A young man behind the counter was being berated by a customer today and I just wanted to commend him for his patience. The customer was being very nasty but the young man continued to do his job and help other customers while being harassed. I love the food by the way and I order from here very often.

I waited 15 almost 20 mins for a chicken burrito and 3-4 people ordered their food and got it within 2 mins. I went up and ordered a side yuca because I diddnt know a side fries came with it. I straight gave the women up front the receipt for the burrito and she was like “hold on” and talking Spanish and I knew what she was saying. I diddnt yell because you never know what people put in your food but they was dead wrong. Im running late sitting down waiting on food and everyone else is getting theirs before me what would you do? Food was decent but customer service was dead wrong. If I was the first one to order why should I wait that long and I’m waiting and you ignoring me? Naw not going back here go to Chicken Rico’s on eastern ave, highlandtown is better and people there are always consistent.

Great food, great staff. Do not be fooled by the imitators. SUPER CHICKEN RICO is NOT the same food. It's a very poor imitation. I have tried both and for me it's well worth the time to travel to Dundalk for the 1 and only REAL Chicken RICO. Food is wonderful and the portions are SO large that I literally ate twice from the 1 meal. Price is very good for the quality and amount of food they give you. I had the quarter white meat chicken with 2 sides. It's about 8 bucks with tax and so delicious. I would HIGHLY recommend this business.

This is one of those places if you leave hungry it's your own fault. For under $10 you can walk out with a Quarter chicken, two sides, and a soda. I opted for the steak and plantains, which was a little more money but well worth it. The steak was super packed with flavor and tender. The plantains were some of the best I ever had. Would highly recommend this place.Visited this place twice. I liked their food.chicken, plantain fries and other sides like peruvian rice varieties, sauces all are tasty. Prices are very reasonable.

Communication gaps, waited 15 min for a burrito and French fries while 3 people came in and got there food, whole time they were laughing and joking around. Good food but bad service. Won’t be there for AWHILE !

We have been to this place a handful of times because the food is really good and the prices are super reasonable However, I'm giving it one star due to the incredibly poor service we experienced during our visit last month. It was a weeknight and they weren't busy. When my husband and I walked in, there was no one waiting in line. We ordered and paid. My husband's order was prepared right away. And I was told mine would be a few minutes. No biggie. We sat down and ten minutes later my husband was almost finished with his meal. I decided to go inquire about mine. A few other customers had come in since we first ordered. I thought perhaps they were just a bit behind. The man at the counter yelled to the back kitchen and told me it would be a few minutes. I sat back down. Five minutes later, I went back up to the counter. My order still wasn't ready and the man at the counter acted like he had no idea what I had ordered. This time I was annoyed and asked for my money back. My husband had finished his meal. And, it had been almost a half an hour since we walked in. Then he had the nerve to ask me if I had paid for it. Seriously?! You were not so busy that you didn't remember this. Not to mention, you pay right after you order. I said "Yes, we had paid for our order" and told him to check his register receipts. Apparently, they do not write the orders on tickets. You can see how well that system has worked out. So now not only was I really hungry, I felt insulted. I cannot knock the food. It is usually a good meal at a reasonable price. But, poor customer service can really ruin your appetite.

Very unassuming from the outside, didnt expect much but the roasted chicken turned out to be the best ive had in a while. Meat falls off the bone, crispy skin not quite burned but just right...black beans very flavorful, no "out of a can" taste here. Plantain lovers rejoice! I love Chicken Rico. But not so much lately. I don't know WHAT has happened to the one over here in Dundalk (late shift) within the last month or so.. but they need to reverse those changes. There was a young guy that worked the evening shift that kept the place so clean and somehow managed to keep the food fresh as well. Now on a consistent basis.. the rice is very hard and the chicken is undercooked. I know this is rotisserie but.. the other guy's was always seasoned right, hot, and juicy. I went there last night and last night will be the last time I will go into this one- not only was the food dry but they overcharged me with someone else's order. Whatever. I am so done with this one. Oh! And they really should do something about the guy that sticks his tongue out while preparing your food- that is so not good, I don't know if he thinks this adds additional flavor or what but.. doesn't look really tasty on my end.

Ordered a "steak" burrito, IT'S on the menu. Got the receipt noticed it said chicken burrito. I immediately told them of the error. Order came out with shredded chicken on a sub roll, the guy at the counter realized it was wrong, sent it back. Second time the order came out it looked like shredded beef, again on a sub roll. The guy at the counter explained to the girl we ordered "steak burrito." The last time the order came out it was wrapped in foil. Assumed it was a "steak" burrito. Got it home only to discover it was ground hamburger - it was wrapped in a tortilla shell. It was tasty, but I ordered a steak burrito! They did offer a soda while we waited to compensate for the extremely long wait.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Dundalk. It is more of a fast-casual set up, but the food is incredible. The charcoal spit roasted chicken is phenomenal, and the sides are amazing, especially the plantains, yuca and black beans. Really worth the trip.

They give you a lot of good food and it's really cheap for the quality. I just am warning you now: If you have stomach problems, DO NOT EAT THE SAUCE. It made me and my boyfriend sick. He has crohns and I have food allergies so it should be ok if you're healthy. Otherwise, delicious. One of my favorite restaurants.

Currently sitting in the parking lot in front of the store that says online that they are open until 9:30pm and the employee inside the store says they close at 9pm and the websites isn’t up to date! I asked when will the website be updated and he says I’m not sure but we are closed right now! I told him that that’s false advertisement and even more false that they say they are closed at 9 and myself and two other customers that were there first arrived around 8:55-8:58p. In the middle of writing this review someone called my phone at 9:05 to Dispute the time I saw of the closing hours online, I hung up on them because if you have time to call back to Dispute the time I saw online then you had time to make my order for my family and I!

My 5 coworkers and I tried Chicken Rico’s for the first time in March 13th around 3 pm. We ordered a variety of food items since it was our first time ( burrito, chicken sub, quesadilla and chicken dinners). That evening into the following morning we ALL had food poisoning. Two of us couldn’t even make it to work. We all had the full list of food poisoning symptoms from the diarrhea, nausea, fever, headache, shivers etc.. I am also contacting the health department so that an inspector can go out. This is unaccceptable!

Location: in the plaza with the Gold's Gym (located to the right if you look @ the gym sign) I like the food here: flavorful, juicy grilled chicken with your choice of sides (my favorites are yucca and plantain). I like the space: clean and open seating and usually the music isn't too loud to distract. There is a widescreen TV here that is usually playing fútbol games en español. I like the prices: I can split a whole chicken with 3 friends, and it's like <$5 each for a good meal. The only thing I dislike is that they don't give enough green sauce!!
