convenient since you don’t have to drive as you can walk to it from the marina. Truly the only restaurant around waking distance from HHN. The restaurant is kind of divided in 3 areas, the sports bar, the outdoor “tiki”bar and the “formal” dining room. The restaurant is on the water and you get to enjoy waterfront dining at the outdoor bar and at the formal dining room. Food is good quality and tasty. Every dish we have had here is good. Our favorites are: cream of crab soup, blackened scallops over greens, and the seafood braised cabbage.

I had a blast! I went for the Deal of light Christmas boating parade. There was a lot of people there but everyone was able to get the service, drinks and food they needed. There is about 4 bars that were open that night one in the main restaurant where you can sit down and eat dinner on one side or choose to sit at the bar on the other side. Through the restuarant there are double glass door leaded out to the docks to the separate 2 level bar and outside area where you can stand and socialize or sit at outside tables. I liked that they had standing heaters for people standing out in the cold to watch the decorated boats go by. Only used the bar outside to get drinks and the service from the 2 lady's working the bar was great! It was shoulder to shoulder packed in there but I never had to wait to get a drink. I cannot wait to go back to get the full inside experience. Well done!

First off, this place is absolutely amazing. On a near 100° day this place is an oasis. The ac is phenomenal. I only got a burger, but I tried my partners salad. Both were worth the cost and a definite tip! They have a bar, TVs showing baseball, horse races, and lottery drawings all at the same time. They do sell lottery tickets, but will prioritize serving food as I noticed this on a small sign. I noticed the bar had a large selection of liquor. Overall, I would recommend this great establishment for anyone of any age.

If you are told you will get the room all to yourself, it won't be a problem, don't believe it. Two other groups came in the area next to us. It's a room where voices carried and was hard to hear a thing. It ruined our whole event which was a once in a lifetime event that we can never do again. Extremely disappointing and forever a black eye on this important occasion.

We love dockside. Always super friendly wait staff. We never have to wait and the steak is always cooked perfectly. There were 6 of us and everyone loved their meals. We never had to ask for refills the waitress was very good.

I have been eating here about each Saturday for the past month (while working on a boat). Staff is very friendly and they are great service. The breakfast buffet was very good especially for the price. Lunch has never disappointed (Reuben, chicken salad, burger, crabcake). Overall, it is a solid choice to stop in!

First time experience - it was okay but I won’t be going back. The food that was cooked properly was delicious but they don’t appear to know how to cook meat temperatures correctly. I did hit it at an extremely busy time so that may have been the issue. The bartender was nice; however, she was also covering tables which does not seem fair or right for her or the customers. They did take the over cooked meat off the bill and if I go back it would be for seafood.

Dockside has a sizable outside deck/Tiki bar, allowing you to dine outside when the weather is nice. Solid food with choices for all tastes. Service is friendly but can be slow on the weekends when the weather is nice and the place gets busy.

The crab cakes were wonderful with little to no filler. We also had the fried fish basket and the club sandwich, no complaints at all. The french fries and sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection and not oily at all. Our waitress could not have been more attentive. We will be going back soon.

I went to Dockside for the first time last night. It was GREAT!!! I ALMOST NEVER GIVE A 5 STAR RATING to any place, reserving that rating for the best of the best. Indoor and outdoor seating, dog-friendly, good food, and excellent ambiance. It was exactly what I was hoping for, plus some. Great place to take a date or maybe even find one, because for the few restaurants I explored in the area, this is the first one that has had "interesting" clientele. Check it out!

Came for a men's group breakfast on a Monday and was treated with a typical American breakfast of fried eggs, hashbrowns, toast and meat. It hit the spot just right as it should. Tasty and delicious with a reasonable price. Others ordered the eggs benedict and omelettes which looked great. Would return for the staples of a wholesome American meal. Have eaten here many times, the food is very good and enjoy the atmosphere. Summertime at the tiki bar (outside bar and tables) is great, nice view. Plus a couple TV's to watch a game. The lounge bar inside has TV's as well. If your looking for a little more formal, the dining room is the way to go. Give it a try.

We took our family out for dinner after our boys play to celebrate. The waitress did not know what kind of soda products they carried and forgot to put my in laws order in to the cook when everyone else received their food.
