Normally it is a wonderful experience so I will give it 3 stars. But this time, when I ordered the same thing I always do, the same way I always do, I noticed I was charged $2.99 each for rice and charro beans. When I brought it to the waiters attention, he asked the manager, who said nope charges are accurate. I have always called the build your combo the burrito deluxe and have never been charged extra the probably over 30 times I have been there. Happens to be my wife's favorite place and that's where she wanted to go for her birthday. Instead of making a scene I called in to talk to the manager after we left. He interrupted me after 3 seconds in to my explanation. His response was a sarcastic wise crack of give me your name and next time you come in, you order however you like, no charges. I'll take this as a learning experience to not order like I have the last 30+ times since it was my fault. If the restaurant needs the extra $6 because the new one is taking their business, I am happy to help donate that $6.

Came here with the my family when I came home on vacation. Trouble getting refills. Food came out in shifts. Server rude. Blamed everything on someone else. Tamales so dry and dense I could not eat them. Fries were soggy and full of grease. Food quality was less then acceptable and service poor at best. I will not be back to this location nor will my family. NEVER BLAME THE KITCHEN.

Our family has eaten here often over the years. We have never had a meal that wasn't delicious. For the most part the prices are fair and the portions are very large. We always have lots of left overs to bring home. I like that you can substitute meats in all of the dishes is you prefer a different one. The pulled chicken is my favorite.

Called to place a huge order! Twenty five people. Before I could tell them it was for 25 people, I was told that it was going to take 30 to 40 minutes for one order. At this rate it would be several hours for twenty five people. I was willing to wait 90 minutes for this large order. But not several hours. Its obvious that they are short handed. I guess that the business is thriving and could not use a order of $375.00 plus 20%gratuity! And that is at a average cost of $15.00. They have loss my business!! This wasn't a catering order, are you telling me that you can't handle 25 people that walk in to the dining area either? This is a excuse, not a answer to your issue that you have in the restaurant. Lack of help just call it like it is, don't lie! Wasn't expecting the order to be ready in 30 minutes, 90 minutes was acceptable.

Heres the deal. I actually was never in love with this place but my wife always wants to go. My review is this: The food is not bad its just some things dont have any taste. But heres the catch, the management of these place is off the charts. They are very willing to replace your food with something else to make you happy. This place is clean and always has good wait staff. I have never waited m ore than 5 minutes for a table. So overall I would have to say that this is the best Mexican Restaurant in the area. You definitely dont want to go to Las Trancas. That place is filthy in everything.

It was our first time at cinco de mayo tonight. Our hostess was Matthew, who also became our waiter. He was fantastic! Very pleasant and friendly! He took our order and had our food back out to us in less than 10minutes! I'm very picky with my order and he had it perfect! (Not saying that was all because of him, the chef's were part of that as well, but he took it so accurately and informatively, that the chef had it correct!) The food is definitely priced higher than other Mexican restaurants, but wow, it was so much better! My spouse ordered the taco salad and it was LOADED! Most of the other restaurants give you a little bit of meat and fill it with lettuce and other toppings. Not this one, it was LOADED with beef and toppings! I ordered a fajita quesadilla, most other places it would of been called a quesadilla rellena or quesadilla deluxe. It had fajita veggies and lots of chicken. The rice has jalapeno and peppers. It had a good amount if guacamole, sour cream, Pico on the side, which I was impressed with the amount they added. Normally you get a small dollop of these items or you have to order the guac separate at other restaurants. Again, not here. Matthew was very eager to make sure everything was great and our drinks and chips never ran out. Our meal wasn't that expensive after all was said and done. We also ordered some dip for our chips... Which the total was only $30. We couldn't even finish our food and had to take half of everything home it was that much food! Very impressed! Loved our experience. The only downfall was the booths are very small and they had excerise videos playing on the tv while your eating all that yummy food!

Great mixed drink from the bar. Pineapple and coconut rum on the rocks!! Food was awesome. Hubbs ordered off vegetarian menu and really enjoyed it. I had chicken fajitas that were enough for a few people. I took it hope for lunch and still enough left for dinner too. The only reason it's not a 5 star is that I asked our server from the beginning to bring boxes and she didn't. I had to wait and wait after eating and summon another server for boxes and the check.

Used to go in very often but, lately the food and service has not been good. Servers don't seem happy and the food just hasn't been coming out right. Additionally, my neighbors child used to work here until they discovered the managers here were deliberately not paying them and their coworkers for their hours worked. That was enough for me, poor food, service, and at least one illegal thing there I am aware of. Will not spend money at a place like this, just wrong.

Very good service with decent prices. I like that they have a weekend drink special as opposed to simply a happy hour. The food is good and portions are pretty large which was enjoyable. Nothing had a lot of spice in it (salsa, cheese sauce, chicken) which I would have enjoyed but I’m also a spicy food lover. Good place to stop in and enjoy some food and drink!

Great service! Lot's of people check on you and it is pretty fast. But they keep getting the items I order wrong. Order steak fajitas I get chicken I order the pico salad I get a side of Pico. It's just ok not great.

