Had 2 great meals. Mine was 2 huge lambchops, broccoli and great mashed potatoes. also very warm bread with honey butter and each of us had salads, soup, and our choice of desert. My husband's choice was large shrimp and stringbeans. We brought our desserts and soups home with what was left of our main meal. All of the above for only $29.00 each. Everything was served quickly, with a smile. We also go there on Thursday nights for the delicious fajitas. The desserts consisted of coconut cream pie and rainbow cake I highly recommend Broadneck Grill in Cape St Clair for good service, delicious meals and good prices. C. Violette

In Cape and need a margarita? Come to Cantina. Taco Tuesdays are bomb and Sundays are $3 margs all day. Dessert case is always there for you when the sweet tooth strikes.

With a party of about 20 people, I expected this little place to struggle, but it did not disappoint. Really tasty Tex-Mex food and friendly service. A very accommodating staff that helped us split up all of our bills and managed to help us get out of the restaurant on time. Fairly giant food portion sizes, so keep that in mind when ordering. Not a huge alcohol selection, but decent for the price. I'll keep coming back to this little place.

Good food and atmosphere. Fajitas steak meat was not as tender as other restaurants and meat was a smaller portion size. Sauce on chicken burrito was very good.

We have only had the nachos, but they are always served quick, fresh, and just the right amount of toppings. Nothing is worse than an overloaded or skimpy nacho. The broadneck grill gets it just right. They also have a nice selection of draft beers. It is a cozy neighborhood feel.

Good food and great happy hour specials. The crab cake is actually pretty good here. Leaps and bounds better then the crab cakes at Donnelly's Dockside. The fish and chips and burgers are good as well.

NOTE: For first-timers (like us), the name and atmosphere are a little misleading because we were expecting pub fare BUT the menu was Tex-Mex. Not a complaint, just something to be aware of. The food was good, service was good, and prices were reasonable. If we lived nearby, I could see it making our short-list of preferred places to eat. They have a good sized bar too, with the customary plethora of TVs, separated from the dining room by widows. A boon to folks that like to sneak a peak at the scores without the noise but a potential hazard for those that are easily distracted (guilty). ;-)

This is a nice local bar that stays fairly busy serving Mexican food. The desserts here are phenomenal!!! The food is great and typically the service is fantastic, but I did have an extremely bad waitress the last time I visited which is why I gave it 4 stars.

If you do go, you have to try the jalapeno poppers. They are house made and are so amazing. Happy hour is wonderful. Never had a bad meal at BGC. The homemade desserts are to die for, and all of the bartenders and servers are fantastic. It has a very "Cheers" like atmosphere, and you would be missing out if you didn't at least pop in for a beer.

Very good food. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the language can get very vulgar and they don't do anything to stop it. Sometimes the staff will start throwing out "F" bombs too. All in all though it is a very family, personable place. Drinks are reasonably priced and they have great dinner specials throughout the week.

LOVE their cold or hot spiced tea! It really brings out the flavors of their food offerings. While I wish their regular menu prices were a bit more reasonable based on the portions you get, they do have specials that will have you coming back. Be sure to leave some space for your stomach to take a good look at that decadent dessert display case too!

Overall not bad. I didn't think the menu would be predominantly Mexican cuisine going in but that's what most of it is. I got a chicken sandwich and it was pretty good (the bacon on it was really good). The cream of crab is more crab than cream which I'm not a fan of but not bad. I got a slice of key lime pie and it had a good balance of sweet to tart. I believe they make their own deserts but I'm not certain.

I AM NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. The waitress put our food in after another table of regulars came in 15 mins after us. They when we asked to just pay for our drinks and cancel the food she told us she doesn't control the kitchen and had a complete attitude then brushed us off and went to another table. When speaking with the manager we decided to leave. The waitress then said while standing right next to me"I don't know what their problem is." My problem is that you are rude. I fully understand that she cant control when the food comes out. I worked in the service industry. What she does have control over is letting us know the food is running a bit behind and her attitude. The manager just stood there while the server raised her voice and argues with me. Leaving the restaurant a person in the parking lot stopped us tell us about their horrible experiences with rude staff there. Avoid this place like the plague.
