Good place for Korean- American food. Best place to have chicken wings and beer (big boy!). Staff is very friendly, service could be quicker (but I am not complaining). Nice place to hangout with your friends (before/ after the movie -10% off with a valid movie ticket!). Fried ice-cream and Seoul Iced tea are two really good things to definitely have other than wings. Great go-to place if someone is craving some Korean chicken wings!

Food is great tasting and the quantity is good. Would obviously recommend the chicken; be aware that the spicy chicken is quite spicy (unlike somewhere like Popeyes which both spicy and mild taste the same). I would not recommend the bubble tea though, it had an odd taste and appeared to be heavily colored. Service was quite fast and our server was very courteous and took care of our needs. He was a bit quiet and hard to hear though. Parking is free for 2 hours and quite easy to find. There's several entrances to the area's underground parking which is within walking distance of the restaurant.

So I'm here eating now and my chicken had a real nasty taste. It had an old taste to it, as if it been sitting my a wet rag. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me. "It's the same chef" so that was her answer to problem. I wouldn't advise anyone to eat here. They have no results to your problem!

The service was spectacular even as the place was crowded. Their takoyaki was just right while the bibimbap was good, but not great as the rice was a bit dry. It may be due to the rush they had in the kitchen. Nice Happy hour specials, but limited selections of drinks in each category especially in beer. I'm looking forward to going back.

The serving sizes are huge, and there service is incredible! Some of the people there were a little finicky due to health issues, and they went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. I was very impressed with their customer service!

I lost appetite after seeing the Florida Governors projection. Anyway, the food was good despite my main concern for the evening. Thr calamari was spicy and so was the chicken Bull Dak. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I wish the menu contained more grilled and non breaded options. Much of the menu is fried chicken, wings etc. I also dont remember seeing any fish filet options. I dont remember many teriaki chicken options either. Aside from the lack of diversity of the menu, the food they serve is good and I would recommend.

I absolutely love Bon Chon and had both of my sisters loving it too, but I had an unfortunate experience today at The location in Hyattsville. I placed an order to take out and while I was waiting, I went to the bathroom and saw mouse dropping and a mouse trap in the bathroom. I was shocked. I had not experienced anything like that before. Needless to say I requested a refund and left. This was my second time ordering from this location and am very sadden by this experience. I will stick with the location in Southeast DC.

Great wings here, definitely better than bww. Prices are super fair, you get a lot of food for your money. Just a warning, the hot is really hot lol. The restaurant is in a quiet area without a lot of foot traffic so it seems like there wouldn't be much of a wait anytime you go.

I've been to Bonchon before but at a different location. Well, let's just say location is everything! The SW D.C. location is way better - more organized, nicer inside, etc...! The Hyattsville location was not as well-kept inside. The server had a really hard time understanding English and had to ask someone to come over to answer questions so we could place our order. She was a delightful woman, but getting simple requests like extra water was difficult because of the language barrier. The food was hot but tasted different from the D.C. location. I won't return.

The visit to Bonchon was delightful. There are TV screens showing sports all around but this is not a sports bar and they don't pretend to be one. The food was great, medium prices but large portions and well presented. There is a nice representation of Korean foods with an American twist, as well as typical American food. The employees in the front are Korean so be prepared for the cultural difference. They are not intrusive preferring instead to not interrupt the guests. Definitely worth a try.

The menu saves this location. This has a more comprehensive menu to display what is available. The sweet crunch is ok but def not worth ordering. Just fried chicken with honey. Nothing that stands out. All other locations have a good theme and comfortable seating arrangements. This location looks thrown together. The waitress that served me had an attitude and dismissed my requests the towards the latter half of my stay. It was a light shift with 2 other customers in there with me. The way they store their containers next to drinking & eating utensils is horrendous. Water is left out w/o lids, the lack of cleaning materials for customers up front is piss poor. The seats are quite uncomfortable, torn & battered. Have seen better from other locations. This is a statement about management and the employees they hire.

Wings were fried and battered perfectly! I’ve tried all the wing sauces and they’re so good! Although it could use a little more salt and I rarely ever salt my food. The onion rings have real onions and the fries are great! The bulgogi is tasty too! Haven’t had anything bad here.

The worst customer service I ever experienced in my life. The food was awful and my order was WRONG. Bonchon should be ashamed of having such awful staff. Edit: I called to follow up with the owner's response to this review. I spoke to the "general manager" and she said that "there was no way that we got the order wrong" and there was nothing she could do. I called to speak to the person who asked me to reach out, but it seems that person doesn't really exist. It was informed to me that cooperate policy does not affect their location. Please don't give them your business. Take it elsewhere where they want to make it right with the customer.

I will not be coming back to this location and I'd highly suggest you avoid this location. You have been warned.