I used to fight anyone that said bad things about this place always 5 star. But I went a couple days ago the prices doubled the portion cut in half. I paid 8 dollars for 2 scallops. Food still good and the look of the place still clean just everything else going down hill

We really love Cinco. This restaurant really does have it all. Great food, good atmosphere, fantastic service. I cannot recommend them any higher if your in the mood for some great Mexican food. If you like guacamole, do yourself a favor and get the table side guac, it's awesome

First time here. I found it to be a wonderful experience. They generally have an afternoon beer special. I ordered the favorite dinner. Scallops shrimp pieces of chicken fried with vegetables tomatoes peppers onions mushrooms with a sauce on a bed of rice. It was in fact wonderful. When I'm in the area I will definitely return the bartender was friendly and easy to communicate with. A must stop when in the area

You have to go here!! Traveling south on 81..easy on and off ? Spring Hill exit...make a right towards Walmart. I had the best chicken quesadilla I may have ever had! My husband had the chicken fajita quesadilla! Wonderful food and reasonably priced. Also had many drink specials!

Lived in the panhandle for a long time and this has to be my favorite Mexican restaurant, by far. Huge fan of the cárnitas tacos. Also love that you can mix and match them, steak, chicken, cárnitas, shrimp, and Chorizo tacos. Can't really go wrong with anything on the menu really. A little on the pricey side but well worth it. They have specials on margaritas on some days which are great as well as a good variety of traditional Mexican beers. The chori-Queso dip is a must try.

This is consistently a very good place to eat. The service is fast and friendly, but if you want to relax and spend a longer evening that's fine as well. We've never had a bad meal here. Favorites are the soft shell tacos and the fajita quesadilla. Highly recommend.

it's like night and day. I am currently at the restaurant. This is my second visit. My visit was great. The service was good as well as the margaritas and the food. My current visit not so good. I set at the bar for 10 minutes before someone greeted me. That person me on to someone else who eventually took my drink order. The drink was delicious but I never received a menu. It wasn't until I had finished my drink, chip and salsa, when I was offered a menu. When all said and done, the food was good. The service not so good

My experience was horrible! My husband is in the military they refused his Chip id the manager stated that the reason he couldn't except it was because Parents in the military pass their ids down for their kids to use and drink with. Mind you it has 2 pictures of my husband on it!! So then my husband ordered the taco salad the meat was ice cold We ask them to fix it the manager says Do you want something else or do you just want me to take it off the bill? My husband replies I don't want anything else. The manager says thank you walks to the kitchen and the entire kitchen staff starts laughing. I wonder if he was born here or if he has his visa... Only because A United States citizen should respect The men that serve their country and keep them safe and free....

Will never go back there, the table an floor we sat at was very dirty so then they moved us to the back where there was 8 staff memebers standing around talking loudly and starring at me and my boyfriend the whole time. Never been in a restaurant where their were so many workers just standing doing nothing. The manager was right there as well, why wasn't he managing. When we told them it was horrible service they got smart an were rude to us. Good food but not good management going on.

Had some errands to do in the area. I have been twice to this location and both time I got the fajitas. They were really good and very well mixed with the ingredients it is cooked with. The waitress was nice and great at making sure our drink were always full. I would definitely recommend going here. Also the second time the food was out so fast I was left amazed.

The only problem was when the bill came. It was Monday and the sign out front said $2.99 Margaritas and $2 off fresh guacamole dip. The server had rang us up for "Large Margaritas" and there was no discount on those or the fresh guacamole dip. Other than that, the food was amazing! Everything tasted really great. The server makes the guacamole right in front of you at the table and it is super fresh. The spanish rice could use improving, but everything else was exceptional. Really good customer service. They fixed the bill and was really friendly about it. It was a $20 difference. This place is also more expensive than the average Mexican restaurant. There must be renovations going on in the restroom as well. The floors look like the tile was stripped and were concrete. We'll be back!

My school recently had this place cater to us and the food was delicious as always! I'm impressed that it was so good even when in containers on a drive. I love the way their food tastes and honestly I'm glad I live so close to it! Nothing is ever over-priced, and it is almost always clean and warm inside!

Fast service and LARGE portions. Everything is pretty reasonably priced too. The regular margarita was amazing and big enough to go swimming in. If you come, make sure to order the large guacamole. They mix it for you fresh right at your table! Options include mixing in onion, cilantro, jalapeño, & tomato.

We decided to finally give it a try and I have to say that we probably won't be back. For the prices of the food, it wasn't very good at all. My husband I ordered 2 different things and we both took maybe 2 bites and that was it. The rice was definitely an instant rice. My kids' kids meals was probably the best. That was definitely $60 down the drain. I think we will be sticking to Fiesta Tapatia from here on out!!

This place was awful. The quality of the food was good the quanity was severely lacking. None of the employees were helpful and i dont know if he was the owner or manager , was very short with me for just asking what they had that was similar to a wet burrito since it wasnt on the menu. The boss even had to show a boy how to sweep tbe floor properly while i waited for my food. It was crazy expensive and i was still starving after spending 40 dollars for 2 meals . i have never gone back and i never will. As soon as the new fiesta tapita opens in spring mills i hope they get run outta town. I wish there was a zero star option.