I went here because the pictures on Instagram looked amazing. I was hungry so decided to give this place a try. I ordered to take out. I got the house fried rice and the popcorn chicken. Along with that I ordered some taro bubble tea. The first sip of the tea tasted like water with a drop of the tea flavoring. I had to ask to get it redone. When I got home I opened up my popcorn chicken, and it had a dark brown color. It tasted okay, way too fried for my liking, some pieces were borderline burned. The rice was ok as well. Overall, for the price, the quality of the food was not there. To top it all off the customer service was subpar. The hostess was on her phone while trying to take care of me. This is why she rushed to make my bubble tea... I do not recommend this place for takeout, maybe dine in you'll have a better service.

Had a "Very Bad" experience first time at this place got my order "All' wrong. Gave me wrong order. Do not go to this location. Food was very sticky and greasy, to top it all off I found a smashed fly in my food as I was eating, I literally threw my food on the ground. And Barrrrphed, Never ever Again And Enfinity! If I could give a thousand zeros I would. They don't even deserve one star. Will be cooking at home alot more. Be very careful when eating out at these places.

I’ve ordered from here before and had a good experience with great wings. However, based on my experience today, a warning to those wanting wings in time for 1pm game start time. We placed our order just after 12pm and were told 15 mins. By 12:35 no wings and told it could be another 10 mins at least. Recommend the restaurant re think their planning on game days.

A wonderful place to eat, the wings were wonderful. We had all three of the flavors available and really enjoyed the spicy and soy garlic. The sweet crunchy was ok, however the sauce was honey based and it was sweet and sticky. I see how some could like it, but it was not for me. The other flavors however we're both fantastic and I will definitely be bringing friends back to enjoy it some more! I would recommend to anyone who enjoys wings or Asian fusion as they have a lot to offer!

They were understaffed. My server was very slow also. It took her a long time to get me water, get my food, and even get my check. I also ordered something else but I never got it so I said forget it. I was with two friends and there was two bills and she charged our cards wrong after we told the girl specifically which bill to charge to which card. I called for a manager twice but still sent over an associate. I'm not going here again. I was there way too long. I love Bonchon just not this location. By the way I ordered pork buns and it was just basically cold raw dough with a thin slice of pork and cucumber....

Not sure about the food, but the customer service there is horrible went to pick up my food and asked to use the restroom and was told someone was cleaning it so I should wait 5 minutes waited more than 5 minutes and another lady said that I should go use the restroom at the movie theaters. Came in after a movie date was about 9 pm. The place wasn't crowded but service was average. Asked for extra sauce on the aide for the calamari way told they couldn't do that. Drinks were pricey and their taste was average and the wings were fried to hard.

Great food and wonderful staff! My partner and I came in for lunch and we were immediately seated. Shortly after being seated our server came and took our order. It was not very long before the food came out and it was very good. The only con was that there was a fly flying around the dining room, but after a few seconds of shooing away it left us alone. Overall I enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the service and will most likely return again.

Used to love coming to this place, but in the past month the quality of the wings has gone down in my opinion. Past 3 recent times I've come here, the wings are still juicy and slides right off the bones. But the flavor is lacking, sometimes it's mostly bland with hints of the soy or hot sauce. Not sure if they got a new chef but they need to make a change. I'll be swinging by wingstop until they go back to what the flavors used to be.

Enjoyed a nice meal at Bonchon Chicken in Hyattsville with family. It was our first time eating Korean Fried chicken. We had an early dinner so it wasn’t crowded. The food and service was great. Never really thought their chicken is that mind-blowingly good, this one is probably their standard quality, other dishes are slightly overpriced. Good for groups to go, but their awkwardly loud music makes conversations difficult.

The chicken's the same as the VA location, good stuff, but how do you get an order wrong after repeating 3 times, is beyond me, even when I come in to pay and pick up, as usual, I repeat my order and the answer was yes; got back to my brothers place and the side dish is wrong. The location is great for the university, but hard to find if you are from out of town. The chicken, great as usual, the service not so much. I think the person on the other end of the phone, may have been one of the two people I met at pick up. The joint was 25% full when I got there, so getting the order wrong, I'll leave that to someone else's discretion, to figure out. Enjoying the chicken is what it's really about.

I like the food but I will never come back to this location because of the poor customer service. I attempted to call my order in and the hostess who answered the phone was rude. She kept cutting me off and eventually I’d had enough and told her because she was rude I’d like to cancel the order.

This place obviously knows how to please their clients. Regularly with a nice mindset. The food is fairly priced, regularly tasty and clean.

Not much flavor, tteokbokki tastes like they threw a frozen meal in the microwave. Wouldn't be a bad place to go late at night when nothing is open though.
